This research uses quasy experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test design. Selected research sample using total sampling techniques of 36 respondent. Analysis of data using statistic test of wilcoxon signed ranks. The result showed that with the training had an influence on increasing the knowledge of respondent (p-value = 0.001 and Z = -4,891), improved attitudes of respondents (p-value = 0.001 and Z = -4,753) and increased socialization practices of respondents (p-value = 0.001 and Z = -5.097). The conclusion of this study is the influence of training to increase the knowledge, attitudes and socialization practices of respondents about the IVA examination. This research is expected the clinic to conduct to refresh information to health cadres once a month.

Abstract

Pregnancy can be in a high-risk category, which is grouped according to Poedji Rochjati Scoring Card that causes anxiety. Anxiety in a pregnant woman can trigger contractions, abortus, increasing blood pressure that can trigger the occurrence of preeclampsia, etc. One of the therapies to deal with anxiety is murottal of Quran therapy and Benson relaxation. Murottal of Quran therapy is a complementary therapy that is applied by listening to the passage of Ar Rahman letter, whereas, Benson relaxation is a complementary therapy that is done by guiding clients to unite beliefs and regulate breathing. Both therapies have a relaxing effect, which can reduce stress and anxiety. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of therapeutic murottal Quran and Benson relaxation on pregnancy anxiety high-risk. This research use Quasy experimental design with the design of two group pretests and a posttest involving 39 respondents with the criteria of high-risk expectant mothers experiencing anxiety in Kelurahan Setiawargi Kecamatan Tamansari Tasikmlaya City. The analysis of data in this study used quantitative analysis by describing the characteristics of each research variable and assessing the influence of therapy Murottal Quran and Benson relaxation of high risk expectant pregnant mothers using paired T-test samples. The result of this study was obtained that the anxiety of pregnant mothers high-risk decreased after intervention in each group. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that there is a therapeutic influence of  murottal Quran and Benson relaxation to the anxiety of high-risk expectant mothers.

Abstract

Stunting is a growth disorder in children: the child’s height is lower or shorter (stunted) than the standard age. A serious condition that occurs when a person does not get the right amount of nutritional intake for a long time (chronic). Contributes to 15-17 percent of all child deaths. The impact of stunting is underachieving in school and being less productive as adults. When the baby has passed the age of 9 months, it is possible for the mother not to bring her child back to the health service so that there is no monitoring of the child’s development. This study utilizes an application “Stunting Prevention” which can be used by mothers to increase knowledge about how to prevent stunting. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of stunting prevention applications on maternal knowledge and nutritional status of children 0-36 months. The research design was a pre-experimental research design. This study uses the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design approach. The population in this study were mothers who have children aged 0-36 months in the Mojolangu Village, Malang City. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results showed that there was an effect of using the application on maternal knowledge about stunting prevention with the results of wilcoxon analysis, namely 0,00 (0,05) and there was no effect of using the android application “Stunting Prevention” on the nutritional status of infants 0-36 months with a ρ value of 0,317 (0,05).

Abstract

Stunting is a condition where the children have short stature caused by chronic malnutrition. Stunting could interfere with physical development and affects low intelligence levels. Based on basic health research data in 2019,the stunting rate in Indonesia reached 27.6%. WHOs' The WHO targeted stunting rate should be under 20%. In 2019, Tegal city had 830 children aged 0-5 years with stunting, and for the Margadana regency, there were 80 toddlers. This study aimed to determine the correlation of responsive feeding behavior and the incidence of stunting. This study was an observational study with a case-control design, with a ratio of 1:1. The population of this research was mothers who have toddlers aged 6-36 months. The sample was 28 respondents divided into two groups. Subjects who entered the stunting group had a PB/U z-score-2 SD,and subjects in the normal group had a PB/U-2SDz-score to 2SD. Data collection through interviews was to assess Knowledge,Attitudes, and Responsive Feeding Behavior and analyze the correlation with stunting and assessing the amount of risk for each variable. The data analyzed using Chi-Square on the study results show a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and responsive feeding behavior with stunting. Based on the risk factor for lack of knowledge, the risk is 6.2 times greater for children experiencing stunting and unfavorable attitudes, 6.6 times greater risk for stunting children. At the same time, good behavior has a lower risk of 0.15 children experiencing stunting. It is hoped that toddlers' mothers can improve responsive feeding knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors so that toddlers' nutritional needs will be even better.

Abstract

Childbirth is a moment full of stress that causes pain, fear, and anxiety. Acupressure Hegu LI 4 is one of the techniques to reduce pain during labor. Objective of the study was to identify the difference in pain on first stage active phase of labor in acupressure Hegu LI 4 group and control group. Samples were obtained through consecutive sampling technique from parturient which fulfill inclusion criteria. The study was a quasy experiment design. Data analysis used mean and deviation standard for univariate analysis, Independent Sample T Test for bivariable analysis, and linier regretion for multivariable analysis. Mean of decrease of pain labor in aromatheraphy group was higher than control group. The mean decrease in pain score in the intervention group was 3.03 ± 0.669 while the mean reduction in pain in the control group was 2.07 ± 0.740. The average difference from the Independent Sample T Test obtained significant results with P values 0.001 and 95% C.I. -1,331 - (-0,602). Analysis of external variables that affect the decrease in labor pain scores is anxiety with P value = 0.020. The results of this study are expected to be the basis of studies in the field of midwifery, especially labor on effective methods to reduce labor pain in a non-pharmacological manner.

Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends that babies get exclusive breastfeeding during the first 6 months, but many breastfeeding mothers are unable to give their milk because of lack of milk production. Based on the profile of the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Health, 2017 the achievement of babies receiving exclusive breastfeeding in the North Sumatra region is still relatively low, only reaching 45.74%, the figure is far below compared to other provinces such as West Nusa Tenggara reaching 87.35%, West Sumatra 68.32 %, South Sumatra 60.36%, DKI Jakarta 67.40% and Riau province 57.65%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of banana inflorescence on milk production. This research used  the Eksperimen method with Pretest-Posttest With Control Group design, with the technique of taking Simple Random sampling with a sample size of 20 people, 10 experimental groups and 10 control groups. Data collection began in May-June 2020 using observation sheets and measuring cups (cc). This research used the univariate analysis with Paired T-Test and Bivariate Analysis with Independent T Test, with a significance level of 95%. The results showed an in the Eksperimen group who were given a 459 cc banana infloresence decoction and an average value in the Control group 310 cc which meant there were differences in milk production around 149 cc and p. 0.01 (0.05). Conclusion  banana inflorescence influence to  breast milk production in nursing mothers 0-6 months old.
