Abstract

The behavior of employees at work determines the success or failure of the company in achieving the vision and mission that has been set. Increasingly high business competition requires quality human resources, totality and agility in work. This study aims to determine the role of employee agility and employee engagement on organizational citizenship behavior among employees in the Employee District. The sample used in this study were 92 employees and the sampling technique used was snowball sampling. The scale used is the Psychology scale which consists of organization citizenship behavior, employee agility and employee engagement scales. Data analysis used SPSS software version 26. The results of the study found that there was an effect of employee agility and employee engagement on organizational citizenship behavior among employees in Karawang.

Abstract

This research able to knowing the role of organizational support on work performance mediated work engagement. The variables tested in this study are organizational support as exogenous variables, work engagement and work performance as endogenous variables. The research respondents were autism therapists at institutions for children with special needs in Karawang, totaling 203 therapists. Data analysis used Structural Equation Model (SEM) using partial least squares (PLS). Based on the results of the hypothetical model test, organizational support influences work performance mediated by work attachment. This means that the research theoretical model can be accepted as a model that fits the data in the field. This also shows that the stronger the employee gets support from the organizational and the employee understands the employee's work engagement will increase. The yield from these findings able to use consideration to handle increased employee work engagement at the Institute.

Abstract

In this digital era, people increasingly prefer to engage in easy activities, such as online shopping. Impulsive buying is a phenomenon that occurs unconsciously in daily life, both by men and women. The age group of 18-21 years old, particularly adolescents, tend to engage in impulsive buying more than other age groups. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the influence of conformity and positive emotions as predictors of consumer impulsive buying tendencies in online shopping in Karawang. The research method used in this study is an associative quantitative method. The research instruments include a 42-item conformity scale, a 38-item positive emotions scale, and a 23-item impulsive buying tendency scale. The population of this study is online shoppers aged 18-21 years old in Karawang. The sampling technique used is quota sampling with a sample size of 385 people. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression test using JASP 0.16 software. Based on the data analysis, the significance value obtained was < 0.001 or p < 0.05, indicating that conformity and positive emotions can influence the tendency of consumer impulsive buying in online shopping in Karawang as predictors. The influence contributed by conformity and positive emotions towards the tendency of consumer impulsive buying in online shopping in Karawang is 20.4%, while the remaining 79.6% is influenced by other variables outside the scope of this research.

Abstract

Companies involved in the construction sector also frequently encounter issues related to human resources (HR). Construction companies are industries engaged in the provision of facilities and infrastructure for the benefit of the community, subject to local government regulations. Construction projects have unique characteristics because their outcomes are not repetitive, they are temporary in nature, involve work accidents, are dominated by physical activity, and involve multiple elements of activity and parties involved in the implementation process. This creates a vulnerability to various obstacles. The purpose of this study is to look into the impact of work-life quality on employee engagement among construction workers in Karawang, with the work environment acting as a moderating factor. This study's data gathering method included the use of instruments in the form of employee engagement, quality of work life, and work environment measures. The hypothesis in this study was tested using Moderated Regression Analysis. The results of the analysis suggest a considerable positive association between the quality of work life and employee engagement among Karawang construction workers, with a correlation coefficient of rxy = 0.761 and a significant value of p = <0.001 (p<0.05). The moderation analysis results show that there is no connection between work life quality and work environment. This implies that the work environment is unable to operate as a mediator between work-life quality and employee engagement.

Abstract

The government's policy regarding the resumption of face-to-face schooling requires students to adapt to a new learning system. The situation faced by students will impact their psychological state, including their subjective well-being. Several factors predicted to play a role in subjective well-being are emotional maturity and social support. This research aims to investigate the role of emotional maturity and social support in subjective well-being among high school students in Karawang. The method used is a quantitative method by distributing an online questionnaire using Google Forms. The scales used were the Subjective Well-being Scale, Emotional Maturity Scale, and Social Support Scale. The research participants consisted of 287 respondents from grades X, XI, and XII who had undergone face-to-face learning after the government-imposed activity restrictions. The results of the data analysis using multiple linear regression techniques showed an F-value of 27.762 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.005, indicating that the hypothesis in this research is accepted. This means that the emotional maturity and social support variables, together, have an influence on subjective well-being.

