Abstract

Abstract: This research was based on the students’ achievement in learning mathematics especially grade IX.4 of SMPN 21 Pekanbaru under the Mastery Minimum Criteria with percentage of 27,77%. The subject of basic competence were about triangle. The teacher-centered learning was still used to teach materials during the learning process. The research conducted was the Classroom Action Research. The aims of this research is to improve the learning process and results on the students learning mathematic by implementing cooperative learning model structural approach of Think Pair Square. There were 36 students in the class consisting 13 boys and 23 girls as the participant of this research. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students’ Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative desciptive. The qualitative desciptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning Mathematic from the basic score with percentage 27,77% to 36,11% on the first test and 50% on second test. Based on the result of this research could be concluded that the implementation of Cooperative Learning Model structural approach of Think Pair Square can improve the students’ achievement of learning Mathematic in grade IX.4 of SMPN 21 Pekanbaru in the first semester academic years 2014/2015. Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is a learning process and mathematics achievementare not optimal in the class VIII5 SMP 29 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2013/2014.The research was classroom action research to improve learning process and mathematicsachievementwith applied the cooperative learning think pair square structural approach. This research consist of two cycles, and at the end of every cycle carried out mathematics achievement test. Data collected through observation and mathematicsachievement test.Analysis data of observation was performed with narrative descriptive analysis and analysis data of mathematicsachievement was performed with descriptive statistical analysis. Result of this research showed an increase in students from the base score with the percentage 12% to 67% on the first test and 60% on the second test. Results of this research indicates that the cooperative learning think pair square structural approachcan improvelearning process and studentsmathematicsachievement math class VIII5 SMPN29 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the low student’s academic skills in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru, one of the learning that can be applied to improve the academic skill is guided inquiry approach because it can elaborate scientific thinking dan creativity. This research had been done in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru on October 2014 until January 2015 that purpose to know the enhancement of academic skill in guided inquiry approach. . The design of the research is Pre-experimental design form one group pretest-posttest with the subject is X4 class. Based of the results obtained that the academic skills  have increased after the implementation of guided inquiry approach, it is identifying variabels, making hypotheses, planning and doing experiment, based of analyses each meeting have increased. In general the indicator academic skill is obtained normalized gain in the middle category, with the result is the implementation of guided inquiry approach is effective to increase student’s academic skill in class X SMA Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru Key Words :           academic skills, inquiry

Abstract

Abstract :The purpose of this research is to describe the results of cognitive learning physicsstudents through the application of metacognitive strategy in optics tool material. The subjects are the student’s of MTs Hayatul Islamiyah class VIII in academic year 2013/2014. Data collection instrument in this research is the cognitive achievement test which consists of test items totaling 15 points multiple choice questions. Analysis of the data in this research is a descriptive analysis to see an overview of cognitive learning result of students using the criteria of absorption, the effectiveness of learning, mastery of learning students and mastery of the objective of learning. From the analysis of data showed: the average absorption is 76,05% with the category of good, the average of effectiveness learning is 76,05% with the category is effective, mastery of learning students is 59,26 % and mastery of the objective of learning is 73,33%. To sum up learning using the application of metacognitive strategy in optics tool material of class VIII MTs Hayatul Islamiyah Pangean could provide positive effect to their absorption. Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementation of physics learning by multiple representation through practicing students’ science process skills in lesson Newton’s law in class X IPA1 MAN 1 Pekanbaru. The subjects were students of class X IPA1 totalling 29 students, consisting of 8 male students and 21 female students. The instrument of data collection in this study is the process skills test consists of 8 essay questions. Analysis of the data in this study is a descriptive analysis to see an overview of the results of the students' learning skills by using the criteria of absorption, the effectiveness of learning, and students’ learning completeness. The analysis of the data showed: absorption class average is 81.68% with a good category, otherwise learning effectiveness declared in effective way, then completeness of learning’s students classically worth 86.21% and declared complete, completeness of lesson by 75% and declared incomplete. Nevertheless, it can be concluded that implementation of physics learning by multi representation is could be used in learning process class X IPA1 MAN 1 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas dari nilai reabilitas, validitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda, tingkat distaktornya dan sebaran butir soal try out fisika kelas XII SMA Negeri se-Kota Pekanbaru menggunakan program analisis butir soal. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah lembar jawaban objektif soal try out siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah program analisis butir soal. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis butir soal. Dari analisis data menunjukkan : validitas soal hanya 28 soal (70%) yang valid dari 40 butir soal dan reabilitas tes 0.86. Hasil analisis data ini menunjukkan bahwa soal tidak valid tetapi realibel. Dengan demikian, kualitas soal try out harus lebih ditingkatkan. Key Words : Analisis Kualitas Butir Soal, Program Analisis Butir Soal

