Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Financial Knowledge on Financial Decision-Making, with Risk Perception as an intervening variable among Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) owners in Lombok Island. The research adopts a quantitative approach with explanatory research design. The population includes all SMEs in Lombok, with a sample of 35 SMEs involved in the pottery craft industry that have engaged in export activities, selected using judgment sampling. The respondents are the owners of these SMEs, who participated through questionnaires. Data were analyzed using Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). The findings reveal that Risk Perception does not mediate the relationship between Financial Knowledge and Financial Decision-Making. However, Financial Knowledge has a significant negative effect on Risk Perception, and Risk Perception has a significant negative effect on Financial Decision-Making. These results are influenced by the characteristics of the respondents, who are mostly in their productive age, predominantly male, with education levels ranging from high school to university, and have been in business for over 15 years

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of extension workers based on gender, the level of success of farmer groups in this case in behavior change, and the relationship between the role of extension workers and changes in the behavior of farmer groups. The research was conducted in Taliwang District using survey techniques. Structured interviews were conducted with 48 farmer respondents and in-depth interviews with extension workers. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, different test statistics, and Spearman's rank correlation. Research has found that female extension workers have a higher role than men, the level of behavior change in members of the farmer groups assisted by female extension workers is higher than in male extension workers. however, there is a correlation between the roles of both male and female extension workers with an increase in changes in the behavior of farmer group members. Thus, both female and male extension workers have the same potential to change farmer behavior. It is hoped that male extension workers can take the same approach as female extension workers, namely conducting coaching to the farmer groups under their supervision very intensively and using methods appropriate to the group's characteristics.

Abstract

This research is a type of quantitative method research that aims to determine the effect of poverty on the level of education of the next generation of families in West Rangsang District, Meranti Islands Regency. This study took variables consisting of independent variables, namely poverty, and the dependent variable, namely the level of education. The data collection techniques used were documentation and questionnaires. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, it shows that poverty affects the level of education of the next generation of families by using a simple linear regression formula and hypothesis testing using the t (partial) test. The research findings show that the low level of education, especially in the Meranti Islands Regency area where the poverty rate is high. So that it causes obstacles in access to education and reduces the quality of human resources. Therefore, efforts to improve education in rural areas through economic empowerment and the role of government policies are very important to reduce poverty and encourage social progress.

Abstract

This study is an Ex Post Facto study because the independent variables are not manipulated or subjected to specific treatments; instead, they are analyzed based on symptoms that appeared in respondents before the study's initiation. Adopting a cause-and-effect approach of "if x then y," this study does not involve direct control over the independent variables. Three variables are examined: two independent variables, Multimedia and Critical Thinking, and one dependent variable, the Effectiveness of the e-module. The relationship between the variables is analyzed using the correlation method, while the module's effectiveness is assessed through a quasi-experiment involving four control classes and four experimental classes. The study's results indicate that: (1) Multimedia and Critical Thinking collectively influence the Effectiveness of the E-learning Module, (2) Multimedia has a significant individual effect, whereas Critical Thinking has only a minimal impact, and (3) the Paired Samples t-test reveals an increase in learning outcomes, with an average difference of -13.92 between the Pre-Test and Post-Test. The regression analysis yielded a value of 71.314, categorizing it as effective. This e-learning module has demonstrated considerable effectiveness in enhancing understanding related to Multimedia.

