Abstract

Pada era smart society, pemanfaatan teknologi canggih seperti Augmented Reality (AR) semakin penting untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari keefektifan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis AR, khususnya pada materi panca indera. AR diharapkan dapat mempermudah siswa dalam memahami materi yang abstrak dengan cara yang lebih interaktif dan visual. Dengan menggunakan AR, siswa diharapkan dapat mengonsepkan informasi yang sulit dijelaskan melalui metode pembelajaran konvensional.Materi tentang panca indera tergolong abstrak sehingga membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang sederhana dan mudah dipahami untuk mempermudah proses pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji keefektifan media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality pada materi panca indera. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, meliputi tahap Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media "Panca Indera AR" secara signifikan meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa, dengan rata-rata skor pretest sebesar 33,5 yang meningkat menjadi 82,916 pada post-test. Uji t berpasangan menghasilkan nilai sebesar 0,858, menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara skor sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media. Selain itu, hasil uji gain sebesar 1,0008 menegaskan efektivitas tinggi dari media ini dalam menjelaskan materi yang kompleks dan abstrak. Media AR tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman siswa, tetapi juga memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan, sehingga mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan lebih lanjut media berbasis AR untuk berbagai subjek lain serta pelatihan bagi guru guna mengoptimalkan penerapannya. Dengan dukungan infrastruktur yang memadai dan kolaborasi berbagai pihak, media AR dapat menjadi solusi inovatif untuk mengatasi tantangan pendidikan modern dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara menyeluruh di era smart society.

Abstract

This study aimed to understand how the creative values ​​in Pancasila Student Profile are applied in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning in the third-grade of elementary school students. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study model implemented at integrated Islamic elementary school (SDIT) Yasir, Cipondoh, Tangerang. The study subjects included 3 teachers and 27 third-grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documents, while data validity was tested using source and technique triangulation. Data analysis was carried out interactively through the stages of collection, reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that teachers have integrated creative values ​​in IPAS learning by linking them to various learning activities. One concrete example was the project of making Geographic modelling using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) approach. In this activity, students were engaged in the assigned activities to design, build, and present the model from simple materials. Through this process, they learned to think innovatively, dare to express ideas, and work collaboratively. This activity was proven effective to increase student motivation and participation, although there were still obstacles such as limited time and understanding of scientific concepts. Therefore, teachers are required to enhance their novelty strategy in the pedagogical approaches so that the ability of students thoughts and creativity can be maximized.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the Project Based Learning learning model assisted by interactive digital media on the critical thinking skills in science and science subjects of fifth grade students at Al Fattah Islamic Elementary School. This research uses quantitative research methods with a Pre-Experimental Research Design type One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample for this research was the fifth grade students of Al Fattah Islamic Elementary School, totaling 15 students. The data collection technique was carried out in the form of a description type test with 10 questions given during the pretest and post-test. Data analysis techniques include research instruments consisting of validity, reliability, distinguishing power and level of difficulty tests, then normality tests and paired sample t-test hypothesis tests to determine the comparison of pretest and post-test average scores. The research results show that the Project Based Learning learning model assisted by interactive digital media can improve students' critical thinking abilities. This is proven by the difference in the average score at the pretest of 44.07 and at the post-test of 86.33. In the results of the paired sample t-test, the sig value was obtained. (2-tailed), namely 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning learning model assisted by interactive digital media has an influence on the critical thinking skills of the science and science subjects of fifth grade students at Al Fattah Islamic Elementary School.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an interactive learning media called MAMEYA (Mari Mengenal Gaya) to improve students' critical thinking skills. The method used is R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this research were all 25 fourth-grade students of SD Negeri Tempuran 1. Data collection techniques used validation questionnaire instruments, response questionnaires, and test questions. Questionnaire data analysis used descriptive categorical and percentage techniques. At the same time, the test data analysis used a paired sample T-test and the N-Gain test, which had previously carried out a data normality test as a prerequisite test. The research results showed that the validation (feasibility) assessment obtained very feasible criteria with a score of 90% from the media aspect, 93% from the material aspect, and 87% from the language aspect. The practicality assessment obtained very practical criteria based on the response value given by the teacher of 97% and students of 89%. The effectiveness assessment was obtained by calculating the data normality test with a Sig. value pre-test 0.079 and post-test 0.850 > 0.05, which shows that the data of the students' test assessment results are normally distributed. The calculation of the paired sample T-test obtained a Sig. (2 tailed = 0.000) < 0.05, which means that MAMEYA interactive media affects students' critical thinking skills. At the same time, the N-Gain test obtained a value of 0.6644 with a moderate category, which shows an increase in critical thinking skills after using MAMEYA interactive media. It is concluded that MAMEYA interactive media can be feasible, practical, and effective in improving critical thinking skills and facilitating better student understanding.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to: (1) Obtain How the Application of the paired storytelling learning model, (2) how the skill of students in the Control class and Experimental Class, and (3) how the effect of paired storytelling learning on students' speaking skill. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, namely a type of quasi-experimental research using a post-test group design. The subjects of this study were 13 students consisting of 7 students in the experimental class and 6 students in the fifth-year control class selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through pretest, treatment, and posttest, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Statistical tests that support inferential analysis are used in the form of paired sample t-tests. The results of the analysis show that (1) The application of paired storytelling for class 5 can improve speaking skill by motivating students to practice paired speaking activities so that they can motivate students' self-confidence and speaking skill (2) The speaking skill of students from the control class look stagnant with decreasing achievements because the teaching methods taught after that are stagnant again. While in the experimental class that applies the paired storytelling method, students' speaking skill have increased quite significantly, such as phrases and expressions. (3) The use of the Paired Storytelling model produces a positive effect in improving the speaking ability of 5th grade students by increasing social interaction, vocabulary, practicing speaking in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. The test results show that there is a significant difference between the two groups, a significance value of 0.00 (p <0.05) and a determination coefficient value of 58.7%, the average value of students' speaking skill in the experimental group increased significantly compared to the control group. Therefore, the use of this model has proven effective in improving speaking skill at the initial level and can then be adjusted to learning needs.

