Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted to determine the composition andstructure of the riparian vegetation along the river Subayang concept of communitydeveloped modules on the course Ecology in November 2015-January 2016. The studywas carried out by two phases: analysis of vegetation and stage enrichment module.The first phase was conducted in six sampling stations that are around the RiverSubayang, Kampar. The study used survey method Location research done by purposivesampling. Data retrieval research conducted using belt transect method that consists ofthree plots. The second stage using ADDIE development model. The results showed thatthe Riparian Vegetation Subayang River, Kampar has 21 family, 34 species and theoverall number of individuals as much as 252 people, and has a density of 348.63 ind /ha and the value of diversity index of 3.18 is high. The results of the study can be usedas a modular unit concept of community in the subject Ekololgi.Key Words: Species composition, vegetation structure, module

Abstract

Abstract : The study was conducted to determine the quality of the waters of theSubayang as enrichment Aquatic Ecology module in November 2015 - January 2016.Stages of the research is the analysis of water quality based on the Biotilic indexSubayang River, the next stage of enrichment courses Aquatic Ecology modules usingADDIE models. The research found 25 familia divided into 8 orders in which the threeorders of groups EPT is the order Ephemeroptera (4 familia), Plecoptera (2 familia),Trichoptera (6 familia), and 5 orders of the non-EPT is the order Odonata (4 familia),Coleoptera (3 familia), Hemiptera (3 familia), Diptera (4 familia), and Neotaeniglossa(1 familia). Familia number is highest for the number familia station I found that 16familia familia and the amount was lowest for the VI station with 3 number familia.Familia number belonging to the highest station EPT group I with 8 familia EPT whilethe lowest was in the VI station with only one number familia belonging to the EPTgroup. EPT abundance ranged from 25% -100%, which is highest abundance in stationV and the lowest at the station VI. Index sensitivity level is highest at V station with thelowest index value at station 4 and the third with an index value of 3.21. Based Biotilicindex, the quality of river waters Subayang ranged from uncontaminated until beingpolluted. The results of the research can be used as enrichment Aquatic Ecologymodule.Keywords : Water Quality, Biotilic Index, Module, Aquatic Ecology

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the composition, structure, and carbonstock of vegetation in Riau University Arboretum and to develop module in naturalenvironment concept for environmental education courses. Conducted from November2015 until January 2016. This study conducted in 2 step i.e. (1) Vegetation analysis andcarbon stock estimation; (2) Module development. The methods to collect data is usingsurvey and the observation took place in Riau University Arboretum. Sampling locationare determine using purposive random sampling by considering vegetation condition,environment, and topographic. Module is developed using ADDIE model. Parameter inthis study are vegetation analysis, biomass, and carbon estimation. Vegetation in RiauUniversity Arboretum consist of 25 family, 44 species, and 604 individual with mediumcategory (2,94) for diversity. Hevea brasiliensis is the species with highest importancevalue index (74,05%). Total of biomass and carbon stock in study location are 2,23ton/ha and 1,12 ton C/ha. Module that developed from outcome of the study is in validcategory (4,1) and limited test shows that the module in very good category (89,3).Key Word : Riau University Arboretum, carbon stock, module

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to empirically analyze physics learning media in three-dimensional animation by using Blender application on subject of atomic core for senior high school. This research is the Research and Development type use ADDIEmodel of instructional Design. The subject of this study is the physics learning media in three-dimensional animation using Blender application on subject of atomic core for senior high school. The data in this study is a media assessment score which is given by the respondents through questionnaires. The respondents consisted of 11 teachers of physics (Expert), 20 teachers of physics (Expert User) and 22 students (User) in SMA Pekanbaru. Furthermore, the data were analyzed for validity test through product moment correlation technique and reliability test through Cronbach's alpha technique. Based on data analysis, the value of r count of validity of the assessment score which is given by respondents to the physics learning media is greater than r table. And reliability assessment score which is given by respondents to the physics learning media, has a Cronbach's alpha of greater than 0.7. It can be concluded that the physics learning media in three-dimensional animation using Blender application on subject of atomic core is valid and reliable by teachers and students so that proper used for physics learning media in senior high school.Key Words: Empirical Analysis, Three-Dimensional Animation, Blender Aplication

