Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe the language attitudes of XI grade students of State Senior High School 1 Geumpang towards the Indonesian language. The total number of students in grade XI students of the school for the 2019/2020 school year was 120 students. As many as 30 students were chosen as research respondents by using a random sampling technique. This research used a quantitative descriptive approach. The data were collected using questionnaires distributed to students. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed by using the Likert Scale to measure attitude, with answer categories ranging from Strongly Agree (SA), Agree (A), Doubt (D), Disagree (DA), and Strongly Disagree (SD). All data obtained from the questionnaires were coded to facilitate the data analysis. The data processing was carried out in several stages, i.e. compiling the questions in the questionnaire, asking students to fill out a questionnaire, and analyzing the data. The data were classified into two groups, i.e. positive and negative attitudes. The results revealed that grade XI students of State Senior High School 1 of Geumpang showed a positive attitude towards the Indonesian language.

Abstract

Leadership is a series of activities to influence others in achieving certain goals. Achieving goals in an organization are very dependent on the leadership used by the leader, this shows that leadership includes at least three which are interconnected, namely the existence of followers, the existence of group situations, and members interacting with each other. The principal of madrasah is the key to the success and progress of improving the quality of madrasah. Because madrasah is an educational institution organization in which it must have a qualified leader. A quality leader will be able to bring the madrasah towards the goals it is trying to achieve and be able to overcome the various obstacles it faces. In Islamic education institutions, namely schools, the head of the madrasah will bring the madrasah to the goal of achieving the quality of the madrasah according to what has been targeted.

Abstract

The prejudice and conflict caused by differences of tribe, faith, and group as well as students background can be pressed by multiculturalism of Islamic education. The Islamic education gives positive influence to acknowledgement and appreciation of differences in tribe, faith, and students’ background. The implementation of Islamic education learning in the multiculturalism perspective can be seen in the application of cooperative learning model where various groups (tribe, faith, race and intergroup) allows students to interact across culture so that students can have multicultural competencies.

Abstract

The situational approach as an approach toward the leadership requires that a leader must be understand with the behavior, nature and character of his subordinates, and the situation before using a certain style or type of leadership. This approach requires leaders to have the ability to diagnose human behavior. The success of a leader according to situational theory is determined by the characteristics of leadership with certain behaviors that are adjusted to the demands of the leadership situation and organizational situations faced by accounting the factors of space and time.

Abstract

One of the most important matters discussed is about Islamic Education, especially for Muslims today. Islamic education always develops according to changing times, for that reason, Islamic education must be designed to follow the path of change, so as not to be left behind by the development of the era itself. Regarding this matter, Gus Dur has discussed Islamic education with his thoughts which are closely related to the concepts of multicultural education, neomodernism and liberation which are very relevant to the conditions of the times in the millennial era today. It is therefore important to know the relevance of Gus Dur's perspective of Islamic education in the millennial era. This research is a qualitative research type of library (library reseach), data collection techniques using methods that rely on reference studies and study of literary texts with descriptive and historical approaches from the source, namely: books, journals and articles related to the topic of discussion. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the thinking of K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid regarding Islamic education is very relevant to the times in the millennial era, especially in Indonesia.

Abstract

The idea of the education supervisor profession ethics code departs from the reality of some existing education supervisors who ignore the values of morality and lack of a strong awareness to heed professional ethics when providing professional expert services to teachers even though the professional actors already have a professional code of ethics as the moral standard. One solution for teachers to remain professional in teaching is by upholding ethics, professionalism, and discipline. The code of ethics of the supervisory profession in principle contains moral values that underlie professional personality, namely responsibility, justice, autonomy, and moral integrity. Professional supervisor ethics cannot be separated from Islamic ethical values on the basis of understanding of the Qur'an and Hadith, so basically, the code of ethics of the education supervisor profession should be in line with the Islamic values.

