Abstract

According to Cisco report in 2015, Internet usage has increased more than five times in the last 5 years, and it was projected to increase three times over the next 5 years. Increasing use of the internet is mostly caused by certain internet applications such as Flash, MPEG, video streaming, and P2P file sharing. Therefore, bandwidth configuration with traffic shaping method in Linux is needed in order to provide the needs of the Internet in accordance with user class. nDPI is used for classifying the data traffic in the Internet network.Work on the thesis focuses on the evaluation of the use of nDPI on bittorrent P2P applications. The evaluation was done using iptables to perform the data traffic marking and traffic control (tc) to do the bandwidth shaping. Bandwidth monitoring used iptraf applications on Linux and Networx application on the client.Based on testing performed, traffic shaping with nDPI coupled with cache successfully limited the bandwidth usage of  bittorrent P2P applications. The nDPI with cache was evaluated in different cache sizes and bandwidth limits. nDPI with size cache of 1024 entries is recommended. nDPI can not fully classifying bittorrent traffic correctly.

Abstract

Utilization as a surveillance camera (CCTV) still has many weaknesses. The camera just record it, so it still takes control of guard constantly. With these limitations it needed an additional capability to boost surveillance cameras work. One of the additional capabilities that can be used is the motion detection which helps signal the event of unusual movements were caught on camera.Detection of object motion can be used to capture movements recorded from a CCTV. Detection process starts by reading each video frame, from frame - frame segmentation process will be carried out so that objects that are obtained from the video. After that, the object - the object stored will be processed using the kernel method - based on detecting movement going from object - the object.The end result is a software application that can signal the moving objects from the video. The software was tested with some video with different conditions - different. If the object in the video is too big or too small tracking process will be inaccurate.

Abstract

One of the more famous games lately is the Werewolf game. This game requires 15-20 players once a game. In fact, it is very difficult to gather 15-20 players in one place and at the same time. In addition, from existing werewolf game apps, to play with friends around very hard. Therefore, made this Werewolf game with Near Me feature using GPS. Features Near Me itself is a feature that displays a list of game rooms that players are near the user. So the players do not need to spend time looking for the name / game room number to play with. To get the distance from Near Me this is used GPS from each player and will be measured how far distance of player in game room with user use formula to measure distance with latitude and longitude.The steps of making this thesis first is to prepare the game database using MySQL. Then create a game interface using Android Studio, create game server using Firebase. After that, connect the database and game server to Android Studio. Create support features of the game, and do an overall check on the game.The final result of this application is a Werewolf game with features Near Me. After going through several testing phases, this app can be played up to a maximum of 18 players in 1 game room and can have 10 game rooms. Based on the questionnaire results, the Near Me feature was found to facilitate the users in terms of finding the game room when the users were playing together.

Abstract

Technology continues to grow from year to year. One such technology is e-mail that has been developed since 1975 until now. Many people have suffered losses due to missing some information about the conferences in the world and this technology helps to provide all the information about the conferences held in the world to the participants of the conference.This website contains data and the overall schedule of the conference held in the world by using e-mail technology can help participants to obtain various kinds of information and schedules, especially for a conference held in the world, e-mail technology is used to transmit and provide information regularly to the participants of the conference. Based on test results, this website can perform the function add an event to provide conference schedule, and update events to change the provider of input errors on the results of the conference and can also send emails automatically and globally to provide information to the participants in accordance with the desired interest while also e-mail is also biased to provide information about the participants kehangusan members so that it can be a reminder to participants.

Abstract

Nowadays, the word culinary is currently popular. Many restaurants and cafes were built to fulfill the enthuasism from customers in trying new foods and recipes. Lots of innovation and creativity from the owner were used to attract the customers by creating a new recipe and food. The enthuasism of people in culinary doesn’t stop right there. Their enthuasism leads them to share those food which they ate to the social media so that other people could also know and tried. However, it has limitations and drawbacks because these recipes have not been tested for quality. Not only that, but also many people feels like cooking is difficult because the lack of steps and pictures in a recipe. The lack of steps and pictures in a recipe makes the enthuasism decreasing.Technology is growing rapidly. Many Android developers were started to make an application or software in order to help fulfilling people needs and problems. The technology which are developed nowadays, allows to eliminate the deficiency of a problem. By creating this application, it will help people know which recipe is worth to try depending on the number of likes and comments from the users. Cookpedia also can filter the recipes based on likes so that users can see the recipes which are popular.

