Abstract

ABSTRAK Penambahan tingkat pada sebuah gedung yang sudah beroperasi sering dijumpai di lapangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis kinerja struktur beton bertulang dengan penambahan tingkat menggunakan struktur baja dan juga mengetahui nilai dari faktor modifikasi respon (R), nilai kuat lebih struktur (?o), dan faktor pembesar perpindahan (Cd) yang diperlukan dalam mendesain struktur akibat beban gempa. Struktur yang ditinjau adalah struktur gedung perkantoran terdiri dari 5 tingkat berada diatas tanah sedang pada wilayah dengan kategori seismic D. Gedung tidak beraturan horizontal dengan denah L yang struktur awalnya didesain sebagai beton bertulang (M1), kemudian divariasikan dengan mengganti tingkat ke 5 dengan struktur baja sebagai variasi pertama (M2) dan variasi kedua, tingkat 4 dan 5 diganti dengan struktur baja (M3). Sambungan kolom baja ke beton dimodel dengan tiga jenis hubugan yaitu rigid (M2R, M3R), semi rigid (M2SR, M3SR) dan sendi (M2S, M3S). Struktur dimodelkan secara 3D dan dianalisis dengan static nonlinear pushover pada program berbasis elemen hingga. Level kinerja struktur dievaluasi mengikuti FEMA 440. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa level kinerja struktur dengan penambahan baja adalah immediate occupancy (IO), sedangkan struktur awal berupa beton bertulang adalah collapse prevention (CP). Nilai R semua model struktur pada penelitian ini melebihi nilai R menurut FEMA P-695 sebesar 6,0. Struktur dengan sambungan rigid dan semi rigid tidak menghasilkan perbedaan nilai R yang signifikan, namun sangat jelas berbeda untuk struktur yang menggunakan sambungan sendi. Nilai ?o semua struktur berkisar 4,61 hingga 6,03 dan telah melebihi nilai ?o yang ditentukan SNI 1727:2012 dan FEMA P-695. Semua model struktur memiliki nilai faktor pembesar perpindahan (Cd) kurang dari 2 kecuali struktur dengan penambahan 2 tingkat baja dan sambungan sendi (M3S) yang menghasilkan faktor pembesar perpindahan (Cd) lebih besar dari 4.

Abstract

Rework is unavoidable from the world of construction, Rework can be a devastating effect on the performance and productivity of both the consultant and the contractor. This study aims to determine the main factors causing rework, efforts to reduce rework. The analysis used the analysis Multivariant factor analysis with the help of Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) for Windows version 17.0. From the results obtained by factor analysis the main factors causing the occurrence of rework are: aspects of the owner (poor communication, poor coordination, poor information flow), aspects of planning consultants (lack of information in the field, lack of communication, the situation in the picture on the ground is not suitable). aspects of construction management consultants (lack of information in the field, lack of communication, lack of control), aspects of mechanical electrical plumbing contractors (Materials misdirected, MEP staff inexperience, lack of knowledge about the character of the material, the amount of overtime), aspects of the contractor (lack of competence foreman, foreman lack of experience, lack of experience, the quality of labor is bad, the error in interpreting the specification), aspects of operator (poor flow of information, lack of communication, lack of coordination, lack of operator experience). Efforts to systematically reduce rework most effective according to the respondent's answer is: Systematic planning, detailing and describing the project at every stage of the steps to be taken to achieve quality objectives, set standards of communication, coordination and construction project sinkronasi work with all parties involved in the implementation of the project, Constructing specification limits and criteria and quality standards to be used in engineering design, procurement and construction materials.

Abstract

Since rainfall and surface water availability is limited, Lombok island has high risk drought. Drought causes poverty due to its close corellation to desease spread and lack of food. So it needs to recognize drought characteristic for early anticipation and adaptation. Standardized Precipitation Index is the method to be used to determine rainfall deviation from its normal depth. SPI was chosen because of its simplicity and ability to count the index of drought and figure its grade. Data for this analyses was taken from 1996-2015 of rainfall station entire Lombok Island, then the result figured out in a drought map using Arc GIS. The result of this study shows that the severest drought for annually deficit period indexed -3.25 was happened at Lingkuk Lime on 2002, then for 6 monthly deficit period indexed -4.97 happened at Sekotong on July-December 2000, afterwards for 3 monthly deficit period indexed -4.72 happened at Loang Make on Pebruary-April 2002, later for monthly deficit period indexed -4.99 happened at Jurang Sate on January 2015. Abstract

