Abstract

Pada era industri 4.0 seperti saat ini, mayoritas perusahaan cenderung merekrut karyawan yang sudah memiliki pendidikan dan keterampilan yang memadai. Oleh sebab itu, sangat penting bagi lulusan terdidik untuk memiliki kesiapan kerja yang kuat, karena hal ini dapat meningkatkan peluang mereka untuk diterima di perusahaan atau organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepribadian proaktif dan modal psikologis terhadap kesiapan kerja pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan subjek 56 siswa dari SMK Negeri X yang dipilih melalui teknik probability sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tiga skala tipe Likert, yaitu skala kesiapan kerja, skala kepribadian proaktif, dan skala modal psikologis. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepribadian proaktif dan modal psikologis secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja (F=41.934, R²=0.613, p= 0.000). Namun, secara terpisah, kepribadian proaktif tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja (β=0.185, t=1.122, p=0.267), yang mengindikasikan bahwa kepribadian ini mungkin membutuhkan dukungan eksternal tambahan untuk memberikan dampak terhadap kesiapan kerja. Sebaliknya, modal psikologis ditemukan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja (β=0.618, t=3.741, p=0.000) sehingga mengindikasikan bahwa modal psikologis memainkan peran krusial dalam mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi dunia kerja. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa institusi pendidikan perlu memberikan perhatian lebih pada pengembangan modal psikologis untuk meningkatkan kesiapan kerja siswa. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan melibatkan sampel yang lebih besar dan variabel tambahan untuk memperluas pemahaman terkait faktor-faktor kesiapan kerja.

Abstract

This study examines the role of self-determination in relation to the emotional well-being of high school students attending full-day schools in Samarinda City. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed. Data were collected using self-determination and emotional well-being scales. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The senior high schools that implemented the full-day school system in each sub-district in Samarinda City were grouped and allocated proportionally into eight representative schools, resulting in 359 student respondents. The results indicated a strong and significant relationship between self-determination and emotional well-being among high school students attending full-day schools in Samarinda City, as reflected by a correlation coefficient of r = 0.613. The role of self-determination contributed 37.6% to the score in emotional well-being. These findings suggest the need for further research to explore other factors influencing emotional well-being in full-day school students. Furthermore, schools are encouraged to implement programs that enhance student self-determination to support emotional well-being.

Abstract

Terjalinnya pertemanan yang berkualitas akan membantu individu untuk memiliki kebahagiaan dan dukungan dari orang lain, serta tidak mengisolasi diri selama di fase quarter life crisis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kualitas pertemanan dengan kebahagiaan pada dewasa awal yang mengalami quarter life crisis. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dan skrining untuk menyesuaikan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan peneliti sehingga sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 209 partisipan. Adapun alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala kualitas pertemanan dan kebahagiaan. Hasil uji validitas skala kebahagiaan tidak ada item yang gugur, namun skala kualitas pertemanan memiliki satu item yang gugur. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji korelasi Kendall’s Tau yang menghasilkan 0.378 r tabel 0.114 dan nilai sig 0.000 (p 0.05) yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara kualitas pertemanan dengan kebahagiaan pada dewasa awal yang mengalami quarter life crisis dengan arah positif. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang telah dilakukan terlihat bahwa semakin tinggi kualitas pertemanan pada dewasa awal yang mengalami quarter life crisis maka semakin tinggi kebahagiaan individu tersebut, dan sebaliknya.

