Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian expost facto yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan penalaran matematis dan gaya kognitif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi dan koneksi pada materi statistika di kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri di kota Palu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri di kota Palu tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan two-stage proporsional stratified simple random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 1 di SMA Negeri 1 Palu, XI IPA-1 di SMA Negeri 3 Palu, XI IPA-2 di SMA Negeri 4 Palu, XI IPA-1 di SMA Negeri 6 Palu, dan XI IPA di SMA Negeri 8 Palu. Banyaknya sampel adalah 138 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan penalaran matematis, Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT), tes kemampuan komunikasi pada materi statistika, dan tes kemampuan koneksi pada materi statistika. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistika deskriptif dan analisis statistika inferensial dengan menggunakan analisis Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tidak terdapat interaksi antara kemampuan penalaran matematis dan gaya kognitif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi dan koneksi pada materi statistika (2) tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi pada materi statistika antara siswa yang bergaya kognitif Field Independent (FI) dengan siswa yang bergaya kognitif Field Dependent (FD) (3) tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan koneksi pada materi statistika antara siswa yang bergaya kognitif FI dengan siswa yang bergaya kognitif FD (4) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi pada materi statistika antara siswa yang memiliki kemampuan penalaran matematis tinggi dengan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan penalaran matematis rendah (5) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan koneksi pada materi statistika antara siswa yang memiliki kemampuan penalaran matematis tinggi dengan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan penalaran matematis rendah.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the improvement of student learning outcomes in science subjects using the cooperative model type TGT-assisted video learning media at grade IV SDN 02 Lebak Grobogan. This type of research is Research Action class. The subject of this research is the grade IV. Data collection used are tests, documentation, and observations. Data analysis technique used is the comparative descriptive analysis of quantitative data, i.e., Comparing test scores initial conditions, test scores after the cycle I and cycle II after the test value. The results of this study showed that after given learning by applying a model of education occurs learning video rocks TGT improved preconditions from cycle to cycle I and cycle II. An increase in the application of the model proves that media video-assisted learning TGT can improve the learning results of IPA students 4th grade State 02 Lebak Grobogan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penerapan model problem based learning dengan kombinasi pendekatan saintifik dan problem posing dalam pembelajaran matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre-eksperimen.populasinya adalah semua siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa yang jumlahnya enam kelas, sedangkan sampelnya adalah kelas VIII c yang diambil secara acak. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukan bahwa data hasil belajar matematika peserta didik pada pre-test bahwa nilai rata-rata berada pada kategori sangat rendah, sedangkan pada post-test nilai rata-rata berada pada kategori tinggi. Tingkat ketuntasan secara klasikal pada pre-test dalam kategori tidak tuntas, sedangkan pada post-test dalam kategori tuntas, rata-rata gain ternormalisasi berada pada kategori sedang. Aktifitas peserta didik pada pertemuan terakhir berada pada waktu ideal, serta respon peserta didik berada pada kategori positif dengan skor rata-rata respons peserta didik mencapai 3,67. Hasil analisis inferensial menggunakan uji one sample t-test dengan bantuan SPSS 20 untuk menguji hipotesis menunjukkah bahwa data hasil belajar peserta didik pada post-test signifikan dengan nilai α = 0,05, sedangkan pada gain ternormalisasi signifikan dengan nilai α = 0,05, serta data respon peserta didik signifikan dengan nilai α = 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriktif dan inferensial dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model problem based learning dengan kombinasi pendekatan saintifik dan problem posing efektif di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain a description of student learning habits in SMA Negeri I pangkep, and to determine whether there is influence problem solving techniques in improving student learning habits. This research comparative research is experimental. The sample of research class XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2 were 32 students. Data collection technique with questionnaire while data analysis used is descriptive analysis, Barleth test and inferential statistical analysis with t-test formula. The results obtained are: the level of student learning habits in SMA Negeri I pangkep Pretest results both the experimental group and the average control group is low. After doing problem solving technique for experiment group, Postest value showed increase of study habits become high, while for control group of Postest value did not show improvement or remain in low category. Similarly, there are differences in learning habits between students who were given problem solving techniques with students who were not given problem solving techniques in SMA Negeri 1 pangkep. That is, for groups of students who are given problem solving techniques, student learning habits show improvement compared with groups of students who are not given problem solving techniques.

Abstract

This paper is initiated by the writers’ preliminary observation regarding  literary work learning activities in  the Department of Indonesian  Education and Literature State University of Gorontalo, which is still experiencing problems in its   learning process. One of the obstacles faced is that students are still lack of confidence in developing their ability to write literary works, especially writing short stories. Writing short stories based on creative literacy is a strategy given to develop the competence of learners in writing. Short story is chosen because it has an interesting characteristics so students will easily read and understand it. Using this strategy, it is expected that students are able to write short stories based on the results of their own creation. Writing short stories based on creative literacy can  manifest students’  ability in identifying various text forms, the purpose of the text, the text readers’ target, and it enables the students to use their thinking ability to organize their process of reading and writing their new work.

