Abstract

This study aims to find out the differences in self-regulated learning in Indonesian students who study abroad and Indonesian students who study in the country. Researchers use comparative research with quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were Indonesian students who studied abroad and Indonesian students who studied in the country with a sample of 114 people, 57 Indonesian students who studied abroad and 57 Indonesian students who studied abroad. Sampling is determined by non-probability sampling. In data collection, researchers use a likert-based scale consisting of a learning regulatory scale. Data analysis method used in this study using T-test analysis of two free samples (Independent Sample T-Test) using computer program SPSS version 21.0. The results of the study with a 95% confidence level showed that there is no difference in learning regulation between Indonesian students studying abroad and Indonesian students studying in the country with a coefficient of difference in independent sample t-test of 0.162 with p > 0.05.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan regulasi belajar pada mahasiswa Indonesia yang berkuliah di luar negeri dan mahasiswa Indonesia yang berkuliah di dalam negeri. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian komparasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Indonesia yang berkuliah di luar negeri dan mahasiswa Indonesia yang berkuliah di dalam negeri dengan jumlah sampel 114 orang, masing-masing 57 mahasiswa Indonesia yang berkuliah di luar negeri dan 57 mahasiswa Indonesia yang berkuliah di dalam negeri. Pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan non-probability sampling. Dalam pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan skala berbasis skala likert yang terdiri dari skala regulasi belajar. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis uji-T dua sampel bebas (Independent Sample T-Test) dengan menggunakan computer program SPSS versi 21.0. Hasil dari penelitian dengan taraf kepercayaan 95% menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan regulasi belajar antara mahasiswa Indonesia yang berkuliah di luar negeri dengan mahasiswa Indonesia yang berkuliah di dalam negeri dengan koefisien perbedaan independent sample t-test sebesar 0,162 dengan p > 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of time management and moral emotions on plagiarism behavior. The subjects of this study were 74 students of Mulawarman University. Subjects were selected using purposive sampling techniques. The data collection methods used are the time management scale, the moral emotions scale and plagiarism scale. The collected data were analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis assays. These results show that there is an influence between time management and moral emotions on plagiarism in FISIPOL students of Mulawarman University. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh manajemen waktu dan emosi moral terhadap perilaku plagiarisme. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 74 mahasiswa Universitas Mulawarman. Subjek dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala manajemen waktu, skala emosi moral dan skala plagiarisme. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan uji analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara manajemen waktu dan emosi moral terhadap perilaku plagiarisme pada mahasiswa FISIPOL Universitas Mulawarman.

Abstract

Student athlete in a dormitory is certainly a challenge because they are must to balance academic achievements and non-academic. These all challenges and demands become stressors that lead to burnout in pencak silat athletes, for that hardiness is needed to overcome the burnout. The purpose of this study is to see how hardiness describes pencak silat athletes who experience burnout. The subjects of this study were pencak silat athletes from SKOI East Kalimantan experiencing burnout. In data collection methods, researchers used in-depth interviews and observation data collection techniques. The toughness possessed by student pencak silat athletes is illustrated by their responsibility to complete a heavy training program, being able to overcome pressure in competing, viewing defeat as an opportunity to develop, being able to follow the rules and regulations in SKOI East Kalimantan. This is driven by the mastery of experience as a student martial arts athlete and the support of parents. This research can be used as evaluation for development of student martial arts athletes, especially those in the dormitory.Atlet pelajar yang berada di asrama tentu memiliki tantangan tersendiri karena dituntut untuk dapat menyeimbangkan prestasi akademik dan non akademik. Tantangan ini seringkali menjadi stresor yang mengakibatkan terjadinya burnout pada atlet pencak silat, untuk itu dibutuhkan ketangguhan untuk mengatasi burnout. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat bagaimana gambaran ketangguhan pada atlet pencak silat yang mengalami burnout. Subjek penelitian ini adalah atlet pencak silat SKOI Kaltim yang mengalami burnout. Pada metode pengambilan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik pengambilan data wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Ketangguhan yang dimiliki oleh atlet pencak silat pelajar digambarkan dengan adanya tanggung jawab untuk menyelesaikan program berat latihan, mampu mengatasi tekanan dalam bertanding, memandang kekalahan sebagai peluang untuk berkembang, mampu mengikuti aturan dan ketentuan yang ada di SKOI Kaltim. Hal ini didorong oleh adanya penguasaan pengalaman sebagai atlet pencak silat pelajar dan adanya dukungan dari orang tua. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan evaluasi bagi pengembangan atlet pencak silat pelajar khususnya yang berada di asrama.

Abstract

In recent years, the influence of celebrities on brand advertising is very promising. Undoubtedly, celebrity endorsements increase a company's brand awareness through endorsements. This study aims to determine the influence of celebrity endorsement and brand attitude on buying interest in adolescents. This study used a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study amounted to 100 students at SMA X Sangatta Utara who were selected by purposive sampling techniques. The data collection methods used were the scale of purchase intent, celebrity endorsements, and brand attitudes. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The collected data was analyzed with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) program version 21.0 for windows. The results of this study showed that there was a significant influence between celebrity endorsement and brand attitude towards buying interest (F = 39.0 16; p = 0.000; R2 = 37.5%). There was no significant effect between celebrity endorsements on buying interest (β = 0.070; t = 1.978; p = 0.544). There was a significant influence between brand attitudes toward purchase intent (β = 0.556; t = 4.859; p = 0.000).

