Journal Lisanuna: The present this journal is a place for lecturers in the Departement of Arabic Language Education Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teachers and Lecturers of UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh to general channel their ideas the study of Arabic and learning, as well as observers forum and Arabic educational practitioners to distribute writing, ideas study and insights, both from within the UIN Ar-Raniry campus environment and from outside UIN Ar-Raniry campus, including Arabic teachers at Madrasah and Public School. Currently, there is still minimal media to facilitate Arabic scientific articles studying Arabic and learning. The Journal Lisanuna Departement Arabic Language Education Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher UIN Ar-Raniry wishes contribute to study of Arabic studies and learning too.

Abstract

Translation is an important part of students in learning Arabic, because it will help them in the learning process. But most of them face difficulties when trying to translate reading texts from Arabic to Indonesian. Difficulties of students in translation will hinder the way of achieve a goal of learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the difficulties of students in translating Arabic to Indonesian. The results of this study indicate that the difficulties faced by students include the form of translation difficulties themselves in the form of difficulties in choosing the meaning, form, and rules. And also includes several factors in the form of linguistic, non-linguistic, internal, and external factors.

Abstract

Conversation is one aspect of speaking ability and it is also one aspect of language competence. As an art of language, this cannot be achieved without practices so they can speak fluently and be understood by others. MAN 2 Sigli is one of schools located in Meureudu which puts much attention on teaching and learning Arabic, and also the students use Arabic inside and outside the school. However, the students speak less Arabic eventhough they have a lot of Arabic vocabularies. However, based on preliminary study conducted at MAN 2 Sigli. The techers still use traditional method in teaching resulting in the students difficulty in speaking. Those to overcome that problem, the researcher would like to implement discovery based learning in teaching and lerning speaking. Discovery based learning model is one 2013 curriculum and it focuses more on the use of various materials and students activities to obtain information from internet, book, magazine, etc. The aims of this study are to find out the students learning interst in using Discovery Based Learning, and to investigate the effectiveness of Discovery Based Learning in increasing the student ability in understanding conversation at MAN 2 Sigli. The research design used in this study are quantity and quantitative method based on true experimental research design. The researcher used direct observation and test as research instrument in collecting the data needed. The result of this study shows that: 1) The use of Discovery Based Learning increased the students interest is learning conversation. 2) Discovery Based Learning is effective in increasing the students speaking ability.

Abstract

كان الموضوع لهذا البحث " تطبيق طريقة المشكلات لترقية كفاءة الطلاب في القواعد النحوية " بمعهد دار السعادة تيفين رايا أتشيه ( إندونسي) . ووجد الباحث  أن أكثر الطلاب لا يستطيع أن يقرأوا  قراءة صحيحة و سليمة لأن لهم مشكلات في قواعد النحو, و لحل هذه المشكلات يحتاج إلى الطريقة الفعالة. وأما الأغراض التي يستفدفها الباحث في هذا البحث لمعرفة طريقة المشكلات الفعالة لترقية كفاءة الطلاب على القواعد النحوية و كيفية تطبيق طريقة مشكلات لترقية كفاءةهم عليها. وأما منهج البحث في هذا البحث هو منهج تجريبي, و لجميع البيانات فيعتمد الباجث على الأدوات الإختبارية و بملاحضة مباشرة.  وفي تحليل البيانات يستعمل الباحث الرموز    T tes  وهي :        ومن النتائج  المحصولة في هذا البحث أن نتيجة الإختبارات   t-tes 3,26  و أما نتيجة   t-tabel =3,055 فظهر لنا  أن نتيجة  الإختبارات   t-tes أعلى من . t-tabel وأما الفرض الذي قدمه الباجث في هذا البحث أن تطبيق طريقة المشكلات لا تؤثر في ترقية كفاءة الطلاب في القواعد النحوية و إذا نظرنا إلى نتيجة الإختبارات (t-tes  ) السابقة أن نتيجة الإختبارات t tes    أعلى  من t- table  فيكون الفرض في هذا البحث مردودا فطريقة المشكلات تكون فعالة في ترقية كفاءة ال  طلاب في القواعد النحوية.

Abstract

Ulumul quran is one of islamic boarding school in banda aceh which not only focus on tahfiz alquran but also focus in studying arabic language. Nahwu is very important in maintaining fluency and language truth. Based on the observation of researchers, students in this islamic boarding school are still many who do not understand the rules of Arabic while they are able to memorize the alquran. Researchers assume that this is due to inadequate training and teachers do not accustom the use of Qur'anic verses as an example in understanding Arabic language. To overcome this problem, researchers are interested to conduct research in the form of application of examples of Qur'anic verses in studying the rules of arabic language. Researcher choose title qawaid alarabiyah biqtibas alamtsilah minal aayatil quraniyah litarqiyati qudrati atthalabah 'alal qawaid dirasah tajribiyah bima'had ulumul quran pagar air. The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness and response of students to the use of Qur'anic verses in learning Arabic language rules. This research was an experimental research with post test only control group design. The population in this study were all students of aliyah level in ulumul quran islamic boarding school while the sample in this study were all students of class 2a and 2c. The instrument used to collect data that is post test and observation directly. The test used in this study is t test. The result of the study was the learning of Arabic rules by using Qur'anic verses could improve student’s ability in understanding Arabic rules. This can be seen from t count higher than t table or t = 1.93> from t table = 1.68, while student response in ulumul quran islamic boarding school also showed positive response seen in observation list of good value. Therefore, the research is very useful because it can increase the motivation and facilitate students in learning Arabic language and make it easier for students memorizing the Qur'anic verses in Ulumul quran islamic boarding school.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the efforts of Arabic language teachers to overcome the difficulties of learning  Arabic. The research method used is descriptive analysis. The data collection techniques used is interview Arabic language teacher. The data analysis techniques in this study use the theory of Miles and Hubberman including : Data Collection, Data Reduction, Data Display, and conclution. The efforts of Arabic language teachers to overcome the difficulties Arabic learning at MTsN 2 Aceh Selatan are The teacher give motivation to students to increase enthusias and interes students, Multiplying textbooks in the library so that students can borrow to facilitate the learning process, giving vocabularies to memorize making it easier for students to understand the material, Using media, and also use other methods in the process of learning Arabic.

