Abstract

This study seeks to determine the impact of the make a match learning model on student learning outcomes in English class IV SD Negeri 066050 Medan Learning Year 2022/2023. The research method used is experimental quantitative research methodology. To obtain information in the form of data, a test instrument of 30 questions is needed. The number of research samples was 30 students based on purposive sample technique. To see the initial ability of students, the study conducted a Pre Test with the results representing a set of scores of 59.87 which fell into the category of less. The results of the Post Test are better than the results of the Pre Test given previously with the average value of the students reaching 80.17 in the excellent category. The results of the calculation of the correlation coefficient show an increase in the level of student learning success where 14rhitung">  ≥ 14 rtable"> l with the results of 0.770 ≥ 0.361. Furthermore, hypothesis testing is to compare the value of 14thitung "> ≥ 14ttabel"> . Obtained the value of 14thitung"> = 6.387 while 14ttable"> = 1.697. Because 14tcount">  ≥ 14ttable">  (6.387 ≥ 1.697) then H_a is accepted and H_o is rejected. Through the t-test, it can be concluded that the make a match learning model has a positive impact on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study implemented the Student Team Achievement Division model to enhance collaboration skills and student learning outcomes at SD Santo Petrus Medan. In the classroom action research (PTK), 33 Phase A Class I students in the 2023/2024 academic year participated. The research method encompassed planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, utilizing data collection methods like tests, observation, and documentation. Qualitative descriptive analysis, based on process and product success criteria, was employed. Results indicated a significant rise in applying Student Team Achievement Division and student collaboration skills. Notably, improvements were observed in conveying goals and motivating students (68.75% to 93.75%), presenting information (50% to 87.5%), organizing students into learning groups (29.17% to 87.5%), guiding learning and working groups (46.43% to 92.86%), evaluating learning through quizzes (56.25% to 81.25%), and giving awards (83.33% to 91.67%). Collaboration skills also showed enhancements, including positive interdependence (5.30% to 60.60%), face-to-face interaction (10.10% to 64.64%), individual accountability and responsibility (18.93% to 71.97%), communication (0% to 48.48%), and group work (6.06% to 84.84%). Moreover, student learning outcomes improved notably in proficiency (from 60.61% to 96.97%) and competency (from 5.15% to 3.03%). Recommendations involve boosting teacher creativity, curriculum review, and enhancing learning strategies for comprehensive learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design to measure the influence of the interactive media Wordwall Quiz on students' Indonesian language learning outcomes. The research was conducted with a sample of 20 class V students at SD Mekarsari. Data were analyzed using normality tests and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS 29 for Windows. The research hypothesis is that there is a change in the value of the Indonesian language after using interactive media based on Wordwall Quiz. The research results showed that there was a significant increase in post-test scores compared to the pre-test in Indonesian language subjects after using the Wordwall Quiz learning media. The average student pre-test score was 55.50, while the average post-test score reached 81.60. These results indicate that the use of interactive media Wordwall Quiz is effective in improving student learning outcomes. The statistical test using the paired sample test shows a t value of -6.772 with a significance level of 0.001, which shows that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the interactive media Wordwall Quiz can have a positive and significant influence on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in unit length conversion is still a problem that must be solved at SDN Ganeas I and II. The students still can't understand the concept of unit length conversion correctly. Therefore, in the learning activities, need a new innovations learning models. This research purpose to determine AIR (Auditory, Intelectually, Repetition) learning model on the concept of length unit conversion for students grade IV of elementary school. The research method used is a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group research design. Data collection with observation and tests. The tests used are pretest and posttest, the sample was grade IV students SDN Ganeas II as the experimental class and grade IV students of SDN Ganeas I as the control class.Data processing techniques using normality tests, homogenenity, t-tests, Mann withney tests, normalized gain tests, with the help of SPSS 26.The results of the study, with using the Mann-Whitney test obtained a p-value of 0.000<0.005,then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, so it is concluded that there is an improvement in students' abilities with the AIR (Auditory, Intelectually, Repetition) learning model.

Abstract

The low mathematics learning outcomes of class VI students at SD 3 Purwosari is due to the fact that learning is still teacher-centered and has not utilized learning media so that effective and appropriate solutions and innovations are needed so that mathematics learning achieves the expected learning objectives. One of the innovations that can be applied to learning mathematics is the use of KAHI  media. The aims of this study were 1) to examine the differences before and after applying KAHI media to students' mathematics learning outcomes, 2) to find out the increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes before and after applying KAHI Media. This research is a quantitative research type of pre-experimental design using one group pretest-posttest. The hypothesis test used is the Paired Sample t Test and the N-Gain test. The results of the Paired Sample t Test obtained a significance value of 0.000<0.05 indicating that there was a significant difference between learning before and after applying the KAHI media. The results of the N-Gain test obtained 45% results in the medium category, so it can be concluded that the use of KAHI media is effective for the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VI elementary school students.

Abstract

Developing effective and interesting learning media is very important in the educational process, especially at the elementary school level. This article discusses the development of art learning media assisted by Filmora video editing software at Cinta Rakyat Elementary School 104208. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) based on the model proposed by Borg and Gall. Research steps include initial research and information gathering, planning, product draft development, initial field trials, product revisions, main field trials, final product revisions, and dissemination. The research results show that the use of Filmora in art learning is effective in increasing students' interest, understanding and art skills. Students are more enthusiastic and creative in taking art lessons using Filmora-assisted learning media compared to conventional methods. Teachers also find it easy to convey art material in a more interactive and interesting way. This learning media helps students learn more practically and contextually, which in turn increases their understanding of the material being taught. Thus, the development of art learning media assisted by Filmora can be an innovative solution to improve the quality of art learning in elementary schools. It is hoped that this article can be a reference for educators in utilizing technology to create a more enjoyable and meaningful learning experience for students.

Abstract

Mathematics learning aims to develop students' abilities in solving problems. Mathematics learning is expected to provide students with experience, both in solving mathematical problems and everyday life problems. This article aims to reveal the power of lidimatics, an innovation in mathematics learning using sticks with a qualitative approach using literature studies and a neuroscience approach. By analyzing the results of previous research contained in the article search engine or Google Scholar. With linguistic media, students can easily understand the concept of multiplication through direct experience, reducing the need for memorization and increasing their understanding. As an effective alternative, the linguistic multiplication method illustrates that a creative approach can help students overcome mathematical difficulties better. Through a neuroscience approach in learning mathematics, it provides deep insight into the cognitive processes involved in learning mathematics.
