Abstract

Latar Belakang: Fleksibilitas adalah kemampuan jaringan atau otot untuk mencapai gerakan maksimal pada sendi tanpa adanya rasa sakit atau nyeri dari berbagai posisi. Otot hamstring, yang berperan sebagai penggerak fleksi lutut, dapat mengalami kerusakan jika tidak cukup fleksibel saat terjadi gerakan ekstensi lutut. Prestasi atlet dalam olahraga memerlukan persiapan matang dalam aspek fisik, teknik, emosional, dan spiritual, termasuk kesehatan fisik, dengan fokus pada kelenturan otot hamstring. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif non-eksperimental. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan antara fleksibilitas hamstring dan faktor risiko pemendekan hamstring pada remaja dewasa di wilayah Ambokembang. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis cross-sectional, dengan variabel bebas meliputi umur dan jenis kelamin, dan variabel terikat adalah kejadian gangguan muskuloskeletal pada remaja. Indeks massa tubuh (IMT) dijadikan variabel kontrol. Hasil: Berdasarkan analisis data dari 32 partisipan (22 laki-laki dan 10 perempuan), nilai IMT berkisar antara 19,0 hingga 23,3 dengan rata-rata IMT sebesar 21,47. Hasil pengukuran fleksibilitas otot hamstring menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 5,81, dengan nilai tertinggi mencapai 8 dan nilai terendah di angka 4. Kategori fleksibilitas otot hamstring terbagi menjadi baik (31,25%) dan cukup (68,75%). Simpulan: Terdapat dominasi remaja dengan fleksibilitas hamstring rendah dibandingkan dengan yang memiliki fleksibilitas baik. Kata Kunci: fleksibilitas, hamstring, sit and reach

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Masa kanak-kanak merupakan suatu critical period dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan seorang anak. Adanya suatu perkembangan berupa menetapnya bantalan lemak pada arkus pedis akan memicu kondisi flat foot pada anak. Kondisi tersebut berpotensi menjadi masalah kesehatan, seperti otot plantaris mudah lelah dan teriritasi. Masalah ini ditakutkan mengakibatkan kurang terstimulasinya perkembangan keterampilan motorik pada anak khususnya kelincahan. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah mengetahui bagaimana flat foot dan kelincahan berhubungan pada siswa sekolah dasar di Denpasar. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan strategi cross sectional, total sampling, dan desain analisis observasional. Sebanyak 90 anak terpilih menjadi sampel sesuai kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai Oktober 2022 di sekolah dasar yang berlokasi di Denpasar. Variabel independen pada penelitian yaitu flat foot dengan alat ukur footprint test serta clarke’s angle sebagai penentu grade flat foot sedangkan variabel dependen yaitu kelincahan yang diukur dengan alat ukur agility T-test. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan sampel sebanyak 90 orang dengan kondisi flat foot terklasifikasi menjadi grade 1, 2, dan 3. Sementara itu, pada variabel kelincahan dikategorikan menjadi dua, yaitu average dan poor. Setelah dilakukan analisis uji chi square diperoleh hasil nilai p 0,07 (p>0,05). Simpulan: Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan secara statistik antara kelincahan dan flat foot pada anak sekolah dasar, terbukti dengan nilai p sebesar 0,07 (p>0,05). Temuan ini dapat dikaitkan dengan variabel perancu yang mungkin berdampak pada kelincahan anak, seperti indeks massa tubuh, aktivitas fisik, footwear, suhu, dan kelembapan. Abstract

