Abstract

ABSTRACT Obesity has become a global epidemic and is a health problem that must be addressed immediately. The current lifestyle of teenagers who often skip breakfast and prefer to consume fast food. The prevalence of obesity in children and adolescents has increased dramatically over the past two decades, especially in big cities. High energy and fat intake might contribute to obesity. This study aims to determine the relationship of nutritional intake with the incidence of obesity in adolescents at Brother Don Bosco Manado High School. This type of research is a correlational study with a cross sectional study approach. This study analyzes the relationship between nutrient intake and the incidence of obesity in adolescents at Brother Don Bosco Manado High School. This research was carried out in July 2019 at Brother Don Bosco High School in Manado. The research variable is the independent variable which is nutrition intake and the dependent variable is the incidence of obesity. The statistical test used was non-parametric, that is the Chi Square test. The results showed that the probability value of energy nutrition intake for the incidence of obesity is p = 0,000 <0.05, carbohydrate intake for the incidence of obesity p = 0,000 <0.05, protein intake for obesity incidence p = 0.001 <0.05 and fat intake for incidence of obesity p = 0,000 <0.05. The conclusion obtained is that there is a significant relationship between nutrient intake (energy, carbohydrate, protein and fat) with the incidence of obesity in adolescents in Brother Bos Bosco High School Manado, Keywords: Nutrition Intake, Obesity Events, Adolescent Children. ABSTRAK Obesitas telah menjadi suatu epidemik global dan merupakan masalah kesehatan yang harus segera ditangani. Gaya hidup remaja saat ini yang sering melewatkan sarapan dan lebih suka mengkonsumsi fast food. Prevalensi obesitas pada anak-anak dan remaja telah meningkat sangat drastis selama dua decade terakhir, terutama di kota-kota besar. Asupan energi dan lemak yang tinggi mungkin berkontribusi pada obesitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan nutrisi dengan kejadian obesitas anak remaja di SMA Frater Don Bosco Manado. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Penelitian ini menganalisa tentang hubungan antara asupan nutrisi dengan kejadian obesitas anak remaja di SMA Frater Don Bosco Manado. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2019 di SMA Frater Don Bosco Manado. Variabel penelitian adalah variabel bebas yaitu asupan nutrisi dan variabel terikat kejadian obesitas. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah non parametrik yakni uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai probabilitas asupan nutrisi energi terhadap kejadian obesitas yaitu p = 0,000 < 0,05, asupan karbohidrat terhadap kejadian obesitas p = 0,000 < 0,05, asupan protein terhadap kejadian obesitas p = 0,001 < 0,05 dan asupan lemak terhadap kejadian obesitas p = 0,000 < 0,05. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara asupan nutrisi (energi, karbohidrat, protein dan lemak) dengan kejadian obesitas pada anak remaja di SMA Frater Don Bosco Manado, Kata kunci : Asupan Nutrisi, Kejadian Obesitas, Anak Remaja.

