Abstract

Straightening machines are essential in the oil and gas industry. These machines are intended to straighten bent drill pipes after the drilling process. The operator must be near the straightening machine for manual operation and control. This limitation prevents the operator from monitoring the machine's performance directly and efficiently. In response to this challenge, this study proposes to use the Internet of Things to enable remote control and monitoring of the straightening machine using the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller. The proposed system integrates sensors and electronic components to collect and process critical data from the straightening machine. The INTER-METH method develops an IoT system to control the straightening machine remotely. The RemoteXY cloud server receives the collected data via a Wi-Fi network using the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport protocol. This setup enables real-time data retrieval by an Android-based application. The proposed system allows the user to monitor the machine's operational status and control it remotely, thereby increasing efficiency by up to 45% and reducing the total cost of operation by about 60%. With the implementation of IoT, the operator could remotely monitor the performance of the straightening machine, thereby increasing operator safety by more than 50%. These advances improve operators' safety conditions and simplify maintenance and operational processes. In addition, future research could focus on robust data security measures. These developing systems could be operated with other industrial IoT platforms and utilize data analytics for predictive maintenance, extending the machine's life.

Abstract

Role play is a tool of dramatic explorations, which engages participants within an aesthetic, there-dimensional problem-solving process to examine, explore, and reflect upon issue of personal and collective importance. The aim of study was to find out whether or not the use of role play of daily conversation in teaching speaking is able to improve the students’ speaking ability or not. This research used quasi-experimental method. The sample of the research is 30 students of first grade of SMA Muhammadiyah Aimas which was divided into two classes. The data has collected through interview on pre-test and role play show on post-test. The data analysis showed the improvements of the students’ speaking ability who are studied through role play. It was proven by the mean score of experimental class was 72.3 with SD 3,527 higher than control class was 65,7 with SD 4,154. In other words, Role Play techniques can improve the speaking ability of the students.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the management of Inspectorate apparatus resources and the factors that influence the management of apparatus resources as well as describe the steps for implementing regional guidance and supervision policies towards regional apparatus in realizing good governance. Data was obstained from interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the Kediri Regency Inspectorate in realizing good governance has strenghthened supervision by increasing apparatus resources through a management function approach including planning, organizing, directing and supervising. Factors that influence include infrastructure, adequate budget for increasing competence, routine and mandatory tasks and increasing the capabilities of the Inspectorate. The Kediri Regency Inspectorate has implemented regional guidance and supervision policies for regional officials into the Annual Supervision Work Program every year.

Abstract

Maximizing Arabic-speaking learning outcomes for MAN 1 Sungai Penuh students has been a significant goal. However, many students struggle to become proficient in the language despite this. This study aims to understand the underlying issues better. The research utilized a case study approach, incorporating interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection methods. Data reduction, display, and conclusion were employed as data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the lack of a language-rich environment has hindered students' ability to develop Arabic speaking skills. The findings highlight the critical role of an immersive language environment in facilitating Arabic language learning. In conclusion, this research underscores the need for a language-rich environment for effective Arabic language learning. By providing an environment that encourages and supports Arabic language use, students at MAN 1 Sungai Penuh may be better equipped to acquire the language skills they need to succeed.

Abstract

This research is based on the practice of divorce conducted outside the Religious Court session. Such practices show that the birth of the Compilation of Islamic Law was not immediately accepted by the community. People still think that the rules contained in classical fiqh are final and irreplaceable. Therefore, this research aims to see that the renewal of Islamic law, especially divorce, is a necessity. This research is a library research (library research). The primary source of data in this research is Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 1991 concerning the Compilation of Islamic Law. The theory used to analyze the data is the theory of depreciation (al-Qabḍ) and development (al-Basṭ) popularized by Abdul Karim Soroush. The results of this study show that the mechanism of divorce before the Religious Court is a form of development of the rules contained in classical fiqh. Therefore, this mechanism cannot be said to be a form of desacralization of classical fiqh.

