Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of research were to improve student’s study result of social sciences by implementation cooperative learning Scramble type.The background of the problem in this research was the poor students’ achievements in social sciences, it can be seen on students’ social sciences scores. There were 20 of 35 students who had not achieved the Achievement Standard (57,14%), while the ones who achieved were only 15 students (42,85%), and the average scores of the class was 64,42. The Achievement Standard that school determines is 70. The method of research was classroom action research implemented in two cycles that consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected by observation technigue, test technigue and documentary technigue. The instrument of data collection used observation sheet and test student’s result . At the first meeting in cycle I, the percentage of teachers’ activity was 62.50% which is categorized as good. At the second meeting, the percentage increased to 75.00% which is categorized as good. At the first meeting in cycle I, the percentage increased to 87.50% that is categorized as very good. At the second meeting the percentage increased to 95.83% which is categorized as very good. The students’ activities had increased. At the first meeting in cycle I, the students’ activities gained 58.33% which is categorized as enough, while at the second meeting in cycle I the students’ activities gained 70.83% which is categorized as good.At the first meeting of cycle II, the percentage increased to 83.33% that is categorized as very good, while at the second meeting the percentage increased to 91.67% which is categorized as very good. The average of students’ achievements before the implementation cooperative learning student facilitator and explaining type was 64,42 which increased to 73,57 in cycle I, and increased again to 84,14 in cycle II. The result of research showed that implementation cooperative learning Scramble type can improve student’s result of social sciences.Key Words: Study Result,Cooperative Learning Scramble Type, social sciences

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is that the ability of Driblling Basketball is still low. It can be seen from various matches and it is one of the factor the team lost at several matches. This type of research is a type of experimental research which aims to see the effect of the form of training. The population in this research is the male basketball team of SMP N 6 Pekanbaru, which are 12 people. The sampling technique is by using total sampling, where all the total population is sampled. The purpose of this research is to look at the effect of berating dribbling exercises on the dribble ability Male Basketball Team of SMPN 6 Pekanbaru. The Data collection techniques obtained from the pre-test and post test. The instrument in this research used the Dribbling Test as a tool to measure the ability of Dribbling the ball. The analysis is carried out using the t-test. Based on the data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the Dribbling Excercise toward the dribbling ability on the Male Basketball Team at SMPN 6 Pekanbaru. It is shown that by T count of 7.8 and T table 1.79. Means T count > T table. At the level of ɑ = 0.05.Keywords : Beranting Dribbling, Dribble , Dribbling Test

Abstract

Abstrak: This research is a classroom study that is motivated by the low learning outcomes of the students PKN whose average class is still at 72.64, while the completion standard that is in grade IV SD Negeri 3 Rhu Bay is 70. Of the 25 students only 12 people are completed while 13 others have not been completed. This study was conducted in two cycles, carried out in even semester 2016/2017. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of third grade students of SD Negeri 3 Teluk Rhu by applying Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning approach. The TAI learning approach is a learning model that encourages students to discover the concepts of learning by working in groups. The instrument of this study consists of. The study was conducted from March 2016 to May 2017. Research data were analyzed using MS.Excel including teacher activity data and student activity and student learning result data. Data analysis of teacher activity and student activity on observation result done by observer during action implementation. Results of data analysis of student learning outcomes performed after the implementation of daily repetition cycle I and cycle II. Based on the results of the observer observation of teacher activity and student activity always increases in each cycle. In the first cycle only reached 54.17%, in the second cycle increased to 83.33% while in the student activity on the first cycle only 41.67%, in the second cycle increased to 87.50%. Student learning outcomes also experienced an increase as follows, the basic skoe was 72.64 which then increased in cycle II to 79.60 with an increase of 9.58%. Completeness of student learning outcomes on a basic score of only 12 people, in cycle II all students complete. This shows that cooperative learning type TAI can improve the learning outcomes of third grade students of SD Negeri 3 Teluk Rhu.Keywords: Cooperative type TAI, PKN Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This study is aimed to describe the level of the students’ ability at English Study Program of FKIP of University of Riau in determining theme and plot in reading short stories. The design of this research is descriptive research, which has one variable to observe. This research used quantitative data, where the students were assessed by their score. To determine the sample, this research used cluster random sampling technique. The population of this research was the sixth semester students of English study program of FKIP of Riau University in the academic year 2016/2017. The total number of population was 70 students. There were 25 sixth semester students chosen as the samples of this research. The instruments of the research were 30 multiple choice questions. In collecting the data this research used written test. There were 10 questions given to the students in each short stories and had to be done in 90 minutes. All of the short stories are taken from a number of short stories. Based on the result of the research, there was 1 student (4%) in excellent ability level, 6 students (24%) who were in good ability level, 13 students (52%) who were in mediocre level. Then, there were 3 students (12%) who were in poor level and 2 students (8%) who were in very poor level. In other words, the sixth semester students of English study program of FKIP of University of Riau ability level are categorized in mediocre level. Moreover, from the result found, the students’ ability is in mediocre level with the mean score 53.54.Key words: student, ability, short story, theme, plot

