Abstract

Fertilizers are essential in modern agriculture as they supply vital nutrients to plants, enhancing growth and yield. However, selecting the most appropriate fertilizer involves multiple criteria and a diverse range of available options. This study conducts a comparative analysis of two Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) methods: the Weighted Sum Model (WSM) and the Weight Product (WP) method, supplemented by WSM-Score and vector-based approaches. The evaluation is based on four criteria price, quality, ease of availability, and fertilizer form across seven alternatives: Urea, Compost, TSP, KCL, Gandasil, NPK, and ZA. Using normalized weights from expert judgment, both methods were used to rank the alternatives. A key contribution of this study is the integration of WSM-Score and vector approaches, which enhance traditional MCDM by improving score comparability (WSM-Score) and enabling geometric interpretation of alternative positioning (vector). Results show that Compost (A2) ranks highest across all methods, indicating convergence despite differences in computational logic. WSM offers ease of interpretation, while WP better accounts for proportional differences but is more sensitive to low-performing criteria. The findings suggest that method selection should be context-dependent. Although the ranking results are consistent, the absence of empirical validation through expert comparison or field data limits the generalizability of the conclusions. Further research should include such validation to strengthen the reliability of MCDM-based decision support systems in agricultural applications.

Abstract

The integration of technology into library management plays a crucial role in improving operational efficiency and resource accessibility. This study presents the development of an SMS gateway-based library information system to digitalize book borrowing and returning processes. The system was developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, incorporating Requirement Planning, System Design, and Implementation phases. The implementation of the system was evaluated by using Black Box Testing to ensure functional correctness. The results indicate that the system effectively streamlines library operations by providing automated notifications for due dates, optimizing inventory tracking, and reducing manual record-keeping errors. Additionally, the integration of an SMS Gateway enhances user engagement and minimizes overdue returns. This study highlights the potential of digital solutions in modernizing library management and serves as a model for other educational institutions aiming to enhance their library systems through technology.

Abstract

At the Batam Enterprise Agency in the Public Relations, Promotion, and Protocol Bureau section, when borrowing rooms they still use manual processes, and paper forms in the borrowing process, which results in less effective record keeping. So the author created a room lending dashboard information system. The aim of this research is to design a meeting room lending dashboard information system. The method used in this research is Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) which has stages of analysis, design, implementation, and experimentation, while system design uses Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling, system flow diagrams consisting of (use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagram and class diagram), the result of this research is to produce a dashboard information system for borrowing meeting rooms which can make work easier and make room borrowing schedules well organized.Kata kunci: OOAD, Peminjaman Ruang, Sistem Informasi, Unified Modeling Language

Abstract

PT. Appipa Indonesia dalam mengelola data pegawai saat ini masih dilakukan secara terpisah-pisah atau belum tersusun dengan baik dimana sistem yang ada belum dapat memudahkan pencarian data karyawan dan juga belum terintegrasi dalam satu sistem informasi. Tujuan penelitian adalah menghasilkan pengembangan sistem informasi portal karyawan dan menerapkan CRM (Customer Relationship Management) sebagai metode pengembangan perangkat lunak. Dan untuk aktifitas fokus ke pengambangan model menggunakan UML (Unified Modeling Language) sebagai pemodelan sistem, dan RUP (Rational Unified Process) penulis pilih sebagai perancangan dan pengujian pada portal karyawan PT Appipa Indonesia. Alasan penulis memilih RUP (Rational Unified Process) sebagai perancangan dan pengujian karna memiliki proses yang detail dan berurut. Dan juga setiap langkahnya terkontrol secara sistematis. Sistem yang akan dibangun ini memberikan kemudahan bagi unit SDM untuk melakukan pencarian data karyawan. Dan untuk user dapat memudahkan untuk mengubah datanya secara mandiri.

