Abstract

The aim of this study "Evaluating Policy Assistance Mina Rural Enterprise Development (PUMP) in South Minahasa Regency". This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. Sources of primary data obtained through interviews with a purposive sampling techniques and secondary data from documents, files, internet, and other sources associated with the research. The survey results revealed Implementation Program Direct Community Assistance (BLM) Mina Rural Enterprise Development (PUMP) in South Minahasa Regency has gone well. All processes are carried out in compliance guidelines. All of these mechanisms have been implemented according to their respective authorities ranging from the establishment of a technical team to the receiver group selection. Since the program was rolled in South Minahasa Regency (years 2011-2015), as many as 73 groups have received this assistance and has been used for business development in the field of fisheries, aquaculture, processing and marketing of fishery products. Implementation of this program has had an impact on the implementation of this program. The perceived impact of fish production increased compared to before receiving this assistance. Likewise with income, an increase when compared with the initial conditions before granting aid.

Abstract

Pendidikan kesetaraan adalah pendidikan yang berlangsung di luar sistem persekolahan pada pengelolaannya dilakukan melalui Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat yang dalam penyelenggaraan program pendidikan non formal termasuk Paket C yang merupakan pendidikan berjenjang setara Sekolah Menengah Atas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis implementasi kebijakan penyelenggaraan pendidikan Paket C yang dilakukan oleh Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat di Kota Manado. Melalui penggunaan desain kualitatif penelitian ini menemukan bahwa implementasi kebijakan penyelenggaraan pendidikan kesetaraan Paket C di Kota Manado berdasarkan aspek pengorgansiasian, interpretasi dan aplikasi belum sepenuhnya berjalan dengan baik. olehnya disarankan untuk melakukan perekrutan Tutor yang sesuai dengan kompetensi pembelajaran yang dibutuhkan, mengusahakan sumber pendanaan lainnya dan tidak tergantung pada bantuan operasional dari pemerintah, melakukan perbaikan dan penambahan sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran menjalankan fungsi evaluasi dan pengawasan terhadap berjalannya kegiatan Pendidikan Kesetaraan Paket C.

Abstract

Efforts to improve health services in the community in the form of village health post (Poskesdes) which is a village health efforts Community Based (UKBM) were established in the village in order to suppress / provide basic services for rural communities. Writing is to know the quality of service to the village health posts in the district Aertembaga Bitung City. The research method uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques, free interviews, observation and documents. Conclusions from the study showed that the quality of service in the district Poskesdes Aertembaga not optimal. Limited human resources managers, and health care activities in implementation has not been fully guided as technical guidelines applicable government regulations. Means of supporting the majority considered inadequate. The supervisory system of the upper level of the service activity has not been smooth

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis perubahan sosial ekonomi masyarakat nelayan di sekitar kawasan reklamasi di Kecamatan Sario Kota Manado. Melalui penggunaan desain kualitatif penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Perubahan Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat Nelayan Di Sekitar Kawasan Reklamasi Di Kecamatan Sario Kota Manado sudah mengarah kearah yang lebih baik (positif), dilihat dari pendapatan/penghasilannya, peluang pekerjaan terbuka dengan adanya lapangan pekerjaan yang tersedia serta tingkat pendidikan masyarakat nelayan meningkat, mereka termotivasi meningkatkan pengetahuan mereka lewat mengikuti kegiatan peningkatan keterampilan yang diadakan oleh pemerintah. Kata Kunci : Perubahan sosial ekonomi , masyarakat nelayan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi makna simbol etnis pada rumah adat Minahasa, di mana ada banyak unsur simbol yang kaya makna. Rumah tradisional merupakan salah satu warisan budaya yang perlu diketahui dan terus dilestarikan dari generasi ke generasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan Teori Interaksi Simbolik. Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of the level of income and the welfare of farmers' groups cut flowers chrysanthemum in Sub District of North Tomohon befor and after empowerment programs. Collecting data using a survey method, ie the entire interview informants to obtaining an overview of the focus and the empirical study variables such as income level and the level of welfare of farmers cut flower chrysanthemum in the village of Kakaskasen, Kakaskasen Satu, Kakaskasen Dua and Kakaskaskasen Tiga. Data were analyzed by examining differences in the population mean two pairs of data, by using the method before and after treatment in which to do comparisons between levels of income and welfare levels before and after the empowerment program. The results of the evaluation in this research note that with empowermment program for farmer group of cut flower chrysanthemum in Tomohon, particularly in Village Kakaskasen, Kakaskasen Satu, Kakaskasen Two and Kakaskasen Kakaskasen Three of Sub District of North Tomohon is affecting the income and welfare of farmers. With the existence of the empowerment program, the farmers' income can be increased, thereby increasing the level of welfare of the farming community. The level of income is the amount of revenue income after business development chrysanthemum cut flowers and other business. Once empowered, revenue increased about five times and welfare of farmers increased about two times

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the human resources development In Population Administration Field At Population and Civil Registration Offie at Manado. Research method is qualitative method. The research found that employee development through education and training have not been fully formed attitude, knowledge and skill of employee’s work in Population Administration Field at Population And Civil Registration Office. Abstract

This study reveals the meaning of freedom of the press in Indonesia using the approach of Agenda Setting Theory of Mc Combs and Shaw and Releases Social Responsibility Theory of Theodore Peterson, using qualitative research methods. The results showed press freedom being developed today is freedom of the press in the context of democratic development. Freedom to seek, manage and menayajikan news is now strongly felt by members of the press, but freedom must be accompanied by responsibility for news content. The press is one of the most instrumental agents of change in society changes. The press had a strong driving force that can bring the society towards the negative or reverse direction towards a better improvement. Journalists must improve quality by constantly, have a passion to improve the skills of the profession as a journalist. Freedom of the press has been followed by the media presence of their owners who have enough capital. It also influence the news content, in which journalistic work presented to the public can not be separated from the element alignments. Journalists who act independently, presents a true and accurate news without any interference whatsoever, including media owners have not fully  in Indonesia. Keywords: Press, Freedom of the Press

Abstract

Awareness of the importance of Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction (PRBBK) should be pursued in view of the condition of Indonesia in general and Bitung in particular in geographically and geologically is a disasterprone areas where mainstream disaster events from year to year showed a significant increase. PRBBK program requires the active involvement of communities across the stage of disaster risk reduction. Call for Proposals aims to reduce the vulnerability and increase the capacity of communities to prevent or minimize the potential loss and damage caused by the disaster to life, shelter, livelihoods and the environment. This study aims to assess the community participation in the program of community-based disaster risk reduction in Bitung, this study using research methods kualitatitf.