Abstract

The use of learning media is one of the tools to help educators achieve their learning objectives. This study aims to develop valid, practical, and effective letter puzzle learning media so that it is suitable for use to improve the early reading skills of class I B students at State Islamic Elementary School (MIN) Pematang Siantar. This type of research is development research or R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The data collection instruments used were observation, interviews, and response questionnaires to 1 teacher and 22 students from class one. Furthermore, the initial reading ability test (pretest and posttest), as well as validation sheets from media and material experts, with qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques for validation and response data, and the n-gain test to analyze the improvement in early reading skills. The results of the media expert validation showed a score of 90.6% and material 82.6%, which indicated the feasibility of the media. The positive response results from teachers (89.2%) and students (86.2%) showed the practicality and good acceptance of the media. A significant increase in students' early reading ability is evidenced by an n-gain of 0.77 (77%) which is categorized as high or effective. This study concludes that letter puzzle learning media is effective in improving the early reading ability of first grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Papua Nature Exploration (PNE) is an extracurricular Scout activity at Muhammadiyah Teminabuan Elementary School, South Sorong. This activity aims to shape students' character of responsibility and love for nature. This study aims to examine the implementation, supporting and inhibiting factors, and how to deal with obstacles in PNE activities. The study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data triangulation was applied to ensure validity by cross-checking information obtained from different sources. The results showed that Papua Nature Exploration (PNE) is a structured scouting extracurricular activity that fosters responsibility and love for nature through team formation, environmental education, outdoor survival training, exploration, conservation efforts, and interactive games. PNE activities were effective in building character of responsibility and love for nature in grades V and VI students. This is reflected in the attitude of caring, focusing, and protecting the environment during the activity. Supporting factors for the success of PNE include the involvement of Scout Leaders, Muhammadiyah Middle School students, PDM Sorong Selatan, and student enthusiasm. Obstacles found include the distance of the activity location which is far from the school and unpredictable weather. This study recommends the development of interesting activities to instill positive character in students. In addition, it is recommended to further develop PNE activities using experimental methods to test their effectiveness on a larger scale.

