Abstract

PEDOMAN PENJENJANGAN BUKU BACAAN BERBAHASA JAWA BERMUATAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER UNTUK SEKOLAH DASARAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan pedoman penjenjangan buku bacaan berbasis kearifan lokal sebagai media internalisasi pendidikan karakter untuk pembelajaran bahasa Jawa di sekolah dasar. Penelitian R & D versi Borg and Gall ini menggunakan subjek penelitian siswa kelas I-VI, guru, ahli bahasa, ahli pembelajaran, dan ahli media. Penelitian melibatkan 9 SD di Kota Yogyakarta, Bantul, dan Sleman. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, tes membaca, studi dokumentasi, dan angket sesuai dengan langkah-langkah kegiatan dalam penelitian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa prototipe dikembangkan sebagai pedoman penyusunan buku bacaan berjenjang bahasa Jawa berdasar kemampuan dan kebutuhan siswa sekolah dasar. Komponen penjenjangan teks adalah jenjang, panjang, tata letak, struktur dan organisasi, ilustrasi, dan konten. Validasi ahli bahasa, ahli pembelajaran, dan ahli media menunjukkan hasil sangat baik. Untuk memperjelas penjenjangan, disusun contoh buku bacaan berjenjang yang telah diujicobakan dalam kelompok kecil dan respons siswa menunjukkan baik serta berdasarkan kegiatan FGD diperoleh respons para guru sangat baik.AbstractThis study was aimed at developing book-grading guidance for Javanese reading books based on the local wisdom as a medium of character education in the elementary school. Borg and Gall's R & D model was used in this study. The research subjects were the elementary students of Grades I-VI, teachers, linguists, learning specialists, and media experts. The study involved 9 elementary schools in Yogyakarta, Bantul, and Sleman. The samples were chosen by purposive sampling techniques. The data were collected using interviews, observation, reading tests, documentation studies, and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results show that the prototype of the developed book-grading guideline for the Javanese reading book, based on the capabilities and the needs of elementary school students, includes components of level, length, layout, structure and organization, illustration, and content. The validation of linguists, learning experts, and media experts shows excellent results. To verify the grading, the results of the try-out on sampled small groups shows good student responses and, based on FGD activities, obtains excellent teacher responses.

Abstract

Depelopment of Thematic Learning Model Based on Traditional Games and Scientific Approch Oriented. This study aims to produce a prototype model of the traditional game based thematic learning and scientific-oriented approach. The method used is research and development (R D). The subjects were teachers and students of class IV, and the headmaster of the city of Yogyakarta, Sleman and Bantul. Purposive sample was taken based on the curriculum used in schools, namely curriculum 2013. Datacollection techniques using observation, interviews, documentary studies,literature, and the panel group discussion. The results showed that thecomponent prototype design study model developed consists of: (1) theme, (2) subtema, (3) learning objectives, (4) the subject matter of traditional games related to the theme and subthemes in accordance with the basic competencies and indicators , (5) learning activities that mengintegrasian traditional game nuanced thematic integrative, focused on the application of contextual, creative tasks, interactions participatory oriented scientific and active involvement, (6) media sources and diverse learning and contextual, and (7) the component assessment emphasizes the assessment process and results. Pengembangan Model Pembelajaran Tematik berbasis Permainan Tradisional dan Berorientasi Pendekatan Saintifik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan prototype model pembelajaran tematik berbasis permainan tradisional dan berorientasi scientific approach. Metodeyang digunakan adalah research and development (R D). Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas IV serta kepala sekolah dari Kota Yogyakarta, Kabupaten Sleman, dan Kabupaten Bantul. Sampel diambil secara purposive didasarkan pada kurikulum yang digunakan di sekolah, yaitu Kurikulum 2013. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, studi pustaka, dan panel group discussion. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komponen desain prototype model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan terdiri atas: (1) tema, (2) subtema, ( 3 ) tujuan pembelajaran, (4) materi pokok tentang permainan tradisional yang dikaitkan dengan tema dan subtema sesuai dengan kompetensi dasar dan indikator, (5) kegiatan pembelajaran yang mengintegrasian permainan tradisional bernuansa tematik integratif, difokuskan pada aplikasi kontekstual, tugas kreatif, interaksi partisipatif berorientasi saintifik, dan keterlibatan aktif, ( 6 ) sumber dan media pembelajaran yang beragam dan kontekstual, serta (7) komponen penilaian yang menekankan penilaian proses dan hasil.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mendeskripsikan  strategi penciptaan  komunitas  peduli dengan pendekatan komprehensif di sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian adalah analisis konten inferensial.  Prosedur  penelitian  yang  dilakukan  mencakupi  pengadaan  dan  reduksi  data. Sumber  data  berupa  empat artikel  jurnal yang  memiliki fokus penelitian  yang sama. Unit data  menggunakan unit fisik  dengan  sampel  unit  berupa  konteks  tentang  caring  classroom  sebagai  bentuk  implementasi  Child  Development  Project  (CDP)  yang  dipublikasikan  pada  tahun  1990-1996  dan  diakses  melalui  Google  Scholar.  Teknik  analisis  data  dilakukan  secara  kualitatif  menggunakan  peta  kognitif,  yaitu  mencari  kesesuaian pemikiran penulis artikel jurnal tentang strategi penciptaan komunitas peduli pada tahun  tersebut dengan realitas saat sekarang. Semua data diringkas, dipahami, diinterpretasikan, diinferensikan, dan ditemukan pola hubungan dengan situasi terkini tentang fenomena kepedulian siswa SD.  Penelitian ini menggunakan validitas semantis dan reliabilitas stabilitas (konsistensi). Konstruk analitis dibangun menggunakan teori kognitif dan afektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunitas peduli di sekolah  dasar  diciptakan menggunakan beberapa strategi, yaitu: (1) menciptakan hubungan asuh yang peduli; (2) mengajarkan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan; (3) menghormati motivasi intrinsik, dan (4) mengajarkan untuk memahami. Strategi tersebut dapat berjalan efektif dengan melibatkan  peran dan tanggung jawab administrator, guru, konselor, orang tua, dan masyarakat secara komprehensif.  CREATION STRATEGY OF CARING COMMUNITIES USING COMPREHENSIVE  APPROACH IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS  This study aims to describe the strategy of creating caring communities with a comprehensive  approach  in  elementary  school.  The  type  of  this  research  was  inferential  content  analysis.  The  research  procedures carried out include the procurement and reduction of data. The data sources were four journal  articles that have the same research focus. The data unit used physical units with a sample unit in the form  of context about caring classroom as a form of implementation of the Child Development Project (CDP)  which was published in 1990-1996 and accessed through Google Scholar. The data analysis technique was  carried out qualitatively using a cognitive map, which seeks to match the thinking of journal articles writers  about the strategy of creating caring communities in that year with current realities. namely looking for the  suitability  of  the  thoughts  of  the  authors  of  journal  articles  about  the  strategy  of  creating  a  caring  community  in that year  with the  current reality.  All data were summarized, understood, interpreted,  referenced,  and  found  patterns  of  relationships  with  the  current  situation  regarding  elementary  school  students'  concern  phenomena.  This  study  used  semantic  validity  and  stability  reliability  (consistency).  Analytical  constructs  were  built  using  cognitive  and  affective  theory.  The  results  show  that  the  caring  community in primary school was created using the following strategies: (1) creating the caring nurturing  relationships; (2) teaching human values; (3) respecting intrinsic motivation; and (4) teaching to understand.  The  strategy  can  be  effectively  by  involving  the  roles  and  responsibilities  of  administrators,  teachers,  counselors, parents, and the community comprehensively.

