Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the Korean wave on students' attitudes of responsibility and commitment to local wisdom. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The results show that the Korean wave has a significant influence on students' attitudes of responsibility, with a correlation coefficient of 0.909. The coefficient of determination value of 0.827 indicates that 82.7 percent of the variation in students' attitudes of responsibility is influenced by exposure to the Korean wave. In comparison, 17.3 percent is influenced by other factors. The Korean wave also influences students' commitment to preserving local wisdom, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.909. The coefficient of determination value of 0.826 shows that 82.6 percent of the variation in student commitment to preserving local wisdom is influenced by exposure to the Korean wave, while 17.4 percent is influenced by other factors. The influence of the Korean wave on students' attitudes of responsibility and commitment to local wisdom is constructive if supported by adequate education and supervision patterns.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe civic values that can be integrated into public relations strategies, efforts to integrate civic values into public relations practices, and obstacles encountered in the process of integrating civic values. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. This study was conducted in several madrasas that actively utilize digital media, with research subjects including public relations managers, teachers, and related parties. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using content analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study indicate that civic values integrated into public relations strategies include nationalism, tolerance, responsibility, active participation, and digital ethics. Integration efforts are carried out through the use of digital media as a means of educational communication, digital ethics campaigns, and collaboration with various parties. The integration process still faces obstacles such as limited human digital resource competency, a focus on public relations that tends to be promotional, and suboptimal strategic planning based on civic values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of students' attitudes toward hate speech on social media and the factors that influence students' attitudes toward hate speech. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey method. The study population was all tenth-grade students of Nusantara Plus Senior High School, Ciputat, South Tangerang, with a sample of 70 students. The research instrument in this study was a questionnaire whose validity and reliability were tested. Data were analyzed using normality tests and one-tailed t-tests with the help of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences version 2.0. The results of the study indicate that the level of students' attitudes toward hate speech is in the very low category, with an average score of 143.21, lower than the limit value of 294. Students' attitudes toward hate speech are influenced by a conducive school environment, parental supervision, and sufficient understanding of digital communication ethics. The results of this study emphasize the important role of schools and families in preventing negative behavior on social media through digital literacy development and strengthening tolerance values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze termination of employment under force majeure circumstances, the dispute-resolution system based on statutory regulations, and alternative mechanisms that may be implemented to address disputes arising from such terminations. The research employs a normative legal research method with a statutory approach. The findings indicate that termination of employment by companies due to declining revenues leading to financial losses during periods of global crisis, which ultimately result in the temporary or permanent cessation of business operations, satisfies the characteristics of force majeure. The dispute resolution system for termination of employment under Law Number 2 of 2004 may be pursued through three mechanisms, namely bipartite negotiations conducted through deliberation to reach an agreement, tripartite procedures involving a third party through mediation, or adjudication before the Industrial Relations Court. Online dispute resolution, which enables dispute resolution without physical meetings by leveraging internet connectivity and video conferencing technology, represents an alternative model for resolving termination-of-employment disputes arising from force majeure that may be implemented in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze students' views on the potential of digital games as a learning medium and the opportunities to use them to build ecological awareness in support of sustainable development. This study used a quantitative approach involving 196 high school students in Palangka Raya City. The results of the study show that 51 percent of students are interested in game-based learning, 73.5 percent of students say that games can be used as a means of delivering material, 77.6 percent of students have learned using games both formally and informally, and 87.8 percent of students are willing to try educational games for learning in the future. The use of digital games as a learning medium for Pancasila and citizenship education can shape students' ecological awareness in the context of sustainable development. Obstacles to implementing digital games as a learning medium to shape ecological awareness include low levels of teachers' digital literacy, limited school infrastructure, and limited availability of environment-based educational games.

The multicultural behavior of female students is directed towards cultural insight, communication, cultural values, and cultural awareness, while male students are more dominant in flexibility. The intercultural communication of Javanese students tends to be more stable in terms of communication style and competence, while non-Javanese students have a higher intensity because they are able to actively practice cross-cultural communication. Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the formal requirements for filing a petition to annul the results of regional head elections and to examine the issues surrounding the application of the vote margin threshold in resolving disputes over regional head election results. This study employs a normative legal research method, using a statutory, conceptual, and case approach. The findings indicate that a petition for the annulment of regional head election results must satisfy two requirements, namely the existence of discrepancies in vote calculations between the election organizers and the petitioner, and the fulfillment of the vote margin threshold ranging from 0.5 percent to 2 percent as stipulated in Article 158 of Law Number 10 of 2016. The implementation of simultaneous regional head elections from 2015 to 2024 has generated a significant number of disputes totaling 743 registered cases. The Constitutional Court has demonstrated inconsistency in applying the vote margin threshold, as 24 out of 181 accepted cases did not meet the required percentage. The Constitutional Court's decision to accept cases that failed to meet the vote margin threshold is considered to deviate from the principle of legal certainty.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the complete systematic land registration program, including its legal basis, procedures, and obstacles and solutions in its implementation. This study used an empirical legal study method that refers to secondary and primary data. The results of the study indicate that the complete systematic land registration program is based on Law Number 5 of 1960 concerning Basic Agrarian Principles and Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning or the Head of the National Land Agency Number 6 of 2018. The implementation of the complete systematic land registration program includes location and budget preparation, collection of physical and legal data, bookkeeping and certificate issuance, and certificate delivery. Obstacles in the implementation of complete systematic land registration in Cibinong District include a lack of public understanding, differences in land area, limited land history data, and the existence of absentee land. Solutions to overcome obstacles in the implementation of complete systematic land registration include strengthening governance through outreach and cross-agency coordination, structuring transparent financing mechanisms, and updating land data through re-measurement and integration of digital land plot maps.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the normative basis for fostering political literacy among Nahdliyin citizens and bahtsul masa’il as a framework for political education in the Nahdlatul Ulama tradition. This study employed a qualitative approach, utilizing a case study design. The results of the study indicate that the development of political literacy among Nahdliyin citizens is based on classical texts, the opinions of scholars, the decisions of the Nahdlatul Ulama Muktamar, and the outcomes of the Musyawarah Alim Ulama. The values instilled in the process of developing political literacy among Nahdliyin citizens can be categorized into four key areas, namely tasamuh, tawasuth, tawazun, and ta'adul. Political literacy development within Nahdlatul Ulama is centered on the lajnah bahtsul masa'il as a forum that examines various social, political, and religious issues in depth from the perspective of ahlussunnah wal jama'ah scholarship and theology. The lajnah bahtsul masa'il functions as a center for law enforcement and collective decision-making among scholars, Syuriah, Khatib, A'wan, and Tanfidziyah.
