Abstract

SMA Negeri 5 South Bengkulu is one of the State Senior High Schools in South Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Province. The school already has internet access and a computer network in the Lab that can be accessed by teachers, students, and staff within the school. However, access to the network does not yet have a security system that can prevent several threats from attacking the network. The purpose of this research is to implement snort on computer networks at SMA Negeri 5 South Bengkulu. Securing the computer network at SMA Negeri 5 South Bengkulu to avoid unwanted things by implementing Snort in it which will detect if there is a threat of attacks. Snort will be tasked with detecting attacks that occur if a client attacks the server in the form of pinging of death or DDos attacks. Based on the test results that have been carried out, the application of snort can help schools in knowing security system information on computer networks at school, as well as securing computer networks at school.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 5 South Bengkulu is one of the public schools in South Bengkulu that already has internet access at the school in collaboration with Indihome. The amount of bandwidth obtained is 50 mbps. The purpose of this research is to apply HTB (Hierarchical Token Bucket) in helping bandwidth management so that internet usage can be used evenly. The implementation of HTB (Hierarchical Token Bucket) in Bandwidth Management at SMA Negeri 5 South Bengkulu can help bandwidth management so that internet usage can be used evenly based on the priority user rights that have been created, where there are 3 bandwidth priorities that will be applied with different bandwidth amounts, namely the Principal, Teachers, and Staff. IP Address used is IP class C, where the Server has IP Address 192.168.1.15, then for clients connected to USB Lan Adapter has IP Address 192.168.2.2 for Principal, IP Address 192.168.2.3 for Teachers, and IP Address 192.168.2.4 for Staff. The implementation of this IP Address is carried out on every device that will be connected to the internet network at SMA Negeri 5 South Bengkulu. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, the results show that bandwidth management at SMA Negeri 5 South Bengkulu is running well and bandwidth distribution is carried out evenly.

Abstract

Internet utilization in the government sector, especially at Selebar Sub-District Office of Bengkulu City, has been implemented to help in managing administrative data, search for information by browsing, and assist with reporting. Internet access at Selebar Sub-District Office of Bengkulu City uses the Indihome provider which can be accessed by every staff employee. The implementation of Proxy Server on internet network at Selebar Sub-District Office was built using the Linux Ubuntu Server operating system. The proxy server is implemented by filtering social media websites such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and others. Besides that, filtering is also carried out based on working hours and rest hours. The implementation of Proxy Server on the internet network at Selebar Sub-District Office can create a conducive process of managing the administrative system and searching for information and can help filter social media websites so that the work of staff employees is not disturbed and administrative management can be carried out without interruption. Based on the tests that have been carried out, it can beconcluded that the implementation of proxy server on the internet network atSelebar Sub-District Office is running well and is able to restrict access to severalwebsites, but for VPN access it can still access social media.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to assess student satisfaction with the learning system at SMA Negeri 6 Kepahiang. The survey method was used to collect data from students at SMA Negeri 6 Kepahiang. The sample for this research consisted of 100 students selected randomly. The research instrument is a questionnaire containing 8 items which assess opinions regarding the teacher's presence, regarding the teacher's competency/ability, regarding the teacher's learning system in the classroom, the teacher's responsiveness in explaining and answering questions, the teacher's concern for students in the class, the infrastructure and facilities used, The teacher's delivery of learning is in accordance with the learning design, and your opinion on the communication provided by the teacher in class. The research results show that the majority of students are satisfied with the learning system at SMA Negeri 6 Kepahiang. However, there are several aspects that need to be improved, such as the quality of facilities and interaction between teachers and students. Apart from that, some students also feel dissatisfied with the learning atmosphere at SMA Negeri 6 Kepahiang. This research can provide important information for schools to improve the quality of learning systems and meet students' needs in teaching and learning.

