Abstract

Leadership is an important central point in an organization. To be a good leader requires a variety of knowledge, experience, and skills in various things. This article discusses effective leadership in teams. Leaders chosen in an organization or team are required to have the ability in various ways, especially in organizing team members to achieve goals or goals effectively and efficiently, encouraging each team member to be able to make their best contribution to the organization, company, or institution even in the team. The purpose of writing is to know about effective leadership in a team and to achieve goals effectively and efficiently. The method of writing this is to conduct a literature review from various printed sources and various other sources of scientific information. Based on the observations obtained, successful leadership is influential leadership, transformative leadership, and leaders who can overcome dynamics in the team. Some things that affect leadership effectiveness include; the relevance of leadership style, leadership qualities, leadership qualities, and good teamwork.

Abstract

Abstract Banten Jaya University has a website https://www.unbaja.ac.id which was created in 2018 to make it easier for students to access academic information. Although this website has grown rapidly over time, it does not yet provide campus weather information. Some official weather sites only cover sub districts, not taking into account campus locations. Therefore, this research develops an Internet of Things (IoT) based weather monitoring system using nodemcu and temperature, humidity and weather intensity data. This research uses the Waterfall Method and produces an effective tool that can monitor the weather situation on the Banten Jaya University campus using the DHT 11 sensor, LDR sensor and Raindrop sensor. This research is the first step in developing a weather monitoring system on campus.

Abstract

Nonz Eqy Laundry is a service business that is engaged in washing various types of clothes. The transaction data management system laundry that is currently running still uses the method of writing with paper media to record transactions every day. Without a system that can store laundry, data is vulnerable to lose or damage, and errors are still common in reporting. Based on these problems, it is proposed to create a web-based computerized information system that aims to assist in managing transactions and making laundry. The system is built using the Waterfall, consisting of analysis, design, implementation, and system testing stages. The design stages are carried out with application architecture design, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD). The implementation process uses a database and the PHP programming language with h framework Laravel. The final result achieved from this research is that the existence of laundry income reports laundry every month.

Abstract

In the age of information technology as it now has made humans. Entering a new era, namely the information age that demands everything running fast, CV. Mustika Bahari is a company engaged in the industrial sector that has not implemented a computerized system so that existing payroll information for new employees can not be fulfilled optimally. To get information, the data processing. Slow can result in slow presentation, a problem that exists in CV. Mustika Bhari than the finance and admiistartion departemen. The design uses the waterfall method, data flow, and entity relationship diagram. The employee payroll system, because this computerized payroll information system can change work that was previously done manually and seems to take a long time to provide information and make a decision in doing attendance employee hiring employees

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi sudah semakin berkembang dan mempengaruhi proses pengolahan data sehingga dapat dilakukan dengan mudah. Salah satunya adalah proses pengolahan sumber daya manusia untuk proses penempatan karyawan. PT. X merupakan salah satu industri yang bergerak dalam bidang produksi sepatu, dalam mengambil keputusan untuk melakukan seleksi karyawan yang akan di tempatkan pada Department Engineering. Proses pengambilan keputusan untuk penempatan karyawan pada Department Engineering dibutuhkan suatu Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) untuk membantu mencari solusi berdasarkan beberapa kriteria tertentu dan memberikan berbagai alternatif pilihan. Sistem pendukung keputusan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah TOPSIS (Technique for Others Reference by Similarity to Ideal Solution). Penggunaan metode TOPSIS ini bertujuan untuk membantu manajemen dalam pengambilan keputusan menempatkan karyawan pada bagian yang ada di Department Engineering sesuai dengan profil dan kriteria penilaian yang ditetapkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan posisi terbaik yang diterima karyawan untuk di tempatkan pada bagian yang ada di Department Engineering.

Abstract

The Indonesian Red Cross in Serang City has a command post that serves as an information center for disaster events in Serang City. The recording of disaster data carried out by the Command Post is usually by entering it into a .doc format, which makes data storage and presentation less effective. The reports are offline, making them difficult to access for people who want to know about disaster events. The above problem is solved by designing a web-based geographic information system application (web GIS) that can record and present disaster event information. The data collection method used in this research is direct observation and documentation to get the right data. The methodology used in designing this system is the waterfall method. This disaster geographic information system facilitates the preparation of disaster event reports containing coordinates and disaster coverage areas.

