Abstract

Earthquake as a disaster experienced by various regions, especially Lombok, caused psychological disturbances for its victims. These psychological disorders include post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) which arise when the same symptoms occur when an earthquake is experienced. The victim experienced a severe psychological condition due to sensory and perception of the earthquake as a dangerous thing. The victims of this earthquake need to get psychological treatment. The research objective is to examine teh effectiveness of Ifdil Perceptual Light Technique for Reducing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Ifdil perceptual light technique (IPLT) is one of the treatments that can be given to overcome PTSD caused of earthquake. Intervention using IPLT through sensory and perceptual modification of individuals through the light spectrum.This research uses single-subject design to seven subjectwho have experience a PTSD symptom of earthquake.Design research using design A-B-A single subject research. The instrument  used are observation, interview, scaling technique and DSM-IV.Data were analyzed using the nonparametricWilcoxon signed-rank test. The result indicate that the respondents were high PTSD level before given IPLT. However after treatment, the symptom levels of respondents decreased.  On the basis of the Wilcoxon test results, it also was found that the PTSD level of respondent before and after the IPLT’S treatment declined. The result shows that IPLT is effective in reducing PTSD disorders in earthquake victims. IPLT can be one alternative treatment in helping earthquake victims who experience psychological disorders.

Abstract

Di era milenial, perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mengubah lanskap pendidikan, dan guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) diharapkan untuk terus meningkatkan kompetensinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kepuasan peserta terhadap Workshop Pengabdian Masyarakat Implementasi Aplikasi Digital Pengolahan AUM Seri PTSDL Berbasis Web bagi Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling SLTA di Sumatera Barat, serta untuk menganalisis perbedaan tingkat kepuasan berdasarkan gender dan domisili peserta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif untuk mengevaluasi Workshop Pengabdian Masyarakat Implementasi Aplikasi Digital Pengolahan AUM Seri PTSDL Berbasis Web Bagi Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling SLTA di Sumatera Barat. Sampel terdiri dari 80 partisipan yang tersebar di berbagai daerah di Sumatera Barat. Setelah penyaringan data, hanya 77 data yang digunakan dalam analisis. Temuan pada penelitian menunjukkan Workshop Pengabdian Masyarakat Implementasi Aplikasi Digital Pengolahan AUM Seri PTSDL Berbasis Web Bagi Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling SLTA di Sumatera Barat berhasil dengan sangat baik. Peserta sangat puas, dan sebagian besar sangat puas. Implikasinya adalah bahwa data yang dikumpulkan juga dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk perencanaan yang lebih strategis dalam pengembangan kegiatan serupa di masa depan.

Abstract

Nomophobia merupakan salah satu gangguan psikologis yang sering tidak disadari oleh kalangan remaja. Gangguan psikologis tersebut seperti perasaan takut kehilangan koneksi dengan smartphone, mengalami gangguan kecemasan atau rasa tidak nyaman saat berada jauh dari smartphone. Munculnya kecemasan dan ketakutan yang dialami oleh siswa dikarenakan tidak bisa berkomunikasi dengan orang lain melalui smartphone, kehilangan jaringan dan konektivitas, serta tidak dapat mengakses informasi dan sosial media. Kondisi kecenderungan nomophobia seperti ini sangat diperlukan strategi yang efektif untuk mengatasi masalah psikologis yang ditimbulkannya dengan segera. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menguji efektivitas ifdil  perceptual light technique (IPLT) dalam mereduksi kecenderungan nomophobia pada siswa. IPLT merupakan sebuah alternatif pendekatan brief untuk mereduksi trauma, fobia dan masalah psikologis. Intervensi menggunakan IPLT melalui  modifikasi sensorik dan persepsi individu melalui spektrum cahaya untuk mengatasi nomophobia. Penelitian  ini  menggunakan desain subjek tunggal terhadap tiga subjek yang mengalami kecenderungan nomophobia. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain A-B single subject penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, teknik scaling dan menggunakan instrumen No Mobile Phone Phobia (NMP-Q). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden memiliki tingkat kecenderungan nomophobia tinggi sebelum intervensi. Namun setelah diberikan intervensi melalui IPLT tingkat kecenderungan nomophobia menurun. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa IPLT efektif untuk mereduksi kecenderungan nomophobia pada siswa.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is one of the many phenomena experienced by students. It has become a serious issue at the senior high school level. The purpose of this study is to describe the differences in students' academic procrastination levels based on gender and school type, namely regular schools and boarding schools. This study used a quantitative method with a comparative descriptive approach. 150 students in senior high school and vocational school became the research sample. Data were collected by Academic Procrastination Scale. Data analyzed used ANAVA. The results showed that (1) there is a significant difference in students' academic procrastination in terms of gender, (2) there is a significant difference in students' academic procrastination in terms of regular school and boarding school, (3) there is no interaction of academic procrastination in terms of gender and school type. This means that the interaction between gender and school type does not determine students' academic procrastination. Teachers and counselor have a big responsibility to help students get out of the problem of academic procrastination with counseling services.