Abstract Researches about lightweight concrete that be held nowadays, have some weakness particularly in compressive strength. Usually researches about lightweight concrete with pumice that uses Portland giving result about 13,5-16,8 MPa of compressive strength. For reducing the cement using, it is needed to find an alternative of Portland cement exchanged that improve the compressive strength at once. In addition, for compressive strength increasing it is needed to use water low water stirring. But, with a low water stirring, so mixing will be difficult for doing so it is needed superplastizer for mixing easier. Fly ash varieties  as an exchanged of  a  part of Portland cement start from 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%. The weight ratio of cement : sand : pumice is 1,00 : 3,07 : 1,14 with factor adhesive water 0,32 refers SNI 03-3449-2002 with compressive strength of the plan is 18 MPa. This study uses superplasticizer 0,4% and 0,8% of cement weight is added during the mixing concrete. Distribution of sand and pumice designed by SNI 03-2834-2000, zone 1 for sand and graduation maximum diameter of 12,5 for pumice. Increase compressive strength and modulus of elasticity occurred with age concrete hydration of 28 days to 56 days. Compressive strength increase with fly ash varieties  as an exchanged of  a  part of Portland cement with fly ash until 20% and then decreasing. However, the replacement of Portland cement 40% with fly ash was produced higher compressive strength than without fly ash. A relatively same indicator be shown on modulus of elasticity that be carried out from changing of 20% Portland cement by fly ash and 40% superplasticizer consecutively as 14,34 MPa and 10766,71 MPa in 28 days and 18,12 MPa and 11006,56 MPa in 56 days.

Abstract

ANALYSIS OF SHAPE EFFECT OF REINFORCED CONCRETE SHEAR WALL DUE TO CAPACITY AND REBAR AREAABSTRACTThere are several way to improve the structural performance of high rise building in anticipate horizontal drift and reduce structure time period, one of the solution is by adding the shear wall. Shear wall has many type if it divided by it’s shape, including I-Shape, L-Shape, T-Shape and IWF-Shape that can be adapted with the available plan and building shape. The shape difference of shear wall is linear with the difference of shear wall capacity in enduring the forces and the difference of rebar area. By using S-concrete version 7.02 when modelling 4 type of shear walls that given the same axial force and moment and the same materials, it can be concluded that the biggest axial forces and moment capacity is on the I-Shape shear wall as evidenced by axial: momen ratio compare to the capacity as big as 0.71, followed by IWF-Shape (0.86), and L-Shape and T-Shape (both 0.96). Evaluated from total of rebar area, starting from the smallest, I-Shape shear wall with area 29166 mm2, followed by L-Shape (36666 mm2), T-Shape (40833 mm2), and IWF-Shape (51250 mm2).

Abstract

Abstract : Regency Water Supply Company (PDAM) of Denpasar city is one of the PDAM that have a healthy predicate from 2009-2012 based on the results by the assessment Development Support Agency of Water Supply System (BPPSPAM). But in fact many customer complaints are heard in the newspaper and electronic media. From PDAM of Denpasar city annual report in 2013, there were 6,738 cases of complaints regarding service and 83.38 percent came from the technical aspect. This research aims to determine the level of customer satisfaction, the indicators that affect customer satisfaction and indicators affecting what should be improved to increase customer satisfaction reviewed from technical aspect. This research was conducted in Denpasar city with the 398 respondents who are household customer PDAM of Denpasar. The analysis took based on the Importance-Performance analysis and Gap analysis. Importance-Performance analysis resulted in indicators of influence and should be improved to increase customer satisfaction. While the Gap analysis  showed the level of customer satisfaction PDAM of Denpasar city. The majority of customer were dissatisfied with the service received from technical aspects. Shown from the Gap of -1.01 and suitability level of performance and the importance is worth 0.76 (less than 1). The level of customer satisfaction PDAM Denpasar city for complaints of the piping aspect (-1.09) is at a low level satisfaction (-1,059 < I < -1,01), while satisfaction level for the water quality (-0.982), water continuity (-0.975), speed installation of new connections (-1.003) and water meters (-0.973) are at moderate levels of satisfaction(-1,01 < I < -0,961). The indicators that affect customer satisfaction are the clarity of the water, smelly water, flavored water, chemical content, hours of availability of water in the life activity, alertness operators in the installation of new connection, reading the water meter, water meter repair damage, and alertness/speed handling of complaints about the piping. Some performance indicators should be improved by the PDAM of Denpasar city to improve customer satisfaction are the clarity of the water, the smell of the water, the availability of water at life activity, alertness operators in the installation of new connections, water meters repair damage, and alertness/speed handling of complaints about the piping.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Perilaku rangka beton bertulang dengan dinding pengisi berlubang sentris (RDP) dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik material dan geometrinya. Analisis sensitivitas dilakukan pada model RDP menggunakan analisis numerik akibat variasi modulus elastisitas dinding (Em), modulus elastisitas beton (Ec), dan lebar strat diagonal (wds) pada struktur RDP. Balok dan kolom dimodel sebagai elemen frame dan dinding pengisi berlubang dimodel sebagai strat diagonal. Hasil analisis sensitivitas model RDP kemudian dibandingkan dengan hasil eksperimen peneliti lain dan diaplikasikan pada gedung perkantoran 3 lantai. Hasil analisis sensitivitas menunjukkan bahwa nilai modulus elastisitas dinding (Em), modulus elastisitas beton (Ec), dan Inersia balok (Ib) dan inersia kolom (Ik) perlu direduksi setelah 95% beban lateral dikerjakan pada struktur. Nilai reduksi pada beban 95% adalah sebesar 0,6 dan 0,8 masing-masing untuk modulus elastisitas dan inersia. Pada beban 100%, nilai modulus dan inersia dinding pengisi masing-masing direduksi sebesar 0,5 dan 0,7. Lebar strat diagonal (wds) yang digunakan dalam analisis yaitu Persamaan 1. Hasil analisis pada gedung menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan beban dari 95% ke 100% dan reduksi modulus elastisitas serta inersia, mengakibatkan peningkatan simpangan struktur, terjadi penurunan momen lapangan pada balok sebesar 4,74%-11,22%, dan penurunan momen tumpuan pada balok sebesar 12,84%-14,15%. Pada kolom, terjadi penurunan momen sebesar 1,24%-17,94%. Penurunan gaya geser pada balok terjadi sebesar 0,97%-1,63%, sedangkan pada kolom sebesar 1,67%-4,84%, namun terjadi peningkatan gaya aksial pada kolom sebesar 4,03%-5,36%.

