Abstract

Abstract: Based on observations on the Pekanbaru Samba basketball team in the match, it has not found optimal shooting free throws, often the shots hit the board and ring without any point and also the observation that the author saw on the Pekanbaru Samba basketball team. average get a free throw penalty 3-4 times, and only able to put the ball into the ring 2 times. So as to make the team defeat in the match. This research was conducted on the Samba Pekanbaru basketball team with many samples of 12 people. The instruments in this study are wrist flexibility, eye and hand coordination and free throw shots. The results obtained are analyzed using product moment correlation. Based on the results of research and management of data using research statistical procedures, it was concluded that: From the results obtained there is a strong relationship between wrist flexibility and the results of the free throw of the Samba Pekanbaru basketball team namely the acquisition of r count (0.652)> from the acquisition of rtable (0.602) on α = 0.05. From the results obtained there is a strong relationship of eye-hand coordination with the results of the free throw of the Samba Pekanbaru basketball team, namely the acquisition of r count (0.718)> of the acquisition of rtable (0.602) at α = 0.05. There is a strong relationship between wrist flexibility and hand-eye coordination together with the results of the free throw of the Samba Pekanbaru basketball team, namely the acquisition of r count (0.760)> from the acquisition of rtable (0.602) at α = 0.05.Key Words: Wrist flexibility, eye-hand coordination, the results of the free throw

Abstract

Abstract: The causes its low achievement of civic in fourth grade MI Al-Muhsinin Rimba Melintang was the teacher just explain the subject, give the example and give the exercise in front of the class. that's why the author need to did the research by implicated model of learning type Numbered Head Together (NHT). This model can increase student's activity, teacher's activity and the achievement of civic. the main of implicated of this model was to increase the achievement of civic in fourth grade MI Al-Muhsinin Rimba Melintang. This research used classroom action research.. The result of analysis teacher's activity shown that increase in every siclus. teacher's activity in the first meeting is 58,33% increased to be 66,67% in the second meeting. And then increased in the third meeting to be 78,57% and increased to be 83,33 in the fourth meeting. And then increase of the learning achievement from basic average to test I is 72,25 with percentage 6,01%. And from test I to test II Increased to be 75,5 with percentage 10,78%. So, there was increase of learning achievement in every siclus.Key Word: Learning Model Cooperative Type Numbered Head Together, Student’s Achievement

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a descriptive-quantitative research design which is aimed to find out the Vocabulary Level of the third year Natural Science and Social Science Students of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. The subjects of this study were the third year Natural Science and Social Science Students of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. 244 students taking part in this study were given The New Vocabulary Level Test (NVLT) by Webb et al., (2017). The findings of this study revealed that the student vocabulary level as follows the mean score result, the study shows that the Natural science students have reached the requirement for the 1000 and 2000 vocabulary level of Depdiknas RI (2004). It requires that the categories middle level readers (high school) must acquire 1500-3000 family words. Even though for the 3000 vocabulary level, they have not reached the threshold yet. While for the Social Science students, they reach half of the 1000 vocabulary level. While most of them got scores in 12 or 1200 vocabulary words and 9 or 900 vocabulary in the 2000 and 3000 vocabulary level. Based on this study, the students should be focused to learn high frequency vocabulary. As Webb (2017) stated that the high frequency vocabulary will give a bigger impact for the students. Since the high frequency vocabulary accounts for a large percentage of English, it provides a foundation for further lexical and language development for the students.Key Words: Vocabulary, Vocabulary Level Test, Natural science students and Social Sciencestudents.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop an education module to families of street children and to test the validity of a education modules. The research method used is research and development with simplication of steps by Borg and Gall, namely: potential and problems, gathering information, product design, design validation, design revision, and product making. The instrument used was the assesment scale sheet, which was validated by 4 material experts, two guidance and counseling lecturers and two guidance and counseling teachers. The results showed that the education module to families of street children developed is a valid category to be used as educational materials to families of street children.Keywords: Research and development, Education module, Families of Street Children

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the improvement of students ' learning achievement in the application of the Learning Discovery Learning model on the subject of ion equilibrium and pH of class salt solution XI SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru. This type of research is experimental research with draft research using the Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population consists of 4 classes and the samples consist of 2 randomly selected classes namely the XI MIPA 1 class as the experimental class and the XI MIPA 2 class as the control class. Experiment classes are given the implementation of the Discovery Learning learning model while the control class has no Discovery learning model. Research instruments are objective questions that have been tested for validity and reliability. Research hypothesis testing using right-side test-T. Based on the results of data analysis obtained that the value of tcount = 10 > ttable = 1.67 then the hypothesis accepted this means that increasing students ' learning achievements with the application of discovery learning models are acceptable.Key Words: Discovery learning Model Learning, learning achievement, Ion equilibrium and the pH of salt solution