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to know student’s attitude toward science in physics learning through the comic media in the light subject. The method used in this research was quasi experimental method with non-equivalent control group design. This study was taken place in SMP Negeri 21 Pekanbaru with the sample of research consisted of 82 eighth grade students in the school year of 2015/2016 who devided become two classes, exsperiment and control class. The instrument data collection in this study is questionnaire of attitudes toward science which consists of 28 statements. Analysis of the data in this study is descriptive analysis to categorize the average score of student’s attitude toward science and analysis of the increase (gain) based on the result of pretest and postest. Based on data analysis, the result of this study obtained an average score of student’s attitude toward science in the experiment class and control class are in high category. For pretest’s score in experiment class, the average Score of 2,90 and control class is 3,01. For score of postest in experiment class, the average Score of 2,95 and control class is 2,94. As for the increase (gain) the average score of student’s attitude toward science in the experiment class in low category with a value of 0,05 and control class is not increased. This result show the use of comic media in physics learning on the light subject can increase student’s attitude toward science.Key Words: Atittude toward science, comic media

Abstract

Abstrack: This research aimed to develop higher order thinking skills (HOTS) workheet in momentum, impulse, and collision for senior high school grade xi/semester 1. Research conducted at the laboratory of physiscs learning strategy development. this type of research is Reseach and Development (R&D) with 4D model development, the procedure includes define, design, develop and disseminate. This research was carried out until develo. Data collection instruments used validation sheets for 5 validator, included 3 lecturer and 2 teacher. Aspects assessed include graphic and presentation, language, and the contents of higher order thinking skills (HOTS) workheet. Based on the result of data analysis showed that all aspects got average score in the range of 3.4 to 4 categories of high and very high. Thus, higher order thinking skills (HOTS) workheet was valid.Key Word: Higher Order Thinking Skills worksheet, HOTS, Worksheet, Momentum,impulse and collision worksheet.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to describe the achievement level of curriculum 2013 implementation’s in Physics learning in term of the senior high school teachers Pekanbaru. This study is descriptive qualitative using survey method. A total of fifteen physics teachers from four senior high schools as parent cluster of curriculum 2013 in Pekanbaru has contributed in the process of collecting data by questioner. The data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative used to describe qualitative ordinal data such as achievement score implementation of curriculum 2013, which obtained from the research.The result showed that the achievement level of implementation curricullum 2013 in Physics Learning in term of the Senior High School teachers Pekanbaru included of the category quite well. Therefore, implementation of Curruculum 2013 has not done optimally yet.Key Words: Implementation of Curriculum 2013, Physics Learning, and Teachers

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the correlation between knowledge and scientific attitude land and forest fire prevention STUDENTS in MTsN Bukit Batu Bengkalis, Riau that was conducted in November 2015 to May 2016. The sample in this study were 63 students randomly selected in VIII grade in school year 2015/2016 and two science teachers as supporting data. The parameters of this study is the knowledge of the land and forest fire prevention and scientific attitude land and forest fire prevention. Instrument knowledge with written tests, scientific attitude is measured by using a closed questionnaire that has been valid and reliable and interview guidelines. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics simple regression test. The results of data analysis showed that there is a low correlation between knowledge with scientific attitude land and forest fire prevention learners in MTsN Bukit Batu Bengkalis, Riau.Keywords: Knowledge, Scientific Attitude, Land and Forest Fires

Abstract: The purpose of this research to increase student’s active achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X of SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Timur through the implementation of the active learning strategy Question Student Have. Form of the research is experiment research with pretest- posttest design. The sample consisted of to classes, X.8 class as experiment class and X.7 class as control class that randomly selected after testing normaly and homogenity. Experiment class was given by implementing active learning strategy Question Student Have and the control class was given by conventionl method. Analysis of data used t-test. Data of research obtined tcount> ttable (2,75> 1,66). It means that using active learning strategy Question Student Have can improve achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X of SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Timur. Abstract

Abstract : Teaching materials chemistry constructivism oriented is the teaching materials have a structure of the content in the form of the introduction (the standard of competence, basic competence, indicators and the learning objectives), subject matter (description of the material ,table stuffing, pictures and illustrations) and student activities (matter ,conclusion ,sheet experiment) were prepared based approach constructivism to direct students to use the knowledge they had before to reach a conclusion of new knowledge as a whole. Through the calculation, the value of r is 0.07148513 thus obtained Kp rates at 7.15 % . This shows that the use of Instructional Materials Chemistry Constructivism Oriented On Salt Hydrolysis Improving Learning Enhancement Student Class XI IPA at SMAN 1 Kateman Indragiri Hilir at 7.15%. The use of teaching materials oriented constructivism influence on student learning enhancement. Constructivist-oriented teaching materials are intended to support students' active learning process that is useful to establish the knowledge and understanding that will affect student learning enhancement.Keywords: constructivism, learning material, knowledge
