The existence of the Khoriyah Hasyim Vocational High School is one of the schools that carries out many religious activities. The existence of gaps in behavior (attitudes) among students requires educational institutions to be more active in developing religion. The formation of attitudes and personality attracts people and becomes an image for several schools. Therefore, with proper implementation, the process of realizing a school religious culture will become easier and more systematic. The aim of this research is to: (1) analyze the basis for the development of religious culture at Khoriyah Hasyim Vocational School Jombang, (2) analyze the implementation of religious culture development at Khoriyah Hasyim Vocational School Jombang, (3) analyze the implications of the principal's leadership for the development of religious culture at Khoriyah Vocational School Hasyim Jombang. The approach in this research uses qualitative research with a descriptive analytical case study approach. This research results in (1) the basis for developing religious culture at SMK Khoriah Hasyim Tebuireng Jombang, namely; environmental support, competent teachers, and based on five principles, namely; sincere, honest, responsible, hard work and tolerance. (2) implementation of religious culture development at Khoriyah Hasyim Tebuireng Jombang Vocational School

ABSTRACTChanges in education in modern society in the era of the expectation that is in accordance with the needs of the community, especially to meet the needs in the field of education through the inculcation of Islamic values in the teaching and learning process of students. Islamic education is expected to be an education that is not only as knowledge but Islamic education must be able to be applied to personal learners to the fullest as Muhaimin said that Islamic education that is currently underway in several Islamic educational institutions is more dominant in the transfer of knowledge, while the practical aspects are not serious maximum attention. the transfer of knowledge is very important but far more important is the practice of science itself through Islamic values.Basically, Islamic education is sourced from the Al-Qur'an and Hadith therefore a person who wants to develop the concept of Islamic education must base on the Al-Qur'an and Hadith in an Islamic-based educational institution starting from the stake holders of existing Islamic educational institutions, Therefore, in applying Islamic education there must be Islamic values that must be carried out continuously, so that Islamic education can be applied by stakeholders in Islamic-based institutions, so that these values can become a culture that must be implemented in the environment of Islamic education institutions with such institutions can be good and advanced in the eyes of society or government.Studying KH. Salahudin Wahid Hasyim in the concept of Islamic education, he tried to present the concept of Islamic education through Islamic values that originate from the Qur'an and hadith, such as sincerity, honesty, responsibility, hard work and tolerance (tasamuh). These values must be implemented in the world of Islamic education and Islamic education institutions. Islamic education which is based on the values of the Koran and Hadith provides an opportunity for all students to be directly involved in developing their abilities and talents, so that students are able to become good human beings, have good morals and have active, creative and innovative abilities in accordance with values - the value of good Islamic education.Â Â Keywords: Islamic Education Value, KH. Abstract Strengthening the values of religious moderation is paramount in efforts to overcome diversity. The word lan moderation in religion is al-wasathiyah. In fact, in the field, religious moderation carried out in Cukir Jombang Village is carried out in a family manner in Islamic religious activities which include Islamic organisations, celebrations of Islamic holidays, and routine recitation. The implementation of this research is aimed at evaluating the model of implementing religious moderation in Cukir Jombang Village, by implementing three data collection models, namely documentation, observation, and interviews. The research location is Cukir Village, Diwek District, Jombang Regency. Based on the results of observations, it was found that religious activities at the Al-Qur'an Education Park acted as a place to spread love for humanity, introduce the value of moderation, and national ideas. Religious activities in Cukir Village, Diwek District, Jombang Regency run optimally and have a positive impact and are involved in strengthening Islamic religious organisations in various activities, fostering, and creating peace between religions and Muslims. This study discusses the figure of K.H. Salahuddin Wahid. three focuses Democratic Leadership Profile of K.H. Salahuddin Wahid in Improving Modern Islamic Education at Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School Jombang. Democratic Leadership of K.H. Salahuddin Wahid in Improving Modern Islamic Education at Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School Jombang. The Role of Democratic Leadership K.H. Salahuddin Wahid dedicates the development of modern Islamic education at Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach with historical methods, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of this study indicate that, the profile of KH. Salahudin Wahid shows good democratic leadership Jcharacteristics, including moderate influence, inspiring motivation, intellectual, and collective consideration. His leadership strategy integrates Islamic and general education. Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School has undergone changes in the era of the caretaker K.H. Salahuddin Wahid., Through his role, Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School has undergone changes in physical and non-physical aspects. and the construction of new buildings to support facilities. In the non-physical field, K.H. Salahuddin Wahid established many units to support the process of organizing Islamic boarding schools. The impact is significant, improving the quality of education, modernizing physical facilities, strengthening the role of Islamic boarding schools in society, and expanding alumni networks. This study contributes to understanding how the principles of transformational leadership can be applied effectively in traditional Islamic educational institutions facing modern challenges.

