Abstract

Schools need to realize character education as the goal of national education. This study aims to determine the realization of community participation in strengthening character education. This research is a descriptive qualitative study using a phenomenological, management and sideological approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion drawing. The validity test of this research data includes the test of credibility of data, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results of this study indicate that community participation in strengthening character education is channeled through school committees that give birth to operational policies and educational programs in schools, provide assistance in the form of voluntary funds, material contributions and involve themselves in carrying out activities to strengthen character education both class-based, culture-based and community based.

Abstract

This study aims to see the implementation of recruitment at SDIT Lan Tabur, Pagar Alam city. Recruitment is the process of getting a number of qualified human resources to occupy a position or job. The implementation of professional and proportional recruitment will result in input of quality educators. To study the implementation of recruitment at SDIT Lan Tabur Kota Pagar Alam, using descriptive qualitative research that produces descriptive data in the form of written, spoken words and the activities of the people being observed. To collect data using interview techniques, observation techniques, and documentation techniques. The data analysis procedure used in this research is qualitative analysis. The results of the research obtained the following results: Implementation of the recruitment carried out was quite good, here it appears that there are various processes carried out by the school such as through administrative filing and tests for prospective new workers, most of the expected goals are achieved even though there are still inhibiting factors such as the difficulty of getting a workforce that is in accordance with the academic field with the field required by the school. However, in this case, the school, especially the principal and other workers, are equally trying to make the school a school that is in demand by the community.

Abstract

The religious culture of educational institutions is an effort to realize the values ​​of religious teachings as a tradition in behavior and organizational culture which is followed by all citizens in the educational institution. The research approach is qualitative field with case studies. Types of data are qualitative and quantitative. Sources of data are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documents, while data analysis refers to Miles and Huberman's theory. The results of the study obtained 4 conclusions, namely: The first stage, planning a religious culture development program is the formulation of a vision, mission, and goals in State Junior High School 10 Palembang connected with religious culture clearly. The second stage is the implementation of programs that are obligatory for all school members. The final stage, evaluating the program of religious cultural values ​​in instilling character education is in the five character values ​​and 4S (smile, greeting, greeting, and courtesy). The five religious cultural values ​​are honest in words, clean in deeds, economical in use, sincere in giving to fellow brothers and sisters, in congregation (mutual cooperation or cooperation). The evaluation of the results of the development of religious culture is included in the chasing achievement book which contains the activity form or student attendance that will be assessed by each supervisor. Supporting factors for the development of religious culture, namely students, teachers, infrastructure, literacy activities. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is fanaticism, the lack of awareness of some teachers who consider it the only task of Islamic Education teachers.

Abstract

This study describes the effect of madrasah’s management Functions on madrasah’s accreditation in Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Tellu Siattinge District, Bone Regency. This type of research is quantitative, by presenting statistical data on the phenomena that occur. The study population was 88 teachers as well as the sample. The technique of collecting data using a questionnaire and analyzed by descriptive statistics and inferential statistics by testing the hypothesis with the product moment correlation test. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of madrasah management functions on madrasah accreditation with a coefficient of 0.662 and a significance of 0.000. There is an effect of 66% of the management function on madrasah accreditation and other factors are influenced by other factors. This large percentage should get the attention of educational stakeholders regarding the importance of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating functions in improving madrasah accreditation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to understand the management of strengthening character education through online and offline learning during the Covid 19 New Normal pandemic which includes planning, implementation and evaluation. The research method used a qualitative descriptive method through observation, documentation and interviews at MTs Hidayatul Islamiyah Bandar Lampung. Data were analyzed using the following steps: data reduction, display data, and conclusion / verification). The results of this study indicate that first, planning to strengthen student character education has been carried out properly through the preparation of objectives, strategies and policy mapping as well as procedure mapping and program refinement using RPP designs; second, the implementation of character education runs well through activities of a religious nature, planting nationalism, social care and concern for the environment; third, evaluation of the management of the strengthening of character education of students through monitoring activities on the implementation of activities by carrying out reflection, analysis and follow-up plans.