Subjek penelitian ini adalah 106 mahasiswa Fakultas Perikanan dan Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Mulawarman yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan berpikir positif dan kepercayaan diri terhadap kualitas hidup dengan nilai F hitung = 83.529 > F tabel = 3,09 dan nilai p = 0.000 serta memiliki kontribusi pengaruh (R2) sebesar 61.9%; (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan berpikir positif terhadap kualitas hidup dengan nilai koefisien beta (β) = 0.697, t hitung = 6.854 > t tabel = 1.983, dan nilai p = 0.000 (p < 0.05); (3) tidak terdapat pengaruh kepercayaan diri terhadap kualitas hidup dengan nilai koefisien beta (β) = 0.109, t hitung = 1.069 < t tabel 1.983, dan nilai p = 0.288 (p > 0.05).

Abstract

The high dropout rate suggests that students' well-being is in doubt, especially in relation to their subjective well-being. This study aims to investigate the impact of perceived social support and academic stress on subjective well-being. This research method uses a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were 83 students of Faculty Pharmacy X University who were selected by simple random sampling technique. The data collection method used was the subjective well-being scale, social support, and academic stress. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression.  The results showed that: (1) there is an influence of social support and academic stress on subjective well-being with the value of F count = 9.367 > F table = 3.11 and p value = 0.000 and has an influence contribution (R2) of 18.6%; (2) there is no significant influence of social support on subjective well-being with a beta coefficient value (β) = 0. 141, t count = 1.284 < t table = 1.989, and p value 0.202 (p > 0.05); (3) there is a positive and significant effect of academic stress on subjective well-being with a beta coefficient value (β) = 0.353, t count = 3.202 > t table = 1.989, and p value 0.002 (p < 0.05). The conclusion in this study is that there is a significant influence between social support and academic stress on students' subjective well-being.

Abstract

Meningkatnya penggunaan media sosial dikalangan masyarakat tanpa adanya kontrol diri dapat berpotensi memicu perilaku pembelian impulsif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh intensitas penggunaan media sosial dan kontrol diri terhadap pembelian impulsif pada mahasiswa FEB Universitas Mulawarman. Subjek penelitian adalah 76 mahasiswa FEB Universitas Mulawarman yang dipilih secara acak. Data dikumpulkan melalui skala pembelian impulsif, intensitas penggunaan media sosial, dan kontrol diri, lalu dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh intensitas penggunaan media sosial dan kontrol diri terhadap pembelian impulsif dengan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 22.8%. artinya penggunaan media sosial yang lebih aktif cenderung melakukan pembelian impulsif. Sebaliknya, kontrol diri tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pembelian impulsif. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya kesadaran pengguna akan dampak pembelian impulsif, terutama dikalangan pengguna aktif, edukasi mengenai pengelolaan perilaku belanja juga di perlukan agar konsumen dapat membuat keputusan yang lebih bijak. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Impostor Syndrome tendency and academic resilience on academic anxiety. The research method used is quantitative. The subjects of this study are 55 undergraduate students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Mulawarman University, Samarinda who are pursuing strata 1 with purposive sampling data collection techniques. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The collected data was analyzed with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 26.0 for windows program. The results showed that (1) there was a significant influence of Impostor Syndrome and academic resilience on academic anxiety with a value of F Count = 16.133 F Table = 3.18 and p = 0.000 0.05 and an influence contribution of 38.3%; (2) there was no significant effect of Impostor Syndrome on academic anxiety with a value of beta coefficient (β) = 0.162, t count = 1.152, and p = 0.225 (p 0.05); (3) There was a significant effect of academic resilience on academic anxiety with a value of beta coefficient (β) = -0.503, t count = 3.564, and p = 0.002 (p 0.05).

Abstract

Academic life serves as a process for students to develop their abilities; however, in reality, not all students can optimize their potential. This is often related to internal factors such as emotions, feelings, and perceptions. This study aims to examine the influence of impostor syndrome tendencies and academic hardiness on academic anxiety. The research method employed is quantitative. The subjects of this study were 205 students from Mulawarman University in Samarinda, selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using scales measuring academic anxiety, impostor syndrome, and academic hardiness. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression, with data analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 26.0 for Windows. The results of the study indicate that (1) there is a significant influence of impostor syndrome and academic resilience on academic anxiety, with an F-value of 43.279 > F-table of 3.23 and p = 0.000 < 0.05, contributing 30% of the variance; (2) there is a significant positive influence of impostor syndrome on academic anxiety, with a beta coefficient (β) = 0.459, t-value = 7.186, and p = 0.000 (p < 0.05); and (3) there is a significant negative influence of academic hardiness on academic anxiety, with a beta coefficient (β) = -0.171, t-value = -2.676, and p = 0.008 (p < 0.05).a coefficient beta (β) value of 0.363, t value = 2.407, and p = 0.021 (p < 0.05); (3) there is a significant negative influence of academic hardiness on academic anxiety with a coefficient beta (β) value of -0.472, t value = -3.127, and p = 0.003 (p < 0.05). The study finds that impostor syndrome and academic hardiness significantly influence academic anxiety, with impostor syndrome showing a positive impact and academic hardiness showing a negative impact.
