Abstract

The challenges of vocational education is to answer the changed faced by people nowadays as well as to prepare the labor in particular number and quality according to the needs of different sectors, especially industrial and service sector. To prepare the graduate of vocational high school who fulfills the qualification of labor market, then the competency of the graduates of vocational high school need to be regenerated and increased. This research is to analyze the influence of entrepreneurships education and work training to students’ entrepreneur attitude. Students’ entrepreneur attitude can be seen from self-confidence aspect, oriented on task and result, risk takers, leaderships, originality and future oriented. Data was collected from 113 students at SMK N 2 Tondano by doing proportional sampling technique. The result of the research found that students’ entrepreneur attitude can be shaped through entrepreneurship education at school and work training or take apprentice programs outside of schools.

Abstract

The research approach was developmental research for improving, implementing and evaluating a production based learning (PBL on subject of Technology Processing of Animal Product at Study Program of Education on Agroindustry Technology, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Syntax of Production based learning are (1) Explanation of the objectives and competencies to be achieved; (2) Explanation of course material; (3) the making of group where each member of the group is divided according to the division in the company; (4) Preparation of company profile by each group; (5) SOP for each part by each group; (6) Practical manufacture of processed products by each group - syntax 1 to 6 can be repeated according to the number of products produced by each group, each group member should play different role in every  different , so that every group member possessed the skill in every work part of producing a product; (7) Naming the product and work report by each student.  The result showed that there was improvement in students’ knowledge seen from student’s test score. The result also showed that there was improvement in student’s skill seen by performance assessment.

Abstract

Kondisi fisik seorang Atlet sangat mempengaruhi stamina ketika mereka bertanding. Indikator kondisi fisik yang prima dari seorang Atlet adalah status gizi dan status kesehatan. Salah satu masalah kesehatan yang sering di hadapi oleh para Atlet adalah Eating Disorder atau penyimpangan perilaku makan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menjaring persepsi mahasiswa Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga FPOK UPI yang berprofesi sebagai atlet mengenai pendidikan gizi untuk mencegah kecenderungan eating disorder. Metode Deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan pendekatan cross-sectional desain, Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden mempunyai persepsi kuat bahwa pendidikan gizi sangat penting dalam mencegah kecenderungan Eating Disorder pada atlet. Sebagian besar responden setuju bahwa tempat yang paling tepat untuk menyampaikan pendidikan gizi bagi para atlet adalah di kampus dan klub olahraga. Setengah dari responden memberikan persepsi bahwa bentuk kegiatan yang paling tepat dalam menyampaikan pendidikan gizi bagi atlet adalah penyuluhan secara berkala, dengan menggunakan metode gabungan dari diskusi, demontrasi dan simulasi, dan durasi yang dianggap tepat selama 60 menit, serta media yg tepat adalah audio visual.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the formulated problems; to know to what extent the implementation contribution of entrepreneurship-based teaching industry model, and students' learning motivation towards boutique and patisserie productive skill competence increase in SMK N 9 Bandung. The method adopted to address problems is quantitative approach with correlation techniques. Data collection is conducted through questionnaire dissemination and document studies. This study uses population sample. Results of correlation test and t test are as follow: implementation contribution magnitude of entrepreneurship-based teaching industry model on productive skill competence increase is in fairly high criteria, contribution magnitude of learning motivation on increase in boutique and patisserie productive skills competence has high criteria and implementation contribution magnitude of entrepreneurship-based teaching industry model and learning motivation towards productive skills competence increase has high criteria.

Abstract

The assessment tool to evaluate learner performance on the apprenticeship is variety. Therefore, we were need a standardized assessment tool. This study was attempt to develop a competency based assessment model on job performance in apprentice of the family welfare education. Problem solving was conducted using research and development approach, through stages of: (1) a study introduction, (2) a development model, and (3) a validation model. The research subjects are internal and external tutors, also a learner intern. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation, survey and expert judgment. The results showed that the planning, the instrument and the implementation of the assessment was the development of competency based assessment model on job performance in family welfare education apprenticeship. Planning assessment was consisting of components of the purpose, job performance, and assessment methods. An instrument assessment was use a test of performance in the form of assessment rubrics. The implementation of the assessment was covering a preparation, collecting, judging, deciding, and moderation stage. From the validation model through the expert judgment, it turns out that assessment model was already developed feasible to implement on job performance assessment in family welfare education apprenticeship

Abstract

Implementasi kurikulum baru sangat menonjolkan pendekatan saintifik dengan pembelajaran berpusat pada peserta didik. Perancangan skenario pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan sai \nti fik memerlukan hasil riset implementasi di kelas. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran elektronika dasar di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Pengembangan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran bercirikan pembelajaran saintifik, mengadopsi pendekatan problem based learning. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode pengungkapan pendapat dan observasi. Teknik pengumpulan data di lakukan dengan menggunakan angket, observasi dan wawancara. Penelitian ini menghasilkan RPP berbasis pendekatan saintifik melalui model problem based learning, dan mendapat tanggapan positif dari guru dan peserta didik, sehingga berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan hard dan soft skill peserta didik .