Abstract

Resilience is the individual's ability to choose to recover from sad and challenging life events by increasing their knowledge to be adaptive and overcome similar adverse situations in the future. In early adulthood, many individuals experience a condition called quarter-life crisis, where they feel a sense of worry caused by uncertainty about their future life. Therefore, resilience is needed to face the existing challenges, in order to be able to adapt and protect individuals from the rigors of stress. Resilience arises as a protective factor that is distinguished internally and externally. Externally, resilience is related to attachment, which is a continuous affective bond characterized by a tendency to seek and maintain closeness to specific figures, especially when under pressure. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to determine the influence of self-esteem and attachment as predictors of resilience in young adults who are experiencing quarter-life crisis simultaneously. The method in this research is quantitative, with a sample of early adults experiencing quarter-life crisis, thus the sampling technique used in this research is incidental sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a resilience scale, the standardized Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), and the attachment scale using the Experiences in Close Relationship-Revised-General Short Form (ECR-R-GSF) scale, Additionally, the Developmental Crisis Questionnaire (DQC-12) scale was used to measure quarter-life crisis in early adults. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple regression analysis. From the research results using SPSS version 27, a significant value was obtained for both independent variables of 0.000 < 0.005, therefore Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, indicating that self-esteem and attachment together are predictors of resilience in early adults experiencing quarter-life crisis.

Abstract

Di era serba digital ini masyarakat semakin gemar untuk melakukan hal-hal yang mudah seperti melakukan aktivitas belanja online. Pembelian impulsif merupakan fenomena yang terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang dilakukan oleh laki-laki ataupun perempuan. Kelompok remaja yang berusia 18-21 tahun merupakan kelompok usia yang memiliki kecenderungan untuk melakukan pembelian impulsif dibandingkan dengan kelompok usia lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konformitas dan emosi positif sebagai prediktor terhadap kecenderungan pembelian impulsif konsumen belanja online di Karawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif asosiatif. Instrumen dalam penelitian yaitu skala konformitas yang berjumlah 42 item, skala emosi positif yang berjumlah 38 item, dan skala kecenderungan pembelian impulsif yang berjumlah 23 item. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen belanja online yang berusia 18-21 tahun di Karawang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling kuota dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 385 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji regresi linier berganda melalui software JASP 0.16. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data didapatkan nilai signifikansi < 0,001 atau p < 0,05, hal ini berarti konformitas dan emosi positif dapat berpengaruh sebagai prediktor terhadap kecenderungan pembelian impulsif konsumen belanja online di Karawang. Adapun pengaruh yang disumbangkan konformitas dan emosi positif terhadap kecenderungan pembelian impulsif konsumen belanja online di Karawang adalah sebesar 20,4% dan 79,6% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain di luar penelitian ini. The instruments in the study were the conformity scale, which totaled 42 items, the positive emotion scale, which totaled 38 items, and the impulsive buying tendency scale, which totaled 23 items. The population in this study are online shopping consumers aged 18-21 years in Karawang. The sampling technique used was quota sampling with a total sample of 385 people. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression test through JASP 0.16 software. Based on the results of data analysis, it was obtained a significance value of <0.001 or p <0.05, this means that conformity and positive emotions can influence as a predictor of the tendency to buy impulsive online shopping consumers in Karawang. Conformity and positive emotions contribute to the impulsive buying tendency of online shopping consumers in Karawang by 20.4% and the other 79.6% are influenced by other variables outside of this study.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh fanatisme terhadap perilaku konsumtif pada penggemar boygroup NCT di Karawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian kausal dan teknik quota sampling (nonprobability). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah penggemar boygroup NCT di Karawang sebanyak 250 orang yang bergabung dalam grup chat, dengan sampel sebanyak 146 orang berdasarkan tabel acuan Isaac & Michael (taraf kesalahan 5%). Data dikumpulkan menggunakan dua skala: skala fanatisme (14 aitem) dan skala perilaku konsumtif (43 aitem) dengan nilai reliabilitas skala fanatisme 0,867 dan skala perilaku konsumtif 0,975. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana, didapatkan nilai Sig. 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, maka ada pengaruh fanatisme terhadap perilaku konsumtif pada penggemar boygroup NCT di Karawang dan pengaruh yang disumbangkan variabel fanatisme terhadap perilaku konsumtif sebesar 34,4% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fanaticism on consumptive behavior among fans of the NCT boy group in Karawang. The research method used is quantitative method with causal research design and quota sampling technique (nonprobability). The population in this study were 250 fans of the NCT boy group in Karawang who joined the chat group, with a sample of 146 people based on Isaac & Michael’s reference table (5% error rate). Data was collected using two scales: fanaticism scale (14 items) and consumptive behavior scale (43 items) with a reliability value of 0.867 fanaticism scale and 0.975 of consumptive behavior scale. Data analysis in this study used a simple linear regression test, obtained a Sig. 0.000 <0.05, which means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, so there is an influence of fanaticism on consumptive behavior of NCT boygroup fans in Karawang and the influence that the variable of fanaticism contributes to consumptive behavior is 34.4% and the rest is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi saat ini memengaruhi aktivitas kehidupan, khususnya perilaku konsumen. Konsumen dapat melakukan aktivitas belanja tidak hanya melalui offline, tetapi juga melalui situs belanja online. Konsumen dapat mengakses dengan mudah informasi tentang produk atau jasa yang dibutuhkan melalui laman matketplace. Hal ini membuat aktivitas pembelian menjadi tidak terkendali dan mengarah pada perilaku pembelian kompulsif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga diri dan kontrol diri sebagai prediktor pembelian kompulsif pada konsumen belanja online di Karawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif asosiatif. Instrumen dalam penelitian yaitu skala pembelian kompulsif yang berjumlah 13 aitem, skala harga diri yang berjumlah 10 aitem, dan skala kontrol diri yang berjumlah 13 aitem. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah konsumen belanja online yang berusia 18-30 tahun di Karawang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling kuota dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 103 responden. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda melalui program JASP 0.16. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data didapatkan nilai signifikansi < 0,001 atau p < 0,05, hal ini berarti bahwa harga diri dan kontrol diri dapat berpengaruh sebagai prediktor pembelian kompulsif pada konsumen belanja online di Karawang. Adapun pengaruh yang disumbangkan harga diri dan kontrol diri terhadap pembelian kompulsif konsumen belanja online di Karawang adalah sebesar 33,2% dan 66,8% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain di luar penelitian ini. The rapid development of information technology today affects life activities, especially consumer behavior. Consumers can carry out shopping activities not only through offline, but also through online shopping sites. Consumers can easily access information about the products or services needed through the marketplace page. This makes buying activities uncontrollable and leads to compulsive buying behavior. This research aims to determine the effect of self-esteem and self-control as predictors of compulsive buying on online shopping consumers in Karawang. The research method used is associative quantitative method. The instruments in the research were a 13-item compulsive buying scale, a 10-item self-esteem scale, and a 13-item self-control scale. The population in this research were online shopping consumers aged 18-30 years in Karawang. The sampling technique used was quota sampling with a sample size of 103 respondents. The data analysis technique in this research used multiple linear regression tests through the JASP 0.16 program. Based on the results of data analysis, the significance value is obtained <0.001 or p <0.05, this means that self-esteem and self-control can influence as predictors of compulsive buying in online shopping consumers in Karawang. The influence contributed by self-esteem and self-control on compulsive buying of online shopping consumers in Karawang is 33.2% and the other 66.8% is influenced by other variables outside this research.

