The data collection tools used in this research are observation guide, interview guide and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study was carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and making conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of human rights education in the Civics Study program went well. This condition was seen from the mutual respect and respect between lecturers and students, and there was no discrimination between lecturers and students. The implementation of human rights education in lectures is carried out by lecturers through strengthening students with an understanding of how important it is to respect and respect other human rights. There are several strategies in learning human rights in order to achieve the objectives, namely preparing learning such as formulating learning objectives, knowing the characteristics of students, compiling learning materials, understanding learning situations and contexts, determining appropriate learning resources, determining time and choosing appropriate learning methods. Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model based on manipulative teaching aids on the understanding of mathematical concepts and the self-confidence of elementary school students. The research method used is experimental research methods. The research design used is a pre-experimental one group pre-test-posttest design. In this study, the sample was grade VI SDN 1 Kangkung Demak students. The independent variable in this study is Problem Based Learning with manipulative teaching aids and the dependent variable is understanding mathematical concepts and students' self-confidence. Data collection uses observation to obtain data about students' self-confidence. The researcher used a questionnaire/questionnaire technique to obtain data on the PBL learning model with manipulative teaching aids in mathematics. The test instrument is in the form of a description of 10 questions, meanwhile a questionnaire is used to collect research data about the level of students' self-confidence.The results showed that based on the t-test, the t-value was 23,359, while the t-table with df=43 was 2.0195, the t-count t-table (23,359 2.0195), which means that the PBL model based on manipulative teaching aids is effectively used to increase the self-confidence of elementary school students. The effectiveness of PBL learning based on manipulative teaching aids is proven to increase students' understanding of mathematical concepts and self-confidence.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the attitudes and motivations of students towards the CLIL class and the teacher's perception of the application of CLIL.The research method used is a case study which is included in the qualitative research design based on the type of data collected and analyzed. The participants of the study were 32 students in the eleventh grade of the Multimedia class, one English teacher and one Information Technology (IT) teacher at SMK NU Ma’arif Kudus. The data in this study were collected through questionnaires which were modified from the Attitude/Motivation Test Battery (AMTB). To analyze the data in the form of questionnaires and interview results, the writers referred to the qualitative data analysis technique, which consists of three steps, including reducing the data, displaying the data, as well as conclusion drawing/verifying the data. The result of the study showed that 70% of students argued that CLIL class contributed their learning experience, especially to learn English more in a different setting with additional knowledge about the subject content. Moreover, 18% of them stated that the class changed the setting of learning, and 12 % students thought that the class just focused to the language aspect such as grammar and vocabularies, not the content. It indicated that students had a positive attitude toward CLIL class. Similarly, teachers showed positive perceptions about the implementation of CLIL class because this program encouraged students to participate more in the class and the class activity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the perception of Teacher Professional Education students towards e-learning.The research method used is the mix method, which is a method that combines quantitative and qualitative research methods. The research was conducted in March 2020, at the Satya Wacana Christian University, Salatiga. The population of this study were 571 students of Satya Wacana Christian University Teacher Professional Education. Determination of the research sample random sampling technique as many as 230 people. Collecting qualitative and quantitative data using closed questionnaires and open questionnaires distributed using google form. The data collection instrument was arranged with 5 choices with a score range of 5 – 1. Quantitative data was analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitative data was analyzed using data condensation techniques, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that based on data analyisis, student perception to display aspect, access, interaction, control facility, form and arrangement, and usefulness of e-earning is good. Based on qualitative data, it can be known that the e-learning has quite attractive interface but it still need some addition of pictures or another media; e-learning access is good but it can be a little difficult for people who lived far from the town due to the trouble of internet access; the interaction aspect is good but sometimes it needs a gap to get the feedback from both the lecturer and student; control facility for student who adept with computer is not a problem; the form and structure from e-learning was good, but the learning material still in full text form; learning through online is useful, the weakness is overcomed with face to face in college for material drilling, workshop, and teaching technique.