Abstract

Nutritional status is a meansure of success in fulfilling nutrition for children as indicated by weight and height, the nutritional problems that most often occur inadolescents are lack of nutritional intake and excess nutritional intake that can lead to obesity. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of fast food intake, phsycal activity and screen time on nutritional status of students at Hang Tuah 2 Junior High School, South Jakarta. This research was conducted at Hang Tuah 2 Junior High School, South Jakarta for 2 weeks in a row. This research is descriptive with a cross sectional approach. Sampling was done by using a simple random sampling method and the number of samples was 70 people. The results of this study showed that stundents with obese nutritional status (22.8%) and overweigth nutritional (57.2%) were found to be more than students with normal nutritional status (20%). Based on the intake of fast food, students have more frequent consumption of fast food, which is 74.3% of students. Based on phsycal activity, most of the students did physical activity which was classified into the light activity category (85.7%). Based on the duration of screen time, students who have overweight and obese nutritional status are more likely to have screen time duration always compared to students who have normal nutritional status.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Gout is an arthritis disease caused by abnormal purine metabolism which is characterized by increased levels of uric acid in the blood. The body parts that are often affected by gout arthritis are the joints of the fingers, knees, ankles, and toes. This study aims to determine the administration of soursop juice (Annona muricata Linn) on blood uric acid levels in gout arthritis patients in working area of Kotobangon Public Health Center, East Kotamobagu. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design, pretest and posttest treatment. The study was conducted in the working area of the Kotobangon Public Health Center, East Kotamobagu in January – February 2021. The sample consisted of 33 people. The data collected were the characteristic of the respondents and examination of blood uric acid levels before and after administration of soursop juice. The statistical test used to distinguish blood uric acid levels before and after administration of soursop juice was the Paired Sample T Test. Blood uric acid levels before administration of soursop juice were the lowest 6,0 mg/dL and highest 8,3 mg/dL. Blood uric acid levels after administration of soursop juice were the lowest 3,0 mg/dL and highest 7,3 mg/dL. Decrease in blood uric acid levels by 32 people and an increase in blood uric acid levels by 1 person. The results of the analysis showed that there were differences in blood blood uric acid levels in patients with gout arthritis before and after administration of soursop juice and the average decrease in blood uric acid levels was 2,77 mg/dL. The Paired Sample T Test was carried out with p value = 0,000, because p = <0,05, then Ha was accepted. Keyword : Gout Arthritis, Blood Uric Acid Levels, Soursop Juice ABSTRAK Gout adalah salah satu penyakit arthritis yang disebabkan oleh metabolisme abnormal purin yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya kadar asam urat dalam darah. Bagian tubuh yang sering terserang gout arthritis adalah sendi jari tangan, lutut, pergelangan kaki, dan jari kaki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemberian jus sirsak (Annona muricata Linn) terhadap kadar asam urat darah pada pasien gout arthritis di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kotobangon Kotamobagu Timur. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu, pretest dan posttest treatment. Penelitian dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kotobangon Kotamobagu Timur pada bulan Januari – Februari 2021. Sampel ada 33 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah karakteristik responden dan pemeriksaan kadar asam urat darah sebelum dan sesudah pemberian jus sirsak. Uji statistik yang digunakan untuk membedakan kadar asam urat darah sebelum dan sesudah pemberian jus sirsak adalah Paired Sample T Test Kadar asam urat darah sebelum pemberian jus sirsak yaitu terendah 6,0 mg/dL dan tertinggi 8,3 mg/dL. Kadar asam urat darah sesudah pemberian jus sirsak yaitu terendah 3,0 mg/dL dan tertinggi 7,3 mg/dL. Penurunan kadar asam urat darah sebanyak 32 orang dan kenaikan kadar asam urat darah sebanyak 1 orang. Hasil analisis ada perbedaan kadar asam urat darah pada pasien gout arthtiris sebelum dan sesudah pemberian jus sirsak dan rata-rata penurunan kadar asam urat darah yaitu 2,77 mg/dL. Dilakukan Paired Sample T Test didapat nilai p = 0,000, karena nilai p = <0,05, maka Ha dapat diterima. Kata Kunci : Gout Arthritis, Kadar Asam Urat Darah, Jus Sirsak

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Sebanyak 77.892 pasien penderita GGK pada tahun 2017 di Indonesia, peningkatan penderita GGK sampai di jumlah tersebut dikarenakan banyak pasien yang belum patuh untuk menjalani serangkaian terapi pengobatannya termasuk juga terapi diet. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan dukungan keluarga terhadap kepatuhan diet pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronik dengan hemodialisa. Metode: Desain penelitian ini adalah studi literatur. Metode pengambilan data adalah scooping review dari beberapa jurnal yang memiliki topik pembahasan sama yaitu hubungan dukungan keluarga terhadap pasien GGK dengan hemodialisa. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa hasil pencarian artikel yang diperoleh saat pencarian sumber referensi dari database yang digunakan yaitu google scholar, garuda ristek bin, EBSCOhost dan pubmed. Hasil: Berdasarkan perbandingan uji statistik dari 9 jurnal yang dikaji. Terdapat 5 jurnal yang menyatakan ada hubungan dan 4 jurnal yang menyatakan tidak ada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga terhadap kepatuhan diet pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronik dengan hemodialisa. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan dukungan keluarga terhadap kepatuhan diet pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronik dengan hemodialisa. Adanya hubungan tersebut dapat mempengaruhi keadaan psikologis pasien menjadi lebih bersemangat dan termotivasi, sehingga kepatuhan diet pasien meningkat.