Abstract

Pemahaman peserta didik terhadap Mata Pelajaran Agama Islam dapat dikatakan baik apabila ranah afektif, kognitif dan psikomotor telah terintegrasi. Hal ini tidak akan terwujud jika miss-komunkasi antara pendidik dan peserta didik. Tidak menutup kemungkinan juga bahwa ketiga ranah tersebut tidak memiliki standar penilaian dari pendidik. Untuk melihat realita di lapangan peneliti mengambil lokasi penelitian di SMP Negeri 1 Delima Pidie. Aspek yang akan dibahas adalah bagaimana pemahaman peserta didik dalam ranah afektif, kognitif dan psikomotor terhadap mata pelajaran Agama Islam di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Delima Pidie dan apa saja kendala yang dihadapi peserta didik dalam memahami Mata Pelajaran Agama Islam serta bagaimana solusi bagi peserta didik dalam memahami Mata Pelajaran Agama Islam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dan penelitian kepustakaan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes dan wawancara. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif analitis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik dalam ranah afektif berdasarkan rubrik pengamatan dinilai baik dengan indikator 80 – 100% (15 orang dari 25 siswa) memenuhi aspek yang diamati. Untuk ranah kognitif persentase hanya menunjukkan 55% (13 orang dari 25 siswa) yang mampu  dan menyelesaikan semua soal yang diberikan. Sedangkan untuk ranah psikomotorik tes dilakukan dengan unjuk kerja praktik melafazkan dan menuliskan ayat Al-Qur’an dari 25 siswa 14 orang memperoleh score 91-100 artinya siswa mampu mengekspesikan pemahaman terhadap materi. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi peserta didik adalah ketidakmampuan dalam memahami materi dan suasana kelas yang tidak variatif. Agar peserta didik merespon secara positif, pendidik perlu melakukan variasi metode sesuai dengan materi yang diajarkan. Ada dua macam pendekatan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman pada individu yaitu: pertama menitik beratkan kepada pengajaran individual untuk memenuhi kebutuhan individu. Kedua berusaha memenuhi perbedaan individu dengan mengorganisir kegiatan-kegiatan belajar yang perlu bagi peserta didik dalam hubungannya dengan kegiatan kelompok.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the moral values contained in Bobo Magazine. The sources of data in this study were 12 short stories in Bobo Magazine from January to December 2019. The data in this study were short stories published in Bobo Magazine in 2019. The method used in this study was a descriptive qualitative method with content analysis. Data collection used the documentation method using reading techniques and note-taking techniques. The results of the study stated that 12 short stories in the analyzed Bobo Magazine had moral values in them. First, moral values related to oneself are (1) brave, (2) self-confidence, (3) hard work, (4) confidence, (5) self-defense, (6) not blaming others, (7) feeling curious, (8) healthy living, (9) self-awareness, (10) independent, (11) patient, (12) enterprising, (13) discipline, (14) diligent, and (15) enthusiasm. Second, moral values relating to others include (1) courtesy, (2) not disturbing others, (3) being helpful, (4) being friends, (5) being kind to others, (6) being friendly, (7) negotiating, (8) caring, (9) returning people's property, (10) not stealing, (11) keeping promises, (12) being kind to parents, (13) advising each other, (14) respect, (15) intimacy , (16) obedient, (17) longing for family, (18) orderly, (19) love to give, (20) cooperation, and (21) not fighting. Third, the moral value of human relations with God, there is only one moral value, namely prayer. Fourth, the human relationship with the natural environment there is only one moral value, namely plant love. The moral values that were delivered directly that appeared in the 2019 Bobo Magazine were 73 short story quotes. Submission through the characters contained in 40 citations while through the description of the authors contained in 33 citations. In the technique of delivering moral values indirectly that appears as many as 3 data quotations, namely through events in the short story.

Abstract

The challenges faced by the Prophets, in the form of physical intimidation to mental intimidation, did not only come from their followers and even from their own families. Library Research research was carried out with a qualitative approach, which aims to obtain input in the development of a curriculum that is relevant to the development of human life in their respective times. The results of this study conclude that Prophet Ibrahim used a very simple, yet very decisive method. Namely the dialogical persuasion method, with very communicative and diplomatic word choices. However, in the end, history determined differently that it turned out that the Prophet's own families did not guarantee that someone would easily be given guidance by God.

Abstract

Buku filsafat pendidikan Islami karya Ahmad Tafsir lebih mengarah pada filsafat pendidikan (umum). Namun, menurut beliau setelah mempertimbangkan kata Islam masih perlu dipertahankan, maka judul buku tersebut menjadi filsafat pendidikan Islami. Isinya mengenai banyak hal tentang pendidikan yang dibimbing oleh ajaran Islam karena penulis buku ini adalah Muslim. Menurut pendapat saya, ini adalah alasan yang tidak begitu logis. Jadi seolah-olah buku filsafat pendidikan Islam diberikan judul ini karena agama penulis, yaitu Islam. Selanjutnya dalam buku ini banyak yang ditulis bukan filsafat pendidikan Islam melainkan filsafat pendidikan umum (barat). Tetapi menurut penulis buku ini, hal itu tidak bisa dihindari, biasanya itu hanya ilustrasi untuk memudahkan konsep filsafat untuk dipahami. Sedangkan buku filsafat pendidikan Islam karya Drs. Muhammad As Said, M.Pd.I, tidak menjelaskan secara terang benderang asal muasal filsafat pendidikan Islam. Dalam buku tersebut malah lebih banyak mengutip dan membahas filsafat pendidikan barat. Buku ini juga menjelaskan bahwa filsafat umum mempunyai hubungan yang sangat erat dengan filsafat pendidikan sebab pendidikan merupakan pelaksana dari pandangan filsafat dan kaidahnya dalam bidang pengalaman kemanusiaan yang disebut pendidikan. Namun tidak dijelaskan hubungan antara filsafat Islam dengan filsafat pendidikan Islam dan belum terlihat secara jelas kerangka dasar bangunan filsafat pendidikan Islam. Isi dari kedua buku tersebut juga lebih banyak membahas masalah filsafat umum seperti idealisme, realisme neoskolatisme, pragmatisme, dan eksistensialisme.