Abstract

Selection of the best village in Seginim District requires a systematic and objective approach to assess various influencing factors. One method that can be used to support decision making is the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method, which combines value-based assessment with criteria weighting. This study aims to implement the WASPAS method in a decision support system (DSS) in selecting the best village in Seginim District based on several predetermined criteria, such as level of development, infrastructure quality, health, education, and community economy. In its implementation, each village is evaluated by giving weight to each criterion according to the priorities that have been set, then the assessment results are combined to obtain a final value that indicates the village with the best performance. The results of this study are expected to provide effective and efficient solutions in the process of selecting the best village, as well as provide a strong basis for fairer and more transparent decision-making at the government level

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan jaringan yang ada ketika ada gangguan perangkat jaringan, perangkat jaringan yang terputus koneksi menemukan status perangkat yang terputus memerlukan waktu. Jadi ada rentang waktu yang dibutuhkan dalam melihat status koneksi perangkat yang bermasalah tersebut. Metode penelitian yaitu incremental model yang dilakukan adalah requirement analisis penentuan kebutuhan, specification proses spesifikasi dari analisis kebutuhan, architecture design perancangan aplikasi agar sesuai kebutuhan, code melakukan design dengan menuliskan kode program, test pengujian aplikasi yang dibuat. Aplikasi ini menerapkan fungsi tool Packet Internet Gropher (Ping) untuk untuk memeriksa aktifitas jaringan berbasis teknologi Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). Aplikasi ini juga terintegrasi ke database MySQL. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini aplikasi yang dibuat dengan Bahasa pemrograman php dapat memantau koneksi setiap perangkat jaringan dan mengirimkan log ke email admin yang menerapkan protokol Simple Mail Transfer Protocol dan memberikan kemudahkan pencarian posisi perangkat yang mengalami gangguan untuk ditindak lanjut perbaikan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to apply the naïve bayes algorithm for the classification of periodontal disease at the Dental Polyclinic of the Pajar Bulan Health Center UPTD. Periodontal diagnosis is one of the diagnoses with severe conditions that are often complained about at the Dental Polyclinic of the Pajar Bulan Health Center UPTD. However, the problem at the Pajar Bulan Health Center UPTD is that the dental polyclinic patient data is still mixed in one book without any data grouping. So that it is difficult to determine the type or classification of periodontal disease according to its severity. Therefore, a method is needed that is able to classify the risk level of various periodontal diagnoses that occur at the Pajar Bulan Health Center UPTD so that they can be handled immediately with appropriate actions using the Naïve Bayes method. From the results of the tests carried out, the Naïve Bayes method can be used as a solution in using this system. In its application, this Naïve Bayes method can classify the type of periodontal disease at the Pajar Bulan Health Center UPTD

Abstract

The implementation of Virtual Private Network for file server access at Air Dikit Sub-District Office can assist Air Dikit Sub-District Office in managing files sent by each village office, as well as simplify the process for village offices to send population reports and other documents to Air Dikit Sub-District Office via Virtual Private Network. File server access at Air Dikit Sub-District Office is built using a Samba server with the Linux Ubuntu Server 24.04.1 operating system. The server contains 7 shared folders corresponding to the names of each village office within Air Dikit Sub-District, and each Village Office is assigned 1 operator account used to access these shared folders. Additionally, there is a condition where a village office cannot access another village office's folder due to the authentication and verification process for operator accounts on each shared folder. Based on the testing conducted, the use of Hamachi VPN is limited to only 5 users who can connect, as the Hamachi version used is still the trial/free version.

Abstract

Educational assistance programmes from the government and other parties allow people to focus on education without being burdened by costs. In Indonesia, various aid programmes are available, including Bidik Misi for new students and special programmes for active students in need. These programmes aim to help poor, high-achieving students continue their education. However, there are problems in the determination of aid recipients. Aid funds are often misused by some students for hedonistic lifestyles. This is due to a selection system that is not objective and is still influenced by "insider power". Assessments based on students' economic conditions and achievements are often ignored, and priority is given to students who have connections in related institutions. This practice contradicts the purpose of the educational assistance programme, which is supposed to help students with economic limitations. Therefore, this research uses a Decision Support System (SDM). This study involved 15 students as data samples and used 5 assessment criteria. The selection of data samples was carried out by applying the Combined Compromise Solution method, one of the methods in decision making. From the selection process, 3 students were selected who were entitled to receive assistance. They are Siti Humairoh with a final score of 2.5395, Hafid Bangko in second place with a score of 2.2353, and Syfa Zahra in third place with a score of 2.1629. The three students have fulfilled all the requirements and they can proceed to the initial data validation process.
