Abstract

Abstract: This research is a descriptive research that aims to produce learning module for students class x hight school. The subject of this research is competency the basis (KD) 3.2 hight school class x : the analyze various levels of biodiversity in Indonesia along with the threat preservation. Research conducted at FKIP Riau University and SMAN 1 XIII Koto Kampar in September to November 2017. This research is a development research with ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) and just made to the stage of development. Data collection begins with local biodiversity observations of spesies (plant and animals), which are widely present around student learning environments, including the diversity of gene, species, and coomunitas/ecosystem levels. Data observations biodiversity based local potential will be used to design a learning modules biodiversity. Further data was collected by the validation and trial. Validation aims to see useful module from expert opinion in the field of material of the existing in learning modules. While the trial aims to see useful module to analyze the questionnaire students’ responses. Data obtained from the analysysis of the results obtained a score all modules obtain an average score 4.33 by category is invalid. Consists of aspects of the content presented obtain an average 4.46 by category very valid, aspacts of the languege obtained averange score of 4.23 by category very valid, and aspacts graphics design obtain ab average score of 4.33 by category is invalid. Average value response 20 students to the module developed on learning 1 is 4.24, learning 2 average score of 4.20, and at the learning modules 3 ie with an average score of 4.24 by category very good.Keywords: Research Development, Learning Modules, Biodiversity Potential Local.

Abstract

Abstract: The background of the problem in this research was conducted because of the low of IPS learning result of fourth grader of SD Negeri 015 Banjar XII, with the average of 58,8 class. The formulation of the problem "Is the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) can improve the learning outcomes of IPS fourth graders Elementary School 015 Banjar XII Tanah Putih District?". This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of IPS fourth grade students of Elementary School 015 Banjar XII Tanah Putih sub-district by applying the model of Problem Based Learning (PBL). This research is a classroom action research that uses several stages of action implementation consisting of two cycles. In this study each cycle consists of 3x meetings consisting of 2 (two) times the material and 1 (one) time Final Exam. The problem studied in this research is the problem of learning. Each cycle in this research is carried out in four stages: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) Observation, (4) Reflection. This research was conducted on March 14, 2017 until April 19, 2017. The subjects of this study are the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 015 Banjar XII with 25 students, 9 male students and 16 female students. The instrument of data collection in this thesis is observation sheet of teacher and student activity and learning result based on Daily Deuteronomy. The result of research of teacher activity in learning process at first cycle of first meeting was got the average value of 65% and the second meeting increased to 75.00%. In the second cycle of the first meeting 85.00% and the second meeting increased to 90.00%. Results of data analysis of student activity on first cycle of first meeting 60.00% and second meeting increased to 70.00%. In the second cycle of the first meeting 75.00% and the second meeting increased to 80.00%. Based on the results of data analysis, the average learning outcomes before the action is an average of 58.8 (less categories). After the action increases in cycle I with average to 67.2 (enough category). In the second cycle increased by an average of 77 (good category). Means that the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL)can improve the learning outcomes of IPS fourth graders Elementary School 015 Banjar XII Tanah Putih subdistrict.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, IPS Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is low of mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII4 of 22 Junior High School Pekanbaru in second semester of the 2016/2017 academic year. Subject of this research are 38 students, consist of 19 male and 19 female student with heterogenous level of academic capabilities. The type of this research is the Classroom Action Research that has purpose to improve the learning proses and to increase student’s mathematic learning outcomes by applied the cooperative learning with Talking Stick Type. This research consists of two cycles that each cycle composed of 4 stages, such as planning, implementation, observation and reflection. At every end of a cycle, math achievement test will be held. The research instrument consists of learning devices that involve Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Worksheet, and instrument data collector that involve the observation sheet and math achievement test. Observation sheets is analyzed by narrative descriptive analysis and math achievement test analyzed by statistic descriptive analysis. The result of the research showed that implementation of learning process on cycle II had happened improvement from implementation on cycle I. Weakness on cycle I is improved on implementation cycle II according with planning of improvement after reflection cycle I. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to daily test II. The number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic scor, daily test I and daily test II are respectively 18 person (47,36%), 23 person (60,52%) and 30 person (78,94%). Results of this research indicates that application of Cooperative Learning with Talking Stick Type can improve learning process and increase mathematics learning outcomes from the students of class VIII4 of 22 Junior High School Pekanbaru in second semester of the 2016/2017 academic year at Basic Competencies 5.3 Calculates the surface area and volume of the Beam, Cube, Prism and Pyramid.Key Words: Cooperative Learning, Talking Stick Type, Learning Process, Student Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the character values in terms of education and parents’s work of students of junior high school. This research is based on descriptive analysis and questionnaire is used as tools with respect to data gathering purpose. Total sample is 186 students and collected by using random technique. The collected data are then analyzed according to descriptive analysis scheme in form percentage. Result shows that the education level of Father and Mother graduated / did not graduate. The graduate showed a better proportion of character values compared to the level of education of Father and Mother graduated from college, graduated from high school, graduated / did not finish junior high school, and Graduated / did not finish primary school. Judging from the type of work Dad shows that the type of Dad's job as a civil servant shows a better proportion of character values than the job type of Father as a private employee / employee, educator, retired, TNI / Polri, self-employed, farmer, and trader. While the type of work of Mother as a private employee / employee shows the proportion of character values better than the type of work of the mother as educators, civil servants, IRT, entrepreneurs, and traders.Keywords : character values, level of education, type of work

