Abstract

This paper examines the main orientation of education which is not only a mastery of knowledge, but as a bridge that leads people to awareness, belief and positive thoughts so that they can know God better as part of the existence of life in this world. The method used is library research method with a descriptive normative approach that emphasizes the analysis of the data sources found. The results of the analysis of verses and data sources can be concluded that the purpose of Islamic education is to shape humans according to their nature so that they can live like human beings in terms of strengthening faith, reason, physical, spiritual and social oriented to piety as servants of Allah and caliphs in the world. As humans, there needs to be a balance between human abilities in terms of intelligence, religious, professional, and social. In addition, the orientation of Islamic education can be packaged with economic stability in order to eradicate inequality and social injustice. Educational institutions have a special task and role to produce people who think and feel, think and do remembrance, and people who are humble are not arrogant.

Abstract

The purpose of this essay is to achieve a design for education that is in line with effective and efficient standards. The development of information technology requires teachers to be able to use it as much as possible to support learning. This writing uses a qualitative descriptive method, by describing the ASSURE model design based on the Canva application. The results showed that the use of the ASSURE model based on the Canva application added variety to learning and increased student learning motivation, by analyzing student characteristics, and learning styles, choosing appropriate methods, media, and teaching materials, and involving students actively in learning. In addition, the use of the Canva application-based ASSURE model learning design increases the value drastically in the evaluation of Fiqh learning. The ASSURE model learning design in a nutshell is the process of designing a learning model from analyzing the character of students, how to learn, choosing and applying methods, appropriate learning media, and conducting evaluations and revisions during learning. In designing Canva application-based learning, it is necessary to adjust to student interests and the times, so that the learning process is not boring and more interesting.

Abstract

The impact of COVID-19 has also hit educational institutions with a policy of changing learning from an offline system to an online system. This condition requires parents to provide online learning assistance for their children. This research was conducted to analyze and measure the effect of spiritual well-being on the effect of online learning assistance on the resilience of single parent fathers after the  covid 19 pandemic. A total of 150 single parent fathers were involved by filling out an online survey related to the Spiritual Well Being Index for single parent fathers and Child Learning Assistance. The results stated that there was an influence of "spiritual well-being" on online learning assistance with an effect of 48.0%. Thus, "Spiritual well-being" is one that must be prioritized because it can be used as a variable that plays a very important role in the success of accompanying parents to their children in learning

Abstract

One part of the MBKM program is Kampus Mengajar, which provides students with experience to assist teachers in the learning process in the classroom. This qualitative research investigates the role of Kampus Mengajar in improving the teaching abilities of students in the Islamic Education Study Program. After research data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation techniques, triangulation techniques were used to ensure its validity. There are three stages of analysis used: reducing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. The research results show Kampus Mengajar helps improve the teaching competence of students in the Islamic Education Study Program. Students gain pedagogical, professional, personality and social competence through the various activities they carry out. During Kampus Mengajar, students can acquire these competencies through the various activities they participate in. With a wider choice of activities compared to other practical programs, such as PPL and internships, Kampus Mengajar has the ability to complement students' experiences by being directly involved in the educational process in Indonesia.

Abstract

The An-Nashr method is a program owned by NU Pakis Islamic Junior High School to facilitate the students in learning to read Al-Quran properly and correctly while understanding the meaning contained in it by memorizing the Al-Qur'an verses translation. This research aimed to describe the implementation of the An-Nasr Method to improve the memorizing ability of Al-Quran verses translation of NU Pakis Islamic Junior High School Students. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this research: 1) Implementation of the an-nasr method to improve the memorizing ability of Al-Quran verses translation of NU Pakis Islamic Junior High School Students through several processes, namely planning and implementation. In planning, an initial test is carried out on students which aims to facilitate class grouping based on students' ability to read Al-Quran. Then in its implementation, it follows the An-Nashr method manual in the learning process. 2) The improvement of students' ability to memorize the translation of Al-Quran verses can be seen from the student learning journal notes. 3) Learning Evaluation of the an-nasr method implementation can be done by means of an assessment of student memorization, a warning to a supervising teacher.

