Abstract

This study is motivated by the teacher's ability to manage the class which is lacking due to the teacher's lack of expertise in swimming, thus hindering the swimming learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of swimming learning modifications on breaststroke swimming skills in class X high school students at SMA Negeri 2 Klari School. This study used a pretest-postest group design with a quasi-experimental method. The data analysis technique used SPSS Transformation 26. This study used a population of 175 class X students followed by 2 classes totaling 35 experimental group students and 35 control group students. By using a swimming test assessment instrument. The results showed that the experimental group experienced an increase in the average score of 50.16 on the pretest to 71.88 on the posstest, the control group increased 41.25 to 66.25. the two groups were relatively balanced, namely 52.4 for the experiment and 51.7 for the control. But after the treatment, the experimental group increased significantly to 78.6, while the control group rose to 64.3. Statistical tests confirmed that this difference was significant, with a significance value of 0.048 being smaller than 0.05. In percentage terms, the use of the arm swim board & back board provided an 8.50% improvement in skills compared to the conventional method (control).

Abstract

Tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa sekolah menengah atas menjadi salah satu indikator penting dalam menjaga kesehatan dan performa akademik. Penelitian ini mengembangkan instrumen survey yang dapat mengukur dan mengevaluasi komponen kebugaran jasmani pada siswa SMA. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan metode ADDIE. Instrumen survey yang dihasilkan terdiri dari beberapa komponen kebugaran seperti daya tahan kardiorespirasi, kekuatan otot, kelenturan,komposisi tubuh, dan kelincahan. Instrumen ini telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas sehingga dapat digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa SMA secara komprehensif. Diharapkan hasil pengukuran dapat membantu sekolah dalam merancang program pembinaan kebugaran jasmani yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Hasil penelitian uji coba kelayakan produk dilakukan kepada 30 orang siswa, hasil survey kebugaran siswa persentase 90% dari data yang didapatkan berkategori layak.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low basic ability of throwing students' catch in the baseball game. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. The population in this study were all students in grades V and VI (phase C) at SDN Pantai Bakti 03. The number of students in this population was 40 people who were also used as research samples through the total sampling technique. The research instruments used were observation sheets and score documentation formats. Data collection was carried out in two sessions: the first session to observe students' throwing and catching techniques, and the second session to document the scores from the midterm summative test results. The test results showed that 15 students (37.5%) were in the less category, 10 students (25%) were in the sufficient category, 9 students (22.5%) were in the good category, and only 6 students (15%) were in the excellent category. 15 students are included in the less category which is 42%, 10 students in the sufficient category which is 22%, as many as 9 students in the good category by 21% and 6 students in the excellent category by 14%. It is concluded that the basic ability to throw catch in the baseball game of students of SDN Pantai Bakti 03, Muaragembong District is generally still in the low category.

Abstract

This research examines side jobs that can be undertaken by active physical education students. This research uses a survey method in the form of filling out a questionnaire using Google From media for students active in physical education, health and recreation. This research identifies various jobs that exist outside of lecture hours, the challenges they face, and the skills needed to succeed in this field. The research results show that physical education graduates have a variety of career choices, including becoming coaches, teachers and sports management. The results obtained from research using questionnaires via Google from media contained 23 samples, with the number of active students who had side jobs amounting to 65% and those who did not have side jobs amounting to 35%. Thus, most active students have side jobs outside of lecture hours because they want to gain experience before they enter the real world of work and also have daily living needs that must be met