Abstract

Pergeseran life style yang terjadi pada masyarakat Indonesia, pola konsumsi tiggi kalori, tinggi gula sederhana dan rendah serat serta tidak diimbangi dengan aktivitas fisik yang cukup. Edukasi gizi dapat diterapkan untuk mencegah peningkatan prevalensi obesitas dan overweight. Pendekatan pada klien diperlukan dalam rangka pemecahan masalah untuk mengubah pola hidup menjadi lebih sehat dan lebih baik. Siswa usia sekolah dasar cenderung menyukai buku bergambar dalam bentuk realistis atau kartun. Komik memiliki fungsi media visual yang baik dalam membantu meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi seimbang dan diharapkan akan berpengaruh kepada perilaku gizi seimbang. Tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian edukasi komik isi piringku terhadap energi pada anak sekolah dasar dengan status gizi lebih. Penelitian quasi eksperiment ini melibatkan 60 siswa yang dibagi menjadi kelompok perlakuan dengan pemberian edukasi komik isi piringku dan kelompok kontrol pemberian edukasi tanpa komik isi piringku. Analisis data energi pada kedua kelompok menggunakan uji paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara energi sebelum dan sesudah pemberian edukasi komik isi piringku pada kelompok perlakuan (P=0,000), sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol tidak memiliki pengaruh (p = 0.897). Kesimpulan adalah pemberian edukasi menggunakan komik isi piringku berpengaruh menurunkan energi pada siswa sekolah dasar yang memiliki status gizi lebih. Abstract

Background. Obesity is still a problem throughout the world with an increasing prevalence where one of the causes is due to a lack of knowledge about obesity.The research objective was to see the effect of animated video and scrapbooks on increase knowledge of obesity. Method. The type of research used is quasi-experimental with pretest and posttest with the group design approach. The total sample size is 30 high school of classes X, XI, and XII with simple random sampling. The analysis used is the Paired T-Test and independent T-Test. Result. The results showed that the pretest averages score of knowledge in the video animation group is 61,34 and the posttest average score is 91,11. In the scrapbook group, the average pretest score was 70,67and the average value posttest 83,11. The average posttest score in animated video group was higher than scrapbook group. Conclusions. Animated videos and scrapbooks are good nutrition education media that can increase the knowledge of obesity in high school or vocational high school students. However, animated video is more effective seen from the higher average value of knowledge.

Abstract

Background : The prevalence of dysmenorrhea in Indonesia is 64.25% which consists of 54.89% of primary dysmenorrhea. Dysmenorrhea greatly affects adolescents age of school because it causes disruption of daily activities. According to information from the UKS watchman the data obtainable during January - August 2019 were found to be 5.9% with complaints of dysmenorrhea at various of pain levels.. Objectives : This research was to knowing the correlation between menstruation duration, fast food consumption and physical activity with primary dysmenorrhea in female students. Methods: This type of research is analytic observational using cross sectional design.The research sample was part of class X and XI students taken by purposive sampling with inclusion and exclusion criteria. The variables studied were primary dysmenorrhea, menstruation duration, fast food consumption and physical activity. Data collection using google form. Data analysis using Rank Spearman correlation test. Results: The students experienced primary dysmenorrhea with a grade 1 of 39.3% and the lowest grade 3 of 6%, normal menstrual duration of 53.6%, often fast food consumption of 63.1%, mostly moderate physical activity. Conclusions: There is a correlation between menstrual periods, fast food consumption and physical activity with primary dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