Abstract

Human potential that can be developed can increase productivity and employee performance. The amount of commitment to a company influences the success of an employee's performance. Some of the phenomena found in employees who study at Buana Perjuangan University, Karawang, are the difficulty of managing their schedule between study and work, physical fatigue, and having to hide their identity as a student at their place of work. This research examines how much influence work-life balance has on organizational commitment among Buana Perjuangan University Karawang students who study while working. Participants in this research were 319 students studying while working. The research instrument used was the organizational commitment scale consisting of 24 items as the dependent variable and the work-life balance scale consisting of 17 items as the independent variable. The sampling technique used was quota sampling. The data analysis technique in this research uses simple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS statistics 25 program. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, a significance value of 0.004 <0.05 is obtained, which means work-life balance has a positive influence on organizational commitment, with an R square value of 0.708, which means that the influence contributed by the work-life balance variable on organizational commitment is 70.8% and the remaining 29.2% is influenced by other variables. This means that there is a relationship between the work-life balance variable and organizational commitment. The higher the work-life balance, the higher the level of commitment to the organization.Potensi manusia yang dapat dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan hasil keproduktifan juga kinerja karyawan. Besar komitmen terhadap sebuah perusahaan mempengaruhi keberhasilan kinerja seorang karyawan. Beberapa fenomena yang terdapat pada karyawan yang kuliah di Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang yaitu sulitnya mengatur jadwal antara kuliah dan bekerja, kelelahan fisik, serta harus menyembunyikan identitasnya sebagai mahasiswa di tempatnya bekerja. Penelitian ini menguji seberapa besar pengaruh work-life balance terhadap komitmen organisasi pada mahasiswa Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang yang kuliah sambil bekerja. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang kuliah sambil bekerja berjumlah 319 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala komitmen organisasi yang terdiri dari 24 aitem sebagai variabel dependen dan skala work-life balance yang terdiri dari 17 aitem sebagai variabel independen. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah quota sampling. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan program SPSS statistic 25. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,004 < 0,05 yang berarti work-life balance memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap komitmen organisasi, dengan nilai R square sebesar 0.708 yang berarti pengaruh yang disumbangkan variabel work-life balance terhadap komitmen organisasi sebesar 70,8% dan sisanya sebesar 29.2% dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain. Artinya terdapat hubungan antara variabel work-life balance dan komitmen organisasi. Semakin tinggi work-life balance maka semakin tinggi tingkat komitmen terhadap organisasi.