Abstract

This research was intended to develop graded readers (graded reading books) in the Javanese language for elementary school students. To develop the products, this work usedthe R&D model by Borg and Gall, in which the main procedure was composed of product analysis, product development, expert validation, trials, and product revision. The subjects of this research were the elementary school students and the teachers of Bantul Regency, Sleman Regency, the City of Yogyakarta; experts in the Javanese language;experts in teaching and learning; and experts inteaching and learning media.  The sample respondents were obtained through purposive sampling and the data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.  The products were validated by experts in learning contents, experts in teaching and learning, and experts in teaching and learning media. The result shows that they rated the products very good. The results of questionnaires distributed amongthe teachers and students show that these products carry positive impact on student learning.It can be concluded that the graded reading books are highly recommended for learning activitiesin elementary schools that offer Javanese.

Abstract

This study aims at determining the effect of traditional games-based and scientific approach-oriented thematic learning model toward creative thinking ability. The population of the study was all of the fourth-grade students of the elementary school in Gugus Mergangsan which amounted to 265 children. The sample of the research were the elementary students coming from 2 different schools, but have the same criteria, ie the characteristics of students were relatively homogeneous, the whole school has been used the Curriculum 2013, the similarity of available facilities, both private and public status. The sampling technique was done by cluster random sampling. Technique of collecting data using observation sheet and test. Data were analyzed using t test. The results show that the significance value of independent test t count is 0.004 t table 0.05. Therefore, the post-test score as a result of the learning in the experimental class has a significant difference compared to the control class. Thus it can be concluded that traditional games-based and scientific approach-oriented thematic learning model proved to significantly contribute to improving students' creative thinking ability.Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Tematik Berbasis Permainan Tradisional dan Scientific Approach Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir KreatifAbstrak:  Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui  pengaruh  model  pembelajaran  tematik  berbasis permainan tradisional dan berorientasi scientific approach terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SD.  Populasi  penelitian  adalah  seluruh  siswa  kelas  IV  sekolah  dasar  di  Gugus  Mergangsan  yang berjumlah 265 anak. Sampel penelitiannya adalah siswa SD yang berasal dari 2 sekolah yang berbeda, tetapi  memiliki  kesamaan  kriteria,  yaitu  karakteristik  siswa  relatif  homogen,  keseluruhan  sekolah telah menggunakan Kurikulum 2013, kesamaan fasilitas yang tersedia, baik berstatus swasta maupun negeri. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data  menggunakan  lembar  observasi  keterlaksanaan  model  dan  tes.  Data  dianalisis  menggunakan ttest.  Hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan  bahwa  nilai  signifikansi  uji  independen  tttest  diperoleh  thitung sebesar  0.004ttabel  0.05.  Oleh  karena  itu,  nilai  post-test  sebagai  hasil  dari  pembelajaran  di  kelas eksperimen memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran tematik berbasis permainan tradisional dan berorientasi scientific  approach  terbukti  secara  signifikan  memiliki  kontribusi  terhadap  peningkatan  kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa.Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran tematik, permainan tradisional, scientific approach, kemampuan berpikir kreatif