Abstract

Currently, XYZ Gas Stations, in carrying out fuel sales activities, have not yet used a simulation of calculating fuel supply needs at gas stations which functions to support decision making by the leadership, this causes frequent stock shortages at each XYZ gas station branch. because of that the authors are interested in creating a modeling system for calculating fuel inventory simulations using the Monte Carlo method and the LCM pattern. The purpose of this research is to produce a simulated calculation of the supply of purchased fuel so that management knows how much stock of fuel must be provided at each gas station and also to prevent empty fuel stocks at each gas station in the XYZ branch. The data collection methods used in this study were interviews, observations, and literature studies. The system is designed using the JAVA Programming Language. The data processed in this study is transaction activity data for January and February 2022 to determine the amount of inventory that must be provided in March 2022. The final results of the data processing that has been carried out with the trial purchase data transactions for the two current months, namely January and February 2022 to get the simulation results of fuel oil (BBM) supplies in March whose activation has been running with simulation predictions using the Monte Carlo Algorithm.

Abstract

At the Al-Qur'an-based PAUDQ An Najah, they are required to innovate in learning activities during the pandemic. The learning media used in PAUDQ An Najah still uses paper media, so teachers have difficulty providing material during the pandemic. Researchers feel the need to develop android-based interactive learning media to improve the quality of learning during the Covid19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to develop interactive learning media for the introduction of android-based Arabic vocabulary to assist teachers in the teaching process and to assist the role of parents in providing learning guidance to their children. The method used is Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which has concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing and distribution stages. This research produces interactive learning media applications that can be operated on parents' smartphones to support online learning. Abstract

This study aims to analyze and design a web-based teacher attendance monitoring application at SMK Ibnu Sina Batam. We expect this application to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of teacher attendance management through the use of digital technology. The research methods used include literature studies, interviews, and direct observation of the teacher attendance management process. We design the system using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), implement it using the CodeIgniter framework, and use MySQL as its database. We conduct testing using the Black Box method to verify that all functions operate as anticipated. The results show that this application can monitor teacher attendance in real-time and improve discipline. By cutting down on manual checks and enhancing transparency and accountability in school management, the implementation of this application significantly enhances the quality of education at SMK Ibnu Sina Batam.

Abstract

Sistem ini merupakan sistem informasi penggajian pada CV. Xyz yang selama ini dalam membuat laporan admin masih menggunakan sistem semi komputerisasi yang belum memiliki sebuah standaryang baku. Sistem yang akan dirancang ini berbasiskan pemrograman database dengan menggunakan tahapan perancangan sistem dengan metode waterfall dengan tahapan lima yaitu analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, penulisan kode program, pengujian program dan penerapan program. Sedangkan pemodelan yang digunakan menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML) yang terdiri dari yaitu use case diagram, activity diagram, class diagram dan sequence diagram. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah analisis sistem baru pemodelan UML dan terdiri sembilan tabel untuk mendukung pembuatan aplikasi. Pengujian sistem informasi penggajian dengan black box testing dan juga diterapkan dan berjalan dengan baik yang telah di ujicoba di dalam localhost sistem yang telah dinyatakan berhasil untuk membantu membuat laporan dan mencetak slip gaji yang dan diperiksa pimpinan secara online. Aplikasi terbatas pada halaman admin dan juga perlu penambahan verifikasi dashboard agar sistem dapat menjawab informasi data yang dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan serta diperlukan peningkatan sumber daya manusia, yaitu sumber daya dalam pengoperasian sistem dan mampu merawat, memelihara sistem tersebut dengan baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) merancang sistem informasi jasa pengiriman cargo domestic berbasis web pada Perusahaan PT Mandiri Express Logistics (2) mempermudah pekerjaan karyawan PT Mandiri Express Logistics serta meminimalisir terjadinya kesalahan. Untuk melakukan penelitian ini terdapat 3 penelitian sejenis yang menjadi referensi bagi penulis dalam membangun perancangan sistem informasi jasa pengiriman cargo domestik ini. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode wawancara, observasi studi Pustaka dan studi literatur sejenis dan metodologi pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) dan menggunakan pemodelan Unified Modelling Language (UML) serta menggunakan PHP sebagai Bahasa pemrograman, MySQL sebagai database server dan Blackbox testing sebagai tahap pengujian sistem. Hasil penelitian ini berupa Sistem Informasi Jasa Pegiriman Cargo Domestik Berbasis Web Pada PT Mandiri Express Logistics.