Abstract

The people of Waringinkarya village still do not understand how to properly implement physical fitness, and they also engage in irregular and unstructured physical activities, resulting in many mistakes in applying habits in fitness activities. This community service programme provides understanding and guidance on how to properly and correctly implement physical fitness activities. The purpose of this community service is to provide knowledge and insight related to understanding how to carry out proper and correct physical fitness activities. The participants of this activity are residents of Waringinkarya village, with a total of 30 participants. The methods used in this activity include interviews, socialisation, and training. Data collection was carried out by distributing activity questionnaires. This activity increased the knowledge of the women's exercise group about physical fitness in performing physical fitness activities. This community service activity ran well and there was an increase in participants' understanding of how to perform good and proper physical fitness activities, as experienced by the participants, namely before participating in the activity with a pre-test score of 10.9 and after participating in the activity with a post-test score of 17.3. There was a 32% increase in understanding of physical fitness activities. The implementation of this community service activity has helped to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining health and fitness and has encouraged the community to engage in physical fitness activities.   Masyarakat Desa Waringinkarya masih belum memahami tentang pelaksanaan kebugaran jasmani dengan baik, dan juga masyarakatnya dalam melakukan aktivitas gerak tidak teratur dan terstruktur sehingga masih banyak yang salah dalam menerapkan pola pembiasaan dalam aktivitas kebugaran. Program pengabdian ini memberikan pemahaman dan bagaimana pelaksanaan melakukan aktivitas kebugaran jasmani yang baik dan benar. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini memberikan pengetahuan dan wawasan terkait pemahaman dalam melaksanakan aktivitas kebugaran jasmani yang baik dan benar. Peserta kegiatan merupakan masyarakat desa Waringinkarya dengan jumlah peserta 30 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi wawancara, sosialisasi, dan pelatihan. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket/kuesioner kegiatan. Kegiatan ini menambah pengetahuan kelompok ibu-ibu senam tentang kebugaan jasmani dalam melakukan aktivitas kebugaran jasmani. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berjalan dengan baik dan terdapat peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai bagaimana melakukan aktivitas kebugaran yang baik dan benar yang dialami peserta yaitu sebelum mengikuti kegiatan dengan hasil pre test 10,9 dan setelah mengikuti kegiatan setelah post test 17.3. Terjadinya peningkatan pemahaman aktivitas kebugaran jasmani sebesar 32%. Dengan dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran diri pentingnya menjaga kesehatan dan kebugaran dan adanya kesungguhan pada masyarakat untuk melaksanakan aktivitas kebugaran jasmani.

