Abstract

Rice blast disease is devastating rice disease that can cause high yield loss. Therefore, it is necessary to control its distribution. This study aimed to develop a web-based system to predict the potential probability of blast disease occurrence by combining weather variable and cultural practices factor. ANN method was used to analyze the influence of weather variables on the occurrence of blast disease and to analyze the influence of cultural practices on the occurrence of blast disease executed by decision tree method. Results of this research indicate that proper cultural practices may inhibit the development of blast disease although weather variables support the development of the disease. As conclusion, a web-based  system has been developed and can be used to predict the potential probability of blast occurrence. This system can also be used as an early warning system so that users can prevent the occurrence of blast disease.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 nan Sabaris memiliki beasiswa berprestasi yang diberikan kepada siswa berprestasi dan kurang mampu. Untuk menentukan siswa yang berhak menerima beasiswa, sekolah negeri 1 nan Sabaris menggunakan cara manual, sehingga dibutuhkan waktu dan hasil yang tidak akurat dan tidak pada target. Para peneliti bertujuan untuk membangun sistem pendukung keputusan untuk membantu petugas dan sekolah dalam memilih siswa yang memenuhi syarat untuk menerima beasiswa berdasarkan kriteria penerimaan beasiswa mereka di SMA Negeri 1 nan Sabaris. Metode yang diterapkan dalam sistem pendukung keputusan untuk diskusi ini menggunakan metode Weighted Product (WP) yang menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java dan database MySQL sebagai database. Dalam merancang sistem pengambilan keputusan pencapaian beasiswa yang luar biasa, para penulis menggunakan konsep System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) seperti analisa masalah, desain sistem, program penulisan kode, program pengujian implementasi dan Pemeliharaan. Dalam menguji sistem pendukung keputusan dibangun menggunakan tes Black Box. Dari hasil uji coba dinyatakan bahwa sistem pendukung keputusan mampu memberikan kepada siswa rekomendasi pencapaian pengetahuan akademis yang beredar sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditetapkan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terciptanya sistem yang dapat membantu SMA Negeri 1 nan Sabaris dalam memberikan beasiswa yang luar biasa sesuai dengan data mahasiswa Penerima beasiswa.

Abstract

           The election of the Student Executive Board (PilkaBEM) is an inseparable part of the STKIP PGRI Campus Agenda in West Sumatra as a democratic campus. PilkaBEM still uses conventional voting, which uses paper media to vote on PilkaBEM. In implementing the conventional pilkaBEM voting system, it has many weaknesses.Current advances in information technology have brought huge changes to people, including ways to conduct voting. The use of computer technology in the conduct of voting is known as electronic voting or commonly referred to as e-voting. The research method used in this research is system development, which is an experiment to design e-voting applications using the PHP programming language, HTML tags and to use the MySQL database as a database server. E-votingapplications are developed using web-based.The e-voting application is in accordance with the AD / ART PilkaBEM and is in accordance with the PilkaBEM principle applicable at the STKIP PGRI West Sumatra campus. The e-voting application is built using the PHP programming language, and utilizes the MySQL database as a database server. Development of a more attractive appearance without reducing user convenience.

Abstract

The number of documents in the form of books, scientific articles, reports etc. is always increasing every day, this certainly makes it difficult for groups or types of documents to classify. Using the Naïve Bayes classifier, which is an approach that refers to the Bayes theorem, is a simple classification algorithm but has high accuracy. Naïve Bayes refers to previous knowledge which is strengthened in advance by processing the title text of a new document so that it can be used to facilitate the classification of new document classes. Based on the results of trials conducted using 125 training data on 10 test data in 5 class groups, the accuracy value is quite high, namely 90% correct classification.

Abstract

One of the course achievements in the Inovasi Pembelajaran Biologi course is that students are able to design a variety of biology learning innovations, especially those based on technology. However, in reality students still have not utilized technology to the fullest and there has not been clear innovation in the use of technology in the various innovations that students have designed. So this research aims to develop a web-based information system as a learning medium that will be used during the learning process and at the same time as a direct example of the application of the use of Information, Media and Technology Skills in learning innovation. This research is a development research that focuses more on software development. System development is carried out using an iterative model and beta testing. The results of this study are in the form of an information system called SINOPE with the results of beta testing for each indicator, namely: design 91.7%, menu 90%, content 83.3%, ease of use 93.3%, usability 91.7%, average subject responses research on SINOPE is 90% with a very good category.
