Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran Van Hiele pada materi sifat-sifat bangun datar segi empat di kelas VII D SMP Negeri 8 Jayapura. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan gabungan (kualitatif dan kuantitatif). Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 22 peserta didik. Pemilihan subjek menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi guru, lembar observasi peserta didik, dan tes individu. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan, penelitian ini berjalan dengan baik disebabkan terlaksanakannya semua tahapan pada model pembelajaran Van Hiele. Dari hasil observasi guru diperoleh kategori baik dan hasil observasi peserta didik diperoleh kategori sangat aktif. Dari hasil tes individu yang diberikan peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat dua peserta didik mencapai tingkat 0 (Visualisasi), empat peserta didik mencapai tingkat 1 (Analisis)  dan 16 peserta didik mencapai tingkat 2 (Informal deduktif).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning creativity and interest in learning mathematics on mathematics learning outcomes for students of class XI IPA MAN 1 Polewali Mandar. This research is an ex-post facto causal research with a research sample of 72 students, namely 20 students of class XI IPA 1, 20 students of class XI IPA 2, and 20 students of class IPA 3, 12 students of class XI IPA 4 MAN 1 Polewali Mandar selected by using proportionate stratified simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used the following instruments: (1) mathematics learning interest questionnaire, (2) interest in learning mathematics questionnaire, (3) mathematics learning outcomes test. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and  inferential analysis. The result of the descriptive analysis of the data showed that: (1) learning creativity was in the high category, (2) interest in learning was in the medium category, and (3) students’ mathematics learning outcomes were in the medium category. The results of hypothesis testing using simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression, namely: (1) learning creativity has a positive and significant effect on students mathematics learning outcomes, (2) interest in learning has a positive and significant learning outcomes, (3) learning creativity and interest in learning has a positive and significant effect on students mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the aim of varying the teaching that is too formal and theoretical which affects students' interest in learning mathematics. Therefore, learning mathematics is needed at the beginning of formal mathematics education, uniting mathematics and culture in certain activity phases according to the level of student development. The presence of culturally nuanced mathematics makes an important contribution to school mathematics. This study focuses on one of the cultural objects in Kuantan Singingi district, namely Batik Nagori. The purpose of this study is to determine the mathematical concepts of geometry contained in batik motifs. This study uses a qualitative research type with an ethnographic approach. The data collection method used is literature study. In analyzing the data using data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this study indicate that there are mathematical concepts of geometry in the form of triangles, hexagons, squares, trapezoids.

Abstract

This research is to develop a subjective test instrument based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) on number pattern. The research method used in this research is research and development (RD). This study uses the ADDIE model which consists of five stages: including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (Sugiyono, 2017). The results of the CVR test of 3 items showed that all questions met the appropriate criteria but were recommended for improvement. A total of 3 questions include material, construction, and language aspects. Then a limited field trial was conducted on 20 class VIII students of SMPN 2 Lembang. 3 valid questions used for wide field trials on 30 class VIII students of SMPN 2 Lembang. In the limited field test the reliability of the test is 0.615, while the broad field test reaches 0.642. Based on the discriminatory power, in the limited field test and the wide field test, the discriminatory power of the questions in both situations is quite good. Based on the level of difficulty in the limited field test questions, 3 moderate questions were found, while in the wide field test, 1 easy question and 2 medium questions.

Abstract

Ethnomathematics based learning is a solution for children to instill character values as well as foster a sense of love for local culture in the midst of technological advances. This study aim to conduct a literature review related to ethnomathematics, namely the relationship between mathematics and culture, especially in Javanese culture, one ofwhich is traditional games. The method used in this research is SLR (Systematic Literature Review). The data collection technique was carried out by documenting and reviewing five articles related to character values and ethnomathematics in the Ingkling traditional game published in the period 2017 to 2021 from the Googe Scholar database. The data analysis technique used is to identify, evaluate, and intepret all available in research. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there are ethnomathematics in the traditional game of Ingkling which has many roles, one of which can be used by junior high school students to understand the concept of opportunity. In addition, these traditional games also contain cultural values and character values in them.