Abstract

This study explores the design and development of applications to monitor student learning at TKQ Assyukuriyah. This research was conducted to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the teaching and learning process, which was previously carried out conventionally and faced several obstacles, including loss or damage to books, and the ineffectiveness of providing learning progress reports from schools to parents. The formulation of the research problem is how the application provides access to questions for students and makes it easy to record reports on the results of evaluations of learning progress using the iqro' and juz amma methods with safe data storage and how parents obtain information on learning progress. This research aims to provide easy access to questions for students, teachers record the results of evaluations of learning progress in reading using the iqro and juz'amma methods with secure data storage and make it easier for parents to obtain information on learning progress. Using the waterfall method for software development. The results of this research show that this application has succeeded in simplifying the process of recording monitoring of students' learning progress by storing data safely, reducing the time and energy of teachers in preparing questions, and making it easier to provide information on learning progress to parents. Abstract

The laboratory in higher education institutions is one of the facilities that must be available, usually used for practical and trial purposes. At the Bina Husada Banten Midwifery Academy, lecturers and students use the laboratory according to the schedule of certain courses. However, due to limited human resources and the large number of tools used, borrowed tools are often not returned on time, and the recording is still conventional through borrowing and returning books, so it cannot be controlled properly. Therefore, the author tries to design an information system that can monitor the borrowing and returning of laboratory equipment so that it is used and returned according to schedule. Observations, interviews, and literature studies were conducted to collect the necessary data. At the same time, system development was done using the waterfall model and modeling using unified modeling language (UML), PHP programming language, and MySQL database. Through this system design, the borrowing of laboratory equipment can be monitored properly so that the use of equipment can be regulated properly and accurately. The limitation of using a website-based system is that when the internet resource is disconnected or there is no electricity, transactions cannot be carried out, therefore it is necessary to develop a system that can be implemented online or offline.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan suatu sistem informasi yang memudahkan proses pengolahan nilai dan pelaporan hasil belajar siswa secara komputerisasi. Hal ini untuk menjaga terjadinya pekerjaan yang berulang dan menghindari pemborosan terhadap biaya yang butuhkan untuk menggunakan kertas. Selain itu juga dapat membantu menyampaikan informasi perkembangan siswa kepada orangtua agar menjadi lebih mudah dan efisien. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall dimana hal ini menggambarkan pendekatan yang sistematis dan berurutan pada pengembangan perangkat lunak. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan pada perancangan aplikasi meliputi tahap perencanaan, tahap analisis, tahap perancangan dan implementasi serta teknik pemodelan yang digambarkan dengan Unified Modeling Language (UML). Penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu sistem informasi pengolahan nilai raport berbasis web yang memudahkan guru dalam melakukan proses penginputan nilai terhadap hasil belajar siswa secara online, membangun sistem informasi berbasis web untuk penginputkan data nilai siswa dan pembuatan raport berdasarkan nilai yang didapatkan dari guru setiap kelas, membangun sistem informasi pengolahan nilai Raport di SMP Negeri 1 Petir  secara terkomputerisasi sehingga dapat mempermudah guru dalam pengolahan nilai raport SMP Negeri 1 Petir .Kata kunci : Nilai Rapot, Pengolahan data, Sistem Informasi, Waterfall, Web This research aims to develop an information system that facilitates the process of processing grades and reporting student learning outcomes in a computerized manner. This is to prevent repetitive work from occurring and avoid wasting the costs required to use paper. Apart from that, it can also help convey information about student progress to parents to make it easier and more efficient. This research uses the waterfall method, which describes a systematic and sequential approach to software development. The research methods used in application design include the planning stage, analysis stage, design and implementation stages as well as modeling techniques described in the Unified Modeling Language (UML). Abstract

Preliminary. The Banten Jaya University Library repository system still uses the conventional method of storing it on a shelf in the reference room, this makes it difficult for students who are completing their final project/thesis to access it online. Moreover, with the closure of the campus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the PSBB and PPKM were continued. Research purposes. This research makes it easier for students to access library repository collections wherever they are, measure the extent of students' literacy skills in utilizing information sources, and show the impact on their research performance. Research methods. The data collection method uses a questionnaire, with statistical analysis, a model for assessing student literacy skills with Empowering 8, which is a research method used to produce products and test the effectiveness of these products, with the Waterfall system development model, which consists of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Data Analysis. Metadata obtained from the repository application, distributing questionnaires to students taking Thesis/Final Project courses from each faculty. Results and Discussion. The literacy level of Banten Jaya University students is quite good, especially after the online repository has been built, there is a significant correlation between student literacy levels and student performance results. Conclusions and suggestions. A good literacy level is the basic capital in solving student problems while doing their research, it is necessary to have a Research Information Literacy program for students that is integrated with Research Methods courses so that student research performance increases in accessing the repository that has been built.
