Abstract

Abstract: The background of this study is the low learning achievement of social science of fourth grade students of Muhammadiyah 6 Elementary School Pekanbaru. The mean daily test scores obtained from 24 students was 68. This value is far from the Minimum Passing Score (MPS) of this school which it was 76. This study aims to improve the learning achievements of social science students of fourth grade Muhammadiyah 6 Elementary School Pekanbaru through mapping concept strategy. The type of this study is a classroom action study. The study was conducted in Muhammadiyah 6 Elementary School Pekanbaru with 24 students of fourth grade of that school as the sample. This study showed the teacher activities in every meeting had been increased, for the first cycle was 71,3% and increasing in cycle II become 88%. Student activities were also increased during each meeting, this can be proven by the average of activity of student at cycle I 63% rose to 83,5% in student activity cycle II. Based on the scores of student learning achievements in classical there is an increase in the number of students who reach MPS was on the first cycle percentage of 66.67% while in cycle II the percentage of students' classical completeness was 83%. Implementation of mapping concept strategy could improve student learning result of fourth grade of SD Muhammadiyah 6 Pekanbaru, it can be seen from the average score of base is 68,21 in cycle I increased to 74,58 with increase of 66,67%, then on cycle II average The primary score score 68.21 was increased to 81.85 with percentage 87.5%.Keywords: mapping concept strategy, learning achievements

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe use of multimedia in the learning process can improve the attractiveness and attention of the students to understand the lesson. Multimedia is expected to increase the students motivation so that the learning process can be run in accordance with the objectives that have been formulated. This study aims to determine the level of the comparison and the effect of using multimedia on students’ motivation in the course of Introduction to Management at the Faculty of Education, University of Riau. Respondent are student who attending the course of Introduction of Management, total 34 students. The data used primary data and secondary data. The data is collected using technique questionnaire. The data then is analized using the formula of relative frequency and hypothesis is verified using t-test. The results showed value = 20,760, df =33, = 2.034. As a result, the t-test mentioned that value greater than 20,760 > 2,034 ( > ), meaning there is a positive effect of the use of multimedia to students motivation at the class of PE-B to learn the Introduction of Management.Key words : multimedia; motivation to study; college student; university; education

Abstract

Abstract: Entering the world of college, students must adapt not to expect too much guidance and counseling such as high school. Students must be given the independence of learning to achieve maturity to help him become a student of knowledge and religion. One of the students independence is by self-management or can be called self-management. The role of self-management is needed in learning activities, because self-management is one of the internal factors that affect learning. Good self-management is the driving force and motivator for individuals to learn, so that in individual learning will be more excited and not quickly bored in learning materials are learned and along with this can improve learning achievement. The purpose of this study is 1) to know the picture of student self-management. 2) To know the picture of student achievement. 3) To know the relationship of self-management with student achievement. Hypothesis in the proposed there is a positive and significant relationship between self-management with student learning achievement. The subjects of the study were Student Guidance and Counseling for the fourth semester of Universitas Riau, amounting to 64 people with the technique of determining the number of samples is called the total sampling ie the total sample is the whole of the population. Data collection using questionnaire about self management and student's Indeks Prestasi Komulatif data. Data analysis technique used is product moment analysis. Based on the calculation results obtained correlation coefficient value (r) of 0.466 with significant 0.000 <0.05. This shows that there is a relationship of self-management with student achievement. Effective contribution given by self management to learning achievement of 20,4% indicated by coefficient of Adjusted R Squared = 0,204, it still there are 79,6% other factors influencing learning achievement of intelligence, interest, environment.Keywords:Self-management,learning achievement2

Abstract

Abstract : this research do it because study result of social science from students SDN 009 Delik grades V very bad. The KKM in the school about 72. There are 27 students in the class but just 6 students (22,22%) reach the point of KKM. while 21 student (77,78%) not reach get it. With class scores 55,70. The purpose from research is to increase result and process social science learning at students of SDN 009 Delik grades V in using learning model of role playing. The result of this research get average base score about 55,70 increase about 36,30% to be 75,92. At cycle 2 average student score have increase too about 54,92% to be 86,29. At the complete clasical base score of social science mayor about 22,22% (not passed). After used model of role playing in cycle 1 get increase result in complite clasical score about 66,67% (still not passed) and in cycle 2 get increase result of complite clasical score about 92,59% (passed). The teacher activity in 1st metting in cycle 1 in percentage about 61,11% with enough category, 2nd metting increase to be 83,33% with good category. The teacher activity 1st metting in cycle 2 have 88,89% with very good category, 2nd metting increase to be 91,67% with very good category.The student activity ties 1st metiing in cycle 1 have 58,33% with enough category, and 2nd metting increase to be 63,88% with enough category. The student activity 1st metting in cycle 2 have 77,78% with good category, 2nd metting increase to be 86,88% with very good category.Key Words: role playing, learning result of social science