Abstract

Truss frames are often applied with bridges. Bridges are structures that require early handling to find out the damage and ensure that the bridge is safe. The damage to the bridge element will affect the overall behavior of the bridge. Common cause of bridge damage is reduction of cross section (due to corrosion) and material quality decrease. Damage that occurs need monitoring to avoid the occurrence of structural failure, monitoring is needed. The analysis with program to model the reduction of cross-section by 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. Truss frames are modeled with a load of P = 3kg. The damage model is limited by 8 cases for section reduction. The reduction of the cross section will result in a decrease in the stiffness of the structure, resulting in changes in displacement values ??and shear forces occurring. The displacement increased by 3% -5% when a reduction was made to the cross section. Join 4 (the middle of the span) has the greatest damage value when compared to other joints of -0.000003489 m, at number 1,7 displacement value is 0 m. In various scenarios the greatest damage is due to the reduction of C rod where the displacement and force increases significance. When the C rod is damaged shear force is increases 6%. The rod that experiences the largest shear force of the D rod (right side C) is then followed by the rods of the support area and the rod that is damaged itself. Abstract

Research on factors that affect the value of residential buildings in the city of Denpasar has been done consisting of literature review, interviews with experts, data collection and statistical analysis. Obtained from literature review were 45 factors which then grouped into four, namely: land characteristics, environment, location, and building characteristics. Survey on 27 valuation expert respondents was done to obtain their perceptions on the factors, and then their perceptions were measured with Likert scale. The data were then statistically tested to determine its validity and reliability, after which factor analysis was performed to obtain factors that truly valid within its group. To further evaluate the dominant factor in each group, two hundred data of previously assessed residential buildings were collected and analyzed using multiple linear regression. Results showed that group of factors that affect the value of residential building the most is location (7.723) followed by environment (3.843), building characteristics (3,741) and land characteristics (3.253). Downtown area, road width, building area, and land area are the factor of location, environment, building characteristics, and land characteristics, respectively, that dominantly showed positive effect within its group. SUTET transmission, poor road conditions, poor physical condition of the house, and the land at road end "tusuk sate" dominantly showed negative impact within its group.

Abstract

The rapid development of infrastructure in Bali has increased the number of service providers in construction field, one of them are contractors. A contractor must be able to demonstrate good performance to face the competition in construction field. The success of an enterprise is influenced by many sources in the company, including human resources, technology and money. Human resources have an important role to achieve the organization's objectives. PT. Sarana Jaya Kusuma (JKS) is one of the contractors that have obtained ISO 9001: 2008, and based on evaluation of the implementation of ISO 9001 in 2013, the quality of Human Resources at PT. JKS Bali still needs to be improved in accordance with indicators of objectives and targets of each division. Therefore this research aims to analyzed factors and dominant factors that affect on the performance of employees. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. Data was collected through a survey using questionares and was analyzed using factor analysis to determine the factors and the dominant factors that affect the performance of employees at PT.JKS. The result suggested 13 factors that affect the performance of employees at PT. JKS, which was classified into 6 groups. The first group was training, interest and education; the second group was ability, discipline, evaluation; the third group was social security and perception of the rule; the fourth group was leadership and reward; the fifth group was work placement and the capacity of self; the sixth group was resource. The first group was the dominant factor than covered training, interest and education. Therefore, in order to improve their employee performance, PT. JKS should pay attention particularly to the dominant factors, i.e.: by providing training, identifying interest and education of the employees that suitable for their job description.
