Abstract

Abstract: This study examines Community Empowerment through CatfishLivestock Management at Rt 007/ Rw 003 Benteng Hulu Village, Mempura District,Siak Regency and in the Empowerment there are preparation, planning, implementationin starting the management of catfish. The purpose of the study was to identify anddescribe community empowerment through the management of catfish livestock in RT007/ RW 003 Benteng Hulu Village, Mempura District, Siak Regency. This type ofresearch is descriptive with a qualitative approach, where the data collection process iscarried out by interviewing 5 subjects, namely core informants, control informants, coreinformants 1, core informants 2, core informants 3, with documentation included. Basedon the results of interviews, researchers found 3 indicators, namely: (1) preparation, (2)planning, (3) implementation. the study of the 3 indicators, the researchers found theappropriate implementation stages in carrying out Community Empowerment throughCatfish Livestock Management.Key Words: Community Empowerment, Catfish Livestock Management

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of dribbling drills training on the dribbling ability of the U15 Ssb Bintang Seroja Dumai soccer team. The research was carried out in the soccer field at SSB Bintang Seroja, Jl. Cut Nyak Dien, Purnama, Dumai Barat, Dumai City on July 13, 2020. The population in this study were the SSB players of Bintang Seroja Dumai with a total sample of 12 athletes who participated in training at Ssb Bintang Seroja Dumai. Before the analysis was carried out, first a pre-test was carried out with an average result of 18.39, then carried out through the training of dribbling during 16 meetings with 12 players of SSB Rajawali Pekanbaru and the average post-test result was 16.80. . Based on the statistical t-test analysis, the difference value is obtained at 1.59 and produces a t count of 9.93 and a t table of 1.79. Means titung> t table. It can be concluded that drills training in dribbling has an effect on dribbking ability. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded as follows: that dribbling training (X) has an influence on dribbling ability (Y) in the SSB Bintang Seroja Dumai Team.Key Words: Effect of Drill Training, Dribbling Ability

Abstract

Abstract: This research investigates the types of code-switching between Indonesian and English and vice versa in Indonesian television advertisements. The limitation of this research was on the use of code switching cosmetic product which occurred in Indonesian Television advertisements. The technique used to collect the data was Documentary technique means reading, studying, and analyzing all the data. This research was conducted by using content analysis methodology, with the code-switching being identified, noted, analyzed and finally categorized into the framework developed by Hoffman who proposed the types of code-switching: intra-sentential switching, inter-sentential switching and tag switching. A data of 30 cosmetic advertisements are used in analyzing code-switching. The advertisements are gotten from some kinds of cosmetic brands, such as Emina, Fair and Lovely, Fit Me, Garnier, Emina, Lakme 9to5, Loreal Paris, Marina, Maybelline Poise, Pons, Purbasari, Vaseline, and Wardah. The result showed that the most frequently used code-switching form in Indonesian television advertisements was intra-sentential switching (83,33%), followed by inter-sentential switching (11,11%), and tag switching (5,56%).Key Words: Code-Switching, Types, Sociolinguistic.

Abstract

Abstract: This pre-experimental study is aimed at finding out if there is a significant effect of Word Cluster teaching technique on the ability of the second students of SMPN 1 Pangkalan Lesung in comprehending descriptive texts. The design of the study is one group pre-test-treatment-posttest design. There are 3 classes in the second year. Class VIII B in the second semester of academic year 2018/2019 that consist of 30 students are chosen as the sample by using cluster random sampling technique. The instrument of the test is in the form of multiple choices which consist of 40 items about descriptive texts. To collect the needed data the treatments were conducted for six times. The students’ scores were analyzed by using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) version 23.00 for windows. The results of the data analysis show that the mean score of the pre-test is 57.50 and the mean score of the post-test is 63.41. It means that the value of t-test is higher than t-table (3.088>2.045). The alternative hypothesis (HI) of this study is accepted. In other words, there is a significant effect of Word Cluster teaching technique on the reading comprehension ability of the second year students of SMPN 1 Pangkalan Lesung. The implication of this finding is beneficial for the teachers in teaching and learning English especially in teaching reading.Key Words: Effect, Word Cluster, Reading Comprehension

