Abstract

Abstract : The aim of this research was to improve scientific attitude and biology learning result of students class VII4 at SMPN 2 Tambang with the application of think pair share model academic year 2015/2016. This research was conducted at SMPN 2 Tambang class VII4 on Maret until April 2016. This research was a classroom action research and collaborated with teacher of SMPN 2 Tambang. Subject of this research was student class VII4 that consist of 20 student (11 girls and 9 boys). The parameters of this research were scientific attitude and learning result. Scientific attitude consist of curiosity, collaboration, disiplin, responsibility and percayadiri. Learning result consist of reserve capacity and student thoroughtness. Data analysis consist of scientific attitude and students learning result. The result showed that the mean score of scientific attitude on 1 st cycle was 69,25%(kurang) and increased on 2nd cycle with the mean score was 89,75%(good). For reserve capacity, the mean score on 1 st cycle was 70,5%(kurang) and increased on 2 nd cycle with the mean score was 83%(good). For students thoroughness individually, the mean score was 80%(thorough) on 1 st cycle and 100%(thorough) on 2 nd cycle. Based on the result, it can be conclude that the application of think pair share model could improve scientific attitude and biology learning result of student class VII4 at SMPN 2 Tambang academic year 2015/2016.Key words : Improve scientific attitude, think pair share model, biology learning result

Abstract

Abstract: This research was to determine the genus of bacteria can produce electricity energy used microbial fuel cell series in waste water of tofu and develop module in enviromental mikrobiology concept in basic microbiology among December 2015- May 2016. This research did by 2 phases : isolate microbial fuel cell bakteria in waste water of tofu and development of the module. This research is descriptive, sampling did by purposive sampling, with pick sample in 3 spot there are 2 m,4 m dan 6 m in river bank from source discharges,with considering the existence of tofu waste clumps in the river source waste disposal. Parameter in this research there are test electrical energy, isolate bacteria of microbial fuel cell, and develop the module of basic microbiology. The highest electricity energy in this research observed on the 40th hour of 67,2 mV,kind of bacteria in microbial fuel cell series in tofu waste water are Entrobacter,Desulfomaculum,Sulfobacterium. Abstract

Abstract:This study is a class action that aims to improve the learning outcomes of students of class VII SMPN 1 Sinaboi Satu Atap 2015/2016 school year by implementing cooperative learning model type STAD. This research was conducted in two cycles of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The parameters in this study is the thoroughness of learning outcomes derived from the value of post tets and the daily test, student activities and teacher's activities are collected using observation sheet. The results showedabsorption in the first cycle was 69.24% (or less) and the second cycle increased to 87.2% (good). Mastery learning students in the first cycle that 74.96% (enough) and the second cycle increased to 81.04% (excellent).Group awards in the first cycle, one predicated super group and4 great predicated group. In the second cycle, the 2 groups and 3 groups predicated predicated super great. Learning activities of students during a discussion with the implementation of cooperative learning model STAD first cycle is 81% (good) increased to 93.87% (excellent) on the second cycle. Activities teachers in the learning process in the first cycle is 75%, (enough) and the second cycle was 95% (excellent). It can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model STAD can improve learning outcomes IPA class VII SMPN 1 Sinaboi Atap school year 2015/2016.Keywords : STAD cooperative mode, IPA Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to determine the increase of student’s self-efficacy in class X SMAN 14 Pekanbaru by applying the TANDUR strategies on subject Temperature and Heat. The research was conducted in SMAN 14 Pekanbaru precisely in February 2016 to June 2016. The form of the research is one group pretest-posttest design. The research instruments used include: (1) questionnaires of self-efficacy, and (2) observation sheet self-efficacy. Data analysis is conducted by using Gain self-efficacy through questionnaires given to the students of class X3 before and after the implementation of TANDUR strategies. The observation is conducted by observing the students on every meeting. The results of this research: (1) After the implementation of the TANDUR strategies, self-efficacy of students has increased based on questionnaire score obtained gain value 0,30; (2) based on the observation values increased from 55,68% to 74,05% in the medium category. The result of this research indicate that the results of questionnaires and observations can be concluded that the implementation of TANDUR strategies that have been applied to the class X3 SMAN 14 Pekanbaru can be improve the self-efficacy of the students in the learning of physics.Key Words : TANDUR strategies, self-efficacy, temperature and heat.

Abstract

Abstract: The research aimed to describe and find out the improvement of students interest learning by applying creative problem solving (CPS) model. The research used quasi experimental model, with nonequivalent control group design. The subject are 70 students of class X SMAN 1 Tambusai Utara, divide into experiment class and control class. Data of the research is score of interest before and after applying creative problem solving model with descriptive and inferential analysis. Analysis of the increase of interest learning analyzed was used normalized gain (N-Gain) and t-test. The descriptive analysis of interest learning’s post test experiment class shows that N-Gain was 0.35 in medium category and control class was 0.2 in lower category. This proved by inferential analysis, the analyzed shows t(68) = 2.079 p = 0.041 means p < 0.05, then Ho is rejected. Which means that there are difference in interest of learning between experiment class and control class. It can therefore be concluded that the implementation of creative problem solving model can be increase the interest of learning in SMAN 1 Tambusai Utara.Key Words: Creative Problem Solving (CPS), Student Interest Learning, Dynamic Electrical