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on explaining the level of legal awareness of the community of Tebing Tinggi District, Kepulauan Meranti Regency in making a driver’s license (SIM) C. Basically, there is awareness of the law in every human being. To create a law-conscious society, it is necessary to know, understand, obey and respect the law. Driver’s licence (SIM) as an instrument of protection of interests and legal certainty for every community who drives a vehicle in obedience to traffic. The formulation of the problem to be examined in the research is How the Level of Public Legal Awareness in the Making of a Driving License (SIM) C in Tebing Tinggi District, Kepulauan Meranti Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of community legal awareness of Tebing Tinggi District, Kepulauan Meranti Regency in the making a driver’s license (SIM) C. This study used a quantitative descriptive method. The data collection instrument used in this study was a questionnaire consisting of 4 indicators with 20 questions. The population in this study were the people of Tebing Tinggi District. The sample in this study was taken using the incidental sampling technique. Based on the results of research and discussion of respondents who answered "Less Knowing", namely 34.1%, it is in the range of 25.01% - 50.00% including in the category of "Less Aware" answers. This illustrates that the community in Tebing Tinggi district, Kepulauan Meranti Regency is less aware of the compliance in making a driver’s licence (SIM) C.Key Words: Public Legal Awareness, Driver’s Licence (SIM) C

Abstract

Abstract: The research was aimed to determine the effect of the Know-Want-Learned (KWL) strategy on the ability of the second year students of SMP Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru in comprehending descriptive texts. This pre-experimental research used the design of one group pretest-posttest and was carried out at Tri Bhakti School in Pekanbaru. A total of 27 students from class VIII.1 in the 2019/2020 academic year were selected as samples, they were selected by using the cluster random sampling. The Sample class was treated using the KWL strategy. The instrument used was a multiple-choice that consisted of 40 questions. Then, the data obtained from the pre-test and post-test were analyzed by SPSS version 23.0. The results show that the value of the pre-test is 46 and increased in the post-test to 77. Then the T-test was tested and obtained T-test > T-table (13,659 > 2,056) with a significant level of 5% which means there is a significant effect of the KWL strategy on the ability of the second year students of SMP Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru in comprehending descriptive texts.Key Words: Reading, Reading Comprehension, Descriptive Text, KWL Strategy

Abstract

Abstract: Sila is a fundamental technique in the game of sepak takraw because the effort to play the ball is carried out by the player, both tekong and wedge control the ball that aims to make passes and provide feedback, both himself and to friends in an effort to attack the opponent. The basic technique of precepts. Judging from observations and observations during training in the field, there are several problems, one of which is when feeding the ball to the smasher is often not optimal and does not match the desired expectations, even though the technique of baiting and soccer techniques is the thing that must be mastered by a player sepak takraw. The population in this study were takraw Putra MAN 1 KAMPAR players as many as 10 people. By using a total sampling technique, the in this study amounted to 10 people. The instruments in this study were aye and foot coordination whit sepak sila abilities. Data obtained were analyzed using moment product correlation. Based on the results of research and data processing using statistical research procedures, it was concluded that for the relationship of variable X with variable Y obtained r count = 0,982> r table = 0,666, then there was a relationship between variable X and variable Y, thus Ha was accepted. This means that the hypothesis is accepted at a significant level α = 0,05 in other words there is a Relationship between Eye and Foot Coordination with Sila football Skill in Sepaktakraw Games on the MAN 1 Kampar men’s ream.Key Words: Eye and Foot Coordination, Sila sepak Skills.

Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to produce mathematic learning device in the form of syllabus, lesson plan, and student worksheet based curriculum 2013 with Creative Problem Solving model on social arithmetic for junior high school. The study model used is ADDIE that consist of analyze, design, develop, implementation, and evaluation. Development process is done until the develop stage. The research instrument used is validity instrument and practicality instrument. Practicality instrument could not be implemented because of the school was closed. The validity instrument is a validation sheet to assess the feasibility of syllabus, lesson plans and student worksheet. Learning device developed are validated by three validators. Based on the data analysis, it can be conclude that the average value for syllabus is 87,40% in very valid category which means that syllabus is feasible to be used; as well as the average value for lesson plan and student worksheet are 83,33% and 81.31%. That are in valid category which means that lesson plan and student worksheet are feasible to be tested with improvement as the suggestion of the validators. Syllabus, lesson plan, and student worksheet are feasible to be used in the school after improvement as the suggestion of the validators.Key Words: Creative Problem Solving Learning Model, Learning Device, Social Arithmetic, and Validity.

Abstract

Abstract: this determination is carried out around the Gramedia red light Pekanbaru City. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics and empathy of street children around the red light Gramedia Pekanbaru, in this study used a descriptive research type with predetermined indicators, and ways of collecting and calculating research data with a qualitative approach. In order to get information, the researchers took informants. And the informants of this research are street children around the red light Gramedia Pekanbaru city. Data collection techniques in this study using interview techniques, observation, documentation. After conducting this research, it is known that the empathy of street children around the red light Gramedia Pekanbaru city still has a sense of empathy for the surrounding environment.Keywords: Empathy, Characteristics, And Street Children.
