Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the important principles of publishing scientific research results, benefits, and systematic review of the constraints and solutions of scientific publications. The discussion of this research focuses on scientific errors in the form of falsification and fabrication. The identification of violations of scientific data distortion includes the character, causes, and prevention perspectives through a holistic approach.The research method used is qualitative research with the type of library research using keywords, namely scientific publication, manuscript, falsification, and fabrication. This study involved a systematic literature search from the online publishing database sources Sciencedirect, Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar to find relevant articles published from 2000 to 2020. The study was conducted in September 2020. An electronic search revealed that there were 896 scientific publications published. relevant, of which 42 manuscripts are included in the bibliography. The synthesis of published data that was drawn was sourced from 88% of primary journals from all references, each of which was identified regarding the validity of the data for writing papers. A prospective design was used to maximize the homogeneity of the information extracted from the selected studies, as part of the research instrument.The results of the study found that the obstacles to scientific publications included the quality and novelty of research results, limited English skills, and minimal writing skills. Repeated violations of scientific thought include falsification and fabrication. This scientific error leads to distortion of research data. Individual falsification and fabrication errors are caused by unethical behavior, violations of applicable scientific norms and ethics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in friendly character in elementary school students after learning to use the Panjol game.The research method used is the experimental research method. The type of experimental research used is the one group pretest-posttest design. The researcher gave a pretest before the treatment and gave a posttest after the treatment using the Panjol game. The treatment was given for three meetings in order to get the maximum result of increasing friendly character. The population in the study were students at SD 1 Muhammadiyah Kudus. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique with the criteria of grade IV students so that the sample in the study was 24 children in grade IV SD 1 Muhammadiyah. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, non-test, and interviews. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and questionnaire sheets. The data obtained were then analyzed using the N-Gain test.The results showed an increase in the friendly character of children after treatment using the Panjol game. The increase in child-friendly character can be seen from the average pretest score of 39 and an increase in the average posttest score of 68. Meanwhile, the N-Gain value is 0.47 in the medium category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the increase in reading interest through the use of e-books in class IX D SMPN 2 Mayang.The method used in this research is Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle includes four stages of planning, implementing action, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this study were students of class IX D in the 2020/2021 academic year as many as 30 students. Data collection techniques using test, observation and interview techniques. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.Based on the observation of the initial conditions before the study was conducted, the percentage of students' interest in reading was only 37%. After the action was taken, namely the use of e-books as a source of literacy in guidance and counseling services, the percentage of students' interest in reading increased. In cycle 1 the percentage of students' completeness increased to 50% while in cycle 2 it reached 70%. This increase in the percentage of students' reading interest shows that the use of e-books as a reading source in digital literacy has succeeded in increasing students' reading interest.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe students' perceptions of the use of Google Meet and Google Form.The research method used is descriptive using a survey method. Purposive sampling was used as a data collection technique. Data collection was carried out online using a questionnaire instrument and interviews with a sample of 34 students of the S1 Mathematics Education Study Program FKIP Unissula who used the Google Meet and Google Form applications when conducting lectures on algebra courses. The data collection technique is using Google Form, then data collection is carried out using the WhatsApp application using an unstructured interview instrument.The results showed that students' perceptions of the use of Google Meet and Google Form were classified as good criteria. This is because there are still obstacles in both applications. The constraint of the Google Meet application is the signal factor, an unstable signal will make users automatically leave Google Meet, while the problem with Google Form itself is the absence of math equation facilities. The hope is that there will be developments in the Google Meet and Google Form applications so that they can provide more comfort and convenience for their users.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the cultural adaptation strategies of students in dealing with the differences in the city of Tegal and the obstacles they face in implementing cultural adaptation strategies.The research method used is a qualitative approach with the type of case study. The research was conducted at the Tegal PGSD campus and Kemandungan Village, Tegal City. The research subjects were PGSD Tegal FIP UNNES students. Data collection techniques used include observation, documentation and interviews. Interviews were conducted on students, Kemandungan residents and lecturers. Testing the validity of the data using triangulation techniques, namely source triangulation and technical triangulation. Data Analysis Techniques used in the Interactive Model Data Analysis include 1) Data Reduction 2) Presentation 3) Conclusion Drawing.The results of the study found that students carried out cultural adaptation strategies in the Tegal community by: 1) Understanding the way of life of the Tegal people, both through direct and indirect interactions, 2) Trying to accept cultural differences between them, 3) Damaging egocentrism and primordialism in themselves because in fact they are living in Tegal. The obstacles faced by PGSD UPP Tegal students in dealing with cultural differences in the City of Tegal are: a) Difficulty in translating the language and dialect used by the local community, b) Limited space for students at the village level, for example reluctance to join social organizations, c) Busy students on campus, For example, studying and joining campus organizations that are not related to the community.