Abstract

Abstract: The problem of monotony still learning and using old teaching methods make the ability of mastering the concept of material and learning outcomes grade VII MTS Muhammadiyah Java Chart low. In order to encourage students to improve mastery of the concept of matter in the process of learning, the learning model used Discovery Learning. This research aims to improve the learning results of IPA students learning model with the application of Discovery Learning Class VII MTS Muhammadiyah Bagan Jawa Year 2015/2016 Lessons. This research was conducted in February and April 2016. This type of research this is a class action Research (PTK) held as much as 2 cycle. The subject of research is the grade VII MTS Java Chart Muhammadiyah that add up to 28 people. Parameters measured were the result of student learning that consists of absorption and learning of classical as well as the attitudes and skills of students in learning. Based on the results of the research the average absorbance value of Deuteronomy on the cycle I is 76.43 (good) and cycle II of deuteronomy daily increased to was 82.50 (both). Students learn classical on cycle I namely 85.71% with an average score of 87.15 and cycle II increased to 96.42% with the average value of 80.18. The attitude of students in cycle I, namely 76.68 (good) increased in cycle II becomes 92.65 (very good). The skills of students in cycle I, namely 76.04 (good) increased in cycle II becomes 83.04 (good). From the results it can be concluded that the application of Discovery Learning Learning Model can improve the results of studying biology Grade VII MTS Muhammadiyah Bagan Jawa Year 2015/2016 Lessons.Keywords: model of learning, discovery learning, the learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to design and build a educational media of learning physics are valid uses Augmented Reality technology in the kinetic theory of gases for senior high school grade XI. This research was research and Development (R & D) using instructional design type ADDIE includes the step of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluating. Sources of data in this study is the assessment of data provided by the validity of the 6 validator, consisting of three lecturers and three teachers. Aspects assessed include designing, pedagogic, learning content and ease of use. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. The final result of media validation assessment of all aspects of learning physics had validity value of 3.55 with a very high category. Based on these results, we can conclude that the media of learning physics using Augmented Reality technology in the kinetic theory of gases for a high school grade XI declared valid categorized as very high, so that used in the process of learning and teaching.Keywords: Education Media, Augmented Reality, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Validation

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analize the interactive multimedia in physics learning empirically. The approach used in this study is research and development (R&D) with instructional design model, ADDIE. Data were collected through the questionnaires. Respondents of this research were from teachers and students, teacher as an expert user while student as a user. The data of instrument were analyzed using product moment SPSS and Ms. Excel. The highest validity score of each teacher as expert and student as user is 0,821 & 0,776 while the reliability score each is 0,955 & 0,906. The results of this research indicate that the interactive multimedia is valid and reliable.Key Words: Empirical Analysis, Interactive Multimedia, Lectora Inspire, ADDIE, Validity test, Reliability test

Abstract

Abstrack: This research aimed to describe the effectiveness and improvement of the students formal reasoning by applying guide inquiri learning model at MTsN Naumbai Kampar. Type of this research is a quasi-experimental, with Intact Group Comparisson design. The subject is students class VIII A as experimental class and class VIII B as control class. The data in this research is a score posttest of formal reasoning learning outcome and analysis with descriptive and inferensial analysis. The analysis of data showed absortion of student in the experiment class is higher than the control class on each indicator of formal reasoning. The absorption and learning effectiveness in class experiment is 77,50 with good and effective categori. Result of inferensial analysis using two independent sample t-test, the significant is 0,000, because p < 0.05, then the hypothesis rejected, so there are significant differences between the formal reasoning of students in the experimental class by applying guided inquiry learning model with the control class that implements conventional learning at class VIII MTsN Naumbai Kampar with a level of trust 95 % .With thus be concluded that the application of guided inquiry learning model effectively and can increasing the formal reasoning of students at class VIII MTsNNaumbai Kampar.Key words: Guided Inquiry, Formal Reasoning, Efectiveness

Abstract

Abstract: The world of plants (Plantae) is one of the subjects Biology class X is quite difficult. Since the number of division or classification of the plant world (Plantae) is. To be able to classify the necessary knowledge of general characteristics, structure and function of the body, the way of life and habitats as well as the mode of reproduction of these plants that were studied in detail. The purpose of this research is to increase understanding and knowledge of students about the world of plants (Plantae). This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Biology Department of the University of Riau PMIPA FKIP and SMAN 1 Pekanbaru in March to June 2016. The research is a research development by using ADDIE model of integration to the stage of development. There are 5 LKPD developed. Instruments of data collection in this study is the assessment sheet/validation LKPD, and questionnaire responses of learners. After LKPD developed, validated by 4 validator then the tests I in the 4th semester 20 students of biology education FKIP UR, and a second trial on 20 students of Class X SMAN 1 Pekanbaru. The tests showed the average score feasibility aspects of the content of 5 LKPD developed very valid category is 4.25, the average score 4.04 categories designing aspect is valid, and the mean score of the pedagogic aspect is 4.00 valid category. The mean overall score of the fifth aspect is 4.10 LKPD valid category. I trial results showed the average score 4.28 with very good category. II trial results showed a mean score of 3.73 in both categories. The results of the analysis of the answers to the first trial showed a mean value of 86 in both categories. LKPD Scientific Approach Based on Material World of Plants (Plantae) can increase the understanding and knowledge about the world of plants (Plantae) and can increase critical thinking ability of learners.Key Words: development, LKPD, Scientific Approach, Critical Thinking, World of Plants (Plantae)