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this study is that there is still a lack of goal-shootingability, especially in leg muscle power because the Putra Abe Jemsi Duri futsal club,Bengkalis Regency has never done exercises to improve physical condition, especiallyleg muscle power. To fix this problem, the author provides a form of exercise thatincreases power, especially in the leg muscles, namely single-leg speed hop exercises.The title raised in this study is "The Effect of Single Leg Speed Hop Exercise on LegMuscle Power of Abe Jemsi Duri Putra Futsal Club Athlete, Bengkalis Regency" so thatin the future these athletes can shoot at goal well, and the most important thing afterthis research is to know Is there an increase in the ability to shoot on goal, especially inleg muscle power. The form of this research is (using a one-group pretest-posttestdesign approach) with a population of 17 people at the Putra Abe Jemsi Duri futsalclub, Bengkalis Regency. The instrument used in this study was a standing board jumptest which aims to determine the effect of Single Leg Speed Hop exercise on leg musclepower. After that, the data were processed statistically, to test for normality using theLilliefors test at a significant level of 0.05α. The hypothesis proposed is that there is aneffect of sinlge leg speed hop exercise on leg muscle power in futsal club athletes PutaAbe Jemsi Duri, Bengkalis Regency. Based on the analysis of the normality test of thedata, the results of the pree-test resulted in Lcount of 0.136 and Ltable of 0.206meaning Lcount < Ltable. While the post-test data resulted in Lcount of 0.111 andLtable of 0.206, meaning that Lcount < LTable, then the data was normally distributed.Based on statistical data analysis, there is an average pree-test of 191.41 and anaverage post-test of 223.05. Then based on the analysis of the t-test, the t-test value is10.67 and the t-table is 1.703, so tcount > ttable, then Ho is rejected. and Ha accepted.Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of single-leg speed hop exercise on legmuscle power at the Putra Abe Jemsi Duri Futsal club, Bengkalis Regency.Key Words: Single Leg Speed Hop Exercise, Leg Muscle Power

Abstract

Abstract: The learning process played by educators, not only the delivery of information but educators should encourage students looking for information to then build their own knowledge. Map media is one of the historical learning media that can be used to assist teachers in giving lessons to students. This research aims to find out the influence of map media use by teachers in Indonesian History subjects in grade X of SMA Cendana Pekanbaru. This research was conducted to analyze the influence of map learning media on Indonesian History subjects on the learning results of cendana pekanbaru high school students with amount of students is 26 peoples . In the statistical data of the Independent Sample T-Test there is a significant average difference between the Experiment Class which is 84.00 and control class 76.00. From the test it can be concluded that the use of Map media in historical learning is more effective when compared to chart media. From the results of Independent-Samples T Test obtained a calculated T value from the Post-test group Experiment-Control of 3,706. From that data, it looks like the value of t count 3,719> t table2.00856, the value of probability or Sig (2-tailed) 0.001< 0.05 until H1 is received and H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that the map learning media on Indonesian History subjects affects the learning results of students at SMA Cendana Pekanbaru.Key Words: Influence, Map Media, Learning Outcomes, Historical Learning

Abstract

Abstract: Reog Ponorogo is a barongan art originating from Ponorogo, East Java, which is spread throughout Indonesia, one of which is in Titian Resak Village, Seberida District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. Riau. The research objectives are as follows: (1) To determine the early history of the formation of the Reog Ponorogo Singo Manggolo Mekarsari Art in Titian Resak Village. (2) To determine the development of the Art of Reog Ponorogo Singo Manggolo Mekarsari in 1985-2019. (3) To find out the procession of the Reog Ponorogo Singo Manggolo Mekarsari performing arts. (4) To find out the values contained in the Reog Ponorogo Singo Manggolo art performance. (5) To find out the efforts of the community and local government in preserving the Reog Ponorogo Singo Manggolo Art. The method used is the historical method: (1) Heuristic. (2) Verification. (3) Interpretation. (4) Historiography. With the results of the research: The history of the formation of the Reog Ponorogo Singo Manggolo Mekarsari Art Association began with the arrival of the transmigration community in 1981 to Titian Resak Village, and the association was formed in 1985 on behalf of the community. Until now, it continues to develop until now, although it has stopped performing performances for 14 years due to social deviations and the entry of keyboard music. In 2009 a new management was formed with many changes in terms of music, clothing, songs and dances and included many moral values, educational values, cultural values and religious values in each appearance. Smoothness in appearance cannot be separated from the exercises that are carried out regularly and supporting musical instruments and properties. The community and government play an important role in preserving Reog Ponorogo art by making Reog Ponorogo art a regular performer in Village events. Abstract

