Abstract

This study aims to improve the gross motor skills of group B2 children through games with hoops in Pertiwi Sengi 2 Kindergarten, Dukun District, Magelang Regency, 2019/2020 academic year. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK), which was carried out because the gross motor skills of group B children in TK Pertiwi Sengi 2 experienced obstacles if they did not use tools or media to stimulate their development. This classroom action research method uses three cycles, each of which is carried out for six days. While the results to be achieved in this CAR are: 1) Increasing children's gross motor skills after playing games with hoops. 2) increasing the sense of cooperation between children or children. 3) children are able to control their emotions. 4) children are able to move their limbs quickly, especially their hands and feet. 5) the child has a positive desire to compete. 6) children want to acknowledge the superiority of their friends or other groups. Thus at the same time training children to accept their defeat without feeling angry or disappointed. So with this CAR, the expected results are not only physical development, but also emotional development and also children's character education

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved from this paper are: (1) Describe the role of the PAUD head in Improving the Quality of Education during the Covid 19 Pandemic and (2) Analyzing the strategy of the PAUD head in Improving the Quality of Education during the Covid Pandemic 19. The role of the PAUD head is very crusial in the process administration of education. PAUD as a gateway for early childhood development, of course requires professional management. In the research above, the role of the PAUD head before and during the Covid 19 pandemic there is a difference from the focus or orientation of the principal in education delivery. Before the Covid period, the role of an educator was the focus of the school principal, while during the Covid 19 pandemic, the role of administrator was the main role. However, the research results show that the principal has carried out his role well. In any condition, the role of the principal as a leader must be carried out properly. The results of research conducted on PAUD principals in the Candiroto District of Temanggung show that they have carried out their leadership roles very well and have made optimal efforts to improve the quality of education delivery.

Abstract

The study sought to improve the skills of reading comprehension of students fromIV B Class at SD Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta 2019/2020. This was conducted by using PQRST methods. Moreover, this research is in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was run for two cycles. Each cycles has four systematic stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. This study used variety of techniques including interview, observation, tests, and documentation. The validity of the data was tested using data and source triangulation techniques. Data were analyzed using an instrument originally developed by Miles-Huberman. On this research, the average value result of reading comprehension skills is 44.291 with 12,5% of passing percentage in pre-action. In the first cycle, the average acquisition of reading comprehension skills increased to 60.229 with 41,67% of passing percentage. Lastly, in cycle II, the average acquisition of reading comprehension skills increased to 81.062 with 87,5% of passing percentage.. Finding shows that the PQRST methods has been proven to be successful in improving the reading comprehension skills of grade IV B students at SD Ta'mirul Islam Surakarta for the academic year 2019/2020.

Abstract

This research aims to improve understanding of the scient concepts in science subject in the fourth grade studens of Munggung II Elementary School in 2018/2019 academic year by applying experimental methods to realistic media statement. This research consisted of two cycles, each cycle includes two learnings. Subject and data source in this reaserch were teacher and student of fourt grade Munggung II Elementary School. Interviews, observations, tests, and document analysis is this research datas collection. The data analysys techniques used are comparative descriptive and interactive and huberman. The data validity used source triangulation and methods triangulation. Classical completeness of students in initial condition was 16,67%,and in first cycle showed 50%. then in second cycle showed 88,89%.

Abstract

The research was about the analysis of teacher needs in the implementation ofonline learning process during the pandemic at SD Negeri Mangkubumen Lor No.15 Surakarta the academic year of 2020/2021. The background of this research because of the learning transition from conventional to online learning as an impacted of COVID-19 pandemic. The objective of the research to know ideal needs in the implementation of online learning for the primary school teachers. The design of the research used qualitative method with case study approach. The data collecting was obtained through interview with teachers at the grade of III- 1, VI-2, and school supervisor, documentation, and parent questionnaire. The result of this research indicated that the teacher at the grade of III-1 and VI-2 achieved the ideal needs forimplementation of online learning. The needs of teachers used were: (1) facility of online learning; (2) media of online learning, like applications and features; and (3) model variation of online learning. In the future, the teacher expect the developing of facility, media, and model variation of online learning. The teacher also hoped the role of government to introduce the applications the supported by education quota and give attention about the available of internet access.