Abstract

Sistem penyimpanan arsip merupakan langkah yang berhubungan dengan penyimpanan yang digunakan untuk mencegah kehilangan atau kerusakan arsip akibat berbagai faktor. Observasi awal penulis bahwa penyimpanan arsip belum maksimal, dapat di lihat dari adanya arsip yang hilang, sulit menemukan kembali arsip dengan cepat pada saat arsip dibutuhkan, dan arsip yang menggunakan penomoran ganda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem penyimpanan arsip berdasarkan sistem abjad di ruang kepegawaian RSUD M. Natsir sudah sesuai ketentuan, namun masih terdapat arsip yang tidak teratur dan arsip yang hilang, Sedangkan sistem penyimpanan arsip berdasarkan nomor sudah sesuai ketentuan, namun masih terdapat masalah dengan penomoran yang sama pada nomor surat. Selain itu, sistem penyimpanan berdasarkan tanggal sudah sesuai ketentuan, petugas mengatur arsip berdasarkan tanggal penerimaan, namun masih menghadapi kesulitan dalam menemukan arsip karena arsip lama dan baru tidak dipisahkan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that many students experience academic stress or are at risk of experiencing academic stress. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of coping mechanisms on students' resilience in dealing with academic stress. The methodology used is a literature review, where the reviewed literature consists of previous studies relevant to this research. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that coping mechanisms influence students' resilience in facing academic stress. Students with effective coping mechanisms tend to have higher resilience in managing various academic demands.

Abstract

Social media has become an important part of students' lives in today's internet era, helping them meet their academic, social, and entertainment needs. However, excessive exposure to social media can cause fatigue, known as Social Media Fatigue (SMF), which affects students’ behavioural, cognitive, and emotional levels. This study aimed to analyse the level of social media fatigue based on demographics and technology access patterns. This research used a quantitative descriptive survey design with stratum random sampling technique by taking samples from various batches or years of student entry to the University. A total of 386 students participated, consisting of various batches or years of student entry (Year 2021 = 143 / 37.1%; 2022 = 97 / 25.1; 2023 = 80 / 20.7; 2024 = 66 / 17.1). The scale used in this study is the Social Media Fatigue scale (SMFS). Data were analysed using descriptive analysis with the help of JASP 0.19.3 software. The findings of this study indicated that the level of social media fatigue in students is high. Cognitive experience has the highest mean value among the three components of SMF, compared to emotional and behavioural experiences. In addition, findings suggested a tendency towards Emotional Experience, which may indicate that social media has a greater impact on their emotional well-being. Moreover, long access duration may worsen the consequences of social media fatigue.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology demands that all activities be carried out effectively and efficiently, as well as in the guidance and counseling assessment process, innovation and technology development is needed through the website-based AUM PTSDL series. The purpose of this service is training and developing school counselor skills in using the website-based AUM PTSDL assessment tool. This service is carried out by school counselors who are spread across districts in West Sumatra Province. Data was collected through an online questionnaire using Google From which was then analyzed using JAPS. Based on the results of the school counselor training, they felt very satisfied with the use of processing, appearance, ease of access, how to use the website-based PTSDL series AUM, then participants also felt that the material and practices presented by the resource person as a whole were very relevant. In the future, the website-based AUM PTSDL series product can be improved according to the advice of the school counselor and the cooperation of BK organizations is needed in socializing and promoting the product more broadly and the AUM PTSDL series can be developed with other formats.

Abstract

The emergence of mobile technology has led to significant transformations in communication. Nevertheless, it has also presented new challenges, notably exemplified by a phenomenon termed as "phubbing," where individuals prioritize their mobile devices over in-person interactions. This analysis of content delves into the research trends surrounding phubbing behavior, focusing specifically on 42 articles regarding phubbing in the Indonesian Journal of Counseling and Psychology within 2018-2024. The data was gathered from the Science and Technology Index (SINTA). Several aspects necessitate examination, such as the publication year, methods, subject or samples, data collection, data analysis, and other discoveries related to phubbing research. This analysis showed a growing interest in phubbing research in Indonesia, characterized by a notable rise in publications over the past 6 years. Furthermore, quantitative methodologies and surveys using questionnaires are becoming prevalent in phubbing research in Indonesia. Another significant point is the prevalence of students as the primary subjects of research, with regression and correlation techniques being the most commonly employed methods of data analysis. Consequently, it can be inferred that further exploration is crucial in phubbing research, incorporating advancements in research topics, participants, data collection methods, and data analysis techniques. The results of this investigation underscore the significance of continued exploration of phubbing, particularly through interdisciplinary approaches, to develop comprehensive strategies in mitigating its negative impacts. This study provides valuable insights for researchers and professionals seeking to comprehend and tackle the phubbing phenomenon in Indonesia.

Abstract

Nomophobia merupakan gangguan kesehatan mental yang tidak disadari oleh para remaja saat ini. World Health Organization (WHO) menyatakan bahwa remaja memiliki kerentanan untuk mengalami gangguan kesehatan mental yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan media social.  Nomophobia telah dimasukkan kedalam Manual Diagnostik dan Statistik Gangguan Mental, edisi kelima (DSM-V). Kondisi psikologis seperti ini perlunya sebuah upaya intervensi segera untuk mereduksi kecenderungan nomophobia pada siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Penelitian ini berbentuk eksperimen dengan metode single subjek research (SSR) dengan desain A-B. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas Ifdil Perceptual Light Technique (IPLT) dalam mereduksi kecenderungan nomophobia pada siswa. Intervensi menggunakan IPLT melalui modifikasi sensorik dan persepsi individu melalui spektrum cahaya untuk mengatasi nomophobia. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu terhadap tiga subjek yang mengalami nomophobia dalam kategori tinggi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah observasi wawancara,  teknik  scaling  dan menggunakan instrumen No Mobile Phone Phobia (NMP-Q). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Ifdil Perceptual Light Technique (IPLT) efektif untuk mereduksi kecenderungan nomophobia pada siswa.
