Abstract

Model Creative Problem-Solving telah banyak diterapkan untuk upaya meningkatkan Creative Thinking, namun penerapan ini belum mempertimbangkan kecerdasan majemuk siswa. Riset ini bertujuan untuk meningktkan Creative Thinking melalui model Creative Problem-Solving berorientasi Multiple Intelligences pada bidang studi matematika sekolah dasar pedesaan. Classroom Action Research merupakan pendekatan riset yang digunakan. Dua puluh tiga siswa kelas 4 sekolah dasar pedesaan di Kabupaten Probolinggo dilibatkan pada riset ini. Pengamatan, interviu, dokumentasi, dan tes tulis dilakukan untuk pengumpulan data riset. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitati. Riset ini menyumbangkan dampak yang bagus bagi siswa dan guru. Kecakapan berpikir kreatif siswa terus meningkat secara konsisten. Peningkatan besar terjadi pertemuan awal siklus 2, yaitu 142 poin pada nilai total dan 0,34 poin pada nilai rata-rata. Untuk pertemuan lain, peningkatan dapat dikatakan konsisten yaitu antara 53-81 poin pada nilai rata-rata dan 0,13-0,20 poin pada nilai rata-rata. Hasil riset ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang konsisten terkait kompetensi guru dalam mengajar. Peningkatan tertinggi terjadi siklus 1 pertemuan kedua, yaitu 5 poin pada nilai total dan 0,20 poin pada nilai rata-rata. Untuk pertemuan lain, peningkatan dapat dikatakan konsisten yaitu antara 2-3 poin pada nilai rata-rata dan 0,12-0,14 poin pada nilai rata-rata.

Abstract

Riset deskriptif kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan guru dalam melatih siswa untuk menuliskan proses berpikir dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika yang sederhana. Lima belas guru matematika junior yang tergabung dalam grup WhatsApp dilibatkan pada riset ini. Data diperoleh dengan memanfaatkan tes tulis dan wawancara yang hasilnya dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan content analysis. Kemampuan guru junior dikategorikan menjadi 3 level, yaitu 4 guru berpengetahuan matematika tingkat lanjut, 8 guru berpengetahuan matematika sangat memadai, dan 3 guru berpengetahuan matematika cukup memadai. Dari semua guru junior yang terlihat, tidak satupun dari mereka memunculkan proses berpikir secara tertulis pada proses penyelesaian soal cerita. Mereka lebih fokus pada kebenaran hasil akhir. Pertimbangan ini dilakukan oleh guru karena (1) kelulusan pada ujian akhir tidak dilihat dari proses berpikir tertulis, tetapi pada kebenaran hasil akhir, dan (2) kurikulum yang diberikan pemerintah tidak mendorong guru untuk menuntut siswa menuliskan proses berpikirnya. Peneliti selanjutnya dapat berinovasi dalam mendesain soal dan rubrik penilaian yang mempertimbangkan proses berpikir pada penyelesaian soal, baik untuk matematika atau bidang studi lain.

Abstract

KKG 28 di Kecamatan Rowokangkung Kabupaten Lumajang, Indonesia, Mita PKM memiliki masalah dengan temuan cara baru untuk mengajar dan belajar dan kurangnya pemahaman dari pihak guru tentang pendidikan digital. Tujuan dari yang kami lakukan di sini adalah membantu KKG dalam mengembangkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui metode pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan literasi digital. Untuk melaksanakan hal tersebut dilakukan workshop. Kedua pendekatan ini, yaitu teoritis dan praktis, digabungkan. Menggunakan kahoot sebagai contoh model pembelajaran inovatif, tulisan ini mengambil pendekatan teoritis. Menggunakan kahoot, model pembelajaran inovatif, pendekatan praktis digunakan untuk menyusun rencana pembelajaran (RPP). Ditemukan bahwa keikutsertaan dalam kegiatan ini meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang model pembelajaran baru dan kemampuan mereka untuk menciptakannya, serta kemampuan mereka untuk membuat rencana pembelajaran (RPP). Ditemukan juga bahwa kemampuan guru untuk menggunakan model pembelajaran baru ditingkatkan melalui penggunaan pembelajaran digital berbasis game.

Abstract

Learning during the COVID-19 pandemic requires all educators to be more creative and innovative in packaging subject matter. The subject matter presented is not only interesting but also must be able to maximize the competencies possessed by students. Therefore, learning materials must be made very pleasant and easy to understand. The purpose of this Community Service (PPM) activity is to provide elementary school teachers with skills and insight in creating simple and interesting children's songs according to the theme of the lesson in elementary school, so that students can be more interested and easily understand the material presented by the teacher. The method used in this activity is training and mentoring which is carried out online with the target subject of 73 elementary school teachers in Magetan. The stages of training activities include working on pre-test questions, explaining song creation material, practicing individual children's song creations, assisting in creating children's songs via WhatsApp, Telegram groups and Google Drive, presenting the results of song creation followed by evaluation of the next activity working on post-test questions. The result of the implementation of training and mentoring activities is that elementary school teachers can better understand how to make children's songs according to simple, easy and interesting lesson themes. This can be seen from the results of making song lyrics that are in accordance with the theme of the lesson, making good tones that are created by themselves or using existing tones and being able to sing songs that have been created. The conclusion is that the training and mentoring activities for the creation of thematic children's songs have been carried out well and provide benefits to elementary school teachers. It is hoped that similar activities can continue to be carried out in order to increase teacher creativity.

Abstract

This research aims at investigating the improvement of physical condition of members of Student Activity Unit (UKM) of women aerobic gym in Universitas Nahdhlatul Ulama Surabaya (UNUSA) through aerobic gym learning. This research adopted quantitative approach through descriptive method to describe physical condition of UKM members of women aerobic gym that included: endurance of heart muscle, arm muscle, and stomach muscle, and flexibility. Sample of this study engaged 20 students of women aerobic gym of UNUSA. Results revealed that90% of the students had very low heart muscle endurance. 80% of the students had low arm muscle endurance, whereas 20% of the students’ arm muscle endurance was very low. 65% of the students had adequate stomach muscle endurance, while 35% of the students had low stomach muscle endurance. 40% of the students had low flexibility, while 60% of the students had very low flexibility. Aerobic gym learning needs to be done gradually and well programmed by following frequency standard, intensity, and training tempo. To achieve a good physical condition, portion of physical training must suit the possessed skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Mind Mapping learning model on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 207 Gresik in the Indonesian language subject. The background of this research is the low student achievement in understanding reading materials, identifying main ideas, and connecting information within texts—primarily caused by the use of conventional, less engaging teaching methods. The Mind Mapping model was chosen because it is believed to help students visually and logically organize information, thereby enhancing conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills. This research employed an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of 30 randomly selected fourth-grade students. The instruments used included multiple-choice and essay tests as well as student perception questionnaires. The validity and reliability tests indicated that all instruments met the necessary standards. The t-test results showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes after implementing the Mind Mapping model in the experimental class compared to the control class. In conclusion, the application of the Mind Mapping learning model is effective in improving student achievement in the Indonesian language subject and can serve as an innovative alternative teaching strategy in elementary education.