Abstract

This research servers as an effort to improve student’s reading comprehension skills through the application of the Cooperative Script model for student 5th grade of elementary school student at Surakarta on 2019/2020 school year. The subject of this study were 19 students from 5th grade of elementary school and class teacher. This research is a classroom action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection methods used are observation, test, interview, and document analysist. This study uses descriptive data analysist with a qualitative approach that describe data obtained by researchers from the result of the implementation of the action. This study found success in increasing the average value from cycle I to cycle II, the average value of cycle I was 71,73 with classical completeness 36,84%, increasing in cycle II that was 85,18 with classical completeness 89,47%. The output of this study indicated that by applying the Cooperative Script learning model can improve student’ reading comprehension skill, student activity, and teacher performance

Abstract

Abstract. The goal of this research is to increase creative thinking skills in social science learning by applying Discovery Learning model. This study is Classroom Action Research and  have two cycles. The subjects of this study were students of the 5th students at SD Negeri 01 Papahan Karanganyar in the 2019/2020 academic year, totalling 24 students. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of interview, observation, and tests, with data analysis of content validity and triangulation. 42% of classical completeness is obtained in the 1st cycle,      and the research continued in the 2nd cycle with a result of 81% in classical completeness. Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded that the creative thinking skills in social science learning on 5th students of SD Negeri 01 Papahan karanganyar in the 2019/2020 academic year can be improved through the Discovery Learning  model. This research is expected to make teachers more skilled in applying the Dicsovery Learning model to improve student’s creative thinking skills. Keywords: creative thinking skills, social science learning, discovery learning model, elementary school

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the concept of leadership implementation in learning management practices at LKP Solafide Semarang, 2) Supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of leadership concepts in practical learning at LKP Solafide Semarang, 3) the effectiveness of Semarang. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Location at LKP Solafide Semarang. The data source was obtained at the location. The research subject is an instructor. The technique of interviewing data, observation and, documentation. Data analysis was carried out by using qualitative descriptive analysis, and data validity was performed by triangulation. The results show: 1) The teachers of LKP Solafide Semarang in learning management practices have implemented the concept of leadership in learning management practices at LKP Solafide Semarang, 2) Supporting factors for sinvolved human resources; Facilities and infrastructure in LKP, the inhibiting factor is incompetent teachers, and diverse students in various departments, 3) Effective implementation of leadership concepts in learning practices at LKP Solafide Semarang.

Abstract

The precepts of the One and Only Godhead are the first precepts of Pancasila,which animate the other four precepts. The precepts of the the One and Only Godhead have a relationship between humans and the Creator, which then the other four precepts are guidelines for the relationship between humans with one another. This research is a qualitative research using the case study method. 11 students of class fifth Purwotomo State Elementary School No.97 Surakarta were selected as subjects in this study. Analysis of the data in the study used the interactive analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this study indicate that the value of the precepts of the One and Only Godhead has been implemented by students even though in the online learning period with an indication that the three indicators have been carried out, but in its implementation for the first indicator it is still not optimal because the implementation of worship is still not on time and memorization ofprayers. daily students are still small. This is mostly due to the factors of habituation, guidance and supervision from each parent.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the improvements of basic shapes measurements problem solving skills on fourth grade pupils in SDN Sumber III Surakarta during the implementation of Simayang teaching model. This research was conducted in 2 cycles classroom action research. The data were collected through observation, interview, test and documentation. This study targeted ≥80% of present pupils in the class reach the minimum proficiency score (≥75) on an essay test. The target was achieved on the second cycle where 20 from 25 pupils scored 75 or above on the test. Thus, it appeared that applying Simayang teaching model could improve basic shapes measurements problem solving skills of fourth grade elementary school pupils in SDN Sumber III Surakarta during the academic year 2018/2019. The improvement for each problem solving’s indicators differ on every phase of Simayang syntax. On phase I (orientation), the skills that were improving are “write down the information mentioned on the question in words” and “write down the information asked on the question”. On phase II (exploration – imagination), the skills that were improving are “representing the problem with drawing” and “choose the right problem solving strategic and relate it with the mathematic data mentioned on the question”. On phase III (internalization) and phase IV (evaluation), the improvements happen at all the indicators of basic shapes measurements problem solving skills. Simayang teaching model is recommended to be applied in a class that needs to improve the pupils’ problem solving skills.