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the Model Word Square Application Usage To Increase Motivation At Subjects IPS Student Class V SD Negeri 001 Sedinginan Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir with a total of 25 students. This research was conducted in several cycles with the subject of class V students of SD Negeri 001 Sedinginan Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir 2015/2016. Based on the survey results revealed that the Model Word Square can increase learning motivation IPS fifth grade students of SD Negeri 001 Sedinginan Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir. Activities teachers first cycle result is 43.7% in the category are not perfect and the second cycle has reached a success rate of 78.1% in the category that is perfect. Student activity cycle I result already achieved a success rate that is 50.5% and in the second cycle, the better the score with a score that is 84% in the very high category. Student motivation first cycle results are already achieved a success rate that is 52% and the second cycle has reached a success rate of 84% in the category of very high interval.Keyword: Motivation Learning Student. Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to improved mathematic learning learning outcomes with cooperative model numbered heads together type of students in class VA SDN 37 Pekanbaru. This research is classroomaction research (PTK), with the subject of research was student class VA SDN 37 Pekanbaru. The object of this research was implementation of mathematics learning to improv mathematics learning learning outcomes with cooperative learning model numbered heads together type. The result of research showed that mathematics learning thourgh cooperatice learning model numbered heads together type can improve mathematics learning learning outcomes. It was evident from : (1)learning activities of teacher increase from percentage of first cycle are 64,58% (good category) , on the second cycles becomes 89,58% (very good category); (2) learning activities of students increase from percentage of first cycle are 66,66% (good category) , on the second cycles becomes 89,58% (vey good category); (3) learning outcomes increase from average value pre action are 71,17 with completion value 43,24% (not complete), increased on first cycles amount 14,86% with value 81,71 (high category), and increased on second cycle amount 21,39% with value 86,35 (high category),with the result in increased for all mathematics learning learning outcomes are 36,25%.Key words : Numbered Heads Together, learning outcomes, implementation of learning.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem of this research is the weakness of student’s learning result of mathematics subject. It show from 30 student’s, 18 students (60%) have lower score, and it is only 12 student’s (40%) have average score 65. The KKM of this school is 70. According to that problem, the research by implementing Classroom Action Research method (CAR) with implementation indonesian realistic mathematics education (PMRI). In cycle I, the persentage of teachers activity in first is adguate 48,1%. In second meeting, teachers activity significantly increased to 75% with good category. In cycle 2, first meeting was in very good category 84,6% and second meeting indicated a very goood category 86,5%. Mean while, the activity of student’s also improved. In cycle I indicated 44,2% in educated category and in cycle 2 has increased up to 76,9% with good category. In cycle 2, first meeting, the activity of student’s has been increasing to 78,8% with goog category and second meeting indicated veri good category 82,7%. An average score of student’s learning result before impementation is 65. It increased to 67,3 in cycle I, and 72 in cycle 2. In conclussion, implementation indonesian realistic mathematics education model can improve student’s learning result of three grade students of SD Negeri 49 Tameran Kecamatan Bengkalis Kabupaten Bengkalis in mathematics subject.Key word: PMRI, Learning result of mathematic subject.

Abstract : This study entitled "Analysis of Self-Esteem Class X SMAN 1 Benai" As for the melatarbelakgi this study was low self-esteem class X SMA Negeri 1 Benai. This study aims to reveal the confidence of class X SMA Negeri 1 Benai and to find confidence peritem class X SMA Negeri 1 Benai. The benefits of this research is to inform the relevant parties, especially parents and teachers to know the description of students 'self confidence and as information for students in order to increase the confidence of students as well as information and materials research studies to further students' confidence.This research method using descriptive analytic method, a method that aims to obtain a description of a situation or phenomenon, and after the analysis. In this research will be distributing questionnaires to determine the emotional stability of students of class X SMAN 1 Benai in the school year 2015/2016, and will be at the analysis of the emotional stability of students - the student through the scale. Based on research data that have authors to conclude sump confidence keapada grade X SMAN 1 Benai with a total of 114 students, it was concluded that the vast majority of confidence in class X SMA Negeri 1 Benai categorized under the category of "low".Keywords Self-Esteem, Analysis

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve students’ IPS learning achievement of grade fifth students of SDN 010 Semelinang Darat through the Application of STAD Cooperative Learning Model of STAD. This research is a classroom action research (PTK), which consists of two cycles. The subjects of the research are 20 students with 8 male students and 12 female students with heterogeneous capabilities. The research was conducted on 9thApril 2015 to 16thApril 2015. The data collection in this study was done by using the techniques of observation and tests. The observation sheet was analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis, it aimed to describe the activities of teachers and students during the learning process, while the tests were analyzed by quantitative descriptive analysis of the achievement of the standard minimum score (KKM) of IPS and the average analysis of students’ IPS learning achievement aimed to know whether or not the improvement of students' IPS learning achievement. The results showed there is an improvement on students’ IPS learning achievement of the fifth grade srudents of Elementary School 010 Semelinang Darat. It can be seen from the number of students who completed the basic score that is 10 people or 50% increase in daily test I become 14 people or 70% and then increased in the second daily test to 16 people or 80%. The Improvement of student learning achievement also showed by an average of students' IPS learning achievement in basic score is 64.95 increased in the daily tests I became 72.1 then increased the daily test II became 79.75. From the research it can be concluded that the adoption of STAD Cooperative Learning Model to Improve Students’IPS Learning Achievement of the fifth grade students of Elementary School 010 Semelinang Darat 2014/2015.Keywords: Cooperative learning, STAD type, IPS Learning Achievement.

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research has been to produce LKPD based on construktivisme on the subject of acid-base solution valid based on feasibility of content, language, presentation and graphic. The research was conducted in the Faculty of Education and Teachers Training University of Riau on March-June, 2019. The type of this research was Research and Development (R&D) with the 4-D development model which covers Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Because time and cost limitation, this research was only done until the development step and was followed by the limited trial. The object of this research was constructivism-based student activity sheet. The data analysis technique was descriptive statistical analysis by calculating the percentage of validation’s score. The student’s activity sheet validation of eligibility result by 3 lecturers as the experts was 94.65% which categorize as valid and has already fulfilled the eligibility of contents, language, presentation, and the graphic. The student’s activity sheet validation of eligibility result by teachers as the users was 85,71% with valid categorize, It can be concluded that the student’s activity sheet that already developed can be used in the teaching and learning process. Based on the limited trial that already done to 12 students, the respond showed 94,45% which in the positive criterion.Key Words: Development, LKPD, Constructivism, Acid-Base Solution