Abstract

Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach is very important to adopt because it is able to integrate cultural values and experiences of students into learning, thus creating an inclusive, relevant, and adaptive learning environment to the needs of students. This study aims to explore the application of the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach in learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in Elementary Schools. The research method chosen is a systematic literature review by analyzing 1,011 articles from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases published in the 2020-2025 period. The results of the analysis of various articles, the application of the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach in IPAS learning can increase motivation, participation, 21st century skills, and learning outcomes of students, especially in the context of cultural diversity in the classroom. The research gap that can be filled based on the results of the analysis is the application of the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach in IPAS learning not only on the learning outcomes of cognitive aspects but also affective aspects and 21st century skills as a whole . In addition, the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach encourages teachers to be more innovative in designing learning strategies that are adaptive to the needs and characteristics of students. Thus, Culturally Responsive Teaching can be a strategic solution in developing science learning that is in line with the demands of 21st century education in Elementary School.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing whether the application of differentiated learning has accommodated the needs of students' learning styles and reviewing in more depth how the application of differentiated learning in science subjects in optimizing the independent curriculum. The number of informants in this study was one fourth grade teacher. And thirty students in the application of learning in class. This type of research uses a qualitative method and uses a descriptive approach. Data collection through interview methods with fourth grade teachers, observation and documentation obtained from teaching modules, LKPD, produced by students, teaching materials and other supporting documents. Data validity testing uses triangulation of techniques and sources. The data analysis technique follows the Miles and Huberman procedure which contains three techniques; data reduction in the context of this study in the form of interview results, observations, documentation and student learning questionnaire results, presentation of data from the results of the reduction is presented in the form of tables and descriptive narratives and finally drawing conclusions. The findings of the analysis show that learning styles influence the achievement and learning outcomes through a differentiated approach. By implementing the four aspects and steps of differentiated learning, learning is not only more focused but also makes it look enthusiastic, the classroom atmosphere becomes fun which is supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure and improves student learning outcomes. This study, the application of differentiated learning is an effective approach because students get learning experiences that are in accordance with their interests and learning needs so that students become more motivated and appreciate differences in learning styles and teachers become more creative and innovative even though they sometimes add lessons outside of class hours so that students get good learning grades.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of QR Code-based quartet cards to improve students' understanding of active and passive sentences, and to emphasize the role of teachers in creating an interactive learning atmosphere. The purpose of this article is to examine the feasibility of quartet game media using QR codes to improve students' understanding of active and passive sentences, by considering the aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of quartet media. This type of research adopts a development model or Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE approach consisting of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects in this study involved one material expert, one media expert, one language expert, one teacher, and 28 students of class IV-A Private Elementary School (MIS) Hidayatussalam. In this study, two types of data were used, namely qualitative data and quantitative data, the data collection process was carried out with various instruments, such as media and material validation sheets filled in by expert validators, as well as questionnaires about student and teacher responses, and pretest and posttest instrument sheets. The results of the study showed that the validity of media experts gave a score of 98%, material experts gave a score of 86%, while language experts gave a score of 94%. Therefore, the average total validation score reached 94% with the criteria of "very feasible". The practicality obtained from the questionnaire filled out by teachers and students produced a figure of 99% with the category of "very practical". The effectiveness of the media was analyzed through a comparison of pretest and posttest values ​​using the N-Gain test of 0.61% with a range> 0.7 and included in the "moderate" category. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the quartet card media (KARPET) is feasible to be applied in the Indonesian language learning process on active and passive sentence material in class IV MIS Hidayatussalam.