The purpose of this study was to analyze KH. Salahudin Wahid's democratic leadership in Improving Modern Islamic Education at Pesantren Tebuireng. Using a qualitative approach with a historical method, data was collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results of this study show that KH Salahudin Wahid's profile shows good democratic leadership characteristics, including moderate influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual, and collective consideration. His leadership strategy of integrating Islamic and general education of Pesantren Tebuireng has undergone changes in the era of the caretaker of K.H. Salahuddin Wahid. Through his role, Pesantren Tebuireng experienced changes in physical and non-physical aspects and the construction of new buildings to support facilities. In the non-physical field, K.H. Salahuddin Wahid established many units to support the process of organizing the pesantren. The impact is significant, improving the quality of education, modernizing physical facilities, strengthening the role of pesantren in society, and expanding the alumni network.

Leadership in higher education has a strategic role in developing the professionalism of lecturers, especially in the Islamic higher education environment. The purpose of this study is to analyze leadership strategies in higher education and policies implemented to develop the professionalism of lecturers based on religious values. The study was conducted in two universities, UNHASY and UNIPDU. The type of research uses qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection involves observation, interviews, and documentation. Primary data was obtained from research subjects, namely the rector and lecturers, while secondary data was in public and private documents. Thematic data analysis techniques and data validity use triangulation techniques. The study results show that UNHASY and UNIPDU have a basic transformational leadership style but have different approaches. UNHASY applies leadership based on religious values , focusing on character and ethical development. At the same time, UNIPDU adopts leadership that is more adaptive to global change and integrates religious practices with technological developments. Both leadership models significantly impact lecturer professionalism, as seen in competence in teaching, the use of technology, and the ability to be a moral role model. This study recommends the importance of developing visionary and responsive leadership to global change and the need to integrate ethical values in developing lecturer professionalism. The implications of this study in the context of higher education confirm that supportive and participative leadership styles are essential for a thriving academic environment. Leadership styles must also be adjusted to the cultural context and values that exist in each institution. This study also contributes to the development of the lecturer's professionalism theory. The findings suggest that effective higher education leadership contributes directly to improving the quality of lecturers' work, which includes innovation in teaching and achieving research targets.

Penelitian ini mengkaji kepemimpinan Kyai di Pesantren Tebuaireng, dengan fokus pada transisi dari pendidikan kelasik ke pendidikan modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kyai menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan visioner, demokratis, dan spiritual yang menciptakan lingkungan inklusif yang mendorong kolaborasi dan inovasi. Kepemimpinan demokratis memungkinkan partisipasi aktif dalam pengambilan keputusan, sementara kepemimpinan karismatik memperkuat ikatan emosional antara Kyai dan staf, menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang harmonis. Selain itu, integrasi kepemimpinan spiritual membantu menjaga keseimbangan antara nilai-nilai agama tradisional dan kebutuhan pendidikan modern.Upaya modernisasi meliputi adopsi teknologi, pendidikan multibahasa, dan penggabungan perspektif Islam dalam sains, yang membekali santri dengan keterampilan penting untuk menghadapi tantangan global. Manajemen konflik juga dilakukan melalui musyawarah, yang menjamin keselarasan di tengah perubahan. Sebagai kesimpulan, inovasi kepemimpinan di Pesantren Modern Tebuireng berhasil menjembatani tradisi dan modernitas, menawarkan model bagi pesantren lain dalam menghadapi persaingan di dunia Pendidikan yang serba cepat

Leadership in education management has a crucial role in determining the success of educational institutions. Effective leadership is able to provide clear direction, inspire and motivate all members of the educational community to achieve a common vision and goals. Strong educational leaders will create a positive school culture through open communication, co-operation and active participation, which contributes to a productive learning environment. In addition, leadership in education management also demands the ability to integrate vision into action, through efficient resource management, appropriate staff development programmes and continuous evaluation. Thus, the success of educational institutions depends largely on the balance between visionary leadership and structured management.

Indonesia merupakan negara yang pluralistic, berlatar belakang aneka ragam budaya, suku, bahasa, adat, agama, ras sehingga rawan terjadinya sebuah pertikaian dan pertengkaran. Masyarakat Indonesia harus dapat bersikap secara tengah-tengah tidak fanatik terhadap salah satu pihak, begitupun dalam hal beragama perlu adanya sikap toleransi dan saling menghargai dari satu agama dengan agama yang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan 2 hal yaitu pemahaman moderasi beragama dikalangan mahasiswa dan proses penerapan komunikasi intrapersonal terkait Pendidikan moderasi beragama dalam diri masing-masing mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologi. Pada proses pemahaman moderasi beragama, penelitian ini menggunakan 4 indikator yaitu komitmen kebangsaan, toleransi, anti kekerasan dan penerimaan terhadap budaya. Sedangkan untuk unsur komunikasi intrapersonal antara lain sensasi, persepsi, memori dan berpikir. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa UNISDA dapat memahami konsep moderasi beragama sesuai dengan 4 indikator tersebut. Dalam proses komunikasi intrapersonal mahasiswa juga dapat langsung memberikan reaksi dengan cara mengungkapkan ketidaksetujuan, dan memberikan rasa spontan jika dalam pendapatnya ada rasa tidak suka. Dengan begitu komunikasi intrapersonal dapat diterapkan pada semua mata kuliah khususnya pada program studi pendidikan agama islam, umumnya pada segala tema karena konsep komunikasi intrapersonal adalah melatih sikap berpikir dan pemahaman seseorang tentang suatu masalah dan kejadian sehingga menimbulkan keputusan dan tindakan