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the shortage of jobs in the village of Perawang, especially for housewives who usually do not work and sit alone at home without earning money to meet the needs of their families, and the large amount of plastic waste produced by Indah Kiat point . The purpose of this study was to determine community empowerment by PT management. Indah Kiat at Perawang Village, Siak Regency This type of research is descriptive naturalistic with a qualitative approach. The process of data collection is carried out by interviewing 6 research themes, namely 3 key informants, 2 control people and 1 observer informant including documentation. Based on the results of interviews, the researchers found 4 indicators, namely: (1) Planning, (2) Organizing, (3) Implementation, (4) Supervision. The study of the 4 indicators is very useful to understand how communities can be optimally encouraged by plastic waste management to help people find jobs, expertise and a place to make money so that they can meet their daily needs.Key Words: Empowerment, Management, Plastic Waste

Abstract

Abstract: The research objective was to determine the use of fun cooking in enhancing the ability to recognize shapes of geometry in children aged 4-5 years in early childhood - IT Bunayya Pekanbaru, to improve the ability to recognize shapes of geometry in children aged 4-5 years through fun cooking activity in early childhood - IT Bunayya Pekanbaru, To find an increase in the ability to recognize shapes of geometry in children aged 4-5 years through fun cooking activity in early childhood - IT Bunayya Pekanbaru. Based on the results of a classroom action research that has been done, it can be concluded that the ability to know the geometry of children aged 4-5 years in early childhood-IT Bunayya increased in each cycle. This is evident from the acquisition value of the average pre-Cycle 44.58%, 54.44% the first cycle, and the second cycle 80.55%, Implementation fun cooking activities conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of three meetings, Improved ability to recognize geometric shapes from the pre cycle to cycle II increased by 80.68%Key Word: Geometric Shapes, Fun Cooking

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims is know the effect of secure attachment to theindependence of young children in TK Pekanbaru City. The population in this study was32 early childhood. The sampling technique is saturated by means of nonprobabilitysampling. Survey method with correlation techniques to see the secure attachmentvariable with the independence variable. Observation data collection techniques usingobservation sheets. The data analysis technique uses correlation test with SPSS forWindows ver. 23. The results of the study show that the safety of early childhood is inthe sufficient category with a value of 68.8% and the independence of early childhood is in the sufficient category with a value of 62.5%. Based on the hypothesis test obtained there is a positive relationship and significance between secure attachment with the independence of young children in kindergarten Mutiara Kota Pekanbaru. This is known from the value of the correlation coefficient of rxy = 0.678 and the significance level of 0.000 <0.05. The level of influence of secure attachment with independence is included in the strong category with the resulting coefficient of determination of 45.9%, meaning secure attachment gives an effect of 45.9% of independence.Key Words : Secure Attachment, Independence,Children.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was the speaking ability of male and female students of SMAN 2 Bangkinang in describing pictures.The aim of this research was to know the differences between speaking ability of male and female students of SMAN 2 Bangkinang in describing pictures.The population of this research is the second grade of SMAN 2 Bangkinang. The data were collected by administring the speaking test to 23 male students and 23 female students who were selected by using proportional random sampling method. In conducting this research, there were 4 different pictures which used to know the students’ speaking ability in describing pictures based on five aspects: pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. To get the quantitative data in this research, the three raters were involved to give the scores of students’ speaking ability. From the result of the speaking test in five aspects of speaking ability, the writer concluded that there are differences between speaking ability of male and female students of SMAN 2 Bangkinang in describing pictures. However, the difference between male students and female students is significant. It is convinced by the statistical result of the hypothesis test. The test by means of t-test formula shown that t calculated = 5,18 > ttable = 2,015 at 95% level of significance by 44 degrees of freedom