Pendahuluan: Siswa SMA merupakan salah satu kelompok masyarakat yang aktif menggunakan teknologi, termasuk penggunaan smartphone. Penggunaan smartphone yang tidak terkendali dan berkelanjutan dapat mengakibatkan kondisi adiksi smartphone. Adiksi atau kecanduan smartphone adalah kondisi di mana seseorang sangat terikat pada penggunaan smartphone dan sulit untuk menghentikannya. Kondisi kecanduan ini dapat berdampak negatif, salah satunya terkait dengan keluhan postur seperti Forward Head Posture (FHP). Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Subjek penelitian ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Jumlah subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 60 orang yang telah disesuaikan dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Data penelitian yang dikumpulkan mencakup tingkat adiksi smartphone yang diukur dengan kuesioner Smartphone Addiction Scale-Short Version (SAS-SV), serta pengukuran derajat Craniovertebra Angle (CVA) untuk menentukan FHP, yang diukur menggunakan teknik fotogrametri. Hasil: Uji hipotesis chi-square digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat adiksi smartphone dan kejadian FHP pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Semarapura. Hasil uji menunjukkan nilai p sebesar 0,025 (p < 0,05), menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan. Simpulan: Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat adiksi smartphone dan kejadian FHP pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Semarapura. Abstract

Pendahuluan: Mahasiswa mengalami masa transisi yang ditandai dengan adanya perubahan lingkungan seperti pola makan dan aktivitas fisik, dimana pada masa ini terjadi penurunan kualitas diet. Ketidakseimbangan antara asupan kebutuhan akan menimbulkan masalah gizi baik itu kelebihan atau kekurangan gizi. Penumpukan massa lemak pada daerah sendi dan otot akan membuat penurunan kekuatan otot dan menyembabkan fleksibilitas tubuh menurun. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara indeks massa tubuh dengan fleksibilitas hamstring pada mahasiswa Fisioterapi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Udayana. Metode: Penelitian ini mengunakan rancangan penelitian observational analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling, dengan jumlah subjek yang digunakan sebanyak 69 orang mahasiswa. Variabel independen adalah indeks massa tubuh yang diproleh dengan mengukur berat badan dan tinggi badan serta variabel dependen adalah fleksibilitas hamstring yang diukur menggunakan sit and reach test. Hasil: Hasil uji korelasi spearman rho diproleh nilai signifikansi sebesar p=0,345 (p>0,05). Simpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan antara indeks massa tubuh dengan fleksibilitas hamstring pada mahasiswa Fisioterapi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Udayana. Abstract

Introduction: Gross motor skills are related to children's proficiency in various movements and are often used in sports activities. One aspect of gross motor development is agility. Mastery of physical skills in children aged 10-12 years provides a source of enjoyment and achievement, supporting play and other activities. Boys and girls differ both physically and morphologically. Agility impacts the optimization of children's motor skills in solving problems, participating in sports activities, fitness, coordination, and precision of movements. It also influences their concentration levels and academic performance in school. Methods: This study employed an observational analytical method with a cross-sectional design using purposive sampling. The research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 08 Dau, with a total sample size of 116 children. The Hexagon Agility Test was used as the instrument for this study. Results: The one-way ANOVA test showed no significant difference in agility based on age (p=0.24). However, the Mann-Whitney test results indicated a significant difference in agility levels based on gender (p=0.02). Conclusion: The study found a difference in agility levels among children aged 10-12 years based on gender. However, there was no difference in agility between the ages of 10, 11, and 12. Abstract

Introduction: Development is an integral part of the human life cycle, and the under-five years old (toddlers) period is crucial in this process. A child's nutritional status is one aspect that influences development across various domains. However, stunted development and malnutrition persist, particularly in Indonesia. Bali province, especially Denpasar City, exhibits a high level of good nutritional conditions. Nevertheless, some children still face problems, including excessive, inadequate, or poor nutrition. This study aims to determine the relationship between nutritional status and toddler development at the Mawar Integrated Health Post in Tegal Harum Village. Methods: The research employed an analytical observational approach with a cross-sectional design. Purposive sampling was used to select 58 children under five as subjects. Data collection involved measuring nutritional status using Weight-for-Age (WAZ) and toddler development using the Pre-Screening Development Questionnaire (PSDQ). Results: A chi-square test was conducted to analyze the relationship between nutritional status and toddler development. The results showed a significant relationship with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05. Conclusion: Based on the findings, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between nutritional status and toddler development at the Mawar Integrated Health Post in Tegal Harum Village. Abstract