Abstract

UD Y is a small business, that provides distribution of water pumps and the spareparts (capacitor, seal, fan) as well as manufacturing the accessories (valves, pvc tees and tanks). UD Y as a commercial industry, finds it hard to forecast the right amount of materials needed to produce their products. For that reason, for this thesis will be made  a Sales Forecasting using the Weighted Moving Average and Double Exponential Smoothing methods to help UD Y to forecast the right amount of products that will be bought every month.This system was made using database MySQL with Hypertext Prepocessor (PHP) programming languageFrom the final testing of this program, system that has been made can  show the sales forecast in UD Y so that system can help UD Y from making decision for the right amount of products stock.

Abstract

Speed is very needed by humans, because humans increasingly busy in work. Speed is important for humans who wants to support the desire of almost instantaneous. Some business opportunities that take advantage of technological advances which can be seen more and more business transactions are done online. The existence of e-commerce as GoFood, Food Panda, McDelivery, PHD, KFC Online is an alternative promising business to be applied in the era of technological development today, because e-commerce provides much convenience for both parties, either from the seller or from the buyer. Based on this background Catering ELLA seeks to create a website booking service and administration. The website is expected to create comfort and speed in the process of ordering food. The entire purchase feature to report all incorporated into a system that is not bothersome owner and reduce the risk of human error. Overall a website created in accordance with the needs of catering and users. Users feel the speed and in the process of purchasing food for catering and administrative processes.

Abstract

Handphone or Mobile phone by most people as a mobile phone is the most commonly used communication tool in everyday life. The price offered varies depending on the condition of the phone. Mobile phone can be used without wired network.In the development of this very rapid information system, it is not difficult to solve such problems. One of them with decision-making system. Decision-making system is one way to achieve a certain goal to be achieved. Decision-making system can be done through the process of data collection, and with consideration of determining the decision. In determining this decision required a method to overcome the problem, namely by using the method of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW).Based on the results of bakers, 60% of respondents rated well in appraisal of apps, 40% of respondents rated very well in assessing the ease of use of the application, 50% of respondents rated good in assessing the completeness of information, 50% of respondents rated good in assessing conformity in needs, 40% respondents rate good in assessing the resulting report, 50% of respondents rate good in assessing the overall application.

Abstract

Terdapat banyak lokasi-lokasi bersejarah di Surabaya yang merupakan peninggalan pertempuran Surabaya pada tahun 1945. Hal ini menarik para wisatawan untuk berkunjung ke Surabaya. Para wisatawan pada umumnya mencari informasi melalui berbagai media seperti internet sebelum melakukan kunjungan. Namun, informasi yang didapat pada umumnya kurang terorganisir untuk menggambarkan sejarah pertempuran Surabaya dengan baik. Dengan memanfaatkan smartphone yang banyak digunakan saat ini, sebuah aplikasi dirancang untuk membantu para wisatawan dalam mencari lokasi dan informasi mengenai lokasi sejarah pertempuran Surabaya.Aplikasi ini menyediakan akses ke informasi lokasi, sejarah lokasi, galeri foto lokasi, daftar lokasi yang telah dikunjungi, menjalankan game, virtual stamping, simulasi pertempuran Surabaya dan download konten. Adapun aplikasi ini dirancang untuk beroperasi pada smartphone dengan sistem operasi Android.Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, aplikasi ini dapat menjalankan fungsi login, peta, game, virtual stamping, simulasi sejarah dan download konten serta fungsi lain yang telah disebutkan.

Abstract

PT. X is a retail company that is located in Surabaya. In order to meet its objectives and customers’ satisfaction, PT. X uses softwares, hardwares, networks, people, et cetera. Based on the situation and condition in PT. X, there are chances of risk rising caused by data security, data integrity, hard disk, business process sustainability problems, and many more.This research is about to assess risks that might have happened in all information technology areas and during business processes that are continuisly running. The analized areas are the result of mapping business continuity with standard ISO/IEC 27002:2005 chapter 14 into IT domain and after that doing risk assessment and also risk mitigation.Risks that have been found are dependence on outsource programmer as an IT consultant, no IT Risk Assessment, no Disaster Recovery Plan, no IT Security Plan, no access right evaluation, no people that are responsible to manage IT, no training or secure area related to security incident, no standard, framework, and SOP for technology and IT system. The result of risk assessment helps the management of the company realize what risks may occur and could have put the company in a danger situation so that the company could take actions to mitigate and to prevent those risks from happening.