Abstract

This article discusses the relationship between innovation in madrasah principals and the welfare level of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Dua Boccoe District, Bone Regency. This type of research is classified as quantitative (correlational) research with methodological (positivistic-quantitative) and scientific (sociological and psychological) approaches. The population in this study were 77 teachers taken from all existing teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Dua Boccoe District, Bone Regency. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire, while the analysis thechique used was descriptive analysis with hypothesis testing using product moment correlation analysis. The results of the study were: 1) the reality of the innovation ability of Madrasah Tsanawiyah principals in Dua Boccoe District in the very good category with a percentage of 62.33%; 2) the reality of the welfare level of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Dua Boccoe District, Bone Regency is in the very good category with a percentage of 67.53%; 3) there is a correlation between the principal’s ability to innovate and the welfare of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Dua Boccoe District, Bone Regency. Evidenced by the correlation coefficient velue of correlation and is in the interval 0.40-0.599.

Abstract

This article discusses on describe the implementation of integrated quality management of education at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung with a focus on customer, total involvement, measurement, commitment, and continuous improvement. This study uses the theory of Jerome S. Arcaro. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method through observation, documentation and interviews at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Data were analyzed using the following steps: data reduction, display data, and conclusion / verification). The results of this study indicate that: 1) The implementation of quality management on customer focus has gone well, because madrasas not only involve internal parties in every process but also involve external parties. 2) The implementation of quality management in total involvement has gone well with the existence of MGMP, under the guidance of the principal of madrasah, fostered cooperation between teachers and students outside of class hours. 3) Implementation of integrated quality management on measurement has gone well by having an organizational structure that contains controls, and the existence of an evaluation meeting. 4) The implementation of integrated quality management in building and maintaining commitment has gone well with always holding coordination meetings, giving rewards to teachers and trainers as well as students who win competitions. 5) Implementation of quality management in continuous improvement has also gone well with continuous supervision, as well as workshops and trainings.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of the preparation of educational programs (strategy formulation) that has been determined as a guide in realizing order and direction in implementing each program and its budgeting so that it remains consistent with the vision, mission, goals and development targets that have been proclaimed. The research method uses descriptive qualitative methods through observation, documentation and interviews at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Data were analyzed using the following steps: data reduction, data display, and conclusion/verification). The results of the study show that: 1) The head of the madrasa has carried out the process of formulating the vision and mission of the madrasa through forums, meetings and deliberation with all stakeholders. 2) MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung conducted a self-evaluation with swot analysis. 3) MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung provides superior programs in the form of superior classes with the aim that students are able to compete and be able to excel with other madrasas. 4) The urgency of the strategic plan for the madrasa as a guideline that refers to the process of formulating the vision and mission of the madrasa.

Abstract

This article discusses the management of guidance and counseling programs at MTs Darul Huda Bandar Lampung including planning, implementing and evaluating guidance and counseling. The research method uses descriptive qualitative methods through observation, documentation and interviews at MTs Darul Huda Bandar Lampung. Data were analyzed using the following steps: data reduction, display data, and conclusion / verification). The results of this study indicate that first MTs Darul Huda Bandar Lampung has planned the Guidance and Counseling program carefully as stated in the annual program and semester program, then the implementation of the Guidance and Counseling Program at MTs Darul Huda Badar Lampung can be said to be optimal, because it can be seen from the running of basic service program components, responsive services, specialization services and individual planning, and system support, as well as for evaluating the results of the Guidance and Counseling program at MTs Darul Huda Bandar Lampung, have not run optimally because they cannot measure student development in detail.

Abstract

This article discusses the influence of madrasa principal leadership and teacher work ethic on the performance of state MTs teachers in Bandar Lampung City. The approach used in this research is quantitative research. The research data were analyzed using descriptive analysis assisted by SPSS For Windows 22. Data from each variable were collected separately by filling out a questionnaire that was compiled. The sample in this study was 53 educators who were determined randomly (random sampling). The results showed that there was a positive influence of the madrasa principal's leadership on teacher performance. This proves that improving the leadership of madrasah principals can improve teacher performance. Second, there is a positive influence of teacher work ethic on teacher performance. This proves that improving the work ethic of teachers can improve teacher performance. Third, the joint positive influence of the principal's leadership and the teacher's work ethic on teacher performance. This proves that improving the leadership of madrasah principals and teacher work ethic can improve teacher performance. The implication of this study is that there is a positive influence on the leadership of the madrasah principal and teacher work ethic on the performance of State MTs teachers in Bandar Lampung City. This shows that efforts to improve teacher performance must always pay attention to these two elements. In other words, teacher performance can be improved along with improving the leadership quality of the madrasa principal and teacher work ethic.