Abstract

EVALUASI PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK DI SEKOLAH DASARAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan pelaksanaan program pembelajaran tematik ditinjau dari komponen contexts, input, process, dan product (CIPP). Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan studi ex-post facto.Sampel penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa kelas III pada Gugus Pakualaman I di Kota Yogyakarta. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan menggunakan angket, lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Data kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama, pemahaman kepala sekolah terhadap visi dan tujuan pembelajaran tematik sudah sesuai dengan karakteristik dan hakikat pembelajaran tematik yang tertuang dalam dokumen Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan. Kedua, hasil evaluasi input menunjukkan 90% guru sudah memenuhi kualifikasi S1. Kompetensi pedagogik dan kepribadian mendapat nilai rerata baik, kompetensi profesional dan sosial mendapat nilai rerata cukup. Sarana dan prasarana penunjang pembelajaran secara kuantitatif belum memenuhi standar, dan secara kualitatif penggunaannya belum maksimal. Ketiga, hasil evaluasi komponen proses berada pada kriteria cukup. Keempat, produk belajar siswa mendapat penilaian rerata cukup.Kata kunci: evaluasi, pembelajaran tematik, sekolah dasarAbstractThis study was aimed at describing the effectiveness of thematic learning programs in terms of context, input, process, and product components (CIPP). The study used an ex-post facto research design. The subjects of the study were the principal, teacher, and third-grade students of Pakualaman IElementary School, Yogyakarta. The data were collected using questionnaires, observation sheets, interview guides, and documentary studies. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results show that first, the school principal's understanding of the visions and objectives of thematic learning is in accordance with the characteristics and the nature of thematic learning contained in the KTSP document. Second, the results of the input evaluation show that 90% of the teachers have met the S1 qualification. Pedagogic and personality competency scores are rated as good, while professional and social competences are rated as fairly. The quantity of the learning facilities and infrastructure as learning aids have not met the standards. Learning aids have not been maximally used. Third, the evaluation results of the process are in the sufficient criteria. Fourth, the students’ learning products are average in rating.Keywords: evaluation, thematic learning, primary school

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan menguji keefektifan metode permainan untuk meningkatkanhasil belajar pendidikan nilai dan hasil belajar keterampilan yang terintegrasi dalampembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode praeksperimental dengan one group pre test-post design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa: (1) implementasi metode permainan dalam pembelajaran IPS dilakukan dengancara bermain TTS, picture and picture, wordsquare, dan scramble, (2) hasil belajar pendidikannilai (kejujuran, kesabaran, dan ketaatan beribadah) dengan menggunakan metodepermainan untuk kategori sedang 4 orang (13,7%), tinggi 21 orang (73%), dan sangattinggi 3 orang (10,2%), (2) hasil belajar keterampilan sosial kelompok (tanggung jawab,kerjasama, dan toleransi) dengan menggunakan metode permainan dengan kategoritinggi sebanyak 15 orang (53,6%) dan sangat tinggi 13 orang (43%).Kata kunci: metode permainan, pendidikan nilai, keterampilan

any preservation from their community. Slowly but sure, the process will be pass through the extinction. One way to guard against globalization is using the utilization of local culture potentials in learning process on school. Social studies which hands on as a significant lesson to improve culture, hopefully could use local culture potentials as well as possible. Social studies in elementary school should develop all capability of students, especially how to keep up with society around they live. Because of that, there are necessary to prepare and have many teachers who possess sufficient comprehension about local culture, besides their responsibility in material lesson.

Abstract

Secara konsepsional, mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di SD dekat dengan lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran IPS SD seharusnya memanfaatkan secara optimal potensi lingkungan agar lebih bermakna. Kenyataannya, hal ini belum dilakukan sebagian besar guru. Pembelajaran IPS SD cenderung tidak kontekstual. Potensi lingkungan setempat, khususnya budaya lokal, belum dimanfaatkan guru secara optimal dalam proses pembelajaran. Pembelajaran tetap mengutamakan pengembangan aspek intelektual dengan buku teks pegangan guru menjadi sumber belajar utama. Beberapa kesimpulan hasil penelitian menunjukkan hal ini, antara lain Pargito di Lampung (2000: 112), Samion di Kalimantan Barat (2002: 25), serta Sasongko (2004:3) maupun Sapri (2000: 16) di Bengkulu. Hal ini mengakibatkan siswa kurang mengapresiasi budayanya.
