Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study described an educational character in the novel Ranah 3 Warna written by Ahmad Fuadi. The aim of this study was to determine the educational character which contained in the novel Ranah 3 Warna written by Ahmad Fuadi. This study was a descriptive qualitative research. The data source of this study was the novel Ranah 3 Warna written by Ahmad Fuadi which consisted of 51 sections with a thickness of 469 pages. Based on the research that conducted by the writer, there are 164 data in the novel that contains educational character. Educational characters which found in the novel Ranah 3 Warna written by Ahmad Fuadi are: (1) Religious, (2) honest, (3) tolerance, (4) discipline, (5) hard work, (6) creative, (7) independently, (8) democratic, (9) curiosity, (10 ) spirit of nationality, (11) love of the country, (12) cherishes the achievements, (13) friendly/communicative, (14) love peace, (15) likes to read, (16) care for the environment, (17) social care, and (18) responsibility.Key Word: Educational Character

Abstract

Abstract : The objective of this research is to find out types of errors made by the third year students of SMPN 14 Pekanbaru in writing descriptive text. This is a descriptive research. The subject of this study was the third year students of SMPN 14 Pekanbaru. In conducting this research, the writer used 30 students as a sample. The students were selected to be the sample using cluster sampling technique. The instrument used to collect the data was writing test. The result of this research showed that the students committed error into four types: omission, addition, misformaion, and misordering. From the frequency of each error type, ‘omission’ was the error which most frequently produced by the students. It took 47,25% of the total errors. Moreover, 32,11% errors fell into error of ‘misformation’ and 14,68% errors fell into ‘addition’; whereas, for error of ‘misordering’, it only took 5,96%.Key Words: Error, Writing, Descriptive text.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to know the quality of workbook pedagodical knowledge streghthening for senior high school biology teachers. The research procedures are: Analyze, Design, and Development. The workbook was developed based on essential indicator of Teacher Competency Test 2015. The phase of analysis, designing, developing, internal validation and first simulation were conducted in the Study Program of Biology Education FKIP University of Riau. External validation and second simulation were conducted in Biology MGMP Pekanbaru. Workbooks validated on four aspects include format; illustrations; language, and content. The result validation of pedagogical knowledge streghthening workbook has very valid category with score 3,38. The response in first simulation is 3.19 which is categorized good and the response in second simulation is 3.29 which is categorized very good. So, the pedagogical knowledge streghthening workbook can be used by teachers as one of the independent learning resources for prepare to follow Teacher Competency Test.Keywords: Workbook, pedagogical knowledge, high school biology teacher

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the observation that has been done against athletes PPLP Pencak Silat Dispora Riau discovered several phenomena such as: it appears that the ability of straight kick committed athlete is still less than the maximum, this is caused by not maximal physical elements athletes such as leg muscle strength athletes who are not maximized, so straight kick that do not powered. Less good balance of athletes will also affect the speed of straight kick committed athlete. Coordination of movement that the athlete is also not maximized, it will affect the results straight kick, the kick will be easily anticipated by the opponent to do the rebuttal, dodgery, and even easier for your opponent to counterattack quickly and suddenly. Straight kick in the sport of martial arts have to do with the strong leg muscle power with the ability range at the target so that the opponent difficult to parry and dodgery. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of limb muscle power with the ability to kick straight PPLP Pencak Silat athletes Riau. This research is done using this type of research correlational. Correlational is a statistical tool,which can be used to compre the result of measurement of two different variables in order to determine the degree of correlation between the variables. Populasi and csample in this research as all PPLP Pencak silat athletes Riau active Dispora martial arts training totaling 12 people. The data collection technique is to use technique total sampling. Based on the research that has been done can be concluded that there is a relationship to the ability of leg muscle power speed sport straight kick in pencak silat athletes PPLP Dispora Riau count r=0.796 and significant level = 0.5 was faound r =0.602 with the category table there is a significant relationship.Keywords: leg muscle power, speed capability straight kick

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed determine the increase of student’s self-regulated in physics learning through applying the TANDUR strategies on subject elasticity and hooke’s law. The method used in this research was quasi experimental method with non-equivalent control group design. This study was taken place in SMAN 1 Gaung Indragiri Hilir with the sample of research consisted of 61 XI IPA grade students in the school year of 2016/2017 who devided become two classes, exsperiment and control class. The instrument data collection in this study is questionnaire of self-regulated which consists of 24 statements. Analysis of the data in this study is descriptive analysis to categorize the average score of student’s self-regulated and analysis of the increase (gain) based on the result of pretest and postest. Based on data analysis, the result of this study obtained an average score of student’s self-regulatedin the experiment class and control class are in high category. For pretest’s score in experiment class, the average Score of 2,36 and control class is 2.37. For score of postest in experiment class, the average Score of 2,95 and control class is 2,60. As for the increase (gain) the average score of student’s self-regulated in the experiment class in medium category with a value of 0,36 and control class in low category with a value of 0,14. This result show the use of TANDUR strategies in physics learning on the elasticity and hooke’s law subject can increase student’s self-regulated.Key Words: Self-Regulated, TANDUR Strategies, Elasticity And Hooke’s Law.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was carried out because the low Social Studies learning outcomes of students and many students who did not reach the KKM. From 35 students, only 13 students who achieve KKM while students who did not reach the KKM as much as 22 people. The purpose of this research is to improve the results of the study of grade IV SD Negeri 130 Pekanbaru with the implementation of the model of cooperative learning methods question student have. The research results obtained the percentage of the activity of the teacher of the first meeting I on cycle of 62,50%, at the meeting of the two rose to 75%. At cycle II the first meeting, activities teachers rose to 83,30% and at the meeting of the two become 87,50% with good category. The percentage of the activity the students at cycle I the first meeting of 54,17% rose to 65,50% on the second meeting. Later in the cycle II of the first meeting of the students rose to 79,17% and have increased again on the second meeting of 91,67% with very good category. The results of student learning in classical increase seen from the basic score, the cycle I and II namely 37.16 percent rose to 61,29% and rose again become 82,35%. For the improvement of the results of the Social Studies learning students also increased by 17,69% at cycle I and rose again by 26,88% at cycle II. It can thus be understood that the implementation of the model of cooperative learning methods question student have can improve the results of learning social studies grade IV SD Negeri 130 Pekanbaru.Keywords: cooperative learning, question student have, learning result of social studies