Abstract

This study aims to address problems in PPKn learning, particularly the low independence of student learning. Previous research has been limited and has not succeeded in achieving quality learning that integrates self-regulated learning (SRL), portfolios, and high-order thinking skills (HOTS), even though PPKn should encompass cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains in an integrated manner. This study develops a portfolio-based SRL learning model supported by HOTS, along with syntax and guidelines applicable in PPKn study programs and schools. The method employed is research and development (R&D) to produce and validate products during the one semester. The stages include planning, development, testing, revision, and dissemination. The results indicate that, first, the design of SRL-based learning development and portfolios integrated with HOTS has enabled students to engage in critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-reflection in line with the needs of the PPKn study program. Second, the products generated include learning guides for lecturers and students, portfolios of lecture assignments, and evaluation instruments to assess the effectiveness of learning models based on high-order thinking skills

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the marketing mix in enhancing customer satisfaction in the Riau Garden Food Court, Pekanbaru. Using a qualitative method with a grounded theory approach, the research involved 14 informants, including culinary business owners and customers. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using open, axial, and selective coding techniques. The results indicate that the 4P marketing mix (product, price, promotion, and place) has been implemented but remains suboptimal. Customers expressed satisfaction with the variety of products, unique flavors, and the strategic and comfortable location. However, dissatisfaction arose concerning high prices and subpar promotional efforts. This study recommends improving pricing strategies with affordable options and enhancing promotion through consistent social media efforts. These findings provide new insights into the importance of collaboration between food court managers and business owners to optimize the marketing mix and boost customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Agroforestry practices in Community Forests are considered to be one of the collaborative management strategies with communities around forest areas. Forest farmers, as the primary actors in HKm management, contribute to forest management and benefit economically from land use. Forest farmers' income can be affected by production parameters such as land area, plant number, and agricultural infrastructure. This study examines the correlation between various production parameters of agroforestry-based HKm management, particularly their impact on HKm farmers' income. The study was conducted in Central Lombok Regency and West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. Results showed a positive relationship in almost all agroforestry production factors with HKm farmers' incomes. The significant correlation between the ownership of multi-purpose tree species (MPTS) and agroforestry plants, HKm land area, costs, and revenue of HKm farmers suggests that forest farmers engage in agroforestry activities on a large scale.

Abstract

Food is a basic necessity that must be fulfilled daily, and its demand increases with population growth, making food security crucial. Farmer households in arid regions rely heavily on agriculture for income and food, but limited resources and climate change can affect their food security. This study aims to analyze the food security of dryland farming households in Jerowaru District, East Lombok Regency, using a quantitative descriptive method with primary and secondary data. A snowball sampling technique was used, involving 30 respondents. Data collection took place in November 2024, and Microsoft Excel was used for analysis. The study found that 28 (93.33%) farming families are food secure, while 2 (6.67%) are food insecure. Despite the high level of food security, the presence of food insecurity in some households highlights the need for local government intervention to prevent vulnerability among these farming families.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Job Training Centers (BLK) in reducing unemployment in Pidie Regency. Using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, the research incorporates observations and interviews with BLK trainees and instructors. The findings reveal that BLK has successfully contributed to reducing unemployment by training 5,220 participants over the past five years. Of these, 55% secured jobs, 35% are still seeking employment, and 10% were unsuccessful. Competency-based training emphasizing practice (75%) over theory (25%) positively impacted participants' skills and confidence. However, limited facilities and capacity hinder the absorption of prospective trainees. This study recommends improving training facilities, developing mobile training programs, and collaborating with other institutions to expand training outreach. BLK is expected to continue serving as a solution for enhancing employability and reducing unemployment in Pidie Regency.

Abstract

The development and increasing penetration of the internet have driven significant changes in Indonesia's business landscape, particularly in digital payment patterns. One innovation in digital payment systems is the Quick Response Indonesia Standard (QRIS), which standardizes non-cash payments using QR Codes. This study aims to examine the influence of Perceived Risk and Trust on the decision to use QRIS in Mataram City. This associative study targets residents of Mataram City who use QRIS as a non-cash payment method. A total of 100 respondents were selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques included interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, while data analysis employed multiple linear regression. The results indicate that both Perceived Risk and Trust have a positive and significant influence on the decision to use QRIS. These findings provide insights for Bank Indonesia to expand QRIS networks, minimize risks, and enhance public trust in QRIS as an efficient digital payment solution.