Abstract

This research was that aimed: 1) to know teachers academic qualification that basically from elementary education field and non elementary education field, 2) to know teachers professional attitude that basically from elementary education field and non elementary education field, 3) to know teachers learning performance that basically from elementary education field and non elementary education field 4) to find out the correlation of teacher academic qualification and learning performance that basically from elementary education field, 5) to find out the correlation of teacher academic qualification and learning performance that basically from non elementary education field, 6) to find out the correlation of teacher professional attitude and learning performance that basically from elementary education field, 7) to find out the correlation of teacher professional attitude and learning performance that basically from non elementary education field and 8) to find out the correlation of academic qualification and professional attitude to learning performance. The method used was ex post facto with correlational form. The population in the study are 28 elementary school teacher spread in 14 villages at Ajangale District Bone Regency. Researcher use population as sample in the study. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferensial. The data obtained from samples were analyzed by simple and multiple correlation. The result shows: 1) Teacher academic qualification are basically from non elementary education field, 2) teacher professional attitude from elementary education field are higher than non elementary education field, 3) teacher learning performance from elementary education field are higher than non elementary education field, 4) there is a positive and significant correlation of academic qualification and learning performance that basically from elementary education field, 5) there is a positive and significant correlation of academic qualification and learning performance that basically from non elementary education field, 6) there is a positive and significant correlation of professional attitude and learning performance that basically from elementary education field, 7) there is a positive and significant correlation of professional attitude and learning performance that basically from non elementary education field, and 8) there is a positive and significant correlation of academic qualification and professional attitude all together to learning performance.

Abstract

The objectives of the research are to discover (1) the description of the implementation of socio-drama , (2) the description of the students’ pro-social behaviors before and after the implementation of socio-drama technique in group guidance, (3) wether there is influence of socio-drama technique in group guidance toward the improvementof pro-social behaviors of the students. The research employed quantitative approach by using true experimental desugn in form of pretest posttest control group design. The subjects of the research were 30 students of class XI who were identified had low pro-social behaviors divided into 15 students in the experiment group and 15 students in the control group. The data collection techniques employed pro-social scale and observation. The results of the reaseacrh reveal that (1) Socio-drama technique in group guidance was implemented in four sessions; first session builds the sense of helping each other, second session builds cooperation attitude, third session builds the senseof honesty, and fourth sessions builds students’ emphaty, (2) the level of pro-social behaviors of the students at before treatment was given to the experiment and control group in this case socio-drama training in group guidance is in low category, but after treatment was given, the level of students’ pro-social behaviors in experiment group improve or in high category; whereas, students in control group are still in low category, (3) the implementation of socio-drama technique in group guidance gives positive influence significantly towards the improvement of the students pro-social behaviors, meaning that when socio-drama technique in group guidance is implemented, it helps improving pro-social behaviors of the students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat perbedaan hasil belajar IPS: (1) antara siswa yang menggunakan model pelajaran TGT dan metode ceramah bervariasi, (2) antara siswa yang motivasinya tinggi dan motivasi rendah, (3) antara siswa yang motivasi tinggi dikelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT dan metode ceramah bervariasi, (4) antara siswa yang motivasi rendah dikelas yang menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT dan metode ceramah bervariasi, (5) antara siswa yang motivasi tinggi dan motivasi rendah dikelas yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran TGT, (6) antara siswa yang motivasinya tinggi dan rendah dikelas yang menggunakan metode ceramah bervariasi, (7) untuk melihat interaktif antara model pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS. Penelitian ini merupakan factorial eksperimen 2x2. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes hasil belajar dan angket motivasi belajar, populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SDN KIP Maccini dan SD Inpres Maccino kelas V tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Sampelnya 60 siswa dari jumlah populasi, data dianalisis dengan Anova 2X2. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar IPS: (1) Siswa yang menggunakan model TGT lebih tinggi dari pada metode ceramah bervariasi, (2) siswa yang motivasinya tinggi lebih tinggi dari pada siswa yang motivasinya rendah, (3) Siswa yang motivasinya tinggi yang diajar dengan model TGT lebih tinggi prestasinya dari pada siswa yang diacara dengan model cerama bervariasi, (4) siswa yang motivasinya rendah lebih tinggi prestasinya jika diajar dengan ceramah bervariasi daripada diajar dengan TGT, (5) siswa yang motivasinya tinggi diajar dengan TGT lebih tinggi hasil belajarnya daripada siswa yang motivasinya rendah, (6) siswa yang motivasinya tinggi lebih rendah prestasinya daripada siswa yang motivasinya rendah jiak diajar dengan ceramah bervariasi, (7) terdapat pengaruh interaktif antara model pembelajar dengan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar IPS.

Research is a quasi-experimental research (quasi experiment). The results of the research are: (1) There are differences of learning model to the critical thinking ability of learners; (2) There are differences of learning model to; (3) There is a difference of students' early ability to critical thinking ability of learners; (4) There is a difference in the learner's early ability to understand the concept of the learner; (5) There is a difference between the difference in the critical thinking ability of learners with high initial ability and low initial ability taught by the learning model; (6) There is a difference between the difference in understanding the concept of learners with high initial ability and low initial ability learned by the learning model.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the qualifications of lecturers in the field of social science depended on the use of advance technology, especially the power points, the Internet, and social media site. The problem that some of the lecturers preferred to use the traditional way of teaching, such as whiteboard and marker, lectures. This study research was to observe the categories of lecturers’ knowledge, ages and gender in using technology in the classroom. Also we sought lecturers’ difficulty in using technology to conduct the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The research design in this study was a quantitative method, with giving questionnaires to 107 lecturers in Tangerang City campuses. Data collection technique was taken by conducting observation, questionnaires and interview and data analysis. The result of this study research showed that there are 5 categories of lecturers’ attitudes towards advance technology based on their knowledge, ages and gender. And the purpose of the study research is to give an opportunity to increase lecturers’ qualifications for 2st century learning process and to leverage advance technology in campuses which it is to deliver contents and to engage students and lecturers learning process in ways not previously possible.