Abstract

Physical condition is a prerequisite that is very necessary in efforts to increase the performance of an athlete, it can even be said to be a basic necessity that cannot be postponed or negotiated. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Circuit Training method on the extracurricular soccer VO2MAX abilities of students at SMPN 1 Tambelang. Quantitative research methods can be interpreted as research methods based on the philosophy of positivism, used to examine certain populations or samples, data collection uses research instruments, data analysis is quantitative/statistical in nature, with the aim of testing established hypotheses. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach that focuses on its main objective, namely to find out whether there is an effect of the Circuit Training Method on VO2MAX Ability in Soccer Games for Students of SMPN 1 Tambelang. Sampling technique by means of Cluster Random Sampling. According to P. Kurniawan, (2016: 69) Cluster Random Sampling is a random sampling technique that is selected based on groups. In this study, students at SMPN 1 Tambelang were used as samples. Results of the discussion There is a significant effect of circuit training on the ability of VO2MAX. This can be known by conducting research. Research knowing the initial conditions at the pretest obtained the highest value of VO2MAX obtained was 36.7 and for the lowest value was 29.92 and the average value was 33.322. Meanwhile, after carrying out the treatment or research, the posttest scores for circuit training learning outcomes increased with the highest VO2MAX score being 37.4, the lowest score being 30, and the average score being 34.022.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kemampuan awal kondisi fisik atlet dalam kegiatan seleksi atlet pencak silat kabupaten Bogor dalam mempersiapkan PORDA Jawa Barat tahun 2026. Program pendampingan atlet Pencak Silat Kabupaten Bogor ini sangat dibutuhkan sebagai data pendukung dan pertimbangan kelulusan atlet dari segi kondisi fisik mereka. Metode yang digunakan melibatkan pengumpulan data seluruh atlet yang mengikuti seleksi, dengan fokus pada tes-parameter fisik seperti kekuatan, kecepatan, ketahanan, dan fleksibilitas. Atlet yang terlibat dalam program tes parameter kondisi fisik menjalani serangkaian tes khusus yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan mereka di cabang olahraga pencak silat. Hasil analisis menunjukkan data kondisi fisik dalam semua tes parameter yang diukur setelah melakukan serangkaian tes ketrampilannya. Atlet yang melakukan tes parameter ini berasal dari kabupaten Bogor yang berjumlah total 76 atlet (putra 37 atlet dan putri 39 atlet). Hasil dari kemampuan awal atlet Pencak Silat kabupaten Bogor menunjukan hasil sebesar 60% kemampuannya dalam kondisi fisik atlet. Pentingnya pendampingan atlet pencak silat kabupaten Bogor dalam tes parameter kondisi fisik yang terstruktur dan terfokus dalam kondisi kemampuan atlet, untuk memberikan landasan bagi seorang pelatih dalam memilih calon atletnya dan sebagai data awal untuk membuat program latihan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Rengasdengklok menggunakan desain One-Group Pretest and Posttest Design. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Rengasdengklok. Besar subyek / sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 40 siswa kelas VIII. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan berupa observasi, angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada aktivitas belajar siswa setelah penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning. Pada saat pretest, mayoritas siswa (60%) berada pada kategori “Cukup”, 30% “Baik”, 7,5% “Kurang”, dan hanya 2,5% yang mencapai kategori “Baik Sekali”. Namun setelah treatment, pada posttest, tidak ada siswa yang berada pada kategori “Kurang” atau “Cukup”. Sebanyak 67,5% siswa berhasil mencapai kategori “Baik Sekali” dan 32,5% berada di kategori “Baik”. Secara kuantitatif, nilai rata-rata pretest siswa adalah 71, sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest meningkat menjadi 91, mencerminkan peningkatan sebesar 20 poin. Uji Paired Sample T-Test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest. Selain itu, nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 42% menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan aktivitas belajar dipengaruhi oleh penerapan model Cooperative Learning, sementara 58% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Cooperative Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa, baik secara kognitif, afektif, maupun psikomotorik dalam pembelajaran PJOK.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the application of the Game Based Learning (GBL) model in increasing student involvement during Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in one cycle, including the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were taken from SMK Bhineka Karawang which consisted of 32 students in class X TSM 1 for the 2024/2025 school year. Data was collected through questionnaires and observations to measure student participation in the learning process. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student interest and participation with an average questionnaire score of 4.56 from the Likert scale or equivalent to 90.7% (very good category). These results show that the application of Game Based Learning is able to create more active, interesting, and collaborative PJOK learning.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Physical Literacy program based on PowToon technology and AI Animation designed for elementary school students, using a four-week Before-After School approach. The program aims to improve students' understanding and physical skills through interactive and fun learning methods. In its development, the researcher used the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model, starting with an analysis of the need to find out the problems that exist in physical learning in elementary schools. Furthermore, the researcher designed a module combining PowToon technology and AI, so that learning materials can be delivered in a more interesting and easy-to-understand way for students. After the design and development stage, the program was piloted in three elementary schools in Subang Regency involving 70 students. The results of the study show that this program has succeeded in improving physical literacy, basic motor skills, and healthy lifestyles of students. With the use of PowToon technology and AI, the program has managed to provide a more enjoyable learning experience, which has a positive impact on increasing student engagement in physical activity. This is evident from the results of observations made by practitioners who show excellent judgment without any significant revision to the program. Expert validation tests provide a wealth of useful feedback for the refinement of the initial model, which is then revised to improve product quality. The results of observations and feedback from practitioners show that this program is very feasible to be implemented in elementary schools because it is in accordance with the characteristics of students and the needs of sports learning. This program has proven to be effective in supporting more interesting physical literacy learning and can be implemented well in the context of physical education in elementary schools. With these results, the 4Week-BeAf School Program can be an innovative and practical model in improving the quality of physical education at the elementary school level.