Abstract

The alpha generation is the generation born from 2010 to 2025 and grew up in an environment that is very close to digital technology. Over time, gadgets have become an integral part of their lives. However, the high intensity of gadget use in the alpha generation raises concerns about the tendency to gadget addiction. One factor that plays a role in increasing the tendency of gadget addiction is parenting, especially permissive parenting. This parenting style is characterized by a lack of supervision, boundaries, and control over children's behavior, including the use of technology. This study aims to determine the relationship between permissive parenting and the tendency to gadget addiction in alpha generation teenagers. This research method uses a quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were 119 alpha generation teenagers who were selected by using purposive sampling. The data collection method used was the Gadget Addiction Tendency Scale and permissive parenting. The data analysis technique used was correlation. The collected data were processed with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) program. The results showed that there was a correlation between permissive parenting and the tendency of gadget addiction in the alpha generation of adolescent age, with a value of p = 0.046 (p < 0.05). ABSTRAK Generasi alpha merupakan generasi yang lahir dari tahun 2010 hingga 2025 dan tumbuh dalam lingkungan yang sangat dekat dengan teknologi digital. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, gadget menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari kehidupan mereka. Namun, intensitas penggunaan gadget yang tinggi pada  generasi alpha menimbulkan kekhawatiran terhadap kecenderungan adiksi gadget. Salah satu faktor yang berperan dalam meningkatkan kecenderungan adiksi gadget adalah pola asuh orang tua, khususnya pola asuh permisif. Pola asuh ini ditandai dengan kurangnya pengawasan, batasan, dan kontrol terhadap perilaku anak, termasuk dalam hal penggunaan teknologi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh permisif dengan kecenderungan adiksi gadget pada generasi alpha usia remaja. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 119 generasi alpha usia remaja yang dipilih dengan menggunaakan purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala kecenderungan adiksi gadget dan  pola asuh permisif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi. Data yaang terkumpul diolah dengan bantuan program Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pola asuh permisif dengan kecenderungan adiksi gadget pada generasi alpha usia remaja dengan nilai p = 0.046 (p < 0.05).

Abstract

Early adults undergoing their developmental tasks have the potential to experience a quarter-life crisis as a life challenge that brings about several negative impacts. These problems can be overcome if early adults have happiness in their lives. Happiness can be increased by instilling self-esteem obtained from within themselves and those around them. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and happiness in early adults experiencing a quarter-life crisis . This study uses a quantitative approach method. The sample of this study was 209 early adults experiencing a quarter-life crisis determined through a purposive sampling technique . The measuring instrument used in this study was a Likert -type scale , namely the happiness scale and the self-esteem scale. The happiness scale consists of 14 valid items with a reliability value of 0.712 and the self-esteem scale consists of 27 valid items worth 0.848 obtained through a reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha so that both scales can be declared reliable . The happiness scale and the self-esteem scale are declared normal with p-values of 0.065 and 0.200, respectively. The data analysis technique for this study uses the Pearson product moment correlation test . The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between self-esteem and happiness in early adults experiencing a quarter-life crisis with a calculated r value of 0.0574 > r table 0.114 and a sig value of 0.000 (p < 0.05).

Abstract

Young adults need social support to achieve happiness and prevent self-isolation during the quarter-life crisis phase. This study examines the relationship between social support and happiness in young adults experiencing a quarter-life crisis using a quantitative approach. The sample, consisting of 209 participants, was selected through purposive sampling and screening methods that met specific criteria. The research utilized a happiness scale and a social support scale, with validity tests confirming that no items were excluded. Data analysis using Kendall’s Tau correlation test resulted in 0.359 > r-table 0.114 and a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a positive relationship between friendship quality and happiness in young adults facing a quarter-life crisis. These findings suggest that higher social support correlates with greater happiness, whereas lower social support corresponds to lower happiness levels.

