<![CDATA[Abstract: This research was designed to investigate whether there is a significant effect of using Read Encode Annotate Ponder strategy on reading comprehension of narrative text of the first year students of SMAN 1 Tebing Tinggi Timur Meranti. This research took place at SMAN 1 Tebing Tinggi Timur Meranti from April to june 2017. The sample was 40 students from X.2 Social that took by using cluster sampling technique. The test containing 40 items was used to collect the data. The technique of data analysis was paired sample t-test. The research findings found that there was a significant difference of students’ reading comprehension on narrative text after being taught through Read Encode Annotate Ponder strategy. Based on the data analysis, it was found that t-test (7.051)was bigger than t-table (2.023). <![CDATA[Abstract : This classroom action research was aimed to know whether information gap activities can improve the students’ speaking skill of the second grade class VIII-4 of SMPN 13 Pekanbaru. This research was done in for times-treatments in one cycle. Thirty nine students were participated in this study. The data were collected from several sources; students’ speaking score, observation sheets, and field notes. The result showed that the mean score of post-test (71.8) was higher than mean score of pre-test (36). The observation result also showed that the there was an increase number of students’ participation in every single activity. We can see that there was an increasing average number from beingin the pre-test 80% and become 100%. It means that more than all of the students were active in teaching and learning process. It can be conclude that information gap activities can improve the students’ speaking skill of the second grade class VIII-4 of SMPN 13 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Speaking Skill, Information Gap Activities]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This research is based on the low learning outcomes of science subject "ilmu pengetahuan alam (IPA)” of students grade 5th of SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru, with grade average 61.38, while the minimum exhaustiveness criteria "kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM)” for IPA is 75. Among 36 students, only 14 students who reached KKM with 38.88% classical completeness. This research is type of classroom action research "penelitian tindakan kelas" (PTK) which aimed to improve IPA learning outcomes of students grade 5th of SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru, by implementing problem based learning model(PBL). Collection data conducted by observation sheet of teachers activity and students activity also the learning result. The average of IPA learning outcomes obtained by students before action is 61.38, increased to 74.30 in the first cycle with the percentage increase of 21.04%. In the second cycle increased to 81.23 with a percentage increase of 32.33%. Teacher activity in the first cycle of the first meeting obtained a score of 13 (65%) with sufficient category and at the second meeting obtained a score of 16 (80%) with a good category. On the second cycle of the first meeting scores obtained are 17 (85%) with a good category and the second meeting obtained a score of 18 (90%) with a very good category. Student activity on the first cycle of first meeting had got score 13 (65%) with enough category and at the second meeting had got score 16 (80%) with a good category. In the second cycle of the first meeting scores obtained 17 (85%) with a good category and the second meeting scored 19 (95%) with a very good category. The result of research in 5th grader class of SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru proves that implementing problem based learning model can improve student learning result of IPA subject.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, IPA Learning Result]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This research aims to improve learning process and increase student’smathematical achievement through implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class VIII2 SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The subject of this research consist of 40 students, there are 29 girls and 11 boys. The research instrument consists of learning materials and instruments for collecting data. Learning materials used in this research are the Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Activity Sheets. Instrument data collectors used in this research are observation sheet and mathematical achievement test. Application of PBL model also gives positive impact on the implementation of learning process that students become more active in learning activities so that learning is not centered on the teacher. Students are also trained to build their own knowledge and can find their own mathematical concepts through the presentation of problems close to the student's real life. The percentage of students which ispass Minimum Mastery Crieria (MMC) increase from 45% to 65% at the first test and to 80% at the second test. This research concludes that the implementation of PBL improved the learning process and the student’s mathematical achievement atclass VIII2 SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year.Key Words: Classroom Action Research, Problem Based Learning models, Learning outcomes]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: Purpose of this study was to develop learning media based on Adobe Flash CS4 chemistry to produce a decent learning media on the subject of chemical bonding that is developed based on the feasibility aspect of design, pedagogy, content, ease of use in Chemical Education Program. This media development research using ADDIE model of which has 5 stages of development, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Model development is modified by the only research to the development phase (development). Results of research-based instructional media development Adobe Flash CS4 on the subject of chemical bonds that have been validated by a validator to be feasible with an average percentage of 97.45% and 91.37%. This indicates that the learning generated media fit for use as a medium of learning.