Abstract

Desa Made juga dikenal dengan desa sinden, karena banyak sinden tersohor lahir dari desa ini. Desa ini juga terkenal dengan wisata Sendang Made. Sendang made merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata yang tempatnya adem dan asri ini menyimpan cerita tutur tentang Raja Airlangga. Sendang Made menawarkan pemandangan alam yang menenangkan dengan air yang jernih dan lingkungan sekitar yang asri, dan belum terlalu komersial. Sehingga perlu untuk dikembangkan melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Metode pelaksanaan secara keseluruhan terdiri dari persiapan, pelaksanaan, monitoring, evaluasi indikator keberhasilan dan keberlanjutan program. Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian ini berupa rancang bangun PLTS sebagai Energi alternative pengganti energi Listrik, Rancang bangun Smart Tourism menggunakan Internet of Things, Pelatihan dan pendampingan managemen bisnis, dan Pelatihan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) Pokdarwis. Dari kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan didapatkan bahwa, pelatihan dan pendampingan instalasi solar panel dan internet of things sangat bermanfaat bagi peserta, yang menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan ketrampilan manajemen bisnis dan perancangan SOP managemen pokdarwis yang sebelumnya hanya 63,1% meningkat menjadi 83,2%. Adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta rata-rata yang sebelumnya 43,3 % setelah pelatihan pemahamannya 81,3%; Unit usaha desawisata ini masih dalam tahap pengembangan dan perlu beberapa sentuhan pengetahuan dan teknologi untuk meningkatkan kinerja pengelola unit usaha ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi kepala sekolah dalam menyusun KTSP melalui pembinaan terprogram. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan Agustus sampai dengan Oktober 2016 dengan subjek penelitian adalah tujuh Kepala Sekolah Dasar yang termasuk dalam daerah binaan peneliti. Sedangkan objek penelitian adalah kompetensi Kepala Sekolah Dasar dalam menyusun KTSP. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, angket/soal, dan observasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan model spiral dari Kemmis dan Taggart. Tehnik yang digunakan dalam menganalisis data menggunakan tehnik analisis deskriptif komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan terprogram dapat meningkatkan kompetensi kepala sekolah dasar dalam menyusun KTSP. Nilai rata-rata tes awal adalah 65, sedangkan nilai rata-rata tes akhir 80, ada kenaikan 23,1%. Kepala sekolah dapat menjawab secara runtut pertanyaan mengenai KTSP, dapat menjelaskan prosedur dan isi KTSP. Tim di bawah pimpinan kepala sekolah dapat menyusun KTSP yang sesuai dengan buku Pedoman Penyusunan KTSP di Sekolah Dasar yang diterbitkan oleh BSNP. Abstract

The hatching machine is one of the media in the form of a box with such a construction so that the heat inside is not wasted in vain. The temperature inside the box can be adjusted according to the degree of heat required during the hatching period. In the field of animal husbandry, especially in duck farming, the problem faced is how to incubate chicken eggs in large quantities and at the same time. The DHT sensor is a sensor package that functions to measure air temperature and humidity at the same time which includes an NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) type thermistor to measure temperature, a humidity sensor with resistive characteristics to changes in water content in the air and a chip inside which performs several conversions. analog to digital and outputs in a single-wire bi-directional format. The DHT sensor is used to determine the temperature in the room. An automatic monitoring system for temperature and humidity of a room (egg incubator) using a DHT11 sensor. The DHT11 sensor has many advantages, the response speed is quite fast, has good resistance to interference and is quite cheap in price. The choice of the microcontroller that became the brain of this controller fell on the Arduino UNO. For heating the incubator, 2 lamps with a power of 75 watts are used. The incubator room is equipped with 1 fan for air circulation.Circuit testing is done by turning on the power for the entire circuit and then the LCD display displays the air temperature and humidity that have been measured by DHT11 and sent serially. In this study the results obtained that the room temperature is stable, namely 38 C.

Abstract

Providing irrigation water on agricultural land aims to meet plants' water needs. In its use, irrigation water must be used optimally. An automatic irrigation system is needed to provide water to plants in the desired conditions. The irrigation canal system is a simulation system using a software program Matlab 2013b. Reconfiguration simulations applied to irrigation systems are used to increase efficiency and determine the amount of irrigation water to regulate the provision of irrigation water according to needs. As a controller comparison, an artificial intelligence method is used for controller tuning based on the Modified Firefly Algorithm (MFA). The furthest water discharge results can be reduced in the reconfiguration model with a minimum discharge before reconfiguration of 0.91308 pu, and after reconfiguration, it becomes 0.93337 pu. So by reconfiguring the network with MFA, you can reduce water discharge losses by 30.3337% from previous losses

Abstract

Karakteristik sebuah mesin ditentukan oleh hubungan sistem pengaturan (pengapian dan aliran bahan bakar) terhadap daya generator (pg), daya motor (Ne), momen torsi, daya poros efektif dan konsumsi bahan bakar. Penelitian sebelumnya engine test tidak diberi sistem pengereman sehingga tidak dapat mengetahui besarnya momen torsi, daya poros efektif, daya generator (pg) dan konsumsi bahan bakar. Pada penelitian ini diberikan solusi berupa pemberian sistem pengereman. Metode desain ini dengan menyusun rancangan, pembeuatan komponen, reakitan, pengujian, analisa dan hasil pengujian. Dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa, pengujian torsi pada putaran 2200 rpm, 2500 rpm, dan 2800 rpm, momen torsinya sebesar 2,94 Nm, 3,43 Nm, dan 3,92 Nm. Dan daya poros efektif sebesar 676,98 Watt, 897,51 Watt, dan 1148,82 Watt..