Abstract

The phenomenon of catcalling is something that can be experienced by almost most individuals in their lives, with women being most victims. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and self-concept in female victims of catcalling, a case study of late adolescence in Samarinda City. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 102 late adolescents who had experienced catcalling and were selected based on purposive sampling techniques. The data collection method used a scale of self-concept and self-esteem with reliability values of 0.852 and 0.863. The data analysis technique used was Pearson product moment correlation analysis. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between self-esteem and self-concept in female victims of catcalling with a calculated r value = 0.540> r table 0.192 and a p value = 0.000 (p <0.050). This means that the more positive the self-concept of female victims of catcalling, the better the self-esteem they will develop towards themselves. The implications of this research are the basis for developing public policies that support education and awareness regarding the negative impacts of catcalling.Fenomena catcalling merupakan suatu yang dapat dialami oleh hampir sebagian besar individu di dalam kehidupannya, dengan wanita adalah sebagian besar dari korbannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan harga diri dengan konsep diri pada wanita korban catcalling studi kasus pada remaja akhir di Kota Samarinda. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 102 remaja akhir yang pernah mengalami catcalling dan dipilih berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala konsep diri dan harga diri dengan nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0.852 dan 0.863. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara harga diri dengan konsep diri pada wanita korban catcalling dengan nilai r hitung = 0.540 > r tabel 0.192 dan nilai p = 0.000 (p < 0.050). Artinya semakin positif konsep diri yang ada pada wanita korban catcalling maka semakin baik harga diri yang akan mereka kembangkan terhadap dirinya sendiri. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah landasan bagi pengembangan kebijakan publik yang mendukung edukasi dan kesadaran mengenai dampak negatif catcalling.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the description of trust in married convicts. Researchers will reveal how the sense of trust arises from within a married convict. This will be revealed in several aspects of trust which consist of several aspects. Research subjects amounted to 4 people. The method used is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques used structured interview methods and direct observation by researchers in analyzing data. The validity of the data was demonstrated by source triangulation techniques, observer persistence, and discussions with colleagues. Data analysis carried out was data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification with communicative validity. The results of this study indicate that the four subjects have different levels of trust in their wives, which means that not all married convicts have trust in their wives, where this occurs because the marriage process undertaken by each subject does not directly play an active role in their married life because the four subjects who were in prison. The wife's emotional closeness to the four subjects also influences how influential the subject's self-confidence is to continue fighting with enthusiasm and not give up in living life, especially in serving time in prison. There are several factors that influence trust in the four subjects, namely personality predisposition, reputation and stereotypes, actual experience, psychological orientation and dynamics of trust.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kepercayaan pada narapidana yang sudah menikah. Peneliti akan mengungkap bagaimana rasa kepercayaan yang muncul dari dalam diri seorang narapidana yang sudah menikah. Hal tersebut akan diungkap dalam beberapa aspek kepercayaan yang terdiri beberapa aspek. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 4 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara terstruktur dan observasi secara langsung yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dalam mengali data. Keabsahan data ditunjukkan dengan teknik triangulasi sumber, ketekunan pengamat, dan diskusi dengan rekan sejawat. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi dengan validitas komunikatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahwa dari keempat subjek memiliki tingkat kepercayaan yang berbeda terhadap istrinya yang berarti tak semua narapidana yang sudah menikah memiliki kepercayaan terhadap istrinya yang dimana hal tersebut terjadi karena proses pernikahan yang dijalani oleh setiap subjek tidak langsung berperan aktif didalam kehidupan pernikahannya dikarenakan keempat subjek yang sedang berada di Lapas. Kedekatan emosional istri dengan keempat subjek juga memengaruhi seberapa berpengaruhnya kepercayaan diri subjek untuk terus berjuang dengan semangat dan tidak putus asa dalam menjalani kehidupan, terutama dalam menjalani masa hukuman. Adapun beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kepercayaan pada keempat subjek yaitu presdiposisi kepribadian, reputasi dan stereotype, pengalaman aktual, orientasi psikologis dan dinamika kepercayaan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adaptibility and academic self-efficacy on academic buoyancy in students of the Faculty of Economics, University of X Samarinda. This research method using quantitative methods. The subjects of this study were 103 students of the Faculty of Economics, University of X Samarinda who were selected through simple random sampling technique. Data collection methods used are adaptibility scale, academic self-efficacy and academic buoyancy. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The collected data were analyzed with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) program version 26 for windows. The results of the study show that: (1) there is a significant effect of self-adjustment and academic self-efficacy on academic buoyancy with a calculated F value = 149,428 > F table 3.09 and p value = 0.000 and has an R2 influence contribution of 74.9%; (2) there is a significant effect of self-adjustment on academic buoyancy with a coefficient of beta (β) = 0.269, t count = 2.600 > t table 1.984 and p = 0.011 (p > 0.05); (3) there is a significant effect of academic self-efficacy on academic buoyancy with a coefficient of beta (β) = 0.621, t count = 6.001 > t table and p = 0.000 (p < 0.05).
