Abstract

Collaboration between teachers and parents plays an important role in supporting the cognitive development of early childhood in kindergarten (TK). This study aims to explore the effectiveness of this collaboration through a literature study method. Data were collected from various academic sources to analyze the impact of collaboration on children's cognitive abilities, strategies applied, and challenges faced. The results of the study indicate that synergistic support between teachers and parents improves children's logical, critical, and creative thinking skills, through project-based learning activities, exploration, and consistent interactions between the school and home environments. Collaborative strategies such as intensifying communication, involving parents in learning activities, and strengthening learning at home have proven effective in creating a meaningful learning environment for children. However, challenges such as time constraints, differences in understanding, and access to technology are obstacles that need to be overcome. This study recommends the development of training programs for teachers and parents, as well as providing a digital platform to strengthen collaboration. With an integrated approach, collaboration between teachers and parents can optimize the cognitive development of early childhood, providing a strong foundation for Education.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the condition of the traditional game Engklek on Sentosa Street, RT.10 RW.04, Kapuas Hulu Regency, with a focus on early childhood (5-6 years old). This research is descriptive in nature, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research indicate that the Engklek game has positive potential with adequate playing space, but it requires improvements in physical aspects and supporting facilities. The community's awareness of preserving this game is relatively good, but there is a need for an increased understanding of cultural values. Supporting factors involve community support, educational institutions, and the government, but collaboration needs to be enhanced. The implementation of Engklek in early childhood provides benefits in the development of motor skills, social skills, and cultural values. Therefore, collaborative efforts are needed to raise awareness and provide facilities that support the traditional game to remain relevant for children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa permainan ular tangga modifikasi untuk meningkatkan aspek sosial emosional anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK Sirajuddin. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang masih berfokus pada buku dan lembar kerja, serta permainan yang belum dimodifikasi secara visual dan materi. Media yang digunakan belum menarik dan belum mendukung pendekatan bilingual serta ekspresi sosial emosional secara optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Permainan dimodifikasi dengan menambahkan gambar ekspresi emosi, pertanyaan reflektif sosial-emosional, dan unsur bilingual (Bahasa Indonesia dan Inggris). Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli media, materi, dan bahasa, serta diuji melalui uji coba awal dan lapangan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan skor kevalidan rata-rata 0,98 (sangat valid), dan kepraktisan mencapai 98% (sangat praktis). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa media permainan ular tangga modifikasi efektif dan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial emosional anak secara menyenangkan. Penelitian ini juga memberikan kontribusi sebagai referensi inovatif dalam pengembangan media edukatif berbasis permainan untuk PAUD.

Abstract

This research bases on the benefit of the song as a medium of learning for children, for early childhood because they will know many words if the song is always listened to be sung so it can enrich the vocabulary of early childhood. The purpose of this research is to test the utilization of Melayu Kalimantan Barat Song to increase early childhood vocabulary to maintain local wisdom. The research approach is qualitative in classroom action research, includes four stages: Planning, Action, Observing, and Reflecting. This classroom action research consisted of six cycles. The subjects of the research are six children in B class of PAUD Aisyiyah 2 Pontianak Utara. The result shows the percentage before action 16,67%, then in cycle I, raised to 19,44%, cycle II raised to 21,52%, cycle III raised to 24,99%, cycle IV raised to 31,24%, cycle V raised to 41,66%, cycle VI raised to 47,91%. Generally, it is stated 33,33% children in Very Well Developed, 16,67% children in Develop as Expected, and 50% children Undeveloped, because there is one child in a language barrier, two children absent with reasons. Therefore, I state that Traditional Song Melayu Kalimantan Barat “Kapuas River” improves the vocabulary of early childhood. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh manfaat lagu sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran bagi anak-anak, khususnya bagi anak usia dini karena anak-anak usia dini akan mengenal berbagai kata dari lagu yang dinyanyikan, apalagi jika lagu tersebut selalu diperdengarkan dan selalu dinyanyikan oleh mereka sehingga dapat memperkaya kosakata (vocabulary) pada anak-anak usia dini. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah menguji pemanfaatan lagu tradisional melayu Kalimantan Barat untuk meningkatkan vocabulary anak usia dini dalam menjaga kearifan lokal. Pendekatan penelitian adalah kualitiatif yang berbentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, yang mana meliputi empat tahap: Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Pengamatan, dan Refleksi. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini terdiri atas 6 (enam) siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 6 (enam) orang anak di kelas B Paud Aisyiyah 2 Kecamatan Pontianak Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan persentase sebelum tindakan 16,67%, selanjutnya siklus I menjadi 19,44%, siklus II menjadi 21,52%, siklus III 24,99, siklus IV 31,24%, siklus V 41,66%, dan siklus VI 47,91%. Jadi, secara keseluruhan, dinyatakan 33,33% anak Berkembang Sangat Baik, 16,67% anak Berkembang Sesuai Harapan, dan 50% anak Belum Berkembang, yang mana satu anak terhambat bahasa (16,67%), dua orang tidak dapat mengikuti pembelajaran karena suatu alasan. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menyatakan bahwa Lagu Tradisional Melayu Kalimantan Barat, yaitu “Sungai Kapuas” dapat meningkatkan Vocabulary Anak Usia Dini.