Abstract

Abstract: The aims of this research to improve learning result fourth grade science SDN 187 Pekanbaru by implementing cooperative learning methods of question student have. The backgroun of this reserch is the low learning result of science, seen in student value of 37 students. Who are not striking scores of the class was 32 students (86,49%), who reashed the scores of the class was 5 students with an avarage value. The Achievement Standard that school determines 78. The method of research is classroom action research,carried out in two cycles with phases including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The technigues of data colection like observation, technique, test and technical documentation. A data colection tod using observation sheet and achievement test. The data analysis technique using teacher and student analysis activity and analysis of student learning result. In cycle I, the first meeting of the teacher gained 62,50% with good category, the second meeting of the percentage increased to 70,83% with good category. In cycle II, the first metting percentage increased to 83,33% in very well category, at the secont meeting the percentage increased to 91,67% with very good category. The average of student learning before the aplication of the model is 55,40 and merease in cycle I to 83,02, and in the second cycle increaset to 87,32, the results showed that the aplication of the cooperative model of question student have method can improve student learning result of science.Key Words: Study Result,Cooperative Learning method question Student have, sciences

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the Accountability of Citizens Learning Package A B C while studying at PKBM Pelita Riau. The formulation of the problem in this study is how high is the accountability of citizens learning the A B C package in the learning process in Pelita Riau PKBM?. And the purpose of this study was to determine the level of accountability of citizens learning the A B C package in the learning process in Pelita Riau PKBM. This study has 3 indicators, namely (1) responsibility (2) obligation, and (3) ability to give answers. The population in this study were 64 study residents. The sample used is proportional stratified random sampling technique that is sampling that is used when members of the population are not homogeneous con sisting of homogeneous or proportional strata groups (Sugiyono, 2012: 93). The data collection technique in this study was a questionnaire technique, which amounted to 40 statements. Data were obtained from 38 respondents for the study sample and 20 people for the trial. After the questionnaire was tested, there were 2 invalid items, and the researcher did not discard invalid statements, because when disposing of invalid items one by one, the researcher found an invalid item again. So the researcher decided not to discard invalid items. Based on the results of the study, on average, 3 indicators of the mean value for the accountability variable of the citizens learning the A B C package in the learning process in Pelita Riau PKBM are high, with Mean 3.89 with SD 0.78. The interpretations obtained for each accountability indicator of citizens learning the A B C package in the learning process in Pelita Riau PKBM are all high.Key Words: Accountability, Accountability of Citizens Learning Package A B C

Abstract

Abstract : Learning activities conducted in kindergarten Bhayangkari only considers the activities of reading, writing, and arithmetic are important so that the child's gross motor skills are still low, it is seen from the attitude of the child's behavior was not interested and less active in participating in learning gross motor skills. This study aims to determine through throwing and catching a ball game can see the influence of children's ability to improve gross motor skills of children and measure how high the increase in children before and after treatment with experimental methods, as well as to find a creative way in creating a fun learning environment to improve skills physical motor skills of children. The method used is ekprimen held in May 2015. The number of children in this study were 20 people, consisting of 11 boys and 9 girls. Based on data from the percentage after given treatment with a score of 82.91%, while the influence of gross motor skills of children before and after treatment equal to 34.37% and concluded that with the activities of throwing and catching the ball influential improve gross motor skills in children aged 5 -6 years in kindergarten Bhayangkari Bagansiapiapi. Abstract

Abstract : The Objective of this research is to find out the significant correlation between the vocabulary knowledge and the speaking skills of the second year students of SMA Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru. The sample of this research was class XI IIS 2, which consisted of 23 students. The data were collected using two kinds of test; namely, a vocabulary test and a speaking test. The results of this research showed that the second year students of SMA Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru got excellent level with the average score of 84.75 in vocabulary and 77.39 in speaking test which are considered as in Good Level. The results of this research proved that there was a positive correlation between the vocabulary knowledge and the speaking skills of SMA Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru. The Rxy distribution of the coefficient correlation was 0,83. It means that there was a very high correlation between these two variables. It means that the Ho (null hypotheses) was rejected and the H1 (alternative hypotheses) was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the vocabulary knowledge has a correlation with the speaking skills.Keywords : Correlation, Vocabulary Knowledge, Speaking Skills