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the history of the forest and its potential as a learning material for disaster mitigation education.The research method uses a qualitative approach. The research time was in June–September 2021 on the grounds that it coincided with the cycle of people cultivating agricultural land. Sources of research data consisted of key informants, namely elders and community leaders of the Dayak Gado and documents in the form of letters, archives both regional and national, as well as documentation (photos) and recordings. Researchers made observations in several forests and conducted Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with traditional leaders, school principals and several Dayak community assistance institutions. The validation technique uses triangulation techniques from traditional institutions, community leaders (elders), and the Village Government. While the analysis technique uses the flow developed by Miles Huberman, namely the interactive flow which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification/getting conclusions.The results show that the existence of forests in West Kalimantan is a former village or field of the Dayak community which has one of the functions of plant and animal conservation. Forests, in this case tembawang in the Dayak community, can prevent hydrological disasters such as floods. Environmental history of forests can be used as learning materials for disaster mitigation education. Implementation in history subjects in schools requires 3 pillars, namely teachers, learning strategies and supporting aspects. Teachers are very important in an effort to give students understanding about the knowledge of forest history as disaster mitigation education. The success of disaster mitigation education lies in the ability of teachers to master environmental history and provide students with an understanding of the importance of awareness of tradition and history, awareness of position and awareness of action in students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of e-learning quality, self-efficacy, and interaction on student satisfaction during online learning.The research method used is quantitative with explanatory research. The research was conducted on 261 students with expertise in Business and Management at SMK Negeri 2 Blitar. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed online and then analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS IBM version 21.The results of the study found that the services provided by the teacher were quite responsive, friendly, and fair when students experienced system problems so that it had an impact on student satisfaction in using e-learning. Then, it was also found that students had high confidence in operating the e-learning platforms used by teachers (Moodle and Google Classroom), although they lacked confidence in doing assignments and completing exams. Furthermore, during online learning, the average student has low interaction with the teacher. Some students tend to be passive when the teacher asks questions. It can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between the quality of e-learning, self-efficacy, and interaction on student satisfaction.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to describe the impact of a mathematics learning strategy book on elementary school pre-service teacher' pedagogical content knowledge. The research method used is experimental research with poor experimental methods. A one-group pretest-posttest design was used. This study's sample size is 94 pre-service teachers or elementary school teacher education students. Tests and assessment sheets are data collection instruments for measuring PCK. The test is used to determine PK and CK levels. The Quizizz application is used to administer the test, which is in the form of multiple choice questions. PCK is measured using a score sheet. The data is analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. To explain the distribution of PCK data, descriptive statistics are used. To test the research hypotheses, inferential statistics are used. The paired sample t-test was used to test the hypothesis. The results show that pre-service teachers' PCK is in the high range. The hypothesis test results show that the mathematics learning strategy book used in learning is effective against pre-service teachers' PCK. Mathematics learning strategy books used in elementary schools not only contain theory and material, but also provide examples of student worksheets based on specific strategies/methods. This is what helps pre-service teachers understand so that it has an impact on increasing PCK.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop mobile learning-based e-module teaching materials for research methods courses.This research method is a research and development method using the ADDIE model with e-module development steps, namely: 1) Analysis; 2) Design; 3) Development; 4) Implementation; 5) Evaluation. The sample in this study were all tarbiyah students, namely the PAI study program who took research methods courses, namely semester 5 with a total of 93 students. The sampling technique is a saturated sample technique from the population used as a sample in the study. The data collection techniques of this research are observation, questionnaires and documents. This research instrument is in the form of expert validation sheets and practical assessments by students. This research design is experimental with pre-post test only design with piared sample t test analysis.The results showed that the analysis of product design and data that could be presented in expert judgment showed that the e-module had very good criteria with a significance value of 0.000 0.005, which means that there is a significant difference between learning before and after learning using e-modules based on mobile learning. E-module has a very practical assessment by students as a reference in independent learning with an average score of 4.5 with a very good category. This e-module provides an alternative for students to learn independently, more efficiently and effectively in the learning process outside the classroom.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the analysis of the needs for textbooks for learning strategy courses in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. The focus of this needs analysis is on the shortcomings and desires of students related to learning strategy textbooks. This research method uses a qualitative description. Data collection through a series of questionnaires was distributed to students of PBSI IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro to analyze the needs, shortcomings, and motivation to learn learning strategies for the needs of prospective teachers. This survey research uses a series of questionnaires that includes three steps to determine the needs of students and lecturers. The research subjects were level II students in the fourth semester of the PBSI IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro Study Program, which amounted to 32 people. Analysis of the data used quantitative analysis. Interviews used in the form of open interviews were conducted with lecturers and students. Observation instruments are also used to determine the learning process of learning strategy courses in the classroom. The results showed that the available learning strategy textbooks were still limited and the appearance of the books did not match the characteristics of students so that they felt less interested in reading. In addition, students also have difficulty understanding the text, because the language used is less communicative and there are some vocabulary that is difficult to understand and the text books available in the field have not integrated character education values. In conclusion, students and lecturers need a textbook of learning strategies based on character education values.
