Abstract

Teknologi kini sudah berkembang sejalan dengan masa kini, tetapi masih terdapat pelayanan administrasi konvensional yang kurang efektif. Contohnya perhitungan honor guru pada pelayanan administrasi sekolah kepada guru di MTs Diponegoro Mendiro dimana proses perhitungan absensi guru sebagai dasar perhitungan gaji dilakukan pada media kertas untuk kemudian direkap pada Microsoft Excel yang sederhana, yang harus melalui tahapan proses yang panjang dan pengecekan berkali-kali, sebelum diserahkan kepada kepala sekolah untuk diperiksa dan disetujui untuk akhirnya dicetak slip gajinya. Nilai kefektifitasan sistem lama berada di angka 35%. Solusi pada penelitian ini adalah berupa sistem informasi penggajian guru berbasis web yang mengotomasi dan menyingkat proses perhitungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RnD). Hasil uji validasi yang dilakukan oleh 2 orang pakar terhadap sistem baru menunjukkan nilai akhir adalah 31 dalam kategori “valid”, dan nilai 36 “sangat valid”, dan uji lapangan terhadap keefektifitasan sistem menghasilkan angka 92,5%, naik sebesar 57,5% dari sistem yang lama.

Abstract

Company XYZ in twelve months always has a program for selecting outstanding employees. . This selection process requires accuracy and time, because employee data will be compared with the criteria set by company XYZ. The criteria set by XYZ company are work discipline, employee attendance, obedience, teamwork, work period, work spirit, and work loyalty. The selection of outstanding employees is not right on target, because it is not based on weighting. In accordance with the regulations set by the XYZ company in the selection of outstanding employees, criteria are needed to determine who will be selected to receive the outstanding employee award.The simple additive weighting (SAW) method is often also known as the weighted addition method. The basic concept of the SAW method is to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings for each alternative on all attributes. The SAW method requires the process of normalizing the decision matrix (X) to a scale that can be compared with all existing alternative ratings. By using the SAW method can solve problems in the selection of outstanding employees.

Abstract

Keberadaan Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan yang berada di daerah sangat diperlukan dalam menunjang perumusan kebijakan dan pembangunan daerah. Namun pada kenyataannya citra litbang masih belum positif, terkait dengan isu bahwa orientasi penelitain yang dilakukan di sebagian besar lembaga litbang pemerintah belum dirasakan memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap upaya memenuhi kebutuhan atau menyediakan solusi bagi persoalan yang dihadapi masyarakat, pemerintah, atau dunia usaha. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana peran Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Daerah di Kabupaten Kutai Timur dalam perumusan kebijakan dan pembangunan daerah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan peran dan fungsi litbang dalam mendukung perumusan kebijakan dan pembangunan daerah belum optimal. Hal ini disebabkan oleh ketersediaan SDA (sumber daya aparatur) Balitbangda yang belum sesuai dengan standarisasi kompetensi sebagai SDA litbang, kurangnya komunikasi dan kerjasama dengan SKPD (Satuan Kerja Perangkat Daerah) yang merupakan staholders Balitbangda.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah memberikan pelatihan pemasaran digital kepada pelaku Unit Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Desa Nyamat, Tengaran, Kabupaten Semarang. Pelatihan pemasaran digital menggunakan aplikasi Canva untuk membuat desain media promosi produk UMKM. Pelatihan ini melibatkan 15 orang peserta pada tanggal 16 Oktober 2022 di Balai Desa Nyamat. Setiap kelompok diminta untuk membuat desain media promosi produk UMKM yang dimiliki kemudian memilih design templte pada Canva. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah metode ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik secara langsung. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah terdapat peningkatan keterampilan dan pengetahuan peserta hal mendesain promosi produk menggunakan Canva. Hasil evaluasi dan monitoring memperlihatkan hasil peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta yang mencapai 70%. Implikasi dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan baru bagi pelaku UMKM dalam membuat desain media promosi menggunakan aplikasi Canva.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMK Widya Praja Ungaran. Every year the Widya Praja Ungaran Vocational School holds a New Student Registration (PPDB) to select prospective students. In the 2018/2019 academic year, 396 people registered and 298 people were accepted. The PPDB process starts from prospective students filling out the registration form and ends with the payment of re-registration funds for accepted students. The system used in the implementation of PPDB is still paper-based so that the performance of the PPDB committee is less effective. The purpose of this study is to design a computer-based new student registration system that is structured in a database to assist the PPDB committee in processing registration participant data, reduce paper purchase costs, minimize the risk of data loss, data corruption, recording and counting errors. Data collection was obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature study. This system is made using dynamic web with PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language and MySQL database. The design of this system uses UML (Unified Modeling Language). The development method used is the R&D (Research and Development) method. This study resulted in a cash-based new student registration administration system using a dynamic web to provide convenience for the committee in processing PPDB participant data from the registration process to new student re-registration transactions, as well as presenting reports quickly and accurately. Based on the research conducted, the results obtained from testing the validity of the new system score from internal and external validators. The internal validator with 20 statements obtained a feasibility percentage of 94%. An external validator with 20 statements obtained a feasibility percentage of 97%. From the results of these tests, it can be concluded that the administrative system for registering new students can be a solution to the problems found and can be implemented in the object of research.