Abstract: Biology education students are future teacher candidates who are required to be able to have various competencies, one of which is competence in carrying out practical activities. Practical activities can provide contextual experience in implementing existing theoretical studies. However, there are various obstacles to carrying out practical activities that can affect the content knowledge of prospective biology teacher students. This study aims to develop independent learning resources for prospective teacher students in the form of a virtual laboratory equipped with a practical guide book. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of PMIPA FKIP Riau University, SMAN 8 Pekanbaru, and SMAN 14 Pekanbaru in December 2020 – May 2021. It used a Research and Development (R&D) approach with ADDIE model. The instruments used are validation sheets and response questionnaires. The validation results obtained an average value of 3.62 (virtual laboratory) and 3.51 (guidebook) in the very valid category. The results of the limited trial phase I obtained an average value of 3.88 (virtual laboratory) and 3.96 (guidebook) in the very good category. The results of the limited trial phase II obtained an average value of 3.80 (virtual laboratory) and 3.86 (guide book) in the very good category. The results showed that the virtual laboratory and guide books that were developed is good quality and suitable to be used as independent learning resources to increase content knowledge for prospective teacher candidates.Key Words: Virtual Laboratory, Practical Guide, Animal Base Tissue

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the Pancasila values contained in the marriage tradition of the Batak Toba tribe in Duri, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. . The formulation of the problem in this study is how the Pancasila values contained in the tradition of the Batak Toba marriage in Duri, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. The aim is to find out how the Pancasila values are contained in the tradition of the Batak Toba marriage in Duri, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. In July 2020 to August 2020. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Respondents in this study were the Head of the Toba Batak Customs and communities. Using data collection techniques: observation, interviews, questionnaires, literature study, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data analysis techniques: data collection, classifying alternative answers to respondents. The results of this study determine the percentage of alternative answers to respondents using the formula P = f / n x 100% presenting in tabular form, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research, it shows that there are Pancasila values from the five precepts, namely, one supreme deity, fair and civilized humanity, Indonesian unity, democracy led by wisdom in representative deliberation and social justice for all Indonesian people. This is indicated by the recapitulation of the fourth and fifth precepts which are the highest number of respondents answered and the third principle is the lowest number of principles answered by the respondents, the values of Pancasila contained in the tradition of the Batak Toba marriage in Duri, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency.Key Words: Analysis Of The Value Of Pancasila, The Tradition Of Marriage, The Batak Toba

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to identify both types of grammatical errors and dominant errors made by the second grade students of SMAN 6 Kundur Kabupaten Karimun Kepulauan Riau in writing recount texts. The population as well as the sample (Total Sampling) of this research was the second grade students of SMAN 6 Kundur Kabupaten Karimun Kepulauan Riau. The research findings revealed that all types of grammatical errors and error of formation was the most dominant with 195 errors (54.92%); then, followed by error of omission with 93 errors (26.20%), and error of addition and ordering were below 10%. Error of addition with 34 errors (9.60%) and error of ordering with 33 errors (9.30%). Therefore, it can be concluded that the second grade students of SMAN 6 Kundur Kabupaten Karimun Kepulauan Riau committed the errors because of the influence of their mother tongue, the way of thinking, and generalization of the rule of the target language.Keywords: Error Analysis, Omission, Addition, Formation, ordering.