Abstract

In the teaching and learning process must be accompanied by learning methods that can attract students so that enthusiasm in participating in learning, the activities chosen must be able to bridge between the knowledge that has been owned by students with new knowledge that will be received by students, especially to develop skills in incorrect language skills only reading skills of students. The bridging things are required to be able to process students' knowledge by seeing the models around them, one of which is by seeing the instructor himself. As a student who always pays attention to the movements of the instructor when teaching. The slightest thing done by the teacher will always be considered even imitated by his students. That is what makes students get lessons from how to pay attention to a model, just like the theory that was expressed by Albert Bandura who is a psychologist who emphasizes the importance of students in processing knowledge from observing the model around. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach that focuses on one particular object to be studied in-depth to be able to uncover the reality behind the phenomenon. So that the data collection techniques, researchers use observation, interviews, and documentation. While data analysis techniques are via descriptive data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data exposure, and conclusion drawing. The results obtained in this study are a combined method used in Attaufiq Salafiyah Islamic boarding school which combines the harfiyyah, soutiyyah, syllable, syllable, word method, and sentence method methods. The learning process uses four stages by following the four elements of Albert Bandura's social theory, namely the stage of attention when the teacher starts the lesson with greetings and questions students, the second stage is the stage of remembrance when associating new information with old information and expanding and detailing the material, the stage the third is the imitation stage when oral practice and giving homework to students, and the last is the motivation stage by giving praise to students to be more enthusiastic in learning.

Abstract

Arabic is a language that has a highly strict grammatical structure, both in terms of pronunciation, writing and others. The language consists of systematic rules and one of them is writing rule. This term is an important thing that must be considered. In Arabic, writing errors can be fatal, as damaging meanings or even changing meanings into other meanings. Similarly,  the rule of using hamzah at the beginning of a sentence. There are several students of high school or even in Arabic department who still make mistake in doing this, as happen to  Arabic students’department in UIN Ar Raniry. The purpose of this research is to analyze the students’ ability of Arabic department in UIN Ar Raniry in writing hamzah at the beginning of Arabic words. This research took 128 Arabic students’department in UIN Ar Raniry in 2020/2021 as population. Then, the researcher chose 15 students in unit five to be a sample. This research used descriptive analyze and quantitave method to analyzed the data. In this research, the researcher collected the data from the question’s answer that given by researcher to the resondent. Therefore, this data was analyzed by the researcher through percentage formula. The result showed that  the students’ ability of Arabic department in UIN Ar Raniry in writing hamzah at the beginning of arabic words is low. It related to the average value of the correct answer is only 58,66%.

Abstract

To conduct the education process during the Corona pandemic, universities and schools benefited from educational technology. This research aims to identify the benefit of educational technology, the so-called e-learning, in the education process. As for the method of this research, it is a descriptive and analytical approach when the researcher analyzes the various teory related to e-learning in the education process. The results of the research are that e-learning helps the teacher and students in the education process during the Corona pandemic. E-learning does not eliminate the role of the teacher, but rather his role becomes more important.

Abstract

Arabic language learning purposes to encourage, guide, develop, and enhance Arabic languages.Skills included listening, speaking, reading and writing. In the fact, the Arabic language learning has some problems. The aim of this study is to analyze various problems in learning of Arabic language. The method used in this study is descriptive methode, which is a study that collects data in the form of words and picture without number. The results of this study indicate that two big problems in learning Arabic language, there are linguistic problems and non linguistic problems. The linguistic problems included sound, vocabularies, structure and writing. Non-linguistic problems included teachers, motivaties, fasilities, socio cultural, textbooks, characteristics, methods and times.

Abstract

The title of this research is about "The Problem of Students in Making an Example of the Nahwu’s Grammar (Study of Analysis in Ulumuddin Foundation Lhokseumawe)". As for the circumstances of students in Ulumuddin Foundation in Nahwu's lesson, the students are able to memorize Nahwu’s grammar such as mubtada ', khabar, fi'il, fa'il and other Nahwu’s grammar, but most of them are not able to make an example of the Nahwu's grammar. The purpose of this study to determine the problems of students in making an example of the Nahwu’s grammar and know the solution of teachers in solving the problem. The research method used is analytical research that is analyzing the obtained from the field with direct observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results show that the problems faced by students in making examples of Nahwu's grammar because of the lack of Arabic vocabulary memorized, unable to apply the vocabulary in sentence form according to Nahwu's grammar, and the lack of enthusiasm of students in asking the teacher, and the teacher did not provide additional lessons to students due to time constraints. While the solution offered by the teacher to the students is the teacher gives a lot of vocabulary, then applied the vocabulary into the sentence, give examples from the verses of al-Qur'an and al-Hadist, and provide training once a week and teachers teach Nahwu with various methods so that students do not get bored.