Abstract

Although the metaverse is still a concept, the discussion continues to be carried out in line with the development of technology that leads to it and the latest products, such as the release of the Apple Vision Pro which is a hot topic of conversation in early 2024. Major world companies such as Apple, Facebook and Google look serious in welcoming this Metaverse. This Systematic Literature Review was carried out by extracting articles related to the Metaverse published between 2019 to 2024, which aims to determine the scope or field of development of Metaverse application related to the adoption of supporting technology, conclude what components can support the realization of the Metaverse, predict the potential and challenges that will be faced in the future, as well as submitting suggestions for future research.

Abstract

It is important to carry out this research because the digital tourism theme is a theme that is still relatively little carried out by other researchers. This research uses qualitative methods with literature review techniques with the results discussing 37 research article publications that are relevant to this research. The research results show that the application of digital tourism has a lot of potential that can change the way the tourism industry operates and interacts with tourists, including increased accessibility, enhanced tourism experiences based on AR and VR technology, and effective marketing. The application of Digital Tourism opens up various interesting opportunities in the tourism industry, including: digital marketing, virtual tourist experiences with AR and VR, tour guide applications, online booking, tourism data analysis, environmental conservation, and personalization of tourist experiences.The development or trend of digital tourism in 4 eras has apparently experienced a significant increase. Some of the challenges faced related to Digital Tourism include: lack of a comprehensive framework, limited understanding of technology users, the need to measure the sustainable impact of digital technology, data privacy and security issues, long-term impacts of digital tourism use, collaboration with parties involved in digital tourism, cross-cultural perspectives and implementation of management strategies using intelligent systems.

Abstract

In this increasingly advanced digital era, social media has become the leading platform for many individuals and organizations to convey messages and information to a broad audience. The training activity on interesting and informative content creation techniques for social media for digital literacy activists in Gladagsari Village, Boyolali, aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to create content that not only attracts attention but also provides high informative value and relevance. Good content is not only able to attract the attention of the audience but is also able to convey messages clearly and increase interaction and engagement. This training was attended by 15 participants and was held in Gondang Village, Ampel District, Boyolali Regency. The training uses theoretical and practical delivery techniques. The training material focuses on creating interesting and innovative content for social media platforms with copywriting techniques. The results of the training showed satisfactory results with an increase in participants' ability to create content on social media with a value of 78%, which is included in the good category.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The implementation of this service activity is carried out for teachers at the Asshodiqiyah Semarang Foundation which includes orations, training and mentoring which are given directly and gradually. The activity was carried out for 2 days and was attended by 28 participants from teachers (elementary, junior high, MA, vocational) in the Semarang Asshodiqiyah Foundation and guided by 9 presenters / lecturers from the University of Computer Science and Technology. After holding community service activities in the form of orations and training for elementary, junior high, MA and vocational teachers in the Semarang Asshodiqiyah Foundation, it can be concluded that: The implementation of these community service activities was deemed successful in developing the creativity of teachers in developing interactive learning media because the majority of the participants attending training activities can create an interactive learning media in accordance with the subjects taught at school. The teachers seemed enthusiastic about participating in this training and hoped that similar activities could be held in the future to improve the skills and abilities of the teachers. Keywords: learning media, teacher professionalism ABSTRAK Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan kepada guru di Yayasan Asshodiqiyah Semarang yang meliputi orasi, pelatihan serta pendampingan yang diberikan secara langsung dan bertahap. Kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan selama 2 hari dan diikuti sebanyak 28 peserta dari para guru (SD, SMP, MA, SMK) di lingkungan Yayasan Asshodiqiyah Semarang dan dipandu oleh 9 orang pemateri / dosen dari Universitas Sains dan Teknologi Komputer. Setelah diadakannya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa orasi dan pelatihan bagi para guru SD, SMP, MA dan SMK di lingkungan Yayasan Asshodiqiyah Semarang), dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dirasa berhasil dalam mengembangkan kreatifitas pengajar dalam mengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif karena mayoritas para peserta yang hadir dalam kegiatan pelatihan dapat membuat suatu media pembelajaran interaktif sesuai dengan mata pelajaran yang diampu di sekolah. Para pengajar nampak bersemangat dalam mengikuti pelatihan ini dan berharap kegiatan serupa dapat diadakan dikemudian hari untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kemampuan pengajar. Kata Kunci: media pembelajaran, profesionalisme guru