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the existence of a custom ceremony to enter the tribe in the Village Of Sungai Pinang Pujud District Rokan Hilir Regency. Where every community of immigrants who want to establish a marriage with the children of bujang or virgin In Sungai Pinang Village or the community of immigrants who want to settle in sungai pinang village must carry out custom ceremonies enter the tribe with the requirements that have been determined by Ninik Mamak, through this traditional ceremony then the immigrant community can be part of the local community or part of the tribe. The formulations of the problem in this study is how are the custom ceremony procedures to enter the tribe Sungai Pinang Village Pujud District Rokan Hilir Regency and whay the immigrant community is interested to enter the tribe in Sungai Pinang Village Pujud District Rokan Hilir Regency. The objectives of this study are to describe the procedures of traditional ceremonies entered the tribe and to find out the reason for the immigrant community interested to enter the tribe in the Sungai Pinang Village District Pujud Rokan Hilir Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study is an observation, interview, documentation and triangulation. Data analysis techniques used is data reduction, display data and verify. The findings in this research are Sungai Pinang Village people have a culture that is a custom ceremony to enter the tribe whose procedure covers. 1) Stages before the entry of the tribe is looking for adoptive parents, collection of Ninik Mamak, prepare a dish of goat curry and turmeric rice or yellow rice complete with grilled chicken, 2) phase of the ceremonial entrance that is chewing betel nut one quarter of a drop, make oral statements, submit johor set of clothes, black skull cap and sarong 2 pieces and even money 1 iya (RP. 50.000) to Ninik Mamak, the wage salaries, direction and advice and the last prayer. 3) stages after the implementation of traditional ceremonies are entering the tribe that is not allowed to enter or ride into another tribe and as for the reason the immigrant is interested to enter the tribe includes wanting to marry, gain the protection of the desire to live worthy and to be unfamiliar and the desire to gain recognition from the local community.Keywords : Adat, Enter The Tribe

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the research to know the level of mastery of Japanese vocabulary of students before and after aplied thematic dominoes game techniques. This research used quasi experimental research with pretest posttest control group design. The object of this research is 20 students of experimental class and 20 students of control class. Data collection was performed by giving test. The given test was 25 items. The writer applies two tests, they are pretest and posttest. Pretest is given before the students are taught by implementing thematic dominoes game techniques, and posttest is given after the students are taught with implementing thematic dominoes game techniques. On average pretest results obtained by the experimental class students was 45,4 and at posttest increased by 37 into 82,4. While, On average pretest results obtained by the control class students was 44,3 and at posttest increased by 15,3 into 59,6. So there is a significant impact with application of thematic dominoes game techniques on the learning Japanese vocabulary of elevanth grade students at SMA N 9 Pekanbaru. Thus, it can be concluded that thematic dominoes game techniques was effective in the on the learning Japanese vocabulary.Keywords: Thematic Dominoes, Japanese Vocabulary

