Abstract

This paper focuses on the discussion of normative and historical (factual) Islam in the context of the integrative-interconnected epistemological pilgrimage in education. This study uses descriptive analytic methods, which explore the concepts offered by scientists, especially by M. Amin Abdullah. This study found that applying integrative-interconnected epistemology by intertwining the three successors: Hadharat an-Nash (Text Culture and Turats), Hadharat al-'Ilm (Science Culture) and Hadharat al-Falasafah (Philosophical-Ethical Culture), which believed to be able to neutralize or at least break the ice between normative Islam and historical Islam, and also the achievements of truth that would be produced would certainly be much closer to a more comprehensive truth than if it were done with just one epistemological category. Islamic education, both as an institution and as a subject or subject, including research and development of Islamic sciences, especially those with an epistemological paradigm, integrative-interconnected, become strategic instruments for expressing the ideals of moral ideals in Islam, then achieving them so that peace is reconciled advise that apart from domination and repressiveness as a tangible form of Islamic character rahmatan li al-'alamin in the social reality of life is increasingly functional.

Abstract

The purpose of this present study is to identify the Tyler curriculum development model and its implications in learning Islamic Religious Education in school.  This study employed a qualitative approach and literature study method. The results of this study showed that the conditions as the time progresses undeniably were in demands of curriculum development. The Tyler curriculum model had its own strengths and weaknesses. In fact, the model only emphasized the aspect of objectives, regardless of the ongoing educational process. Therefore, as an implication, it is obvious that the Tyler curriculum development model needed to be developed and it in fact should be viewed from various aspects, especially with regard to Islamic Religious Education which had its own distinguishing characteristics in establishing the values of faith, piety, and noble character. Therefore, Islamic Religious Education teaching and learning processes undeniably should focus on the ongoing educational processes, not merely to the evaluation held at the end of the learning process.

Abstract

Concerning the pandemic COVID-19, which was designated as a national disaster, the Ministry of Education and Culture issued a policy that every unit of education should transform face-to-eye learning into distance learning. In the context of Islamic education in college, the policy forced all actors of Islamic education to change the culture or customs of learning into distance-learning or online. This qualitative descriptive research seeks to describe systematically, scientifically, and factual descriptions, challenges, and strategies of ICT optimization/ utilization on each component of the lecture as a learning solution during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The data collection methods used in this study are document content with data analysis using latent content analysis. The challenges faced in building a culture of online lectures are unqualified infrastructure, different socio-economic factors, the unpreparedness of human resources (resistance to change, attitudes and confidence, minimal digital skills), and resource accessibility. Constructing the culture of online lectures on Islamic education needs to pay attention to several aspects such as expected outcomes, required financing, responsibilities, resource requirements, and evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to explain some material descriptions of fiqh siyasah covering four things, namely an explanation of the theory of fiqh siyasah in madrasas and schools, factors of fiqh siyasah, the urgency of fiqh siyasah in madrasas and schools and implementation of fiqh siyasah in madras and schools. Therefore, this study explores the theory of fiqh siyasah in madras and schools. The author describes the concept of fiqh siyasah in science, which discusses matters for the affairs of the State. The people of various forms of regulations, laws, and policies. That have been made by leaders who agree with or are in line with the basic teachings of the Sharia in order to realize the benefit of the people. In its implementation, the concept of fiqh can be seen in madrasas so that a comprehensive level of inculcating these fiqh values can be achieved. Therefore, this is very important to be taught to average students. If at the previous school level, students were only required to be able to understand the existing doctrines in fiqh. According to one or more schools, then in this madrasas an understanding of a difference of opinion or view in the prediction of fiqh learning is given. In addition, students must also be able to implement the science of fiqh. In everyday life so that, this becomes a form so that the goals of Islamic education are achieved.