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the fact that the learning outcomes of students in science subjects has not been optimal. Based on initial observations that researchers do dikatahui that only 50% or 10 of the total 20 students who received grades above KKM, while 50% or 10 out of 20 students expressed an incomplete or gain value is still below the KKM. This research is a classroom action research conducted in Class IV SD Muhammadiyah 002 Alam Panjang. Research instruments consisted of a Learning Tool used in this research is guided by the Education Unit Level Curriculum (SBC), known as Curriculum 2006 learning device consists of a syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets and observation sheet. The first meeting of the cycle to the first activity that teachers are only 50% to the category of "pretty perfect" at the meeting to 2 with the percentage of 59% in the category "simply perfect". At a meeting of all three activities that teachers do 70% to the category of "perfect" while in attendance to 4 activities that teachers do 79% also in the category of "perfect". Based on data analysis of student activity first meeting sikuls I average student activity 54% with the classification of "High Enough" at the second meeting of the average activity increased to 62% with the classification of "High Enough" At the third meeting of the second cycle the average student activity 75 % on the classification of "High" and the fourth meeting increased compared with the previous meetings by an average of 83% of student activity with the classification of "Very High". The first cycle, it is known that the number of students who reached the KKM is 15 students (75%) of 20 students. That is an increase of student learning outcomes IPA base score. Cycle II, the number of students who reached the KKM amounted to 17 (85%) of 20 students, improving student learning outcomes in the first cycle reached (33%) and in cycle II to be increased to reach (41%) Keywords: cooperative learning model make a match, the result of learning science

Abstract

Abstract. This Research aim to to increase result of learning IPA class V SD Country student 013 Pekanbaru Teaching Year 2011/2012 through concept map Approach Applying. Subjek Research [is] class V SD Country student 013 Pekanbaru with student amount as much 32 people, consisted 19 men student people and 13 woman student people. This research Class Action Research consisted of 2 cycle. Cycle I consisted of 2 times the meeting by 1 daily restating times;rill, cycle to II consisted of 2 times the meeting by 1 [is] daily restating times;rill. Research instrument cover study peripheral ( Syllabus, RPP, LKS, Sheet Tes result of learning), sheet observation teacher activity and student activity. Data result of research analysed descriptively. Research data indicate that result learn student experience of improvement, before conducted action from 32 student people only as much 18 student people ( 56,25%) obtaining daily restating value above or [is] equal to Complete Criterion Minimize ( KKM). While as much 14 student people ( 43.75%) still below/under KKM. After conducted action [at] cycle I as much 81.25% student obtain;get daily restating value above KKM or equal to KKM, cycle to II as much 93.75% student obtain;get daily restating value above KKM. Student Activity [of] during Cycle I mean study process 80,34% with good category, and Cycle II mean 91,07 categorized Very Whether. From above clarification indicate that through concept map approach applying can improve result learn class V SD Country student mathematics 013 Pekanbaru, universe and earth itemsKeyword: Map Konsep,Hasil Approach Learn IPA1