Abstract

Abstract : In era globalization era, poem is not interested by students when learning Indonesian language at the class. it is because of many things with modern technology which is make students ignore to understanding poem , performance of poem and practice to write poem. Consequently researcher conducted this research toward fifth grade students of SD An Namiroh pusat pekanbaru to describe of students’ writing ability about poem. The population of research is all of fifth grade students SD An Namiroh Pekanbaru. The sample of this research was 140 students of fifth grade of SD An Namiroh Pekanbaru. The research has given essay test to measure their writing ability. Score of determining is with conversion score formula.Analysis of writing ability with average score formula. Poem analyzed based on four aspects. They are the number of lines in the stanza, the number of syllables each lines, poetry and content. Based on result of data analysis, students’ writing ability about poem which less category, there are 35 students or 25% of sample, the average category , there are 20 students or 20 or 14,3 %of sample, the good category is 21 students or 15% of sample, the excellent category is 64 students or 45,7% of sample. Therefore, based on the data above, in conclusion students’ writing ability of poem at Fifth grade of SD An namiroh pekanbaru is 78 score or average category.Key Word : Writing ability , Poem

Abstract

Abstrack: The students’ career planning can be increased by the guidance services group. This study aims to reveal the students career planning before implementation guidance services group. To know the process of implementation of guidance services group to the student career planning. To describe the students career planning implemented after guidance services group. To determine differences in students career planning implemented before the after guidance services group. To find out how much influence the guidance services group to students career planning. In this study, using a pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were students of class X MIA 3 and class X IIS 2 SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru academic year 2014/2015 totaling 30 students. To distinguish the career planning of students before and after using the test guidance services group 't' and obtained prices t_count greater than the price of t_tables at 5% level (10.93> 2,000). Thus, Ho is rejected and Ha accepted which means this study there are significant differences between students career planning before and after the service conducted group guidance class X SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru. Then the results of the test product moment r = 0.54 and coefficient determinant = 0.29. Based on the results of research conducted it can be concluded that once implemented guidance services group on career planning for college students in class X SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru increased by 29%.Keywords: Guidance Services Group, Career Planning

Abstract

 Abstract: The problems raised in this research is that the athlete’s speed is still below average, this can be comprehended from various experiments and in both of friendly and official match; which become one of the losing factors.The type of the research is experimental research that aimed to perceive the impact of the exercises form. The purpose of the research is to acknowledge the influence of skipping exercise on the speed of table tennis man’s team in Physical Education High School, Riau Province. The population in the research is the team of Table Tennis Team in SMA NegeriOlahraga, Riau Province, in which there are 6 persons in the team.The technique of taking the sample is by using total sampling; where the total amount of the population is becoming the sample. The instrument in the research utilizes sprinting test in 50 meter distance as a means to measure the speed.The analysis is conducted by using test-t. Based on the data of the analysis and discussion, it proves that Tcountin the amount of 2.876 and Ttable 2.015. It means that Tcount>Ttable. on the level ɑ=0,05. As the result, it can inferred that there is a significant influence on the skipping exercise on the speed of table tennis man’s team in SMA NegeriOlahraga, Riau Province. Key Words: Skipping Speed, Table Tennis

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to improve the activity and mastery learning students on the material elements of class X.10 Senior High School of class X.10. This form of research is the Research Action Class . The study was conducted collaboratively, where researchers and teachers cooperate at this stage of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The implementation of the actions carried out by teachers, while a researcher as an observer. The research subject is class X.10 SMA Negeri 2 Tambang year 2016/2017 which amounted to 37 students, consisting of 17 male students and 20 female students. The research results obtained are the use of Uno Card games as the Chemo-Edutinment media can improve the learning activities of students of class X.10 SMA Negeri 2 Tambang with the percentage average cycle I of 70,57% and 85,89% for the second cycle. The use of Uno Card games as the Chemo-Edutainment media can improve learning completeness students in class X.10 of SMA Negeri 2 Tambang with the percentage amounted to 91,90% the first cycle and the second cycle of 100%.
