Abstract

Kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan arsip di pemerintahan nagari. Metode yang dipakai untuk memecahkan masalah adalah dengan melaksanakan pelatihan secara menyeluruh (teori dan praktik) sehingga kemampuan pengelola arsip di Kantor Wali Nagari Balingka dan Taluak IV Suku Kabupaten Agam dapat meningkat. Agar tujuan dapat dicapai secara maksimal, maka metode pendekatan dilakukan adalah berupa proses tahap demi tahap dengan menempatkan semua peserta kegiatan PKM dalam konteks tempat kerja yang sebenarnya (On the Job Training). Pelatihan dengan bimbingan individu difokuskan kepada tata cara atau proses penataan dan penggunaan arsip, penyusutan arsip dan pemeliharaan arsip arsip pemerintahan nagari. Hasil kegiatan PKM sebagai berikut: (1) peserta kegiatan sudah bisa memilah arsip aktif, inaktif dan statis sesuai dengan sistem klasifikasi sudah ada, (2) arsip yang ada di kedua kantor wali nagari sudah tertata secara sistematis, sehingga perangkat nagari mudah dalam temu kembali arsip dan, (3) warga nagari bisa memanfaatkan arsip dengan mudah dan cepat.

Abstract

The purpose of this Community Partnership Program (PKM) activity is to solve school library problems in the application of information technology by providing understanding and skills in information technology-based school library management using the Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) 9 Bulian application in accordance with the standards set for librarians or teachers. placed in the school library. In this activity, problems will be completely solved starting from understanding concepts and carrying out school library management practices by implementing a library automation system using the SLiMS 9 application. Judging from the priority problems set, the target output of the activity is that the librarian of SMPN 4 Lubuk Alung, Padang Pariaman is able to : (1) understand the meaning, nature, and function of information technology-based school libraries. At the end of the activity, a minimum of 75% of the PKM activity material can be mastered; (2) apply the knowledge gained in the management of an automated school library; and (3) the output target in the form of a process is that the SLiMS 9 application has been installed and used as a tool to replace various routine work in the library and library managers know and take advantage of various SLiMS 9 features that have been learned during the training, such as: data entry, label creation, barcoding, circulation services, membership, reporting, browsing, heading and subjecting. There is an increase in the ability of the target audience in understanding the understanding, concepts, and processes of managing and utilizing information technology-based school libraries.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi bagaimana kegiatan preservasi dan konservsi bahan pustaka cetak yang dilakukan oleh UPT Perpustakaan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data didapatkan dari wawancara dengan seorang pustakawan, observasi langsung ke lokasi penelitian dan dokumentasi melalui pengambilan gambar. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga alur, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang dilakukan oleh UPT Perpustakaan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang dalam melakukan kegiatan preservasi dan konservasi masih dengan sederhana yakni dengan memperbaiki label buku yang rusak, menjilid cover buku yang lepas, sedangkan koleksi yang memiliki kerusakan yang berat pihak perpustakaan mengupahkan perbaikan bahan pustaka ke tempat perbaikan di luar perpustakaan. Sehingga disimbulkan bahwa untukĀ  pengoptimalan kegiatan preservasi dan konservasi perlu ditingkatkan dari segi alat-alat yang digunakan, tenaga khusus untuk kegiatan tersebut dan ruangan khusus kegiatan preservasi dan konservasi.Kata Kunci: Preservasi; Konservasi; Bahan Pustaka Cetak

Abstract

Digitalization is one of the methods carried out to develop library collections. This study aims to evaluate the digitization practices carried out in university libraries in Indonesia by understanding the types of collections and the purpose of implementing digitization projects, the procedures and stages of digitalization that are carried out, as well as the obstacles found in carrying out digitalization projects. The data were evaluated qualitatively in the form of a literature study. The data source comes from the results of previous research on digitization projects in ten domestic university libraries, which were carried out in the period from 2017 to 2022. The results found that the gray literature collection (student final project) is the most widely transferred type of collection besides the book collection. The main goal is to improve access and dissemination of information. Meanwhile, the process and stages of digitization that are passed are not much different between university libraries that are used as research samples. The difference lies in the handling of collections after the digitization process is completed, which includes storage, access management, and preservation. Several challenges are faced in the digitalization process, such as budget limitations, lack of facilities and infrastructure, and limited staff abilities and knowledge about digitalization. The conclusion is that most universities are weak in planning and do not have a clear policy for carrying out digitalization projects, which is the cause of various obstacles during the digitalization project.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) at Andalas University Library; (2) user loyalty at Andalas University Library; (3) the effect of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) on user loyalty at Andalas University Library. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive method. The population in this study were all visitors to Andalas University Library as of 2023, totaling 140,928 and a sample of 100 people. Sampling using simple random sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of examination, tabulation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the implementation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) at Andalas University Library has been implemented well, this can be seen from the responses given by respondents who stated that the completeness of technology-based services at Andalas University Library is relatively complete and makes it easier for users to get the books or references they need. In addition, the service process involving officers and users can be carried out quickly and accurately, in addition, the Andalas University library has also been supported by officers who are creative, responsive and able to serve the needs of users; (2) the level of loyalty of users who visit the Andalas University library is also relatively high, this can be seen from the existence of repeat purchases that occur repeatedly, in addition, users have a high level of retention, this can be seen from their actions to always want to visit the library almost every day, in addition, users are also concluded to have a high level of referrals, this can be seen from the number of respondents who choose to agree to invite friends to come and read books at the Andalas University Library; (3) according to the results of the hypothesis testing through the t-statistic test, it was found that Customer Relationship Management (CRM) has a positive and significant effect on user loyalty in visiting the Andalas University Library. These findings indicate that the better the implementation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) felt by users, the more their loyalty will increase. The results obtained at the first hypothesis testing stage are in line with the proposed hypothesis, so the first hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

Kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) bertujuan memecahkan permasalahan perpustakaan sekolah dalam penerapan teknologi informasi dengan cara memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilam pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah menggunakan aplikasi Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan kepada pustakawan atau guru yang ditempatkan diperpustakaan sekolah. Dalam kegiatan ini akan dipecahkan permasalahan secara tuntas mulai dari pemahaman konsep dan melakukan praktik pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah dengan penerapan sistem automasi perpustakaan menggunakan aplikasi SLiMS. Untuk mencapai tujuan kegiatan dilakukan beberapa pendekatan antara lain (1) model Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), (2) model Participatory Tecnology, (3) model Community development, dan (4) edukatif yaitu pendekatan sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Metode yang ditawarkan untuk memecahkan masalah adalah melaksanakan sosialisasi, pelatihan secara menyeluruh dalam pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan pengunaan aplikasi slim perpustakaan sekolah sudah bisa mengimput bibliografi (inventaris buku, judul, pengarang, ISBN dan over buku), pembuatan barcode, keanggotaan dan pelaporan koleksi yang ada, data peminjam, pengunjung dan buku yang paling sering di pinjam. Koleksi yang dimiliki kedua sekolah tertata secara sistematis, sehingga mudah dan cepat diakses oleh warga sekolah. Perpustakaan sekolah dapat dimanfaatkan warga sekolah untuk berbagai kegiatan yang dapat dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi peserta didik.

Abstract

This research aims to describe how the implementation of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) as a collection security system in the Printing Publishing Library of Padang State University with PIECES analysis. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Determination of informants in this study was carried out by purposive sampling method. Data collection was done by observation, interview, and literature study. Data validation was done through source triangulation which was then analysed with qualitative data analysis techniques by Miles and Huberman. The results showed that: (1) performance RFID in the library includes easy and fast access to information and identification of library materials; (2) information RFID produces accurate and relevant information; (3) econonmy RFID in the library only has procurement costs at the beginning of installation, but as the number of books that must be installed RFID decreases, the budget began not to be submitted. The resources are librarians and also components that are integrated with RFID; (4) control RFID in the library has not been accompanied by routine maintenance; (5) efficiency RFID is considered quite good starting from the efficiency of time, energy, and the way RFID works itself; and (6) the service provided using RFID is fast and is a small step for the library in improving service quality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak Artificial Intelligence (AI) terhadap proses pembelajaran mahasiswa Program Studi Perpustakaan dan Ilmu Informasi Universitas Negeri Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 78 mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik probability sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI) memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap efektivitas dan efisiensi proses pembelajaran mahasiswa. Hal ini tercermin melalui peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengakses informasi, menyusun tugas akademik, serta menyesuaikan gaya belajar secara lebih personal dan interaktif. Temuan analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa variabel Artificial Intelligence (AI) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap proses pembelajaran, dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 dan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,584. Oleh karena itu, disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence (AI) sangat direkomendasikan sebagai pendukung utama dalam proses pembelajaran mahasiswa, khususnya di era digital saat ini. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan sejauh mana implementasi program Buku Balega di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori implementasi George C Edward III. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Implementasi Program Buku Balega di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman masih belum optimal diantaranya dalam proses penyampaian informasi antar pelaksana kebijakan masih terdapat miss informasi, sumber daya berupa sarana dan prasarana serta sumber daya manusia yang belum memenuhi standar dalam pengelolaan perpustakaan. Selanjutnya struktur birokrasi dalam mekanisme pelaksanaan program belum adanya SOP dan petunjuk teknis sehingga mekanisme tidak sepenuhnya terdokumentasikan dan terstandarisasi. Sedangkan disposisi pengelola perpustakaan nagari, perpustakaan masjid, dan taman baca menunjukkan bahwa petugas memiliki semangat, antusiasme, dan tekad kuat dalam memanfaatkan Program Buku Balega ini. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa impllementasI Program Buku Balega masih perlu ditinggkatkan lagi dalam penyampaian informasi, kesediaan sumber daya, dan menyediakan petunjuk teknis dan SOP agar kegiatan lebih terarah.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology compels libraries to continuously innovate in enhancing service quality for users. One such innovation currently being implemented is Augmented Reality (AR), which is believed to enrich interactivity and improve user experience in accessing information. This study aims to describe how the implementation of AR can enhance user experience, particularly in terms of engagement, convenience, and satisfaction. A descriptive quantitative method was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 150 users of AR technology at the Solok City Library and Archives Office. The data were analyzed based on two main variables AR technology and user experience using indicators such as AR quality, system usability, user engagement, and comfort. The results show that all indicators received average scores above 3.69 on a 4-point scale, reflecting a very positive perception of the AR system. AR quality received the highest score, averaging 3.71, indicating that the technology is easy to use and provides relevant information. Thus, the implementation of AR is proven effective in enhancing interaction quality, user comfort, and information-seeking efficiency in the library, offering a more adaptive and engaging user experience.