Kegemukan dan obesitas didefinisikan sebagai akumulasi lemak abnormal atau berlebih yang dapat mengganggu kesehatan. Indeks massa tubuh (BMI) merupakan indeks sederhana dari berat badan- terhadap tinggi badan-yang biasa digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan kelebihan berat badan dan obesitas pada orang dewasa. Produk muffin dalam penelitian ini adalah muffin terbuat dengan penambahan tepung jagung manis sehingga diharapkan meningkatkan kandungan gizi dan warna yang menarik pada muffin. Pemilihan produk ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produtivitas pertanian guna mewujudkan ketahanan pangan dalam rangka ketahanan nasional. Selain itu untuk mengembangkan produk muffin sehat, ekonomis dan bergizi sebagai alternative MP-ASI pencegah obesitas di usia anak-anak. Oleh karenanya peneliti berniat meneliti tentang “Tingkat Kesukaan dan nilai gizi muffin dengan penambahan tepung jagung (Zea Mays L)”. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan. dengan 4 kali pengulangan. Bahan yang digunakan: muffin dengan penambahan tepung jagung manis dengan formula F1; 0 g, F2; 82,5 g, F3; 123,5 g, F4; 164,5 g dan air putih 1 gelas. Data hasil variabel uji tingkat kesukaan akan dianalisis menggunakan uji T Test baik univariat, bivariat dan multivariat. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan dari keempat formula muffin. Abstract

The use of anchovy flour and soy protein isolate to be processed into biscuits has the potential to be an appropriate PMT Supplementary Feeding for undernourished toddlers than biscuits on the market. This study aims to determine the effect of substitution of anchovy flour and soy protein isolate on the nutritional content and acceptability of PMT-P biscuits. This research is a complete experimental design, namely anchovy flour biscuits with soy protein isolate. This research is included in the field of food technology and society. The method used in this study used an experimental method with one factor being tried, namely the proportion of wheat flour compared to anchovy flour and soybean protein isolate consisting of 5 levels, namely: P1 = 100% : 0%; P2 = 80% : 20%; P3 = 60% : 40%; P4 = 40% : 60%; P5 = 20% : 80%. The experimental design used in this study was a completely randomized design. Each treatment was repeated 3 times to obtain 15 experimental units. The results of the calcium content in biscuits are known by laboratory tests, and acceptability will be carried out by hedonic test (preferred level) while statistical analysis by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) test with 95% confidence level. The results showed that the highest average Calcium (Ca) content is P4 (formula 4) which is 1.32 mg Calcium content. The results of the ANOVA test are known to be p < 0.05 so that it can be concluded that there are differences in the content of Calcium in each treatment and preference test in the research that has been carried out and the analysis of color, texture, taste, aroma can be well received by consumers.

Abstract

Gaplek flour and melinjo leaves are food ingredients with good nutritional content, one of which is high in fiber. High fiber in foods including snacks can help prevent central obesity in adolescents. This study aims to analyze consumer acceptance of the addition of cassava flour and melinjo leaves to pukis. The research procedure starts from procuring cassava flour, melinjo leaves, chicken seasoning balado, processing the pukis formulation, hedonic test, analyzing the nutritional content of the selected formula, calculating the %ALG of the selected formula, and analyzing production costs. Pukis F1 (40% wheat flour: 60% gaplek flour + 40% melinjo leaves) was determined as the selected formula based on the hedonic test results. Pukis F1 in 100 g contains 243 cal energy, 14,5 g protein, 6,1 g fat, 42,5 g carbohydrate, and 18,5 g dietary fiber. Pukis with the addition of gaplek flour and melinjo leaves per serving (45 g) contributed 6% energy, 11% protein, 4% fat, 6% carbohydrate, and 28% dietary fiber.
