Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture, professional competence, and motivation on teacher performance in junior high schools in Jeunieb Subdistrict, Bireuen Regency. The research is motivated by the underutilization of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) in rural areas, highlighting the need for a holistic approach to enhance teacher performance. Using a quantitative method with an explanatory survey design, data were collected from 145 teachers through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results indicate that both organizational culture and professional competence significantly influence teacher motivation, which in turn directly affects performance. The indirect effects via motivation were stronger than direct effects. Motivation emerged as a key mediating factor linking institutional and personal variables to improved PMM engagement. The findings underscore the importance of fostering a supportive work environment, strengthening professional capacity, and enhancing intrinsic motivation to promote meaningful engagement in technology-based professional development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through e-commerce in the context of maqasid syariah, with a case study in the city of Medan. The study employs a qualitative method, with the research location in the city of Medan. The findings indicate that e-commerce significantly contributes to the development of MSMEs, particularly in developing MSMEs on e-commerce platforms that align with the principles of maqasid syariah. Some challenges faced by MSMEs in adopting e-commerce include limited digital literacy, inadequate technological infrastructure, insufficient capital, and intense competition in the online market. Therefore, future research could address these limitations by expanding the sample size and research area, as well as conducting a more in-depth examination of effective e-commerce strategies and business models for MSMEs.Keywords: MSMEs, E-Commerce, Business Development, Maqasid Syariah, Medan

Abstract

AbstractThis study analyzes the development model of the Mekar Sari Joint Business Group (KUBE) in Bengkalis Regency using a maslahah approach. KUBE Mekar Sari, a sewing business entity established in 2021, faces significant challenges in terms of sustainability and independence, particularly related to lax internal management, unsystematic financial management, and minimal member participation and effective external assistance. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. Analysis was conducted through the lens of maslahah (maqashid al-syari'ah), encompassing hifz al-Dīn, hifz al-Nafs, hifz al-‘Aql, hifz al-Nasl, and hifz al-Māl. The findings indicate that although KUBE Mekar Sari has internalized ethical values (hifz al-Dīn) and provides work flexibility that supports psychological well-being and family responsibility (hifz al-Nafs and hifz al-Nasl), there is a significant gap in the aspects of asset management (hifz al-māl) and knowledge development/participation (hifz al-‘aql). This study concludes that the KUBE Mekar Sari development model is not yet optimal in achieving holistic well-being due to fundamental weaknesses in internal management and the quality of mentoring. Therefore, it is recommended to strengthen internal management based on maslahah, improve the quality of sustainable mentoring, and develop members' capacity to achieve greater independence and sustainability. Keywords: Cooperative Business Group (KUBE), Maslahah, Economic Empowerment, Case Study, Maqashid al-Syari'ah

Using a qualitative approach and case study method, this research applies MVPO (Mission, Vision, Programs, Outcomes) analysis and SOAR analysis as analytical frameworks. The results show that Dimsum Makteng has implemented four main strategies: product diversification, marketing digitalization, human resource optimization, and operational efficiency. The main challenge lies in the use of capital from conventional banks that potentially contain elements of riba (usury). Strategic recommendations include capital restructuring using Islamic financing schemes, strengthening business practices based on Islamic values, and developing Islamic business networks. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development strategy of the palm sugar home industry owned by Mrs. Atik in Bandar Lama Village, Kualuh Selatan Subdistrict, Labuhanbatu Utara Regency, using the SWOT approach and the Islamic economic concept of maslahah. The business has been passed down through generations and serves as the family's primary source of income. The research employed interview methods with the business owner and field observations as data collection techniques. SWOT analysis indicates strengths in product quality, producer experience, and low production costs, while weaknesses include limited technology, resources, and lack of brand identity. External opportunities such as rising demand and palm sugar prices offer significant potential, but are challenged by competition, government regulations, and weather dependency. The proposed strategy focuses on leveraging strengths to capture opportunities and addressing internal weaknesses. From the maslahah perspective, development efforts cover the preservation of life, wealth, and lineage (dharuriyah), economic ease (hajiyah), and improvement of quality, morality, and social aspects (tahsiniyah). This research recommends technological upgrades, brand development, human resource training, and the integration of Islamic values to achieve holistic societal benefits. Keywords : Development Strategy, Home Industry, Palm Sugar, SWOT Analysis, Maslahah

Abstract

The results of this study indicate that increases in domestic investment (PMDN) and the utilization of Sukuk play a significant role in driving labor absorption in Medan City, both partially and simultaneously. Specifically, PMDN has a significant effect on employment, with a t-value of 3.600 and a significance level of 0.001, while Sukuk also shows a meaningful partial influence, reflected by a t-value of 3.933 and a significance level of 0.000. Together, the combined effect of PMDN and Sukuk on employment is substantial, as evidenced by an F-value of 86.179, far exceeding the F-table reference of 3.35, accompanied by a significance level of 0.000.