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to determine the increase attitudes toward science of students in physics learning by the implementation of guided inquiry approach in class X IPA4 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The subjects are students of class X IPA4. This class has fewer than 35 students, consists of 13 male students and 22 female students. The data collection instrument in this study is questionnaire of attitudes towards science which consists of 24 statements. Analysis of the data in this study is a descriptive analysis using the Gain (increase). If G>0.3, so the attitudes towards science of student is increase by the implementation of guided inquiry approach. The results showed: Gain attitudes towards science of students on aspects of interest in the science of 0.15 with a low category, aspects of science and learning activities of 0.17 with a low category, the importance of science aspects of 0.20 with a low category, and environmental aspects of the view science of 0.18 with a lower category. So that the average gain attitudes toward science of students in the amount of 0.18 to a low category. Application of guided inquiry approach the material and application of Newton's laws have low gain to improve  attitudes toward science of students in class X SMA Muhammadiyah 1 pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract : This study aimed to describe and know that through the implementation of cooperative models Numbered Head Together (NHT) can increase students' interest in science learning in the classroom physics VIIIB MTs Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru on the material pressure. Research subjects in this study were all students in grade VIIIB MTs Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru 2014/2015 school year as many as 23 students. The research design is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The technique of collecting data is questionnaires and documentation techniques, data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis was obtained: 1) The interest of student learning in class VIIIB MTs Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru with the implementation of the cooperative model NHT in physics science learning is increased. 2) There is a change of physics students 'interest in science learning in the material pressure for 11.60% by using the implementation of the cooperative model NHT VIIIB class Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru, and inferential analysis results obtained are significant increase students' interest in science learning physics through the implementation of the cooperative model NHT VIIIB class MTs Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract: This research was intended to describe the results cognitive learning physical science of students by using cooperative model Type Numbered Head Together in physics learning for subject matter of pressure. Type of research is Pre-Experiment by The One-Shot Case Study design. That conducted a research toward of 23 students in grade VIIIB MTs Diniyah Putri Pekanbaru 2014/2015 school year. The instrument of the research was the results of cognitive learning test that given after learning and analyzed descriptively. The result descriptive showed absorptive capacity of the average students was 80,09 % in good category, learning affectiveness was 80,09 % in effective category, completeness learning students in classical was 73,91 % in incomplete category, completeness in classical indicators was 73,68 % in incomplete category. The result showed that implementation of cooperative model Type Numbered Head Together can improved liveliness in gruop and give good result of cognitive learning students in  individual  in physical science. Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the relationship between perceptions of classroom climate with interesting in learning physics. The samples in this study come from the population eleventh grade of science high school Se-District of Tualang. This research technique using proportionate cluster random sampling that is used when the population consists of groups or individuals. Data collection methods used in this studying using a instrument of class perceptions of climate and interest in learning physics. The data obtained were further analyzed using pearson product moment corelation technique. Data analysis conducted shows that there is relationship between the perception of the class climate interest physics to learn. This is shown by the magnitude of the correlation coefficient (r) variable 0,75 and thitung> ttabelvariable 4,059>1,67. This results of this study stated that the hypothesis is high category, interest in learning physics variable (2,73) and perception of the class climate variable (2,82).