Abstract

Religious moderation has become a new trend upon conflict and intolerance resolution among religious communities, especially in Indonesian universities. This paper aims to explain the process of implementing religious moderation to enhance appropriate socio-religious attitudes and religious tolerance at Universitas Merdeka Malang. It is a case study with an in-depth interview followed by observation and documentation study. This study finds that the implementation of religious moderation is carried out in 3 stages, namely (1) coordination meetings of lecturers in the religious study forum (RSA) to discuss lecture material, (2) Preparation of RPS or Rencana Pembelajaran Semester or syllabus by including religious moderation material, (3) applying religious moderation through (a) religious education lecture, citizenship education, and religious enrichment. (b) off-campus classroom through (i) students’ religious activity units (SAU), including Jubilee SAU (Christian), Loyola SAU (Catholic), Alhuda SAU (Islamic) and Dharma WTC SAU (Hindu). Non-Muslim religious activities can be carried out at the mosque since this is the center of worship building on campus, (ii) activating a student’ council Instagram account for broadcasting information about religious moderation, and the existence of local cultures to represent national commitment and accommodative attitudes towards local cultures.

Abstract

Experiential learning in educational research studies has proven effective in improving students' academic performance. Therefore, it is important to check the Al-Quran for any verses that might be applicable in this situation. In Q.S. Al-Kahf [18]: 62–82, the narrative of Prophet Musa and Prophet Khidr is an example of experiential learning that will be examined in this study. The strategy is a qualitative strategy. This kind of investigation is done at libraries. The Al-Qur'an and books of interpretation served as primary data sources for this study's literature review, while articles from journals served as secondary data sources. At the same time, the maudhu'i interpretation approach is the one that is employed. The findings indicated that Prophet Musa's learning while he studied under Prophet Khidr implied several levels of experience-based learning, including: 1) the real experience stage, namely when Prophet Musa was directly involved in demonstrations conducted by Prophet Khidr; 2) the reflection observation stage, namely when Prophet Musa observed a series of events shown by Prophet Khidr from a sharia perspective; 3) the conceptualization stage, namely when the Prophet Khidr explained his actions during their journey; and 4) the implementation or experiment stage which is implicitly known from the process of training and habituation of patience carried out by Prophet Musa during his journey with Prophet Khidr.

Abstract

As a religious and fanatical ethnicity, Madura's people has practiced the values of the Madura’s character which has been and has become an identity for a long time, an attitude of resignation, courtesy, and empathy. The distinctive Maduran character does not escape the influence of a kiai as the main character in the nyabis tradition who historically and in reality is an expert in religious science and is very influential for the Madurese community. The purpose of this study is to find out the values of Islamic character in the nyabis tradition and how people internalize these values in everyday life. This research is a qualitative research type of phenomenological study, the methods for collecting data are interviews (semi structured), participant and non-participant observation, and documentation. To process data: data reduction, data presentation, data verification. The research findings show that the values of Islamic character in the nyabis tradition are the values of aqidah, ubudiah and ahlakul karimah values. These three values then become a norm that is commonly used as a basis in everyday life.

Abstract

Morals are the main goal achieved by every human being which can be done through education. Understanding morals plays a very important role in the process of life. SD NU Sleman Yogyakarta in morals lessons uses the book Syiir Ngudi Susila in class III, a form of example of good morals for students and its strategic value lies in the teaching process and understanding. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Researchers used four methods, namely interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaires. The moral values contained in the book Syiir Ngudi Susila include: (1) Morals towards Allah SWT; (2) Morals towards parents; (3) Morals towards teachers; (4) Morals towards friends; (5) Morals towards guests/other people; (6) Morals towards brothers; (7) Morals towards oneself. The teacher's reception of the book contains easy moral values which are still basic to be studied in class III. So that students' understanding is contained in 2 values, namely the test question value and the behavior value.