Introduction: Around 60-80% of individuals experience low back pain in their lifetime, often leading to disability. The Roland-Morris Disability Questionnaire (RMDQ) is a tool used to assess disability caused by low back pain, measuring its impact on daily activities. To ensure its effectiveness, it is crucial to test the questionnaire's validity and reliability in different cultural contexts. Methods: This study employed a descriptive survey method and a cross-sectional design with a purposive sampling technique, involving 124 subjects. Content validity was assessed through expert evaluation using the Content Validity Index (CVI), while construct validity was measured using Pearson Product-Moment Correlation. Reliability was evaluated through Cronbach’s Alpha to assess internal consistency. Results: The analysis revealed weak to moderate construct validity values (0.361–0.402) and excellent content validity index scores (S-CVI/Ave=1). Reliability analysis demonstrated good reliability with a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.725. Conclusion: The Indonesian version of the RMDQ questionnaire is valid and reliable for evaluating low back pain disability. It is suitable for use in clinical practice, enabling Indonesian patients to comprehend the questionnaire without losing the essence of the original version. Further research is needed to explore the onset and causes of low back pain disability in more depth. Abstract

Introduction: Individuals aged 60 years and above, defined as the elderly, undergo physical and neurological changes due to degenerative processes, often associated with health problems. The risk of hypertension is common among the elderly due to their tendency to have high blood pressure. One factor contributing to hypertension is sleep quality, defined by how well a person sleeps and is characterized by feelings of freshness and vigour upon waking. Methods: An observational analytic study with a cross-sectional approach was chosen for this research. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. A total of 98 older women were obtained through Lemeshow's sample calculation. Data collection included measuring the sleep quality of the elderly using the Indonesian version of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire and measuring hypertension levels using a sphygmomanometer and stethoscope. Results: Hypothesis analysis using Spearman's rho test showed a significant relationship between sleep quality and hypertension levels among the elderly in Pejeng Tampaksiring Village, with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between sleep quality and hypertension levels among the elderly in Pejeng Tampaksiring Village. Abstract

Introduction: Woodball is an outdoor sport played individually or in teams, where players hit a ball with a mallet to pass it through a gate using as few strokes as possible. Mastering the long drive shot is essential for success, as it helps cover long fairways in fewer strokes. This study examines the relationship between arm muscle strength and long drive distance in woodball athletes in Bali. Methods: Using a cross-sectional approach, this observational analytic study used purposive sampling to select 50 athletes aged 15-18 who participated in the 2023 Youth Pledge Cup. Data were collected using a hand dynamometer to measure arm muscle strength and a 30-meter course to measure long drive distances. Athletes took two shots, and distances were categorized into over 30 meters and under 30 meters. Results: Spearman-Rho analysis showed a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and an r-value of 0.569, indicating a statistically significant and direct correlation between increased arm muscle strength and long drive distance. The r-value suggests a moderate to strong correlation, emphasizing the importance of arm muscle strength in enhancing long-drive performance. Conclusion: There is a strong correlation between arm muscle strength and long-drive performance in woodball athletes in Bali. Keywords: arm muscle strength, long drive shot, woodball athletes

Abstract

Introduction: The percentage of the elderly population in Bali increased to 12.47% in 2020, leading to heightened risks and fear of falling with age. One measure to assess fear of falling is the ABC-6 Scale, which gauges self-confidence in maintaining body balance. A well-measured instrument requires good validity and reliability. Testing the validity and reliability of the questionnaire is essential to demonstrate its usefulness in measuring fear of falling and screening fall risks in the future. Methods: This study employed a descriptive survey method to assess content validity using expert evaluation and a cross-sectional design with a purposive sampling technique involving 49 subjects. Validity testing utilized Pearson product-moment correlation for construct validity and Content Validity Index for content validity assessment. Reliability testing employed Cronbach's alpha to assess internal consistency. Results: The analysis revealed good construct validity values (0.509-0.823) and excellent content validity index scores (S-CVI/Ave=0.98). Reliability analysis using Cronbach's alpha demonstrated good reliability (0.775). Conclusion: The modified Indonesian version of the ABC-6 Scale is valid and reliable for screening and evaluating fear of falling among older people.