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstrack: This study aims to improve learning outcome IPA class studenst IV SD Negeri 012 Bukit Lingkar Kecamatan Batang Cenaku Kab. Indragiri Hulu 2014/2015 school year. This research subject is student class IV SD Negeri 012 Bukit Lingkar with total student is 20 student. Type of this research is class action research with 2 cycle. The research indicate that teacher activity in cycle I with 70% average and cycle II improve to 90% average. The research result experience improve, before application of learning model problem instruction. In the base score student success 5 person (25%) with 66,1 average, cycle II improve again with student success 18 person (90%) with 82,8 average. All of the improve learning outcome is 65%. Therefore conclusion of this research that hypothesis in this research “ If model learning Problem Based Intruction (PBI) applied than can improve learning outcomes IPA class student IV SD Negeri 012 Bukit Lingkar Kecamatan Batang Cenaku Kab. <![CDATA[Abstract : Learning science class III SDN 013 Bagan Hulu is low, this is caused by the learning is done by texs oriented book, using the lecture method (conventional) and exercises with student involvement was minimal and many current students passive learning. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes SDN 013 Class III Bagan Hulu through the School Year 2015/2016 "Application of Cooperative Learning Model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS)". This research was conducted in April 2016. The subjects were 013 third grade students of SDN Bagan Hulu totaling 32 people, consisting of 19 men and 13 women. This study was conducted in two cycles. Instruments of data collection in this study is testing daily tests, observation sheet student activity and teacher activity observation sheet. The average value of the learning outcomes of students has increased where before action 64.81, an increase in UH I to 75.63 and increased again at UH II to 83.38. Improvement of basic scores to the first cycle of 10.82 with peningaktan percentage of 16.68% and an increase of the basic score to the second cycle of 18.57 with a percentage increase of 28.64%. Mastery learning students are also experiencing increasing 43.75% where as before the action is not finished with categories increased 81.25% in the first cycle is not finished with the category increased again in the second cycle 87.50% with a complete category. Activities of teachers and students during the learning process has also increased. Activity Cycle I teachers with an average of 70.83% categorized as good, increased in the second cycle with an average of 89.58% categorized as very good. Activities of students in the first cycle an average of 72.91% with both categories increased in the second cycle average of 87.49% with a very good category. it can be concluded that with the implementation of cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) can improve learning outcomes SDN 013 Class III IPA Bagan Hulu. <![CDATA[Abstract: This research aim to design a prototipe workbook of Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) for strengthening Natural Science Teacher Competencies. The research procedures are : Analyze, Design, and Development. The book was developed based on essential indicator of Teacher Competency Test 2015 and essential indicator of PCK test 2016 on pedagogy aspek. Analyze, design, develop, first simulation and validation of workbook by internal validator conducted at the Laboratory of Biology Education FKIP University of Riau. External validation, second simulation and user response of the workbook in MGMP IPA Pekanbaru. Workbooks validated on four aspects include format; illustrations; language, and content. Validated workbook will be disseminate after revised. <![CDATA[Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of motivation of and commitment toward employee performance at the unit of services and treatments. This research is conducted at the Mental Hospital Tampan Riau Province from April to June 2014 The method used is descriptive quantitative method. The population is all employees and treatment services Mental Hospital Tampan. 30 respondents are selected by random sampling technique. The data collection instrument used is a questionnaire for the dependent variables: performance (Y); independent variables: motivation (X1), and commitment (X2). The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression statistical techniques. From the results, it can be concluded that: (1) motivational effect on employee performance and maintenance services Mental Hospital Tampan; (2) commitment effect on employee performance and maintenance services Mental Hospital Tampan; (3) the effect of the influence of motivation and commitment to employee performance and maintenance services Mental Hospital Tampan amounted to 29.7%. <![CDATA[Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence of learning motivation on the learning outcomes of economic subjects class X SMA Negeri 2 kelayang. The population of this study is all students of class X SMA Negeri 2 Kelayang with the number 90 with the sample that is 48 people, the sample is taken using proportional random sampling technique. The data used are primary data and secondary data with data collection methods using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis technique used is Descriptive Analysis and Simple Linear Regression Analysis processed through SPSS 17 program. For Windows student motivation in this research belong to high category that is 37,5% while student learning result is classified into good category once 62,5%. The results of this study indicate that the motivation effect on the results of learning subjects economy class X SMA Negeri 2 Kelayang. This means that the higher the students' learning motivation will also improve student learning outcomes. Thus, to improve student learning outcomes, the support of the teacher and the student's environment is motivation.Keywords: Motivation learning, learning outcomes]]>