Abstract

Many teachers in Indonesia teach students horizontal number lines rather than vertical number lines. However, there are students who use vertical number lines to solve contextual problems that have never been taught in schools. Therefore, this study aims to find out why students use vertical number lines to solve contextual problems. This research is a qualitative research where data is collected by tests and interviews. The results showed that students used vertical number lines based on the context of the given questions.

Abstract

This type of research was ex-post facto research. The population in this study were all students of class XI of SMK Negeri 2 Makassar while the sample in this study were XI TKJ 1 and XI TKJ 2, totaling 65 students. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. Data analysis techniques using questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statiscal analysis and inferential statistic analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that (1) Partially, the academic potential variable significantly influences the learning outcomes of students of class XI SMK Negeri 2 Makassar of 17.6%. (2) Partially self-efficacy variables significantly influence the mathematics learning outcomes of class XI students of SMK Negeri 2 Makassar by 43.4%. (3) Partially the learning independence variable has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of Grade XI students of SMK Negeri 2 Makassar by 78.8%. (4) Simultaneously the variables of academic potential, self-efficacy and learning independence significantly influence the learning outcomes of students of class XI in SMK Negeri 2 Makassar with a coefficient of determination R2 = 0.817 which means that the academic potential, self-efficacy and learning independence gave an effect of 81.7% on the mathematics learning outcomes of students of class XI of SMK Negeri 2 Makassar and the remaining 18.3% is influenced by other factors

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berupa lembar kerja dengan pendekatan etnomatematika motif jarik jawa pada bangun datar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (RD), dengan model pengembangan yang dimodifikasi dari model 4D. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah 17 siswa kelas III SDN Andongsari 3 Ambulu Jember. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, angket dan lembar kerja. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis data dari lembar validasi ditemukan bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori valid. Berdasarkan analisis data dari angket yang diberikan kepada siswa, diketahui bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan rata-rata sebesar 81,69% dan termasuk dalam kategori praktis. Sedangkan berdasarkan analisis data dari hasil pengerjaan LKPD yang dikembangkan mencapai nilai 82,11% dan termasuk dalam kategori efektif.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika sangat dipengaruhi oleh pemilihan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan monopoli dalam pembelajaran matematika dan kemampuan kognitif pada materi aritmatika sosial. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kuantitaif dengan menggunakan eksperimen pada variabel independen pengaruh permainan monopoli dalam pembelajaran matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukan variabel dependen dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Kemranjen. Adapun variabel dependen dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Kemranjen. Desain penelitian menggunakan sistem populasi yang akan diambil oleh kelas VII. Sedangkan pada penelitian ini digunakan menggunakan desain Posttest-Only. Dalam populasi ini, yaitu siswa kelas VII. Teknik sampel ini menggunakan cluster random sampling dalam pengambilan sampel pada kelas VII E dan kelas VII F sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan untuk kelas VII B dan Kelas C sebagai kelas kontrol. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran kelas eksperimen menggunakan media pembelajaran monopoli. Nilai Sig ini adalah α (0,026 0,01) atau thit = 2,65 t (α, 72) = 0,813 yang berarti bahwa Ho diterima. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan menjelaskan bahwa tidak ada perlakuan yang harus diberikan kepada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.

Abstract

Hasil belajar matematika yang masih rendah menjadi latar belakangpenelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruhpenerapan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 SungaiLimau Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitianeksperimen dengan desainnya Control-group post test only. Teknikpengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan random sampling.Hasil penemuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar ranahkognitif siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talkingstick memiliki nilai rata-rata 62,47 dan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswayang diajarkan menggunakan model konvensional memiliki nilai rata-rata46,64. Hasil dari uji hipotesis menunjukkan dan dk = 47 diperolehthitung = 2,21 dan ttabel = 1,67. Karena thitung ttabel dapat disimpulkan bahwahasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan modelkooperatif tipe talking stick lebih baik daripada hasil belajar ranah kognitifsiswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model konvensional.
