Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya pengabdian masyarakat ini sebagai upaya mitigasi bencana banjir di Kota Bandar Lampung dengan memanfaatkan teknologi sederhana berupa pembuatan Lubang Resapan Biopori (LRB). Melalui pembuatan LRB ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan   masyarakat dalam mengurangi resiko terjadinya bencana banjir. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan dalam pengabdian ini berupa sosialisasi kepada masyarakat terkait pemanfaatan LRB dalam mencegah bencana banjir. Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret 2024 di Kelurahan Gedong Air Kota Bandar Lampung. Luaran dari program ini yaitu menjadikan masyarakat mengerti akan manfaat yang didapat dari pembuatan LRB, selain itu menjadikan masyarakat mengerti bagaimana upaya mitigasi bencana banjir tidak hanya sekedar teoritis, memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan sebagai lokasi LRB. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap bencana banjir mengalami peningkatan dari sebelumnya, namun dalam implementasi kegiatan mitigasi bencana banjir, masyarakat perlu pendampingan agar berperan aktif dalam mitigasi banjir.

Abstract

Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) merupakan pendekatan yang bertujuan mendorong perubahan perilaku individu, keluarga, dan masyarakat agar lebih sadar akan pentingnya kebersihan serta kesehatan. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat oleh dosen dan mahasiswa Universitas Sang Bumi Ruwa Jurai di Desa Sumber Jaya berfokus pada edukasi PHBS dan program Stop Buang Air Besar Sembarangan (SBS) sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting sejak masa kehamilan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui metode edukatif, sosialisasi, serta pemberdayaan masyarakat yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif kader kesehatan dan tokoh masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai kebersihan lingkungan, pemenuhan gizi ibu hamil, serta partisipasi dalam pelayanan kesehatan seperti imunisasi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi contoh pendekatan berkelanjutan dalam upaya mewujudkan masyarakat yang lebih sehat dan menurunkan angka stunting di wilayah pedesaan.

Abstract

T-beam girders are primary load-bearing elements in short- to medium-span reinforced concrete bridges, requiring accurate assessment of flexural and shear capacities to satisfy ultimate limit state criteria. This study evaluates the structural performance of a 12 m span reinforced concrete T-beam bridge through deterministic analysis in accordance with SNI 2847:2019 and load provisions specified in SNI 1725:2016. Unlike studies relying on numerical simulation or simplified checks, this research employs a code-consistent analytical comparison of demand and capacity to verify structural adequacy under the governing load combinations. Ultimate bending moments (Mu) and shear forces (Vu) were calculated based on bridge geometry, material properties, and reinforcement detailing, and subsequently compared with factored flexural (ϕMn) and shear (ϕVn) capacities. The results indicate that the maximum Mu of 1,775.93 kNm and Vu of 623.76 kN remain below their respective capacities, with ϕMn equal to 1,795.93 kNm and ϕVn exceeding Vu. These findings confirm that the T-beam girder satisfies ultimate limit state requirements and demonstrate the effectiveness of deterministic code-based evaluation for bridge safety verification.

Abstract

The construction of multi-story buildings requires structural designs that ensure safety, strength, and adequate structural performance under various loading conditions. This study aimed to analyze and design reinforced concrete beam elements in a seven-story building using structural analysis software. The object of the study was the Civil Engineering Department building of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Lampung. Structural analysis was carried out through three-dimensional modeling to evaluate the structural response under load combinations consisting of dead loads, live loads, wind loads, and earthquake loads. The analysis produced internal force responses, including bending moments, shear forces, and torsional forces acting on the beam elements. These results were used to determine appropriate beam dimensions and reinforcement requirements in order to satisfy structural strength and stability criteria. The findings indicated that the designed beam dimensions and reinforcement configurations were capable of resisting the applied load combinations with structural deformations remaining within acceptable limits. Furthermore, the evaluation of structural capacity confirmed that the beam design satisfied the required safety and performance criteria. Therefore, the reinforced concrete beam design for the seven-story building was considered structurally safe and suitable for implementation in multi-story building structural planning.
