Abstract

M-Learning-E-Book is an innovative learning model that is relevant to the demands of the twenty-first-century scheme. Studies on M-Learning-E-Book are still not widely conducted by Indonesian researchers and the study is still limited to the effect of this model on student learning outcomes. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of M-Learning-E-Book implementation on higher-order thinking skills, retention, and learning motivation. This research used quasi quasi-experimental method through pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects were students of SMP Negeri Ngunut 1, 2023 academic year, totaling 87 experimental classes and 76 control classes in PAI lessons. In the control class, students followed learning in the form of expository and class discussions, while in the experimental class, students followed learning through E-book-based M-learning. In the experimental class, students met face-to-face for 4 times of online learning equivalent to 4 meetings. The research was conducted when the research subjects in both classes received the topic aspects of islamic history and culture. The instruments used to collect data were higher-order thinking skills test sheets, retention of learning outcomes, and motivation questionnaires. The data obtained were then analyzed using one-way MANOVA analysis with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that the application of M-Learning-E-Book had a significant effect on the achievement of higher-order thinking skills, retention, and learning motivation.  The results of this study indicate that M-Learning-E-Book is one of the learning alternatives that are by the demands of the twenty-first century. Abstract

Lack of understanding of responsibility and commitment means that marriage is no longer in a holy and sacred position. Learning about the Islamic religion, especially in the chapter on marriage, is not sufficient provision to provide an understanding of how to build commitment. In the marriage material, graduation in the course is only 30% of the total number of students, this is because the learning model used still uses the conventional model. In an effort to minimize the loss of commitment to marriage, a learning strategy is needed by developing a learning model with project-based learning that aims to increase students' understanding of the material on marriage in Islam. The research aims to ensure that religious learning in public universities can increase understanding of marriage and reduce the number of divorces in marriage. This research uses a qualitative approach using the research and development method, namely developing a learning model to make it more interesting so that the material presented can be properly understood by students. The findings of the research results show that the development of the model carried out can increase the graduation rate to 100%. The model developed can answer the needs of learning Islamic religion in public universities. Keywords:  Model Development, Marriage in Islam, Project Based Learning

Abstract

This study aims to explore phenomenologically informal education through the role of parents in providing economic education to children and education in family financial management. This study uses a qualitative approach to phenomenology. The informants in this study were six parents who were heads of families and, based on their profiling, met the requirements for achieving the research objectives. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation. Qualitative data analysis techniques are used through the data reduction phase to present information and draw conclusions. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that parents have the perception that economic education must be taught to children from an early age, especially in terms of managing money, reducing unnecessary expenses, and starting to save from an early age, so that children get used to being intelligent economic beings and prepare for future success. When teaching their children about family economics, parents focus on helping their children understand their family's financial situation and how to act responsibly by only spending as needed by providing explanations and modeling economic behavior. Additionally, content analysis is utilized to examine the data gathered. Based on its practical qualities and local wisdom values, the research's findings—which take the form of a presentation of Nasi Peleng's local knowledge—are appropriate for use as social sciences teaching materials. The religious, austere, and cooperative principles found in the Nasi Pelleng heritage can be used as a guide for how to behave in society, and this integration can be one of the attempts.maintaining communal knowledge that is beginning to be lost.