Abstract

The background of this study is about the lack result and motivation of student in the Building Technique Class. Meanwhile the aims to determine the difference between the learning outcomes as well as motivation of students whose learning application of the learning model scaffolding to students who are learning to apply conventional learning models. This study uses a true experimental research methods by using posttest only control group design with quantitative approach. The subjects were students of class X Building Design Technique SMKN 9 Garut totaling 40 subjects involving teacher’s vocational competence. The research instrument is 5 essay tests to measure learning outcomes, 20 questionnaires to measure the motivation to learn and research documentation. Based on the analysis of research we concluded that: a) there is a difference between learning outcomes of students whose learning applying the learning model scaffolding with students who learning without applying the learning model scaffolding (conventional). This is indicated by the acquired Sig. amounting to 2.851 1.695 b) there is a difference between students' motivation is learning to apply learning models scaffolding with students whose learning without applying the learning model scaffolding (conventional). This is indicated by the acquired Sig. amounting to 2.851 1.685

Abstract

Era modern membuktikan bahwa antara Perguruan Tinggi (PT) dengan perusahaan terdapat banyak kesamaan, antara lain sama-sama memiliki pelanggan, memroses dan menghasilkan produk/jasa, mengelola SDM, keuangan, dan pelanggan. Berdasarkan kesamaan yang ada PT harus memiliki manajemen yang kuat layaknya perusahaan. Diberlakukannya sistem manajemen PT berbasis Strategic Bussiness Unit (SBU), setiap Jurusan, bahkan Program Studi dituntut memiliki perencanaan strategis (renstra). Dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu dan relevansi lulusan, PTK dituntut memiliki renstra yang efektif dan efisien. Berdasarkan penelitian awal diketahui bahwa Tim renstra di beberapa PT mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun renstra. Hal ini disebabkan oleh banyak faktor, diantaranya adalah kurangnya pemahaman tentang konsep dan metode yang digunakan untuk menyusun renstra. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan formulasi strategi untuk PTK menggunakan integrasi SWOT kuantitatif dan kualitatif agar diperoleh renstra efektif. Obyek dalam penelitian ini adalah Jurusan Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan Prodi PTM dan PTB FKIP UNS. Subyek penelitian adalah Tim Peneliti, Tim perumus Renstra, Pimpinan Prodi dan Jurusan, serta stakeholder terkait. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa memformulasi strategi merupakan pekerjaan yang membutuhkan perhatian serius. Hal ini mengingat PT memiliki lingkungan internal dan eksternal yang tak terbatas sehingga memerlukan perhatian khusus dalam melakukan analisis lingkungan. Dengan melakukan integrasi analisis SWOT kuantiatif dan kualitatif diperoleh rumusan strategi yang efektif.

Abstract

The ability to learn independently, is one of life skills that need to be owned by the students as future professionals in the field of education. A professional music educator is required to be able to sing well. Mastery of singing competence can not be separated from competencies to learn independently. This study focuses on Independent Learning Ability Development Model to improve student mastery of Vocal Technique Participants. The research method is conducted using class action research. Due to time constraints the research application of the learning model can only be observed in one cycle. The results showed that the application of learning models provide a positive implication on the ability to perform self-evaluation which is considered as part of independent learning skills.

Abstract

The implementation of vocational school curriculum was noticed a difference learning from complexand abstract concepts become more simple, concrete, and easy to understand. One solution to handle thatproblem is a multimedia learning with CAI. This study aims to obtain a real condition of increasing students'mastery learning of the material also compared the differences between student learning using multimedia CAIwith conventional learning. Research method used was quasi-experimental methods are conducted to 30 studentas an experiment samples and the control group with the number of samples of 30 people. The results showedthat students who use multimedia CAI can learn to fully implement the concept and the concept of independentlearning and competency based. Learning by using multimedia CAI can improve student’s mastery learning andhelp to deliver student to achieve a complete mastery of competency and inprove the students mastery of thematerial with a significant difference compared with students who are not using the multimedia CAI.
